Authors notes: Okay took a while but here it is! And the Doctor that will have Martha Jones as a companion will be the 7th Doctor! Here we go!

Ps. I don't own Doctor Who!

Pss. This story is around the 7th Doctor's time alone in the classic series.

March, 31st, 2007, London. Martha Jones is on her way to work at The Royal Hope Hospital.

As she continues her daily route she starts typing away on her mobile. She had plans that needed to be carried out. Her older brother's birthday was happening and once again she has to be the medium between her mother and her father. Ever since the divorce she has always stood between them, making sure they don't try to kill each other.

"Some day," she thought, "Someday I won't be around and they are going to have to solve their own issues without…"

Her mind stops at a new sound by an alleyway. Sitting on the hard walkway with his head down and in front of a upside down hat is a man wearing what looks like a brown coat and tweed pants. He was holding two spoons in his hand. Oddly enough, he was playing them.

Martha looked at the man playing his spoons. He looked like any other beggar at this corner, but the others usually had better instruments to play. this one must really be down on his luck if he had to use his tableware to entertain himself. Feeling sorry for this poor bloke, she took out two pounds from her pocket and put them in the hat. She continued on her way without seeing the man picking the hat up.

"I'll pay you back soon Martha Jones." He said.

Martha stopped in her tracks. How did this man know her name? She turned around fast to talk to the man, but he was gone.

"Weird," she said and continued walking, completely passing a blue police box that shouldn't be there, but since she was almost late she paid no mind.

Martha was almost to the hospital when she stopped. She tried to move but her legs would not budge. She tired to call for help, but her mouth wouldn't move. The next thing she knew everything went black.

After who knows how long, she woke up. All she could see was white floor, as that's what she was facing. Her first instinct was to move her toes, testing to see if her paralysis was still in effect. They were moving normally. Next her jaw, that was ok too.

"Oy, what happened?" asked Martha. She looked around and found herself in a grey room with rounded walls.

Martha didn't know what was going on. How did she get here? Where was she? And…who are these other people?

Around her where other people; three men and two women. All of them were wearing either regular clothes or doctor's scrubs. She stood up slowly, about to ask the other people. By their expressions it looks like they don't know either.

Then sounds of working machinery filled the air, causing everyone to freeze. From six holes in the walls came six orbs. The orbs hovered above them like vultures. They suddenly scattered, one hovering extremely close to Martha's face. It had some kind of rectangular screen, one that buzzed with constant digitalized charts and diagrams flickering inside. The screen cleared up and showed an image that looked like a 3-D model of a human brain.

Martha stood frightfully still at this strange thing. Then a lens opened up in front of the orb, like the front of a camera.

FLASH

A bright light came out of it, causing her to tear up a little as she shut her eyes. Martha rubbed her eyes as her vision came back. It was like her mom's old camera, one of those large ones with the painfully bright flashes. It ended as quick as it came. Martha looked at the others to see that the other orbs did the same to them. Before she could get a good look the six orbs went back inside the walls.

"What the hell is going on here?!" shouted a man from the group with a German accent.

Then one of the walls opened up like two sliding doors and out of the doors came three figures.

Everyone stood still at the sight of them. They looked around Martha's height, with muscular bodies. They where wearing what looked like blue and purple armor, with a domed shaped helmet with two black eye holes. The middle figure had a star-like symbol on his helmet. Martha noticed that all three of them had only three fingers.

"I'll tell you what is going on human scum," said the middle one, speaking in a strong military voice.

It lifted it's hands and removed the helmet, revealing to the now shocked humans that this creature's face was almost human, with a round face almost like a potato. It's glaring eyes looking at the frightened humans.

"You have all been drafted to serve as the medical units of the Sontaran armada!" It shouted.

DOCTOR WHO

Medical Warfare

pt 1.

By Z-King and Lord Primeval

Martha just stood there. She could not believe her eyes. Aliens, real live aliens, and she has just been abducted!

Martha once again couldn't move, but this time it was her own shock. At least she was doing better then the others. A woman on her right started to hyper ventilate, while two men behind her where trying to convince themselves that they are dreaming. The rest where just praying for this not to be real.

The Sontaran in the middle looked rather annoyed at this. He lifted his weapon and aimed for the ceiling.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Silence filled the air after the middle Sontaran lowered it's weapon.

"The next one to make any noise without my authority will be shot!" The Sontaran shouted. "Now I am commander Scorve of the Sontaran 300 Divisions. In case some of you humans are slow, you all are now part of the new Medical unit for the Sontaran armada!"

Martha could not believe it, they where brought here to be these…Sontaran's doctors?

