Here's is a ROBRAE short for you fans out there! This is actually a continuation of the first short I posted. Any other news will be at the bottom, and please enjoy and review if you can! (Note: this was suppose to be up years ago, but my slow butt did not know what else to put down so excuse the sloppiness!)

Fourth of July pt.2

Cyborg whistled a happy tune while grilling meat and vegetables for kabobs. Jump City held a grand Fourth of July party on the beach and the Teen Titans had a special spot reserved just for them to relax and enjoy the ocean. Robin and BB were splashing in the water while Star tried out making a sandcastle.

"It's perfect! What are your thoughts friend Cyborg?" said teen turned to Star who beamed while revealing her masterpiece. Cyborg almost dropped his metal tongs from just one look at what was suppose to be a sandcastle. He kept his face neutral as to not startle the princess but on the inside he couldn't make heads or tails if it was a castle or some kind of alien monster they've crossed in the past.

"Um, well ... Star, it's-uh... actually-"

"It's missing a moat."

The new voice walked over to Starfire's creation and sat across her construction ground. Pale hands started digging around the structure before looking at Starfire. "If it's okay that I can help-" Starfire practically glowed brighter than ever before giving Raven a bone crushing hug.

"Oh friend Raven, this would please me greatly! I will grab some water from the giant pool behind us!" the alien teen flew off with her small buckets to help prepare the moat while Raven straightened herself out from the near death hug. She shrugged before returning to prepared the moat, but halfway through, she felt eyes stab daggers onto her back. Deciding to respond now rather than later, she peeked up from her work to see the cook still gapped at her. "You're burning the peppers and pineapples."

The cook blinked a few times to make sure he wasn't seeing these before he rush to save the cooking vegetables.

"I promised myself, that I would do better." Cyborg smiled at her response to his unasked question.

"It's good to see you interacting with everyone. You know I'm here you need to talk." the half robot smiled, seeing not only Raven making the attempt to enjoy everyone's company, but actually enjoying the beach herself. He knew she would prefer to read and sunbath rather than get her hands dirty with sand.

Fifteen minutes later, Cyborg called out that the grub was ready for consuming! Just as their leader and the changeling raced out of the water, a whoop and a holler called out from the ocean. Chasing the giant wave was a short blonde up top an off brown surfboard. Crashing against the sandy shore the new surfer jumped off her board which was actually a slab of rock. Pushing the wet strands of gold hair, blue eyes smiled at the gawking teens.

"Terra!" the changeling gasped in astonishment before racing up to the new teen along with Star who was equally surprised.

"Hey hey, you are just in time girl! Got the kebobs and ribs ready!"

"Don't forget about us!" a new female voice called out. The Titans were surprised once again by the new and familiar faces. The speed twins raced up to the group with big smiles before ogling at Star. Aqualad walked slowly up along with Speedy handling the extra bags and Bee took up the rear "parking" their sub vehicle under neath the waves.

"The gangs all here! now we can really party!" BB shouted, and now joined by the Mas' y Menos, the Teen Titan Fourth of July Party began!

XXXXXXXXXXXX

The Titan's sorceress sighed against her beach chair overseeing the other titans still in the festive volleyball along with Star dragging Mas y Menos to her "sandcastle". She had to admit, she was having a good time with everyone, relaxing and enjoying this beautiful holiday. Seeing BB smacked in the face by Speedy's spike was pretty funny, and she had to bite her lip from cracking a smile.

"Coconut Milk?" a coconut shell was presented to her face just as the new voice spoke. Raven was a little surprise that the earth bender was not among the action with the others. The blonde wore a simple black bikini top, brown short shorts and her goggles rested up top her hair. Terra ditched the bulky gloves and had a few bead and shell bracelets instead, one around her ankle and to finish her look a seastar clipped her bangs away from her face. Raven raised her eyebrow at the blond above her. Terra gave a big but sad smile. "I'm sorry Raven. I know it's going to take a whole lot more than just an apology, but-" the offered coconut was suddenly captured in black magic, floating into Raven's hand. A blue little umbrella greeted the sorceress's eyes, resting inside the shell along with a pink straw. She took a sip of the creamy drink, cold and refreshing, and rested back into her chair.

