Ok, I am very very sorry for the long wait. It's summer so I'm taking advantage and honing my artistic skills and shit. I also need to take care of the house because my parents aren't very functional lately. This is 8 pages long and it was a bitch to write so have fun reading it. If it seems awkward at times that just shows that I sucked at that part and that I ran out of ideas. You will survive. It's midnight here so I'm going to wrap it up because I get up at 8:30. Enjoy the chapter :).
Jeen and Madara slowly made their way towards the store, Jeen limping most of the way. She clutched at her stomach awkwardly at times, removing her hand quickly to avoid any unnecessary attention from the citizens around them and Madara. She didn't want any confrontations.
Madara took note of this and grew very agitated at the slow pace they had been going. He had known himself to be a very patient man, but he found this unbearable. So unbearable that he went to the trouble as to pushing her forwards with his arm to speed her up. Taking consideration of the amount of people around the he decided to just switch back to his Tobi persona to withdraw all of the curious stares.
"Jeen-chan, Tobi is getting really tired of walking slowly. Can we walk faster?" Jeen glared at the bipolar man before increasing her pace a little bit more. A sudden pain hit her hip and she almost fell. A group of girls walking by happened to catch this and came up to her, concern bordering their eyes.
"Are you alright miss?" One of the smaller girls asked, holding her hand out and helping Jeen up. Jeen nodded, forcing a gasp of pain back.
"Yes, thank you. I just fell down my stairs earlier and busted my side." She replied quietly. Madara shook his head.
"Liar…" He hissed under his breath. One of the girls lifted the corner of Jeen's shirt gasping. Madara didn't even blink at the sight. Being old has its downfalls every once in a while and he, in fact, had seen a few of those in his life time.
You get used to it after a while.
"Man that must be a bitch. You should see a doctor." Jeen shook her head and pulled her black shirt down.
"I'm okay, thanks. Now go before-,"
"Oh my god!" Jeen looked over her shoulder and at Madara who had been glomped by one of the three girls.
"It's a Tobi cosplayer! It looks sooo real, like, he is almost the real Tobi!" A great shock rippled through Madara as the girl awkwardly clung to him. Jeen sweat dropped and backed away from them, the other girls looking at her in confusion.
Bystanders even stopped to see what was going on.
Yeah, they were in deep shit.
The small groups of people looked at the seething Madara, flinching when he looked as if to explode.
"Uh, Madara-Sempai, don't hurt the little girl. Please?" The small girl that was clutching onto Madara's side looked up at the man and gave him the 'Nani?' look.
"TOBI LIKES GIRL-chan! Jeen-chan, can Tobi keep girl-chan?" Jeen, now out of shock, balled her fists up and glared at Tobi with a strong fire burning in her eyes.
"I'm going to f****** murder you, Tobi. I'll rip your head off and throw it into the ocean then I'd take you body and chuck it into a volcano in Hawaii! When I'm done with that, I would find your head again and hang it on my doorstep with the other unfortunate souls that had done that much to piss me off!" Jeen sprinted at Tobi, the girl at his side releasing instantly. Tobi squeaked and ran off, easily gaining distance between the two of them. The girls behind them stared off in confusion wondering how she could run after coming face to face with the ground.
Their confusion was then covered when she tripped over her own foot and fell onto her shoulders, crying out in pain.
"Mother F*****! Son of a bitch! That f****** hurt like hell! What the hell did I trip on damn it? ARGH, Tobi I'll f****** kill you, you bastard! You hear me?" The girls shook their heads.
"She's fine." One of them muttered, turning on her heels.
"Nice choice of words!" the other called, snickering.
Jeen pushed herself onto her feet and fell back onto her butt when she almost bumped into Madara.
"Let's hurry it up. Once we are done with your errand I can transport us back easily." He watched as she jumped up and dusted her small profile off dramatically. They continued on until they reached a small corner store off of one of the busiest streets around the town and entered.
Inside, it was dusty and dirty, cobwebs hanging off the ceiling and dust bunnies layering the floors. A bell went off as they entered.
"Oi, you better not want anything or I'll kill you bitches!" A voice hollered from the back room.
Madara's P.O.V
'Such a creative welcome.' I thought, making my way up to the counter behind the girl.
