Chapter 30:
Jeremy woke up to find that Bonnie was not next him anymore. We had gone to sleep late because Bonnie wanted to try and figure out who cast the spell and how to remove it.
"Bonnie are you in here?" Jeremy asked waking into her grans room and finding Bonnie surrounded by books.
"What in the world happened here did the book case explode?" Jeremy asked walking into the room.
"Hey, no I have just been up for the last 3 hours trying to find a way to reverse the spell." Bonnie explained.
"Bon, you have to get some sleep you won't be able to do anything." Jeremy said walking over to Bonnie.
"I have to find out who cast the spell in the first place." Bonnie said refusing to move.
"I know you will be able to do both but not when you're exhausted; please go sleep for a few hours." Jeremy pleaded.
"But I have too much to do."
"I understand that you feel you need to fix everything as soon as you can but you can't do anything if you don't sleep first." Jeremy said.
"Okay I'll go sleep for a few hours but please wake me if I've been sleep for more than six hours."
"I promise I will." Jeremy said leading Bonnie out of the room.
Four hours later Jeremy, Stefan and Caroline were in grans room everyone bent over their own books.
"Well what about this one?" Caroline asked point at a page in her book.
"That's only if you have transformed into something or someone else; it won't work." Jeremy explained.
"You sure know a lot about magic." Stefan said while paging threw a new book.
"I have picked up a few things and it helps when your girlfriend is a witch." Jeremy replied tossing a book on the bed and grabbing a new one.
"I'm glad things turned out the way it did between you two; you look very happy together." Caroline said.
"We are happy together." Jeremy said smiling at Caroline.
"Yes we are." Bonnie said walking into the room.
"Hey Bonnie how you feeling now?" Caroline asked walking over to Bonnie and hugging her.
"Hey, I'm feeling a lot better thanks for letting me to get some sleep." Bonnie said smiling at Jeremy.
"You are very welcome." Jeremy said smiling back.
"Hey Bon what does this spell do?" Stefan asked handing Bonnie the book he was reading through.
"Well it a very powerful spell." Bonnie said before reading the page.
"What does it say?" Caroline asked after a while.
"It's a tracking spell but invenire mittens alica which in latin translates to the to find the caster of the spell." Bonnie said not moving her eyes from the page.
"So do you think that you would be able to find the person who put this spell on me?" Caroline asked.
"I'm not a hundred percent sure but I think that I might just be able to." Bonnie asked moving the table where Jeremy was standing,
"What does the spell need?" Stefan asked.
"Well before I can attempt the spell I will need to translate it; it dangerous to just do a spell without understanding it completely." Bonnie explained sitting down in the chair that Jeremy had offered.
"Is there anything we can do to help?" Asked Caroline
"No there isn't much else to do at the moment I will let you know as soon asi am done." Bonnie explained.
"I'll stay and help; I can speak Latin so I might be helpful." Stefan said sitting down next to Bonnie.
"You never told me that." Bonnie said looking at Stefan.
"It never came up, it's a dead language." Stefan said.
"Well we will go and make some coffee while you two get started." Caroline said grabbing Jeremy and pulling him out of the door.
"What are you still doing here?" Klaus asked walking into the kitchen and finding Lucy and his sister having lunch.
"I asked her to stay over last night seeing as you weren't going to, clearly forgetting your manners." Rebekah explained.
"Your sister has been most hospitable to me and I'm very grateful for it." Lucy smiling warmly at Rebekah.
"I will give you two a minute to talk; don't be an ass though I like her." Rebekah said before excusing herself.
"What game are you playing here?" Klaus asked as soon as Rebekah left the room.
"Not everyone is always playing a game Klaus."
"Tell me now or I'll…"
"You'll what? Kill me? You wont because if you do I will tell you sister everything."
"So you are using her then?" Klaus asked pouring himself a drink.
"No I am not; she has a kind heart and has shown me kindness even though she knows what I am."
"You're a witch."
"Yes but it might surprise you but many people aren't fond of my kind." Lucy explained playing with the necklace around her neck.
"So what you are just going to stay and remain friends with my sister until you decide it is time to move on; you have a job to finish.
"You must be in a lot of pain." Lucy said not answering his question.
"Why would you say that?"
"I can see it in your eyes; you are resentful towards your brother and you hate yourself but you must release that what you want me to do is wrong."
"It is necessary." Klaus said.
"There will be nothing left of you if I do this; it will destroy everything you care about."
"I don't have much left to lose."
"And what of your family and the girl who you dream of?" Lucy asked.
"What do you know of her" Klaus asked turning to look at the witch.
"I know than you give me credit for; your sister told me about her."
"Then you know what I am trying to do it for her."
"Yes but at what cost?"
"I will pay the price I have to."
"She will not love you if you do this!" Lucy exclaimed in frustration.
"I don't do this so she will love me; I do it so she will be happy." Klaus said taking a sip of his drink not taking his eyes off of Lucy.
