"Lexi wake up my love your phone is ringing" Kol whispers in a half awake half sleeping Lexis ear.
"Someone better be dying." Lexi grumbles as she picks it up.
"Lexi what took you so long?" Damon complained as soon as she put the phone to her ear.
"Why good morning Damon what an unwelcome surprise; now what do you want?" Lexi said while Kol gave her a quick kiss on the cheek before leaving the room to go take a shower.
"We found Katherine and Percy thought you'd like to come with us to confront them." Damon said.
"Where do I meet you?"
"At our place and please don't bring your little bodyguard along."
"I don't need Kol to protect me but he might need to protect you from me if I find out you had anything to do with letting Katherine go." Lexi said jumping out of bed and changing.
"Why would have let that bitch out?"
"Because you and said bitch have history and you have a problem with controlling your emotions when it comes to woman." Lexi said putting the phone on loud speaker so she could pull her shirt over her head.
"Don't worry about my emotions over powering me sweetheart." Damon said before hanging up.
"That was a very polite conversation." Kol said walking out with just a towel around his waist.
"Ya well we don't always get along…. I have to go but I'll be back soon." Lexi said grabbing her bag and kissing on the cheek.
"Be careful my love." Kol said before she walked out of the door.
"Hello, anyone here?" Lexi asked as she opened the door to the boarding house.
"Lexi." Stefan grinned running over to Lexi and hugging her.
"Hey Stef." Lexi said welcoming the hug.
"I'm really, really sorry about not telling you that …" Stefan was cut off when Lexi put her hand over his mouth.
"I forgive you." Lexi said.
"Thanks Lexi." Stefan said when Lexi removed her hand.
"Now where's your idiot brother?" Lexi asked as she walked further into the house.
"Nice to see you too, Lexi." Damon said walking down the stairs.
"Where are they?"
"No polite chit-chat…." Lexi ran across the room and pinned Damon to the wall.
"No there won't be chit-chat so where are they, Damon?"
"In a little cottage in the woods I'll show you where." Damon said.
"Great let's go." Lexi said letting Damon fall to the ground.
"I'll go get the car." Stefan said walking away.
"So how….." Lexi was suddenly shoved against the opposite wall.
"Don't think for a second that just because you're my baby brother's bestie I will hesitate when ripping your head off remember." Damon threatened.
"Okay just one problem." Lexi said grabbing him and throwing him against the opposite wall.
"I'm over three centuries old Damon; you are a baby compared to me so be very careful."
"Okay what's got you so wound up?" Damon asked getting up.
"Maybe because just one of my dearest and closest friends ditching and betraying me for your crazy ex girlfriend."
"Katherine does that to people don't let it upset you if she see's that is how it is hurting you; she'll know how to get to you."
"Thanks I'll keep that in mind."
"Let's go get ourselves a crazy ex." Damon said slipping on his jacket as they hear Stefan hooting from the car,
"How do you guys want to go about this?" Lexi asked as she, Stefan and Damon are crouching in one of the bushes.
"Well I say we storm in and kill them both." Damon says.
"WE aren't going to kill Percy, Damon." Lexi and I say at that same time.
"Fine then let's kill Katherine…" Damon suggests.
"Damon we aren't killing either of them no matter how much I might want to." Lexi said.
"Do you have a plan, Lexi?" Stefan asks.
"Yes I do."
"And what might that be?"
"We are going to walk right in."
"That's your plan…surrender?" Damon asks.
"No Damon. You and Stef are going to give yourselves up… well I'm going to sneak in threw the back." Lexi explained.
"That's your plan it's stupid." Damon scoffed.
"Actually that's a brilliant plan." Charles says appearing behind Damon and smirks down at him.
"What are you doing here?" Stefan said.
"Well Lexi said you guys could use some back up so here I am." Charles explained before walking over to Lexi and giving her a hug.
"Why would you come just because Lexi said we might need help?" Damon asked.
"Because Lexi and I are family and we protect each other." Charles explained before looking at the house in front of them.
"So the plan is you two distract and we'll sneak in the back." Lexi said before she and Charles "whooshed" off.
"There is something about that guy that I don't like or trust." Damon asked as they opened the front door.
"Don't be ridiculous Damon."
"Klaus we need to talk." Kol said walking into his study to find his brother sitting on a chair and drawing.
"Yes Kol what is it?"
"I just want to talk to you about Lexi." Kol said taking a seat on one of the chairs.
"Ahh Alexia lovely girl… what about her do you wish to discuss about her?" Klaus asked putting his sketch down on the couch next to him.
"She is lovely yes but there is something you have to remember Klaus."
"And what would that be?"
"She is with me." Kol said.
"Yes I'm aware that we are in a completely relationship brother…. But what's wrong with a little competition."Klaus asked smiling at his brother.
"There is no competition… she is with me and I plan to ask to be mine tonight."