"Bitch, get your ass out here before I come and get it for you!" She shouted as she banged her hand on the counter bell.
The back door opened and I watched as two small females entered the dusty room. One was tall with short brown hair and green eyes. She was pretty thin. The girl next to her had blue eyes and orange hair, she was skinnier than the first but she didn't have as much detail either. Both boring females. This is going to be a long trip.
I leaned my weight on the counter and jumped back when it caved.
"Yeah, don't do that." The brunette scolded.
"Hey bitches, nice to see you again." Jeen cooed, patting the heads of them both.
"What's up whore?" The shorter orange headed one asked, taking a candy bar from one of the shelves of goods and opening it. I fiddled with a small device from the counter while watching them.
"Well, I have a secret to tell you, Melanie." The brunette, Melanie, smiled while the other glowered at Jeen.
"What about me?" the other asked.
"Be glad you're even a bitch with benefits, Talli." Talli frowned but laughed when Jeen had waved her over moments later. I watched as the three exchanged a secret with care, eventually looking over at me time to time.
Now they've got me curious. The three straightened up and marched over to me.
"Tobi wants to know the secret too!" I screamed.
Damn, I hate this persona. Just think of what I thought when I found out it earned me that much disrespect from everyone as it did from Deidara. Well, I'm not that dense to think that it would earn me any respect, I just thought it would earn me a bit more than I already have. The bastards. If only they knew who the real Tobi was. What would they think then? Hm? Jeen made her way over to me in a lazy manner, a large grin on her face.
Screw Tobi.
"What are you smiling at?" I growled.
"Come now, Tobi dear. That's not what you say to your friend." She snickered.
I raised a hand to pat her head and push her away from me. "Personal space. Ever heard of it?"
She shook her head and I rolled my eyes. "Nope! Now take off the mask." I flashed my Sharingan at her.
"Touch me and I will obliterate you." I said plainly. Jeen took another step forward and reached out. In a flash I had her pinned to the wall with her arm behind her back.
"I warned you. I am not as merciless as the others. You are just lucky Pein gave us orders not to kill you. Unfortunately." She hissed at me and I tightened grip. I looked at her friends who were just gawking at the scene. Talli stepped forward and picked up a piece of wood from the floor. Wood…? I looked behind Jeen and at the object I had pinned her against.
The large, mahogany shelf had crashed down and broken, the wood shattered and placed around the room. Several amounts of items had been sent crashing to the floor in a heap. The dust in the air didn't help the situation much either.
"You…" the one girl approached me. She loomed over me with her deathly shadow hanging over my head, her eyes filled with blood lust. "… destroyed… our shelves."
"What's so precious about them?" I asked, sarcasm dripping in my words. The aura in the room seemed to press against my throat at every second passing by making me very uncomfortable.
"What's so precious about it? Did you just ask me that f****** question, you bastard? You know how much that's gonna take to replace, huh? We're going to have to work now because of you! JEEN! Take him out of our shop, now!" A nervous laugh came from my throat as I let Jeen slide out of my grip, grab a package, and pull me out of the store.
Melanie stuck her head out of the door.
"Sorry about that Jeen! You can come back in a week or two when she's calmed down. I'll put those candy bars on your tab!" I rolled my eyes as she dragged me across the street and back into the park.
"Rule number one, don't make Talli mad. No matter who you are, she will kill you. Unwise of you Madara. I would have thought that you would have been smart enough to think it through." I grunted.
"And what would I be smart enough to think through?" I mused, taking in every sweet moment of annoyance I was getting from her posture.
"Underestimation. Don't underestimate your opponents even if they look like a powerless 20 year old woman. She will kick your ass anytime, anywhere. Now, let's get back, it's starting to rain again… damn it. What's with all the f****** rain today?" Rolling my eyes I followed her back through the park while listening to her idiotic stories of her childhood.
"…my mom was so nice. You probably would have hated her!" She said with a smile.
"If you think I would have hated her why do you tell me about her?" I sighed.
Jeen glared at me. "You're supposed to listen, not question. Fine then, tell me about your mother."
I frowned. "I'd rather not." We started to exit the park and into a small street, not close to her house. Not close at all.
