Hey guys! So, it's spring break! Yup! Enjoy this new chapter.
Hadder smiled at me when he pressed on the gas, ignoring the frantic screaming of Tobi in the back seat. "Shut up, Yeah!" Deidara yelled, covering his ears. Sasori rolled his eyes and leaned against the passenger's chair. In the very back of the car, Kisame, Itachi, and Kakuzu sat silently, an occasional foot tapping in beat to the beat of the loud music. Tobi yelled again and clutched onto my shoulders, encouraging a vivid blush to spread across my face. Hidan laughed loudly.
"You liking that, whore?" he snickered. I retaliated with a stomp on his foot and a punch to the jaw. "You liking that pain, old man?""Very much thank you." He replied, smirking. Ren smiled from the front seat. She sat on that type of overly small chair-like thing that stood in between the driver and passenger's seat. It was either that or sitting on Kakuzu's lap. Hadder said, and I quote, 'I'd rather have her sit on Sasori's lap.'
'She's sitting in the Middle.' Sasori said bluntly. I chuckled at the memory.
Tobi squeezed my shoulder and gave me a questioning glance through his mask. I shrugged at him and tapped his foot with mine. "I expect you all to behave. This is a public area. There will be no rough-housing with the others, killing, jutsus, chakra, fighting, or flipping." Hidan and Deidara cursed at me, frowning. The others just nodded and continued on with their multi conversations. "Jeen." I lifted my head to look at Itachi."Yeah?" I asked, twisting my body and using Madara's shoulder as leverage. "Where are we going?" his eyes pierced mine, he obviously did not trust me with the band of assassins in the car, no matter how long they'd been here.
At all.
"Dinner. Ever heard of a place called Red Robin?" Madara, being the dictatorial mastermind, pulled my arm off his shoulder. "No?" Hadder gasped. "It's only the best restaurant ever! Their fries are excellent." He slammed on the breaks, cursing when some idiot in a blue Chevy obstructed our path.
"Get out of the way, monkey dick!" He yelled out the window.
"Hadder!" Ren exclaimed, trying frantically to pull him back into the car. When he sat back down Hidan applauded.
"Nice." I whistled. He returned it with a smile.
From the middle row of seats, Pein threw a look at Hidan who shut up immediately, returning to looking out the window to his right. Deidara snickered and addressed his Danna. "Danna, un. Maybe you should try loosening up a bit, yeah?" Sasori grunted."Only light weighted, inexperienced artists such as yourself 'loosen up'." he replied, fiddling with a scroll he just happened to form earlier. "Art. Is. Eternal, un!" he yanked at Sasori's Slip Knot the Akatsuki chose their attire today, spare Sasori, Itachi, and Kakuzu who kindly asked for help claiming they'd rather not look like idiots. Madara approached Jeen secretly for help.
Hidan declared more than once that he was more than capable of dressing himself up, rather than having his 'mother', me I think, tell him what to do. I just rolled my eyes and left the room. Deidara looked….rather stupid. He had on a white T-shirt with light blue bell bottom jeans, a pair of green striped socks and brown sneakers. Ren snorted at him and offered to help, which ended with him in a pair of Cargos and a skin tight black T. Hidan actually looked fine, dark purple T-shirt, black plaid shorts, and a pair of grey sandals. Konan, however, looked rather gorgeous and being next to piercing Pein (lol) she looked badass. When we raided my closet of gothic attire, we found a black crop top decorated with decorative vines and curls, black cargos, a white rose hair clip, and a chain necklace. Badass. Me, however, chose to go simple. Black jeans, black lace up combat boots, black, fingerless gloves, and a purple V-neck Tee. Simple.
Now, I could go on forever on what the other Akatsuki wore, or I could just describe what happened when we got out of the car.
The parking lot was quiet, the dark sky shining with few stars, the fall chill biting at our flesh. Everyone had left the car.
"Is that it bitch?" Hidan yelled, groaning when Kakuzu punched him in the ribs."No fighting, and yes. That giant red bird is it." I chuckled. Kisame snickered."Why a giant red bird?" he asked, hands stuffed in his pockets. "Because birds are badass." I shrugged. "For all you know, this bird could be Jashin." Ren smiled. "Bullshit!" Hidan hissed. Kisame chuckled.
We started to make our way through the cars, weaving towards the building. Being fussy over parking spaces, we made sure to park as far away as possible. I don't know why, don't ask, ask anyone but me.
Madara stuck close to my side, his guard up, looking around."You guys need to relax! Stop being so paranoid." I exclaimed, getting a yell of approval from Hidan and Deidara along with careless Tobi. Bullshit.
"Might as well enjoy it." Pein sighed, wrapping an arm around Konan's shoulders. She gave him a small smile. However, Madara, Itachi, and Sasori kept their guards up. Pein as well, but he was more subtle about it. "Uptight bunch of ninjas." Hadder hissed, arm draped around Ren's shoulders. "Shut up, un." Deidara said pulling ahead of the crowd next to his Danna. Kakuzu lashed a thread out and strung it around Hidan's neck. "RAPE!" He yelled, getting the attention of several families, mother's covering their children's ears. I laughed.
