Things shifted fast in Hyperion Heights. The people who left the town years ago finally came back. Zelena has been reunited again with her daughter. Henry's family is complete and Hook and Alice found each other though the curse between them is still present but this world gave them some other form of communication namely cell phone. Rumplestiltskin continues his search for the Guardian so he can pass on being the Dark One and be with Belle. I never heard anything from Gothel again. Tiana immediately became in charge of the town since she's the queen back in the Enchanted Forest or at least their version of it. I didn't bother to attend the town meetings. There's nothing for me there. I just lost the drive to be active in the community so to speak.
Zelena, on the other hand, is very much active. She will attend the meetings and keep me posted. It's very much like I attended the thing as well. I spent most of my time inside the bar or at Facilier's apartment. It's all in secret of course. Now that everyone is awake, a lot of people are against with me being with him, especially Tiana. "What are you thinking?" Facilier asked me. I didn't notice he's staring at me the whole time. "Nothing…just silly stuff. There's nothing to be concern about", I answered without even looking at him. I kept my eyes fixated at the ceiling of his bedroom. This is becoming a habit, me spending the night at his place. Zelena never notices it. She's so preoccupied with Robyn. "I got something for you", he said and then got up to get something from his drawer. He returns to the bed with a small box. I opened it and it's a necklace, the one I received from him a long time ago. "You kept it", I muttered. "Of course", he replied and then kissed me.
I left his apartment early the next day. I forgot it's Lucy's birthday today and Henry wanted to celebrate it in the bar. I got a lot of cleaning to do. "Regina", Drizella called from behind me. Oh not now. "I just want to say thank you. Rumplestiltskin found my sister and she's safe now", she said. I stopped walking. That is a good news. "That's good to hear. You better make sure she stays safe", I said and then continued walking but instead of leaving, she followed me. "Are you okay?" she asked me. I looked at her. "Of course", I answered. She doesn't look convinced. "I might have lost my power but I still have my talent in reading people's auras", she said. I forgot about that annoying talent she has. Only a few witches have that and she's one of them. "I'm fine, Drizella. Now, go to your sister. Spend time with her", I said. She smiled and then turned around. "Oh, there's a party later for Lucy. You and your sister can come as well. It'll be nice if Anastacia will meet Lucy", I said and then left.
I got inside the bar only to find Rumple with Zelena in there waiting for me. "Where were you last night?" she greeted me in an unpleasant way. "Out with a friend", I lied but obviously that is not a good one. "Was that friend goes by the name of Dr. Facilier?" she asked again. I am busted big time. I didn't realize Robyn is with us. Now, Henry will know about this too. He and Robyn talk about everything. "I can explain", I said. Zelena is about to rant when Rumple stopped her. "Cute necklace…where did you get it?" he asked. I am in big trouble. He knows about this necklace too. "What's with the necklace?" Zelena asked us. Rumple eyed me. "Do the honors, Your Majesty", he said. I sighed. "It's a gift from Facilier years ago. It is made of Espian metal", I answered.
"Espian metal? Are you serious? Can you explain to me why are you wearing a pendant made out of that?" Zelena asked.
"Wait, what is Espian metal?" Robyn asked.
"Good question. Why don't you tell her, Aunt Regina?" Zelena said.
"It's a metal from a long lost realm. What it does is, it boost one's powers and it also act as a protection charm", I explained.
"Oh you left out the part that it sucks out light magic", Zelena added.
"I haven't used it. I promise. I just like wearing it", I said.
Zelena rolled her eyes. This whole interrogation thing is making me pissed off. I'm trying to cool down and not let my temper get the best of me but they are making it really hard. Zelena is suddenly mothering me while Rumple is playing Daddy on me. Zelena walked towards me with her hand extended. "Give me the necklace, Regina", she said. I couldn't help it anymore. I just burst. "No!" I screamed and she flew backwards and hit the wall. "Mom!" Robyn called and then rushed to her. I went frozen on the spot where I am standing. They all looked at me in surprise. "Zelena, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do that", I apologized. It's true. I looked at my hand which is now shaking once again.
I can feel myself changing into something I am so familiar with. Then I remembered what Gothel said to me. She said the light in me will fade more and more each day. It is happening. It is fading. "You think you better start talking now, Your Majesty", Rumple said. Where do I start? Things just keep running around my head. I am having a panic attack. "This is what she wants", I muttered. Zelena got up and healed herself. She walked beside Rumple. "Who?" she asked. I think that's an indication you're having a relapse. Everything has been orchestrated by Gothel. I suddenly remember when Henry left to go on an adventure of his own. She directed his portal to her version of Enchanted Forest. She allowed him and Jacinda to meet. She drew him into their problem until he called out to us for help. It's all a set up from the start and like a fool, I fell for it big time. "Who wanted this?" Rumple repeated Zelena's question. I looked at the both of them. "Gothel…she wanted me all along", I answered. "What? She wanted you?" Zelena asked. I shook my head. "Not me…the other version of me", I corrected. Rumple looked down the floor and shook his head. "She wanted the Evil Queen back", he said.