"Why not?" I looked down at her innocent face. Her eyes were widely open and the corners of her mouth upturned into a smile. Her flesh was a pale white, almost the color of snow, and her wet black hair was stuck to the back of her shirt. I looked her in the eye, red meeting blue, and laughed.
"I choose not to. Simple. Since when do you care about my past life? You should know about it since you live in this world." She shook her head, but kept walking.
I noticed about halfway to her house that she was shivering like mad.
"You're going to get sick." I stated.
"Says who?" She glared at me.
"It's a fact, not an opinion."
"Since when do you care about my well-being?"
"I never said I did, Ren would kill me if I let you get sick." She stopped and I stopped after her shortly.
"What is it?" I asked, cocking my head to the side.
"I hear something."
I shook my head. "You're not even ninja, how can you hear something I can't?" I asked.
Turning her head, she smirked at me in a smug like manner. "Maybe it's because you can't learn to stop underestimating me?"
Now I was frustrated. This girl was mocking me… Being in a mad rush, I stepped forwards, slid through a puddle and fell on my back. "Ow… Tobi didn't like how that felt, Jeen-chan." I watched as she shook her head intently.
"So, now you change into Tobi?" She snickered at me, extending a hand for me to take. I'm a ninja, I can get up myself… but…
I reached out and took her hand, still acting like Tobi and rubbing my back.
"Jeen-chan~," I whined, "are we there yet?" She shook her head.
"Almost, Jashin, shut up Madara. What happened to the deep voice I miss it."
"What are you talking about, Jeen-chan? Tobi's been here this whole time!" I chuckled when I saw her rub her eyes in frustration. A cool breeze blew our faces and the rain came down harder, stinging our eyes.
"This storm is getting bad." She yelled towards me. We stopped again and she threw her hands up in frustration.
"You can teleport right?" I froze and nodded. Oh, crap. I know what's coming now.
"Then why the f*** are we here? Get us out of the rain and into my house!" She screeched, covering her head with her hands. I rolled my eyes and groaned.
"I can't believe you forgot that I could transport." She glared at me.
"And I can't believe you didn't remind me!" I held out my arm and she linked her elbow with mine. I concentrated my chakra and we were gone. We traveled warp speed through space and into portals. The normal squeezing motion was followed before we finally made our way into her living room. When I looked to my side, she was gasping for air and clutching at her stomach. I heard a scream and screamed.
"What! Tobi heard a scream! AH! We're gonna die!" Looking around I saw Ren run towards Jeen.
"Jeen! Didn't you take you pills today?" She half-screamed, fiddling around in Jeen's pockets. I watched as the girl fell to her knees in a coughing fit.
"Where'd you put your pills damn it? Point!" Ren screamed. Jeen lifted her hand and pointed at the sink where sure enough, a small bottle of pills. Ren rushed over and swiped the pills off the countertop, yanking the stopper off and pouring a couple into her palm. She grabbed a glass of water and rushed back over to the girl, shoving the pills into her mouth and pouring the water into her as well.
"Swallow! You need to swallow them!" She cried, her eyes welling with desperate tears. The rest of the Akatsuki members ran in to see what all the screaming was about, some were in pajamas.
"OI! What's wrong with the bitch, bitch?" Hidan yelled as he kneeled beside her. Deidara ran in at that moment and took one look at me before glaring.
"Tobi, what did you do to her?" He hissed, kneeling on Jeen's other side, feeling her head.
"Tobi, may I speak to you for a moment? Now." I looked up at Pein and Konan who were standing in front of me.
"Hai, Leader-Sama!" I skipped behind them only walking when we reached a point where all sight of us disappeared. Pein lead me into Jeen's room, gesturing me inside.
As he closed the door I removed the gloves from my hands and tossed them to the side.
"Madara, what did you do to that girl?" Konan asked, giving me a concerned glare.
"Nothing really, unless you count transportation something. Quit it with that glare, I told you now you can relax." They shook her head.
"The girl's sister was telling us about Jeen's medical condition when you two burst in. We didn't think of it serious until… well, that. Anyways, what's it like out there? Any new info? Did you see Orochimaru?" I rose my hand to stop his excessive talking, rubbing my temples when he did. Must everyone give me a headache today?