"Terra," said girl visibly gulped, awaiting the sorceress' words of rejection which she wouldn't be surprised if Raven still held any resentment for her past deeds. It was nice to know that it was because of Raven that she was able to have her life back, and having her memories recovered was even better. What ever Raven had to say was probably what she deserved. "When Beast Boy saw you again after my fight with my father, he tried so hard to help you remember who he was and who you were. It was by another miracle from my power that your power was reawaken and your memories restored. Beast Boy knew how I felt about you, how my trust wasn't the same as it was. In fact before you even joined us I knew something didn't feel right with you," Raven closed her eyes and sighed, taking a big breath before walking through the memory of the argument between her and the changeling. He never gave up on her. Even when she rejected him at the school.

Months later, Beast Boy comes running into the tower holding a soaked and unconscious Terra, both bleeding badly.

Raven spent almost two whole days in the recovery room before Terra could breathe without her support. That was when the sorceress noticed something off from the earth bender; a door that was barbed and chained closed inside her mind. There was light behind the door, pulsing with life, and Raven knew that the real Terra was locked inside her own mind. When she mentioned this to the other Titans, Beast Boy all but begged for Raven to try and save her, before he,. . . . he lose her all over again.

Now here they all were, a recovered titan back on their team and friendships slowly rebuilt from the ground up. Well, all except one.

"Having you back into the tower, back inside our home, it took a lot more meditation for me to not try and watch my back every five minutes. I've been thinking a lot on what I would say to you-" sharp violet eyes looked up at the blonde standing beside her, even standing her ground Raven could feel her anxiety rolling off her in waves.

Raven sighed.

"I forgive you."

Terra gasped, hearing the strong response after the long silence. The earth bender really had thought she would never be forgiven, but looking into Raven's soft eyes she could vulnerability now that she was spilling her guts to her.

"I've had some time to cool off, and seeing the others take you in whole-heartily, even Robin, after everything helps make a clearer decision."

Terra swallowed as much air as she could after holding it in for what felt like forever. She smiled, relieved to be accepted again by the sorceress. "Raven, thank y-"

"Be warned," Raven's voice cracked like a sharp wind, seizing the blonde's heart. "that if you make Beast Boy go through the same heartache as before I will make it my personal mission to bury you. I'm not meaning here on Earth." the eyes looked up at Terra with cut-edge rubies that promised pain before death. Soft blues were terrified of the deadly glare Raven was stabbing her, but she coughed and smiled down with renewed strength.

"I care for Beast Boy. More than ever. I've never had anyone stick up for me and stay beside me, not even remotely close like he has. I promise that I won't betray him. The titan's are my new family, and I won't make that mistake again." the girls stared hard into each others eyes. Raven, despite feeling a little bit of fear from her power, could see the honesty mixed around her blue eyes, and Terra was searching, waiting for her acceptance.

Quickly the red glare vanished, and Raven sipped on her coconut milk. The cold drink was refreshing, especially after having the big talk that the sorceress was finally happy to have accomplished.

"Beast Boy's team needs a new setter." Raven pointed to the volleyball game still playing. Terra smiled down at the makeshift court before turning her eyes back at Raven.

"Thank you for giving me another chance Raven." said girl shrugged nonchalantly.

"Don't thank me. Beast Boy deserves the credit." the blonde started to rush off to the game, but not before turning back to face Raven once more.

"You should join us for a game!" the suggestion made Raven look at Terra with her usual blank expression making Terra laugh,. . . . and Raven gave off a soft smile of her own.

". . . . We'll see."

XXXXXXXXXXXX

"Was it just me, or were you laughing along with Terra earlier?" Robin asked the quiet girl sitting on his left with a raised brow. Raven looked up at his face in surprise before it quickly melted away to her usual monotone gaze.

