Hi guys! I'm really sorry for the lack of updates in like 4 years, I've had a lot going on but I'm hopefully going to start updating at least once a week. Thank you all for your lovely reviews! xx

It was a Wednesday morning and Guinevere was standing at her locker, staring blankly into the space within. She'd skipped English that afternoon, she'd never skipped a lesson before in her life, but she knew she couldn't face sitting next to Arthur and attempting to make small talk for the whole lesson.

To say that she was conflicted was an understatement. In some ways, she understood why he was the way he was, after all, if she has lost someone in such a way, no doubt she would be exactly the same. But at the same time, that didn't give him the right to lead her on and then leave her confused and unknowing.

She only snapped out of her thoughts when Morgana bounded happily towards her and leaned against the locker next to her with a broad smile.

"Are you going to that party tonight?" Morgana asked, her green eyes gleaming. Gwen gave out a small smile and a shrug. "I'm not really sure if it's my scene, I'd rather stay home." She murmured, turning to shut the door of her locker once she'd collected her belongings.

"Well, you're coming, you can be my plus 1." Morgana chirped, beaming happily. "What about Merlin?" Gwen inquired, turning towards her friend. "He's got his own invite, so you can be my plus one. Pick you up at 8!" She exclaimed before turning away and walking back down the corridor that she had come from.

Before she knew it, Gwen was surrounded by people, loud music and the strong stench of alcohol and regret, that was beginning to make her head hurt. Either that, or it was the four Vodka and Lime Sodas that she'd drank since they arrived. Swallowing, Gwen let her eyes scan the room and spotted Morgana and Merlin dancing in the middle of a crowd of people, obviously as intoxicated as she was.

She'd opted for tight dark black skinny jeans, black heeled boots, and a dark red top that showed off a bit of cleavage, along with her leather jacket. She'd put on a bit more make up than usual, and her lip colour matched the dark red of her top.

Deciding that she needed some air, Gwen pushed past the crowd around her and somehow managed to make it into what she assumed was the back garden. She perched herself on the small wall that framed the patio and breathed out a small sigh, why has she even decided to come to this stupid party? She knew that she didn't really want to be here, she'd rather be at home, even if that did mean dwelling on her thoughts of Arthur. Part of her had him hoping to see him, yet the other part of her couldn't think of anything worse.

Just as the thought crossed her mind, she heard a familiar voice. "You don't look so good." Arthur stated before sitting himself down on the wall next to her.
