It's short, I know. But I haven't been at my best in a while. Call me crazy, but I think I can see/hear ghosts a little. It's kinda scary. I see these illusions and such but they don't last long enough for me to make them out. And sometimes, I think someone's calling me name. Kill me now if I'm lying... Nope. Not dead yet. Well enjoy it.
The eleven kittens watched as Jeen's consciousness started to fade, leaving them the perfect opportunity to investigate.
" Itachi, see what you can find outside. If you can't get outside, look from high ground. The rest of you, scout around. If you find anything suspicious, report it to me. Disperse." All the kittens scattered, all of them going to different locations. When Tobi was about to leave, Pein called him.
" Tobi, come here." Tobi did what he was told and hopped over to his leader.
" Tobi's here, Leader-Sama! What do you need Tobi to do?" Pein sighed and shook his head.
" Please stop the voice. It's getting on my nerves." Madara shook his head and willed his tail to stop flicking. His voice shifted.
" What is it, Nagato?" Pein nodded, approving his new tone and continued.
" I want you to keep an eye on Orochimaru, make sure he doesn't touch the girl in any way, shape, or form. Got it?" Madara nodded and padded away, but not before adding,
" And why do you want TOBI to do this job?" Madara sighed, approaching Orochimaru's space.
" Because Tobi is the only one that has a score to settle with Orochimaru… I think. Just go." He nodded before bounding over to the water bottles next to Orochimaru.
Pein was about to walk away to investigate the room on his own when he heard a screech pierce the air.
" What is it now?" he almost yelled, but keeping his calm expression. Deidara ran up to Pein and looked at him with fear in his eyes.
" T-there's s-s-something you should look at…Leader-Sama." he stuttered, gesturing for the leader to follow him. The two padded over to the girl's closet where the rest of the Akatsuki stood, staring wide eyed at a large Deidara plushie.
" What is this? It looks like a mini Sempai!" Deidara hung his head, a rain cloud forming above his head.
" What the hell did I do to deserve this?" the rest of the Akatsuki chuckled.
" Deidara, it looks like you have a stalker." Kisame snickered, poking the things face. The Akatsuki jumped up when it started talking.
" Art is a bang!"
" OMYJASHIN! What the f*** is that!" Hidan screeched. Itachi's fur bristled as he looked at the thing with disgust. Kisame fell to the floor in a laughing fit and Kakuzu just sighed. Pein's fluffy eye twitched in disgust.
" This girl must have issues. Deidara, stop messing around and look."
" You don't have enough hate….and you know what, you never will." Pein spun around to glare at Kisame who had stepped on an Itachi doll.
" QUIT MESSING AROUND AND GET TO WORK!" he screeched. The Akatsuki scattered and continued with their search. Pein couldn't help but chuckle at the dolls. The things were so stupid that they were funny. A loud shriek pierced the air followed by a song chorus. The Akatsuki hid underneath the furniture.
" Leader-Sama… What is that?" Itachi questioned, glancing around self-consciously. The girl lifted her head up and reached for a rectangular device, flipping the top open and pulling it to her ear.
" What is it, sis? This better be something good or else I'll kill you." The Akatsuki stared at her. 'Had that scream come from that thing?' Sasori thought, cocking his head to the side and looking at Jeen's cell phone. Kakuzu pulled himself out from underneath a sofa.
" I'm sorry to say that I thought it was Deidara again." Deidara rounded on the Miser.
"What did you just say, un!" Kakuzu merely shook his head and padded off. Pein looked at Konan.
" Konan, did you find anything?" Konan nodded, giving him a grin.
" Of course, Leader-San. Come look." Konan led Pein over to Jeen's desk and they jumped onto the top. Konan shifted herself into a sitting position and flipped over a handkerchief. Underneath was a complete set of Akatsuki rings, all of which were kept in a metallic box.
" This girl…is strange." Pein said and Konan nodded.
" Good of you to finally catch on." She snickered.
The Akatsuki, once again, fled underneath furniture as footsteps pounded up the stairs. Jeen's head rose and she groaned.
" What happened to silence is golden?" She muttered, slamming her head into a pillow.
The footsteps ended.
And her door was thrown off it's hinges. Jeen screamed and jumped up.
Standing in her doorway was a tall man white hair and a pair of glasses. He wore a simple attire, but it consisted of black ninja shoes.
" Kabuto?" The man stared at her and blinked.
" Curious thing, how you know my name. Now tell me, where is Lord Orochimaru?" Jeen stared back at him.
From underneath the desk, Pein cocked his head to the side, wondering how she would react. Jeen blinked. Then blinked again. And blinked some more. Before throwing her head back and laughing. With humor. Lots of humor.
The Akatsuki sweat dropped and Kabuto's eye twitched.
" Why the hell would Orochimaru be in my room? That stupid Pedophile!" Orochimaru crawled out from behind the water bottles and padded over to Kabuto. Almost immediately, Jeen stopped laughing to stare at the cat that had just approached Kabuto.