"Your imagination." Raven didn't have to look at him to know there was a mocking smirk on his face. The Titans were somewhat spread across the sandy beach ready for the spectacular firework display, but for now enjoyed the end of the beautiful sunset. Speedy and Aqualad were arguing over something trivial and Mas y Menos were enjoying Starfire's attention, even if it was for five minutes. Not surprised, Raven scanned over where Cyborg was sitting on a picnic bench and Bee was just inches away from resting against the older teen's shoulder.

She could sense the way the two talked, which was casual to others, but Raven could see the way to two lit up when around one another. The sorceress wished the two well wishes in her mind before turning off to her far right, past the boy wonder. Terra was resting up top a boulder surrounded by tall grass with BB's arm resting behind her back. Despite what Terra had put them through in the past, Raven knew she was trying to make up for what she did, even after pulling her past memories from deep inside her head.

"What are you thinking?" a husky voice breath against her ear, breaking through her train of thought. The sorceress frown up at Robin's amused face before standing from their beach towel they shared.

"Bathroom." was her flat answer, leaving Robin to relax and just wait, but not a full minute had past that he suddenly smiled deviously at the voice that crossed his mind, always invited.

"Well, aren't you coming?"

XXXXXXXXXXXXX

"Took your sweet time." a snippy voice held little bite just as the supple lips traced it's neck. A husky chuckle was it's reply and those lips smiled against the pale neck it was nibbling on.

"Miss my warmth so much little Rae?" the husky voice teased, before it's long hands skated against the pale skin, enjoying the shivers it brought out while gently rubbing the black bikini strap wrapped around curvy hips. Raven's plump lips shudder before clutching the blue opened shirt worn by her bird head leader.

"Hardly Bird Brain. As romantic as sucking face behind the public restrooms sounds, I'm sure you would have preferred a more *moan~* private spot?" said boy raised his head in thought, but hands didn't stop searching, exploring across the bare skin that was usually covered by her dark blue leotard (don't get him wrong! Her hero attire is still sexy on her~) and hoping to hear the cute squeaks Raven couldn't help slip past her lips. Despite not seeing his face Raven knew Robin was smiling when he pulled their bodies together, creating delicious tingles to spark across their bare skins like two rocks struck together. "Boy Blunder." the leader gripped Raven's shoulders quick with a sharp shake to now be seeing her shocked violets blinking at the sudden action.

"That's not, my name, sorceress." Robin smirked with satisfaction when he heard the shaky shudder rolled out of the sorceress' mouth and felt the quick shake of her shoulders. He leaned in to kiss-

"You people want a firework show?! I'll give a spectacular show to knock out past years in Jump City!" a voice boomed through the beach stopping the teens still from their neck feast.

"Doctor Light." both frowned at the nuisance of the doctor, but like practice procedure, Raven used a little magic to bring out her cloak and Robin's utility belt.

"Let's make this quick." Raven's monotone voice was hinted with annoyance, and Robin couldn't agree more.

XXXXXXXXXXX

"Well this was a smashing way of spending Fourth of July!" Beast Boy complained, kicking a small piece of metal away and grumbled to himself at the mess their fight cause. The beach was a disaster! Trash littered all across the sandy beach, the crowd that was there before have all but left the premises when Doctor Light decided to appear. The Titans didn't really flinch when they saw just the doctor, but who would have thought that he had not only upgraded his battle suit, but had made some new assistants to the battlefield!

"Great, now the rest of the day we're all on cleaning duty." Bumble Bee frowned at one of the leftover robot and zapped it quick with her golden weapon.

"C'mon y'all, the sooner we start clean up, the sooner the festivities can pick back up again." Cyborg tried cheering up the teens, but it didn't change the fact that the public were frightened from the doctor's attacks. While shuffling the robot parts Raven had a sudden epiphany.

"Starfire," said alien girl looked up at her friend. "Can you help me with something?"