"You wouldn't be here if you were sure she'd say yes to you Kol."
"I'm sure she will I'm only telling you so you doing make an idiot out of yourself when you seem to try and win her over."
"I won't be making an idiot out of myself brother… merely let her know she has other options."
"Why must you always destroy any chance that I might have of being happy?"
"Because Kol you always seem to do something to screw up your happiness and I happen to like Alexia and I don't want her to end up like all those other woman you have been with." Klaus explained getting up and pouring himself a drink.
"I am trying to be better for her but I'm afraid I did something I shouldn't have but it was for everyone's good." Kol said running his hand threw his hair.
"Oh brother what have you done now?" Klaus asked just as Lexi came storming into the room.
"What did you do?" Lexi yelled at Kol.
"He was planning on letting Silas rise." Kol said like it was obvious.
"He was one of my closest friends, Kol."
"He is just a vampire he isn't important Lexi…. You're over reacting."
"Don't you dare tell me I'm reacting…. You killed him!" Lexi yelled.
"I didn't because of Silas and because he betrayed you… I thought you'd be happy." Kol said. What happened next surprise everyone in the room. Lexi slapped Kol across the face. Kol looked completely shocked before he became angry.
"He would just have hurt you again and I won't allow that to happen."Kol growled.
"I don't need you to protect me Kol…. I'm going back to the boarding house." Lexi said walked out of the room.
"And I have to say it… I told you so." Klaus said before taking a sip of his drink.
Lexi was busy lying on her bed when there was a knock on her window when she looked up she looked right into the face of a smiling Klaus. Sighing to herself, she walked over to the window and opened in.
"You know there is a huge door downstairs for a reason." Lexi said as Klaus climbed threw her window.
"I know but this is much more interesting and fun." Klaus said taking a seat on her bed.
"What do you want, Klaus?" Lexi asked taking a seat next to Klaus.
"I'm to talk to you about Kol."
"There is nothing to talk about." Lexi said.
"My brother has developed the nasty habit of hurting the people he cares about." Klaus said staring at the floor.
"Kol doesn't care about me Klaus… he might like me but it's all purely platonic."
"That's not true." Klaus said looking into Lexi eyes.
"Why would you want me to forgive Kol?"
"He is my brother…. Because I know he feels for you deep down."
"He killed one of my oldest friends…. Percy and I have known each other for three centuries."
"And I know he feels absolutely horrible about it… he thought he was going the right thing by killing him; he wanted to protect you." Klaus said.
"I don't know what to…" Lexi said looking back into Klaus's eyes.
"Forgive my brother please Lexi… when Kol is upset he acts worse then he usually does." Klaus whispered.
"I don't know if I can Klaus." Lexi whispered back.
"Lexi you will forgive Kol for killing Percy he did it for you and you just want to be with him no matter what anyone tells." Klaus said making eye contact with Lexi.
"No Klaus please….." Klaus's pupils dilated and Lexi was affected by the compulsion.
"What are you going to do now Alexia?" Klaus said leaning.
"I'm going to forgive Kol; he killed Percy to protect me." Lexi said smiling at Klaus.
"I think that is a wonderful idea." Klaus said smiling back.
"Thanks for talking to me about Kol help me understand." Lexi said throwing her arms around Klaus's shoulders and hugging him.
"You are very welcome Alexia." Klaus said. She is Kol's girl but why do I get this warming feeling in my stomach when she smiles at me…Klaus thought as her jumped out of the window again.
Alternative Ending:
Klaus's POV:
I knock on the window and Lexi walks over and opens it.
"If you are to get me to forgive Kol you better leave now." Lexi said and I climb thru the window.
"I told my brother that is why I came here." Klaus said sitting down on Lexis bed.
"Then why are you here really?"
"To see if you're okay." Klaus said not meeting her eyes.
"You came all this way to check on me?" Lexi asked sitting down on the bed next to Klaus.
"Yes."
"Why?"
"I …. Don't know…" Klaus said looking into Lexis eyes.
"Yes you do."
"Maybe I do but it doesn't matter you with my brother."
"Its complicated." Lexi said and before I even knew what he was doing I am leaning forward and planted a kiss on Lexis lips. I don't know what is wrong with me I am attracted to Caroline but Alexia is making me feel things for her that I haven't felt in a really long time. She is dating Kol and I think a part of her cares about him so why do I allow myself to feel these things for her. The kiss was a sweet kiss but after two seconds they both pulled anyway.
"I should umm be going goodnight." I said as I jump out of the window.
A/N: SO there were a few things that happened in this chapter… I had to have Kol do something that would show he is still the insane monster he is described as but he is also has a good side. Who do you guys like better with Lexi Kol and Klaus? Please let me know what you guys think! As you can see I wrote two kinds of endings for this chapter which do you prefer?