Well at least they not trying to dissect us, Martha thought. The one called Scorve spoke again.

"Now you humans will follow me while my fellow soldiers will follow you from behind, making sure you will not escape. Now come!"

The two other Sontarans used their guns to motion them to move ahead.

"Come on we...we might have to do what he said," Martha said trying to act brave.

But one of the women could not get up.

"If you do not get up at once you will be of no use and be culled on the spot!" said one of the Sontarans.

The woman let a small cry, Martha walked to her, helping her on her feet and convincing her that everything will be alright. She only wished she believed that herself.

As the group follows Scorve they examine their new surroundings. They entered into a hallway that looks to be part of a space station, like those you see in old sci-fi movies. The halls where white with wires sticking out along with some dents, like some creature rammed it's head multiple times. There were some bullet holes to.

Soon, they pass by some windows. Martha gazed out one of the windows out of curiosity. Outside were long open spaces of blue sand, With mountains that looked like gigantic rubies in the far distance. Martha would have kept looking if one of the other Sontarans had not shoved her with it's gun.

They continued walking until Scorve stopped at another white door. He placed his left hand on a what seems to be a palm scanner, causing the door to open. The inside of this room was filled with what looked like operating tables you'd see in most hospitals.

Scorve turned to the humans and spoke with authority.

"This is where you will operate on any injured Sontarans. Failure to do so or if you try to escape you will be obliterated without question or mercy is that understood?"

No one dared to answer him.

"I SAID IS THAT UNDERSTOOD?!"

"Yes!" spoke all the humans, not wanting to further in rage the Sontaran.

Suddenly, a beeping sound came from one of the strange devices by the operating tables. Scorve walked up to it and pushed one of the buttons.

Martha watched, thinking to herself that it must be some kind of communication device, almost like a pager at the hospital. She started to look around the room, looking back at the door they entered from something caught her by surprise.

For a moment Martha thought she saw the same homeless man she meet on the street back in London. Or in this case, back on earth. But that can't be right. And besides, she didn't get a good look at him since he walked too quickly through the hallway. Her attention shifted back when Scrove ended the call.

"Well humans, it seems you'll be getting right to work on your first day. And remember what I said; if you try to escape or refuse to corporate will mean death," spoke Scrove as he and the two Sontarans walked out of the room, leaving the human doctors alone.

"This is crazy! We're going to die here!" shouted the German man.

"We don't understand their physiology, or blood type, if they even have blood, or anything!" said the Japanese woman.

"Well, what do you think we should do then? Just sit here and wait for them to kill us?" said a man with a Texan accent.

As everyone bickered, Martha knew that none of this will be of help to anyone. If anything, it might make it worse. She walked up to one of the tables and studied the alien devices. They looked...familiar. Somehow, Martha knew how each one worked. It was strange, it felt like she had been using each of them for over ten years. She couldn't explain how or why, but for some reason she understood each and every tool on the table.

"Hey," Martha said trying to get everyone's attention, but they did not hear her. She tried again but louder.

"HEY!"

Everyone stopped arguing and looked at Martha. She took a deep breath and held one of the devices.

"Does anyone know what this thing is?"

Then one of the doctors walked up and said, "Well it's a updated bio scanner made for the purpose detecting for scanning any bacteria or broken body parts and…"

But the man stopped talking and covered his mouth, he was just as shocked as everyone.

"How, how did I know that?" he asked.

"And this one?" she asked, holding what looked like a pair of green tongs attached to a car battery.

"Cellular Re-stabilizer," the Texan man answered. "Similar in purpose to a defibrillator but designed for particular organs such as the heart, lungs and...what the hell am I on about?"

Everyone was surprised at this revelation. Martha then thought back to when they were in that other room and those floating orbs.

"Those orbs," she whispered. "That's it!"

Everyone looked at Martha.

"Don't you get?" she said. "Back at that room, we all woke up with those ball things in our faces. They must have done something to us."

Then another woman, Indian by the look of, her gasped. "That flash of light, that must be how they did it. Somehow when they flashed at us it must have entered our brains."

"Like instant medical school." said the Asian woman.

"Amazing," said a man who looked to be around his 60s.

"Amazing?!" shouted the Texas man, "We've been abducted by potato-head aliens with big guns that just used some freaky alien tech to mess with our brains! And ya'll think that's amazing?!"

"Hey, calm down man," said Martha. "Maybe these Sontarans will let us go if we do a good job, okay?"

The man calmed down a bit, then Martha looked at everyone.

"Well before are…patients get here how about we all get to know each other by telling us each other's names? I'll start: My name is Martha jones."