"What can Starfire do to help my best friend?" the alien princess was eager to give Raven a helping hand, and Raven hoped this idea would workout.

(15 minutes later)

The beach crowd were being interviewed by the Jump City police about the battle about an hour ago, but when the captain made the choice to contact the Titans about Doctor Light-

"Look! Up there! In the sky!" the crowd watched a mysterious ball shot to the sky, but not before a small green light followed quickly behind it's tail.

BOOM!

Sparkles of bright light shined the sky before more black and green light followed, exploding into swirls of bright light. The crowd was in awe and soon the cheers of families and children echoed throughout the beach, watching the beautiful display of lights.

"Look at that one dad!"

"Look at the pretty green lights! I see purple and blue too!" the children pointed to the skies over the different colors that appeared over the beach. The captain had to hand it the the Titans, they sure know how to put on a quick show!

XXXXXXXXX

"I got to admit, that was pretty awesome what you pulled there! Great way of getting rid of the remains!"

Robin and Raven were watching the last of the fireworks Jump City had to offer for the last few hours of the holiday. Teen Titans East were staying for the after party Cyborg was happily hosting and cooking the remains for late dinner before the Titans East left. The two birds were standing next to the window looking at streaks of red, white, blue and yellow flew into the air creating different shapes and sizes. The party behind was going great and both birds had a good idea of watching the rest of the show in peace at the window.

"I figured we should have fun cleaning up Doctor Light's mess, it is after all a national holiday." Raven pulled off a soft smile. After Raven and Starfire's little show, the rest of the Titans worked together to make some fireworks of their own, right before the scheduled show started at nine, so Jump City enjoyed double the fireworks this year! Raven sipped her water from her cup still watching the firework display, but caught a tan hand brushing by her bare arm like a casual stretch. Raven appeared to roll her eyes at the display of affection, but she could already feel his signature touch by their special connection. He was stroking their connection, soft and gentle, before he sent a wave of heat that had Passion almost purring. Raven's dropped to a frown and turned to look away- now at the sudden coupling with the changeling and the earth bender.

Raven raised an eyebrow at the heated staring the changeling was giving and seeing Terra almost bashful was really new. BB was talking, almost creeping up into Terra's space but the blonde was not discouraging him. When she placed her hand on top of his with a bright smile, Raven could practically hear his heart hammering against his ribcage.

She was sure the whole tower could hear the pounding organ.

"Meet you at the roof in five." hot breath floated past her ear before the body next to her left for the kitchen table. A quick chat with the Titans before leaving for the elevator, a file from the police in hand. Raven decided to make him wait, tease him a little before going to their meeting spot.

Besides, a little socializing wouldn't hurt too much.

Let's see how many reviews this short gets, and I just might post what happens on the roof~

This just came to me to finish while typing a paper for school (wow! Two years). This chapter was suppose to be done months, I mean months ago, but I could never found a way to finish it.

Alright you ROBRAE fans, here's a preview of the story I've promised! Just a piece of what's to come before the first chapter! Had a few titles up in the air with this one, but I think I found a keeper. Please read and review, and don't forget to enjoy!

Now, again, I'm in school so don't expect another update soon. The inspiration to finish just hit me for the past two days. (Again, almost two years ago when I typed this. I am so far behind on RobxRae love here...)

Title: Do Not Forget Me

BOOM!

Lightning cracked through the sky with bullets of rain falling down on the bright city of Gotham. The time was rolling in late, but the city was still busy with making ends meet with late night shifts and last minute shopping. The Wayne Manor was as quiet as a church during prayer time, but no one inside was frightened by this normality, not even the black and white suited man walking up the stairs with his silver carrying tray.

Alfred walked down the red plush carpet, passing the multiple Wayne portraits and a few suites of armor before reaching one of the many wooden doors in the hallway. The metal hinges creaked a soft wail in the quiet room before Alfred walked inside. One lamp was lit inside, sitting next to the twin bed and it's occupant nestled underneath the plush sheets.

The other presence in the room turned to the door.

