"Well, looks like you finally found your way here." said an obnoxious grimy looking beard.

"Oh, sorry were you waiting long?" I said in an apologetic manor, "I just bumped into a resident Hogwarts student and talked to her for a little bit, she seemed very nice."

The old man's eyes twinkled in excitement. "I suppose you're here for your first wand then." Without waiting for my reply, he began bustling around the shop and removing narrow boxes from their space on the shelves. "Try this." The grey beard commanded. I delicately grasped a smooth ebony wand, my velvety fingers started to burn at the very contact of the wand. I screw my face up in pain and place the wand back with haste as to not drop the fiery dark wand.

"Definitely not." The beard snapped taking another shoe box from the space behind him and removed the dust jacket. "Perhaps," spinning around on his heels to face me, "this."

As the store owner unveiled the lid of the box a warm, golden brown wand was revealed; at the same time a sudden surge of power forced me back almost making me stubble. Although the power was immense there was a sort of kindness that slowly intertwined as my sister walked toward it. My sisters long black hair with red highlights wiped out of her braided piggy tails leaving her hair flying behind her almost like a burning black cloak. As my sister reached to pick up the beautiful wand's power was erased in an instant, the wand had found its owner and accepted her, even I who knew nothing of magic knew this much.

"Acacia wood with a mix of Horned Serpent Horn and White Monster spine. Which is very surprising because acacia wood as indeed peculiar but the fact that the wand has two types of cores is even more so." Said the bearded wand maker "Very peculiar indeed."

"Of course, you got it on your first go, sis." I tell her playfully, because I'm not perfect and sometimes I don't get it right.

The assistant offered me a new wand, a soft pale narrow twisted rod. It was inviting almost, I wondered if that was how my sister felt with her wand. I picked this last wand up and, finally, had the wand of choice. I swished my wrist slightly, amused at the coloured sparks that escaped.

"Strange, it's been a while since I saw twin witches with twin cores, quite astounding actually." The eyes twinkled at me through the mounds of beard hair, "You my dear girl have, like your sister the Horned Serpent Horn but also the Rougarou Hair."

I locked eyes with Ayah, excited that as well as, parentage, looks, hobbies and sacrificing the innocent, we were connected.