The Japanese woman walked up to Martha. "My name is Suki Chang. Thank you for earlier."

"My name is Ada Nehru," said the Indian woman.

The older man and the black man walked up.

"My names Alex Oliver. The old guy here is my old medics teacher Doctor Lance Parker."

"Well, my parents wanted to name me after Lancelot, the famous knight of Camelot," said Doctor Lance.

The Texan man just crossed his arms then with a sigh said, "The names Blake, mam. Blake Clinton."

As everyone was getting to know each other the doors on the other side of the room opened up, causing everyone to stop talking and face a group of Sontarans carrying two wounded members of their kin.

"Put those two on the operating tables!" commanded one of the Sontarans. He turned to the human doctors and commanded them to began operating on them.

Alex and Suki went up to the wounded Sontaran on the left of table while Lance and Ada moved the one on the right. Martha and Blake where about to assist the others when the other Sontaran stopped them.

"What? Don't you want us to help your buddies?" asked Blake trying to act brave.

"You record tells me you handle autopsies," spoke the Sontaran, "So you will operate on a fallen soldier who died of unknown reasoning."

"And what about me?" asked Martha.

The Sontaran raised his hand in a commanding motion at the door, causing a helmetless Sontaran to enter the room.

"This one suffers from damage to the brain. You will test him to see if he is fit for battle," the Sontaran answered.

"This is an insult, Commander Scun!" said the helmetless Sontaran. "I am perfectly fit for duty sir! I do not need to be checked by this boy!" He was pointing at Martha as he spoke.

Martha looked at the Sontaran while Blake was hiding a chuckle. He stopped thanks to Martha's glare.

"I'm a girl actually," she said to the Sontaran with excellent bedside manner.

"Oh," said the Sontaran. "I do not need to be checked by this girl!"

"You will do as you are ordered Strax! Unless you do not want to be reinstated back into your commander rank!" shouted Scun.

The Sontaran, now called Strax, was silent then he turned back to Martha .

"Well don't you stand there, lets begin the operation!" Strax shouted as he walked to a operating table.

Commander Scun told Alex to follow him, leaving the other Sontaran to guard the humans.

"Hurry up, girl! I'm missing the battle!" shouted Strax.

Martha sighed. Maybe being cut opened by aliens would bad such a bad thing right now.

Meanwhile, Alex and Commander Scun arrived at another room filled with five Sontaran corpses on five separate tables.

"Awww! This place reeks!" cried Blake covering his nose.

"You should be honored, Human Swine!," spoke Scun. "You are in the presence of fallen warriors!"

"Well they still reek," Blake whispered.

Scun pointed to the corpse at the last table at the back.

"That is the body you will examine. I will return in two hours!" Scun commanded as he left the room.

"Well," Blake said pulling his sleeves up, "Time to get to work."

Meanwhile, back with the rest of the captured humans Martha was using one of the Sontaran medical devices to scan Strax as he continues to rant on.

"And it was not my fault that my blaster blew up the Sargent General, someone forgot to tell me that my weapon was overloading!"

Martha rolled her eyes "Since it's your gun, shouldn't you be responsible for it?"

"Don't you tell me what should or should not be my fault!" Shouted Strax.

Then silence surrounded the two.

"….But you are right," whispered Strax. "This is humiliating, telling this to a doctor. Especially a HUMAN doctor. You won't tell anyone of this?"

Martha smiled a little.

"Don't worry. Doctor patient confidentiality,"

"Huh?" said Strax with a dumb look.

Martha laughed a bit at Strax's look.

"I mean my lips are sealed Strax."

"No they are not," said Strax. "I can see them moving right now."

"Never mind," sighed Martha as she finished the scan. "Okay, the scan is finished. You seem to be fine physically, minus a small tear in your higher Hylik Gland (wait until my co-eds hear about that one.), but that'll clear in a week. You might be having a small headache while it closes up. I suggest today you just take a break from fighting and…"

"Take a break?!" shouted Strax. "I am a warrior of Sontar, I do not take breaks when there is a battle going on! I have enemies to eliminate, orders to comply-"

"Well I'm sorry, but I'm the doctor here and I'm telling you it's for your own good," said Martha getting frustrated. "In other words, it's an order."

Strax glared at Martha. Maybe she should have kept quiet now this alien is going to kill her.

Strax stood up and looked at Martha in the face.

"Fine," grumbled Strax.

Martha was relieved at this. She watched Strax walking out of the room as the other Doctors finished. Their patients seemed to have healed up well. One Sontaran had even gone through a successful Jirolesiod-transplant- whatever the hell that meant.