"First of all, they have advanced means of transportation. Something called a plane and a car, but just because they are more advanced doesn't mean they are faster. Although they might be faster, I have no clue. To answer your second question, no new info unless you count strange buildings and plants an answer. Orochimaru has been nowhere in our line of fire. There are weakling humans with no jutsu. That of all things surprised me most. Don't you find it odd?" I paused to look at their faces.
"Well, it makes sense I guess. We are in a different world. It's not like it would be the same as ours. Which makes me curious as to if they even know how to control chakra like us…? Don't you agree?" Pein asked, earning a nod from us.
"So, you wanna find out?" I asked, chuckling when they nodded once again.
"I should go check on Jeen." Konan muttered, swiftly turning away and walking out of the room. Pein followed shortly after and so did I. We made our way down the stairs and back into the living room where Jeen had conked out on the couch. Deidara, Hidan, and Konan were around her, Ren was pacing on the carpet.
"It's getting worse…" She kept muttering.
3rd person P.O.V
"What is getting worse?" Kakuzu asked, fiddling with the stitches on his arm.
"Her condition. When she was born she was diagnosed with a certain disease. They don't know what it is… really. It's something unknown. I guess you could compare it with Itachi's disease. She gets mad coughing fits and she gets severely weak. Weaker than you should get when you're sick. If the coughing gets really bad she coughs up blood and collapses. Fortunately… it wasn't that bad… although…" She raised her forearm to wipe a few tears. "It hurts to see her in pain. She's my little sister, and to think she's going to die sooner than most of her friends. It hurts…!" Hidan stepped over to pat her back.
"All the more reason to make her life fun while she has it." Itachi sighed; staring at the motionless body they called Jeen. Sasori made his way over to the pills and took a look at them.
"What are they made of?" He asked Ren, shaking them curiously.
"How the hell should I know? Sorry, I'm kinda stressed right now… their specially made for her, to stop the symptoms as soon as they start. Tobi, you're lucky she didn't have an attack while you guys were out." Tobi nodded enthusiastically and picked up a bag from the floor.
"Jeen-chan wanted to get these for Tobi's friends! She stole them too. Sempai, what's a tab?" Deidara face-palmed and took the bag from him, handing it to Kisame to taste.
He ripped the bag open and popped a brown orb into his mouth. "This stuff is good! It tastes like… chocolate?" Ren took the bag and put a handful into her mouth.
"Chocolate covered almonds! I asked for these two months ago…" Hidan made his way over and dug his hand into the large bag, pulling out a handful and shoving some into his mouth. The rest of the Akatsuki made their way over to the bag and eventually started wolfing it all down. Even Itachi came over. When Tobi started to take most of it and shove it up his mask Deidara screamed at him to stop hogging it all and hit him in the side of the head.
"Sempaiiiii! That hurt!" He whined, holding his head.
"Shut up you two and just enjoy it." Kakuzu hissed, snaking a piece into his mouth.
Ren quickly shoved the bag under her arm when the last quarter of it remained. The rowdy ones complained about it while the stoic ones just sat back down, kicking back to watch TV.
"The rest is for Jeen, bitches. So back off!" They heeded her warning and took to their spaces on the couch. Kakuzu snatched the remote and changed the channel to:
Naruto.
"Turn it off." Jeen moaned from the couch, startling everyone else.
"Woah! When the hell did you get up?" Hidan asked, patting her head.
"Just now. You guys are too loud. Ren, could you hand me that water please?" Ren did as told and handed Jeen the water, letting her chug it all down.
"How are you feeling?" Sasori asked, smacking Deidara in the head when he tried to take the remote again.
"Bad, shitty, sick. Just shut up for a moment while my head clears." They all nodded and they sat there for a little watching the new TV show picked out for them. Itachi started to read a book from the table, Kisame played with his fingers, Pein and Konan were talking, Tobi was sitting beside Jeen, and the rest were bored. Terribly bored.
"Well, I'm going." Ren said, getting up and leaving for the stairs.
"Goodnight." Jeen called.
"Night Ren-chan! Tobi loves you!" We heard a grunt from the stairs before it was silent.
