Chapter 15: I'll be your vampire.
A/N For the few chapters I wanted to show people what kind of relationship Kol/Lexi or Klaus/Lexi will have and then people can choose which one they prefer. And for all the Elijah fans (myself included) I didn't want to make a relationship between Lexi and Elijah because I think they'll have more of a brother/ sister relationship and I don't see them as a couple. Anyway here is the chapter hope that the readers enjoy it x – Love F.F.

Klaus's POV:
I woke up thinking about last night. It was very wrong; Lexi was Kol's girlfriend and he was my brother. The kiss was a huge mistake but I wouldn't take it back. I can't say I feel nothing for carline but she is still in love with Tyler and what I feel for Lexi is different. I don't even know what I feel for her…. This is very frustrating. My thoughts were interrupted by someone knocking on my door.
"What?" I say as Rebbekah walks into the room.
"Where did you go last night?" she asked walking to my curtains and pushing them open.
"I went to go try and fix Kol's relationship because he is an idiot and won't admit that killing her friend was stupid." I mutter staring at my roof.
"Well that is awfully kind of you Nik…. Now do tell me what you're up too." Rebbekah says.
"What in the world are you doing on about now sister?"
"I'm talking about you being nice to Lexi and wanting to help Kol with his relation issues…. You never do anything unless you can benefit from it in some way or another."
"I am not doing anything other than trying to keep my brother from ruining another good person."
"I don't believe you Nik but it that is what you are going to go with then I'll accept it." Rebekah said before turning on her heal and walking out of the room.
"Lexi are you awake."
"No go away" Lexi yells back at Stefan threw the door.
"There is someone here to see you."
"Who is it? Tell them to go away."
"It's Kol, Lexi; he says he really needs to speak with you."
"Uggg fine please give me three minutes then send him up."
"Ok I'll go tell him."
Three minutes later Lexi had made her bed and changed into a pair of jeans and a blue t-shirt. She was busy sitting by the window when there was a knock on the door.
"Who is it?"
"It's me." Kol said threw the door.
"Ohh come on in."
"Good morning, Lexi." Kol said after he walked into the room and closed the door behind him.
"Why are you here Kol?" Lexi asked looking of the window again.
"I want to apologize."
"You killed one of my closest and oldest friend and you think a simple apology will make me forgive you."
"I know what I did was wasn't the appropriate way to have handled the situation but I am deep down a monster." Kol said sitting down on the corner of Lexis bed.
"I didn't know that there was a side of you who would just go around murdering innocent people."
"Who of us are really innocent anymore?"
"Percy was…. He was a good man."
"He was working with Katharina to destroy you all and find the cure; I was protecting the two things that mean the most to me." Kol said getting and sitting down next to Lexi.
"Katherine got away Kol; all did was kill my friend."
"TO PROTECT YOU AND MY FAMILY!" Kol yelled in frustration.
"Me?" Lexi said in disbelief looking at Kol.
"Yes you mean more to me then I am willing to admit to myself never mind to anyone else." Kol said slowly.
"What are you saying Kol? You did this because you care about me?"
"I did it because I think…." Kol started to say but was interrupted by the door flying open.
"Aww am I interrupting anything?" Damon asked as he walks into the room.
"Damon; what do you want?" Lexi asked looking up at him.
"Good morning to you too miss sunshine." Damon said appearing on Lexis bed.
"You are interrupting us Damon." Kol said standing up.
"Lexi would you tell your little boyfriend to calm down; I need to talk to you." Damon said in a bored voice.
"What do you want to talk about Damon?" Lexi asked.
"It's a private conversation Lexi." Damon said looking at Kol.
"I' am not leaving." Kol said determinedly.
"Kol please just go I'll come by your place later to talk." Lexi said opening the door for Kol.
"You promise that you will come see me later." Kol whispered in Lexi's ear.
"I promise." Lexi replied.
"Very well I shall see you later." Kol said kissing Lexi's hand before walking out of the room.
"Well I thought he would never leave." Damon said grinning at Lexi.
"You could've been a little more subtle about kicking him out Damon." Lexi said rolling her eyes at Damon.
"Well I was just being me otherwise he would notice we were up to something." Damon said as Lexi sat down next to him.
"That is true…. So have we made progress?"
"Yes we know where it is."
"Really? How?" Lexi asked.
"Jeremy…. We have the map to the cure."
"When do we leave?"
"Tomorrow morning…. Think you can make peace with your boyfriends before then.?" Damon asked looking at Lexi.
"Boyfriends…. Why plural?"
"Well Kol and his brother." Damon said.
"Damon…."
"You are going to have to make up your mind because if Kol finds out then they will both turn on you and that won't help us at all."
"I know but Klaus surprised me…."
"You can't actually be thinking about go for Klaus instead of Kol?"
"I'm not…. Just have to tell Klaus that last night was a mistake."
"You don't seem so upset about it though."
"I am not discussing this with you … what should I tell them about where we are going."
"Tell them you have to take a break from everyone and everything and I'm just coming with you."
"Actually I do need a break from all this craziness."
"When we get back; we can go where ever you want."
"Very funny Damon." Lexi said leaning down.
"I'm serious we can go where ever you want even bring Stefan with have a road trip."
"Sounds nice Damon." Lexi said.
" I am sorry about Percy, Lexi." Damon said looking at Lexi.
"Thank you Damon just feel like everyone I care about will end up leaving me."
"You'll always have Stefan and even me Lexi."
"Thanks Damon ." Lexi said look at Damon.
"Anyway I better go and see Kol and Klaus."
"Good luck."
Lexi got out of her car and stood in front of the Mikaelson's house. After taking a breath she knocked on the door.
"Evening Alexia." Klaus said opening the door and holding it open for her.
"Hello Klaus is your brother here?"
"He will be back soon our brother Elijah took with to go deal with some sort of problem which appeared." Klaus said walking into the living room and going to stand by the fire place.
"Well I suppose I will wait for him then." Lexi said taking a seat on one of the couches.
"Would you like something to drink?"
"I would love one."
"Here you go." Klaus said handing Lexi a glass and sitting down opposite her.
"Thank you." Lexi said before taking a sip.
"Alexia I have to…"
"Its alright Klaus is was a mistake."
"What if it wasn't though?" Klaus asked causing Lexi to look at him.
"I am with your brother Klaus… you know that."
"I know you are."
"Then why would you say that?"
"I had my reasons."
"What are they Klaus?"
"To see if you would argue with me."
"I did."
"No Lexi you said you were with my brother; you never argued saying I was imagining it." Klaus said taking a sip from him drink without breaking eye contact with Lexi.
I hope you enjoyed the chapter sorry for taking so long was moving and then got sick and started work so didn't have a lot of time. Next update is next week the 23rd at the latest.