I wonder if Blake is doing alright? Martha said to herself.

Back at the Sontaran morgue Blake was examining the Sontaran body, trying to find the reason for it's death. He tried the scan multiple times but could not find anything.

Beep. Beep.

The scanner picked up something. Blake motioned the device near the upper chest where the scanner picked it up.

Alex saw something green near the ribcage. it throbbed around a bit and started expanding.

"What the hell is this?" said Blake as he backed away from the growing green mass.

Outside the room Commander Scun was walking back towards the room. As he walked he heard a scream.

"Hmm, sounds like one of the humans," Scun grunted in a not caring tone. "Normally I would ignore pathetic human cries, but orders are orders."

Scun opened the doors and saw Blake just standing near the Sontaran body.

"Why where you screaming, human?" Scun demanded.

Blake slowly turned around to face Scun, his face looking pale and his eyes look tired.

"It was nothing I just got shocked that was all," Blake said in a dull voice.

"Well don't let it happen again," spoke Scun. "What have you learn from the body?"

"This clone was defective, it seems that when it entered the battlefield it suffered a panic attack that caused this Sontaran to freeze, thus giving the enemy an easy target."

Scun stared at Blake, then looked at the body and back.

"Hmm, I shall inform high command of this. In the mean time, put these bodies in cremation room right next to you."

Blake nodded and rolled the Sontaran body to the other room. Then he went back and pulled out another table with a body covered in cloth.

"What's that?" Scun asked.

"Just the latest one, I already looked at it," Blake said pushing the body with the other.

"Good. Now push the red button on your right to activate the cremation process," Scun commanded.

Alex pushed the red button and watched as flames were coming out of the walls, burning the bodies. He watched the two bodies burn, the clothed covered body showed a human hand being burned.

Meanwhile back with the other humans, the last Sontaran has just been healed. Blake had just returned with Scun.

"Humans, you have done well today in service of the empire," said Scun.

Martha took a step forward towards Scun and said, "So does this mean you'll take us back home?"

Scun looked at Martha and frowned.

"No. You all will remain here until the battle between the vile Rutans has ended!"

Martha backed away form the Sontaran and bumped into Blake. She turned around to apologize but stopped as she saw Alex face. For a moment his eyes glowed green.

"Be more careful," said Blake as he moved in the back. Martha just ignored this strange behavior for a moment as she listened to Scun.

"Now humans, you will be lead to your own bunks until you are needed once again. These two will lead you," commanded Scun as the two Sontaran guards walked in front of the doors waiting for the humans.

Slowly the doctors walked behind the two Sontarans, with Martha behind the group watching Blake. She did not know why but something seems off with him. She barely even knows him, but she knew enough to get a feeling.

As they continued walking they went past an open room. Martha took a quick peek inside. She swore she saw that strange man again.

Martha stopped to take another look, finding that the man had gone.

"This is crazy," Martha whispered. She looked back at the group, pondering whether to follow them or look in the room for that weird little man.

The debating ended and Martha went into the room. She scanned the room, seeing lots of tech that seemed unearthly. She saw a huge computer-like machine with an image of the planet Earth.

She looked at the screen and saw photos of her and the other humans. Could this be how the Sontarans found them? She pushed a few buttons, hoping to get some answers. The images were then replaced with those of some other species, humanoids, but still strange and alien. she pressed them again, another set of pictures of a different species.

Martha was about to push the buttons again when she heard someone coming. Suddenly, a hand covered her mouth. Whoever was behind her, he pulled her down behind a large crate before she even had a chance to scream.

Martha's eyes widened as she saw that man. And this time, she got a real good look at him.

He was wearing a light brown tweed jacket, with a red patterned waistcoat. He also wore a zigzag patterned tie and was a panama hat.

His face looked a little old but his eyes looked older. He put a finger on his lips and hushed Martha, taking a peek above the crate. He saw a Sontaran solider coming in.

"Who's in here?!" shouted the Sontaran. "Identify immediately."

The man quickly ducked his head back down and turned to Martha.

"Now listen," he whispered sounding a bit Scottish. "Stay quiet because If that Sontarrran finds us here we are both dead."

Martha stayed quiet as the Sontaran solider continued to walk around the room.

This day was becoming one big nightmare. Today, all she was worried about was keeping her mother and father from killing each other. The next thing she knew she is forced to work as war doctors for aliens and now she is with a man she saw on the streets. If they found her here it would be unlikely they'd let her a off with a warning.

The footsteps came closer and closer. Martha shut her eyes as the Sontaran stopped walking.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!"

To be continued...
