Six years after the Second Rebellion, Panem is divided as the majority Outliers discriminate its minority Career and Capitolite populations. Two groups fight each other amidst the turmoil. On one side, the all-Outlier Rebels. On the other, the all-Career Cadets. Meanwhile, two teens from wildly different backgrounds would meet and befriend each other as the situation escalates.

Katniss Everdeen is the Mockingjay: the face of the Rebellion. But without Peeta, she knows that she could never go on. When Peeta is returned after his kidnapping by the Capitol, he isn't at all the same. He never recalls meeting her nor anything regarding the Rebellion. Its up to Katniss to bring him back to normal, while also deciphering friend from foe.

They say you're supposed to fall in love, get married, then have a baby. Clove and Cato, however, were never ones to do what they were supposed to. When Clove gets some unexpected news in the arena, the entire game changes.

Look over there. See that red in the pond? That's blood. Oh, and over by the bushes? That's blood too. All around you there is blood, and if you aren't careful, soon it could belong to you.

There are always those that are burdened with memories. They can never forget those that are gone. But even if they aren't ready, the cycle is about to start all over again. The 124th Hunger Games is just around the corner, and there's no telling what that could mean for Panem.