"Calm down guys, c'mon. Have a little-" I stopped abruptly, searing pain crossing my arm. I looked down at the floor.
"Jeen!" Madara called, catching my waist and pulling me back. Ren yelled as Kakuzu pulled both her and Hadder away. Lodged in the asphalt:
Kunai's and paper bombs.
I yelled out and the others scattered as the bomb went off. Civilians rushed out of the area and to the sides.
Pein yelled out orders, Kakuzu taking Ren and Kisame grabbing Hadder. The impact of the blow sent us flying slightly, me still in the arms of Madara. Itachi returned fire, striking in I don't know what direction. He called out to Kisame and told him to stand guard around Ren and Hadder. Quickly, under the haze of the debris, Madara set me down behind a group of cars and instructed me to stay hidden. When the smoke cleared he sprinted into battle, followed by Kakuzu and Sasori, who brought out their weapons. From the sidelines, Ren yelled at them and pointed as Kabuto jumped down from the trees across the street. Cars on the main road, stopped to watch, traffic backing up from a fallen tree. Police sirens sounded in the distance. This was not good.
I stood up, disobeying orders and yelled out to Pein to hurry up and finish the job already, ears still ringing. Hidan and Kisame yelled at me and started in my direction. I froze and spun around.
"Hello again." to the sides, I heard Ren crying out, telling me to run, her voice frantic and pained. I turned on my heel and ran. In my head I knew I wouldn't get out, but I wanted to try. I couldn't live with not trying. Never again. Ren cried out again, her yells joined in with Madara's and Hidan's.
"No, none of that." My leg was swept out from under me and I crashed to the ground. I screamed and struggled as I was hauled up by my shirt, but my resistance proved nothing when everyone stopped in their tracks. By this time, I just wanted to die. Being held captive was not a good turn around.
Pein yelled out to me, but I couldn't hear anything. I heard shouts and I struggled to breathe, something pressing hard against my throat. My gloved clawed at a pair of strong arms, nails digging into the black leather. I called out to Ren, yelling at her to calm down, telling her I'd be fine. That's when my hearing fully returned.
"Shut up or she dies." my captive commanded. I coughed and struggled for air. If this kept up I would die.
"Who the fuck are you, and what do you want with the bitch?" Hidan yelled, pinning down a large man by the arm.
"That's none of your business, old man." I had to chuckle.
"Shut up!" my captor threw me to the ground. I coughed and sputtered, gasping for air. When I rolled over, I came face to face with the tip of a kunai.
"Don't move Jeen." Hadder called, his forehead beaded with sweat. My eyes widened when the man reached for me again, hauling me up by my hair. I cried out.
"Jeen!" Ren cried, tears streaming down her face.
"Now listen up!" The man yelled. "Either you back off and let us leave, or we'll leave her here to bleed out." Pein gritted his teeth, knowing he couldn't let them kill her. The Akatsuki backed off.
"Good. Now, you'll let us leave quietly, and I suggest you do the same." The sirens were getting louder.
Ren nodded. "He's right." I coughed.
Madara's fists clenched at his sides. "I'll be fine! Get out of here now!" I yelled, my face twisted into a look of agony and anger. I gave Madara a pleading look.
"Go!" Pein nodded, in agreement.
"Let's get out of here." he said loud enough for everyone to hear. Ren yelled out.
"NO! JEEN!" Hadder pulled her back and held her arms behind her as she struggled to get to me. I hung my head as low as possible with my hair being yanked.
"NO!" She yelled again, but when I looked up at Kakuzu and silently begged him to help, he complied. His hand flew out and nailed Ren in the neck. She fell forward and the two men caught her. They started to file out, Madara the last to leave. Jeen knew that neither of the Uchiha protégés made eye contact with the enemy, who probably knew all about their special eye techniques from Kabuto.
"You better live." Madara said pointedly at me. I nodded.
"Make sure to get my postcard." I said with a smirk. He chuckled and backed away, jumping into the trees and following the rest of the Akatsuki. My heart sank.
The man hauled me to my full height, jabbing a thumb into my open wound.
I let out a blood curdling scream, people on the side lines yelling out and approaching. From a distance, even the Akatsuki could hear her scream. Hadder winced.
"Now, Jeen. Your going to come with us or we're going to make it harder for you to see the light of day. Let alone see your friends again." He yanked me along and hauled me over his shoulder, jumping into the trees and traveling after the rest of his ninja subordinates along with the bastard Kabuto. I groaned, my arm throbbing and blood soaking through my purple Tee.
Why are we the only ones being targeted?
Ok, so this sucked, I know. My bad. I did this in a sort of a rush today, since I had nothing to do for the last four hours.
Answer: Apparently, a lot of you guys are still in school. WOOH! So am I
