Hey guys! I know it's been a while since I actually updated this story. It has been on my mind and I have been working out how I want to go about it. I know a lot of you are fans of my other stories and within the next few days I will be updating those as well. I appreciate your patience and continued support. I hope you guys like it! Enjoy!

"Awake?" Stef sleepily whispers into Lena ear, her hand running up her partners side. Lena smiles in her sleep and flips on to her back.
"Why do you ask?" Lena whispers and Stef presses her lips against Lena's.
"Just asking." Stef whispers against her lips. Lena smiles and lifts herself up slightly to press a kiss against Stef's shoulder. Stef closes her eyes and Allows Lena to kiss up from her shoulder all the way to her lips.
"I'm up." Lena whispers against Stef's lips. Stef returns the kiss and lays Lena back down. Stef breathes in Lena as she starts to kiss her neck, making sure not to miss one spot. Lena sighs out, her body starting to wake up and react to everyone of Stef's moves. Lena runs her hand through Stef's hair and Stef continues to kiss Lena, every kiss igniting a fire deep within Lena's core. Lena starts to pull at Stef's shirt. Stef is quick to comply as she lifts her shirt off. Lena looks at her and can't help but to smile.
"What?" Stef asks after taking in Lena's face.
"Don't Stop." Lena responds and Stef smiles and pulls Lena's sleep shorts down and holds back a moan as she leans down and runs her face along Lena's dripping core. Lena's back arches and she moans out quietly.
"Mommy!" Lena's head snaps up as soon as she hears the tiny voice.
"Stef" Lena whispers. The whisper quickly turns into a moan as she tries to sit up, but that only brings her closer to Stef's mouth.
"If we are quiet, they won't bother us. You parents won't let them." The one thing Stef was actually excited about on this trip was the tiny bit of privacy they would be allowed. Lena's family would be so excited to spend time with the twins, leaving Lena and Stef to be alone.
"When has that ever worked." Lena slides from the bed and stands up. She pulls up her shorts, her wetness making her uncomfortable. Stef turns over in bed and lays on her back. She sighs as Lena pulls on new underwear and shorts. Damn how she wishes she was that underwear.
"Mommy!" Lena yanks open the door and two blurs run pass her and up onto the bed. She hears Stef groan and laugh as she turns and smiles at the picture. Both Callie and Caleb manage to sit on top if Stef. Stef holds on to their tiny bodies as they recount the early walk with Lena's parents.
"We petted the horses!" Callie says and Lena walks over to the bed. Caleb looks over at her and lifts his arms up. Lena picks him up and kisses the side of his head.
"Sounds like you guys had fun." Stef says. The twins nod in agreement and Lena smiles.
"Have you guys eaten." They shake their heads
"Gramma and Papa said we go to eat." Caleb says as he plays with one of Lena's curls.
"Oh really." Lena smirks at Stef. She knows her parents all too well. She knows that she and Stef will have to get creative if they want actual alone time. With her brother and sister here with their families, this is going to make for an interesting solution to their very frustrating problem.
"Well we better get dressed." Stef sits up and holds Callie against her.

Lena walks out of her room and starts to head toward the kitchen. She was dressed in a long floral dress, her hair was pinned up and away from her face, and flats to complete the look. She has given up on heels since the twins were able to walk. Something about trying to chase after a toddler 5 inches higher than your normal height. Before she is able to reach the kitchen, she bumps right into her sister Maggie.
"Oh." Lena says as she places her hands on Maggie's arms trying to stabilize the both of them.
"I am so sorry." Maggie says as she sets down her cell phone and looks at Lena. "I was not paying attention." Lena smirks at her younger sister and removes her hands.
"It's ok, really." Maggie and Lena stand awkwardly in the hall way for a minute before Lena moves to step to the side and continue to the kitchen.
"Lena wait." Maggie steps in her sister's path and Lena looks at her. "I just want to apologize." Maggie says. Lena looks straight into her sister's eyes before breaking the contact.
"Maggie, I don't want to do this. Not today, ok?" Lena says before trying to move again.
"Then when Lena, because it's starting to feel like it's going to be never." Maggie says again moving to block her.
"Maybe because that what I want Maggie. Why don't you take a minute and thing about what I want, for once. I don't want to do this." Lena says.
"Are you ever going to forgive me, or is this what it's going to be. Awkward holidays, trying not to be in the same room with me for too long."
"Who said anything about holidays? I don't want this." Lena gestures between her and Maggie. "I barely want to be here." Lena turns on her heel and comes face to face with her father and her son. Caleb is looking up at his grandfather and Stuart has a devastated look on his face.
"Dad-" Lena starts before Stuart hands Caleb's hand over to her and walks out quickly. Lena sighs and looks down at her son. She knows exactly how her dad feels. She would feel the same if her own kids said they didn't want to be with her.
"Dammit."

"Mommy." Callie says and Stef looks up from her phone and looks at her little girl.
"Yes baby?" Stef sets her phone down and Callie steps closer to her.
"Were we a mistake?" Callie asks. Stef is immediately caught off guard and blinks before touching her daughters face.
"Where would you go get an idea like that?" Stef asks and Callie shrug's. Stef studies her carefully and pulls her daughter into her arms. "You and Caleb are the greatest thing mama and I have achieved." Stef says before kissing her head and looking down at her mirroring eyes. She loves this little human more than she can even describe into words.
"Mommy." Stef looks up and sees Caleb standing at the door.
"Hey baby, where's mama." Caleb points outside and Stef stands up and sets Callie down before walking out the room and to the front door. It was swung open and she steps outside and looks down the driveway where she sees her wife standing. Her dress was flowing softly with the wind.
"Hey, why don't you guys go find your cousins?" Stef suggests as she turns to look at her little people. Callie nods and takes Caleb's hand before walking further into the house. Stef gently shuts the door and walks down the drive way. She stands right next to Lena close enough to feel her warmth but not touching. She wants Lena to make the move. After years of walking through this feeling with Lena she has learned a trick or two.
"You're thinking about her." Stef says. No accusations, no jealousy, and absolutely no judgement.
"Every time I see Maggie, every time I see this house, this street... this.. Place." Lena gestures around her. "They go in that house and pretend it never happened. Like the world hasn't happened." Stef stands and watches as her wife works through every emotion that fills her body. Stef knew this would happen and that exactly why she wanted to come, why she pushed Lena to come. It wasn't just about reconnecting, it was about letting go. Lena finally makes eye contact with Stef.
"I can't do this Stef, I can't." Lena starts to walk away and Stef tries to gently stop her but loses as Lena walks right by her. Stef stands for what seems like seconds, but when she looks up Lena's brother Matt is standing right next to her. Both looking at the horizon.
"She is never going to forgive herself." Matt says and Stef looks at him.
"That what I'm afraid of." Stef says. She touches Matt's arm before turning to walk back up the drive way. Matt lingers for a second before following Stef.