" Your…Orochimaru?" Orochimaru gave her a smug grin and nodded. Kabuto looked down at Orochimaru and sighed.
" You transformed to, huh?" Orochimaru nodded and started to glare at him.
" Change me back, NOW!" he hissed menacingly. Kabuto shook his head and smiled.
" It is so simple, Lord Orochimaru. You'll be furious. You there, girl. Don't move or die." Jeen sighed and sat down on the bed, motioning for the Akatsuki to move out from underneath the furniture. The Akatsuki sprinted up to her and sat at her feet. Jeen's ears shifted when she heard the sound of water.
" OF COURSE!" she cried out, causing the Akatsuki to jump.
" It's like those weird Fan fictions online! Water changes….Akatsuki?" the Akatsuki nodded and Jeen almost fainted.
" Great. I have 10 S-Rank criminals in my freaking room." She looked at her closet and swore.
" Shoot you guys saw the Akatsuki fan junk I have huh?" The orange kitty stepped forward and mewed.
" If she knows how to change us back, why won't she do it already?" Konan just shook her head. " All men are clueless. She can't because Kabuto will know if she moved or not." Pein just shook his head and turned his head back to look at Jeen.
" Kabuto! What took you so long!" Jeen shivered at the voice.
" Ok, I'm a fan of Orochimaru as much as anyone, but his voice is downright creepy in real life." Kisame snickered and the rest of the Akatsuki nodded.
" You got that right…" Zetsu said.
" Do you know how this happened?" Orochimaru said from the bathroom. Jeen flinched and shook her head.
" Scratch that, it's creepy anytime, anywhere. I swear, how did you guys put of with him?" She whispered to him. Everyone but Deidara shook their heads.
" Sometimes I ask myself that question." Sasori muttered, scratching his ear impatiently.
" Ok now, Kitties. Why did you decide to pick the insane girl to find you, hm?" Tobi cocked his head to the side.
" Sempai, Tobi wonders why pretty girl talk like you?"
" Tobi, shut up now or I'll kill you in your sleep, hm." Tobi cringed, but inside, Madara was smirking.
' Like you could, brat.' he thought. Kitty Pein shook his head at Jeen whose head perked up when the two in the bathroom started to whisper.
" It takes cold water to transform back?" Orochimaru hissed, scaring the crap out of the others.
" Yes, Lord Orochimaru. Hot water to transform." A rustling sound was heard from the bathroom which led Jeen to think that it was clothing.
" Good. What should we do with the girl? She looks like she'd make a good test subject. I'm quite curious about this world." Kabuto's sighing was heard from the other room. Jeen chose that time to stop listening in and focus on the kittens below.
Zetsu stepped forward and scratched at Jeen's leg, trying to gain her attention.
" Oreo, what is it?" Zetsu frowned at his name.
" It's Zetsu, you little, ignorant-"
" The water bottles." White Zetsu interrupted, sending a short glare at his black side.
" What?" Jeen tilted her head and removed a piece of hair dangling in front of her eyes.
Zetsu sighed and padded over to the water bottles sitting in the corner. Jeen's eyes grew wide with realization and she got up slowly. Quietly, she tip toed over to them and reached for one. The Akatsuki's heads turned twards the doorway as Orochimaru, fully clothed, and Kabuto now stood, looking at Jeen.
" Don't you dare, girl."
" I warned you." As soon as Kabuto blinked Jeen uncapped the bottle of water. Orochimaru was behind her in a flash, holding her wrist so the water dropped onto the floor.
Itachi, being the quickest, and the smartest of the Akatsuki ( In my opinion ^^ Well, besides Pein or Madara of course), rushed over to the spilled water, rolling into it like a dog. A large poof of white smoke was seen and Itachi was then standing in the room, but totally naked.
" FOR JASHIN'S SAKE, THIS IS EXACTLY LIKE THOSE CHEESY FANFICTIONS! WHAT IS THIS? RANMA ½! DID YOU GUYS FALL INTO A CURSED LAKE OR WHAT!" She screeched.
It's short, I know, but seriously, if your good readers you'll understand that my summer has been busy. Going out of state soon and I want to be ready for that. But, my pretties, I'll make sure to write you four good chapters before I go, All of which I will write Tuesday/Tomorrow. Please give me some reviews!
Q. I still need opinions on who I should pair Jeen up with! But if you want a different question, here it is. If you could have one, JUST ONE, Akatsuki member in your house, who would it be, why, and what would you do with him/ konan?
A. I would put Deidara with her, but Itachi or Sasori sound cool to ^^. Sasori especially, but I can do Zetsu, Kisame, or even Hidan. Kakuzu...Not so much. I don't have a lot of practice with him. Pein...to awkward for me to write. It'd be more like an OOC. Madara...now that would be fun and challenging. YOU CHOOSE!
