Everything is in slow motion. The battle rages around me. I can see my sister and her daughter fighting for their lives, my son trying to protect as many people as possible while I am in the middle of it all. I know it's not happening this slow but it's how I am seeing it in my eyes. I can hear screaming coming from other realms. It's still daytime but it's pitch black not only here in Hyperion Heights but everywhere. I saw Rumple and Facilier fighting each other. I should be worried but I suddenly lost that ability. I became a mere spectator of the show. Then the pace went back to normal. The streets of this town became a battlefield and I caused it all. I should feel guilty and regretful but those two are not my thing.
The members of the coven appeared and they all lined up behind me and Gothel. "Isn't this beautiful? Look at the fear in their eyes", she muttered. I can see the fear she's talking about. I just don't know about the beautiful part. A burst of white light came out from one of the portals. I know that magic. It's Emma. "Now isn't this lovely? A much needed reinforcement", Gothel said. This is not how I want to plan a reunion but sure. "Mom!" Henry called when he saw her. I see that she brought the entire team of Storybrooke. "Why are you here? Who's protecting Storybrooke?" Zelena asked her. Snow and Charming joined the fight as well. "Don't worry. The town is safe", Emma answered. I can see her looking around while trying to dodge the attacks of a few black hearted creatures we awaken. She's trying to find me.
Sparkly dust started pouring from above. "Fairies", I muttered. They started raining some pixie dusts on us but the coven shielded us from those. "There she is", I heard Charming said to Emma and Snow. They all looked at me. "Regina", Snow muttered. I am beginning to wonder on why I wasted years trying to make her suffer when I can just have done this instead. "Regina, it's not too late. You can still stop all these. You know this is now what you want", Emma tried to give me the hope speech again but I think it lost its appeal on me. "Please, Regina…you are good. You are good deep inside. You are not the Evil Queen", Snow pleaded which makes Gothel laughed. "That is heart-warming, honestly", she mocked.
"Think of all the things you went through, Regina. You survived all of them. You changed for the better and in return you received love and acceptance. Don't throw it all away", Emma said.
"I didn't throw it all away. It's been slowly taken from me", I said.
"I know you feel that way but that's not true. We are here. We are your family. What about Henry? You don't love him anymore? Because I know you do. You followed him into another realm so you can still protect him. You casted a curse to save his life", she said.
"Mom, please…come back to us. We love you. I love you", Henry added.
I can feel something inside me is beginning to change. I am starting to feel again. I looked down the ground. "Don't ever forget what these people have done to you. They broke you over and over again. They say they love you when they need you but afterwards, they just treat you like dirt. They are not your family. They want you because you are useful to them", Gothel contradicted them all. Snow stepped forward. "That is not true! Don't listen to her. She's the one who's been using you this whole time", she exclaimed. I watched Facilier battled Rumple. I trusted him. I really did. Then it blew right on my face. "I know you loved him. I know the feeling. Like you said, I fell for Hades of all people. He loves you as well and that is very evident but it is not a healthy love, Regina and you know that. It's possessive and selfish. That is not the kind of love that you deserve or any of us", Zelena said when she saw me looking at him.
She has a point. I always thought he doesn't judge me for whatever I became but I was wrong. He likes me as the Evil Queen and not Regina or Roni. He loves me. I know that. But being the good me is not enough for him. It's possessive and selfish just like what Zelena said. "Enough of this!" Gothel exclaimed. The coven stepped forward enough to be aligned with me. "You are all too late. She is one of us now. There's nothing else that you can do except watch as we snuff out all the light in this world and yours", Gothel said. I felt the connection between me and the others grew. It's a thing about being in a coven. Everyone is linked. They started to disappear one by one. They took their positions circling everyone inside. Then a circle has been drawn on the ground with us acting as the wall. "What is happening?" Robyn asked.
We all raised our hands and focused our energy onto the circle. "Do you feel it? It's like the oxygen is being suck out", Emma asked Rumple. He looked at me. "No. It's not the oxygen. It's magic, light magic", he answered. He is right. We are sucking out the light magic of everyone. Just like what Gothel said, we are going to snuff out all the light. Emma fell on her knees. She is nothing but pure light magic. If we succeed, this will kill her. "Mom, stop!" Henry yelled but I can't stop. I feel so connected to the coven that it's like I am feeling what they are feeling and what they're feeling is pure rage. Every single one of them has been wronged by the world, judged by what they are, mistreated because they are special in their own way. They are hurting and they want to take it out onto the world.
Soon Zelena fell down as well. "Mom", Robyn rushed to her side. She will not die. She doesn't have that much light magic in her. "Is this what you really want, Regina? To make your family suffer?" Rumple asked me. There is something in the way he looks at me. "I know you're in there somewhere. I have known you as Regina. I have known you as the Evil Queen. You would never want to hurt the people you love and right now, that is what you're doing. You are hurting all of them", he said. I looked at Emma and Henry. I saw the Snow and David's frustrations that there's nothing they can do to help their daughter. My sister is in pain and so is her daughter. I looked back at Rumple. "I can't stop", I muttered. Then a ray of light came from the sky. We all covered our eyes and once the light was gone we opened them. I couldn't believe what I'm seeing. He is here. "Robin", I muttered.