"What is the point of this again?" Sasori asked, trying to plug his ears out from the theme song.
"It's Dora the Explorer. Do you not like it?" The members shook their heads in disgust.
"Good because it's a children's show." She huffed, changing the channel to WWE.
"Now this is good shit!" Hidan yelled, throwing his fist in the air when Bigshow was thrown off Triple-H's shoulder.
"Kick him in the face, un!" Deidara screamed.
"They can't hear you, idiots." Sasori sighed, picking up a book and starting to read.
"Yeah well, they're Pein's idiots." Jeen sighed and let a very bored expression take over her face. Looking at Kisame, who was fiddling with his oversized shirt, she came up with an idea.
"Kisame, I need you to help me really quick please." She asked, begging him over.
He got up and made his way to her seat. Jeen was very careful not to let anyone else hear her as she whispered in Kisame's ear.
"I want you to get Hidan at the top of the stairs somehow. I don't know how, just please get him up there. Please!" He shook his head, but got up and walked up to Hidan.
"OI! Fish F*****! Get out of the way!" Jeen got up and sprinted to the top of the stairs, hiding herself behind a door. Kisame then lifted his foot up and nailed Hidan between the legs, giving him a smack to the face.
"JASHIN, DAMMIT! Get back here fish f***!" Kisame sprinted around the couch and up the stairs and down the hall. Just as Hidan made his way to the top of the stairs she jumped into his path and made him stop.
"Get out of the way bitch!" He screamed. She took advantage of his stupidity and pointed behind him, gasping.
"Omigosh! Is that Jashin?" He flipped around and looked towards the kitchen.
"Where?" Jeen lifted her foot and slammed it into his back, pushing him down the stairs.
"Ow! F****!" He screamed when he finally reached the bottom, rubbing his skull and legs.
"What the hell was that?"
"A way of me telling you to shut up!" Jeen yelled at him. She strutted over to Kisame and kissed his cheek.
"Thank you, Kisa dear." She cooed as she made her way into her room, shutting door. Kisame nodded and chuckled at her methods, making his way down the hall again.
Once inside her room Jeen flopped down onto her bed.
"Zetsu." She called. "Are you there?" A loud swooshing sound could be heard and she lifted her head up slightly to see the large plant man now in her room.
"Hello, Jeen. What do you want? We're busy." Jeen nodded.
"I understand I just want to ask a favor. I'm sure you've been exploring and you know the park to the west of here?" He nodded.
"Yes, we do. Now hurry up. I'm getting hungry. Be nice. There's plenty of homeless. They taste gross." He hissed at himself. Jeen sighed and sat up straight.
"Every night around midnight, there is a group of boys there. I want you to keep an eye on them. They might try something on us. I don't want any trouble while you guys are here. Can you do that and report to me if you get anything suspicious?" Zetsu nodded.
"May we ask why they might try something? Can I eat them when you're done?" She shook her head.
"Maybe Zetsu. They might try something because I used to be the leader's friend until he got pissed. Today Madara and I encountered him and this is what they did to me." She lifted her shirt up slightly to show the large bruise on her stomach that had spread.
"That does look bad. I'm surprised Madara stopped them. Don't be surprised. He can be a good person when he cares to be. Hm."
Jeen shook her head.
"Bring me back some info please." Zetsu nodded and sunk into the floor.
Jeen groaned and rubbed her throat. It was raw and sore from her attack. She let out a cough and flopped onto her bed. This is going to be one hell of an experience.
You like? It was ok in my opinion.
FunFact: Madara calls Jeen girl most of the time because he doesn't want to acknowledge her as a person. Lol.
Question: Why did you guys pick Madara? ( not trying to be mean I would love to know, he's fun to write! :) )
Answer: I'd capture Deidara or Itachi and doom them to be with me for all eternity. Kidding! I'd keep them with me and force them to love me :3.
SotD: Goth Lolita By: Emilie Autumn. Ha, if you don't like creepy lyrics than this is not for you.
I tried to include more Madara action in this one as well as suspence. Don't blame me if it's awkward, I'm running out of ideas, but as soon as I get more social time with people I'm sure I'll have more. So, how are your summers going? At least 5 reviews or no chapter 10! Night night, Love you all my little pineapples!