"Late night snack just as you asked Master Grayson." Alfred spoke softly before walking up to the young man sitting up top of the sheets. Richard smiled up at the butler before turning his attention back to the other occupant in the young master's room. The butler set down his tray and retrieved some wraps from inside his coat. "Here are some more wraps from the aid kit. You remember from last time I'm sure?" the young master nodded before gently pulling the blankets away from the sleeping body breathing ragged but soft breaths. A white towel was taken off the wet forehead before a small tan hand replaced it's place.

"Her forehead is still hot Alfred."

"Do not be discouraged Master Grayson, Miss Rachel has taken her medicine and now we must wait for her body to heal itself." the butler replaced the freshly squeezed towel from the bowl of cold water back onto the young pale girl's hot forehead, and a small shiver shook her body. Richard stared down his sleeping friend, upset that he couldn't do more but Alfred was right, he had to wait until tomorrow when hopefully Rachel would wake up right as rain!

CRACK!

BOOM!

The males in the room turned to the window being pelted by the harsh rain. The weather was getting worse outside and the vibes coming from the weather tickled Rachel's skin making her turn in her sleep.

"I believe it is past your bedtime young master. Do get some rest, even if it is Saturday tomorrow." Richard would have nodded in reply, but he was slowly feeling the drowsiness of staying up to watch Rachel sleep, just in case she decided to wake up.

"I'll turn in shortly Alfred. I promise." said butler nodded before leaving the young master's room. When the children were left alone, he frowned at Rachel's deep breathing. She stopped sweating so profoundly, and now she's shaking from the cold.

"Dick..." said boy leaned closer to the groan from his bed. Dull plum eyes blinked up at the shadow above her head, and slowly her vision turned clearer with the help of the bright blue eyes and equally bright smile looking down at her.

"Hey Rachel, glad to see you awake." Richard spoke softly, knowing that she might be suffering from a headache too. "It's late, but are you feeling hungry right now?"

The dark hair girl shook her head, her stomach not liking the sound of food. "No thank you, but my throat feels dry."

"Alfred made some hot cocoa! Would you like that?" Richard smile turned brighter now seeing Rachel smile softly back. A few minutes later and both the children were sitting in the twin bed with hot mugs of cocoa in each hand.

"I don't get how you can have that much marshmallows in one cup of hot chocolate. You are going to get a stomach ache from all that sugar." Rachel looked down at Richard's cup with an adult fistful of squishy sugar balls floating up top his cup.

"I'll burn it off with training tomorrow, but what III don't get is that you only want three little marshmallows in your cocoa- three-how can you enjoy hot chocolate with only three measly morsels?!" Richard watched Rachel sip her cup calmly before watching Richard take down his own hill of sugar.

"It's the perfect marshmallow ratio. The hot chocolate is already sweet enough, three marshmallows is the cherry on top, the finishing touch." Rachel shook her head when Richard missed a few marshmallows, a white-chocolate mustache formed over his top lip and Rachel giggled at the sight. "Nice new hairs Richard, growing your mustache so soon?"

"What can I say Rachel, I'm a grown man now-Look at my muscles!" Richard flex his left arm, showing off his small bicep muscle that made Rachel giggled louder. Richard posed again, like a body builder would in front of the camera and despite the slight sting from sickness Rachel laughed even more-

BOOOM!

Both children screamed from the bright flash and big boom the growing storm outside. The rain was pouring harder and the trees dance faster with the harsh winds. Rachel shivered, hugging herself from the growing cold.

"I'm cold Richard."

"Let's turn in okay?" Richard took both their mugs and placed them on the serving tray before switching off the lamp. Pulling the thick comforters over their small bodies, Richard laid a gentle hand over the cover on top of Rachel's shivering body. "Feel better?"

"A little better..." her voice soft, her body still trembling from the roaring storm outside. Richard turned to his left to switch on a few settings beside his bed.

"I turned on the electric blanket, give it a minute Rach-it will get warmer. Here, this might help too." he pulled the comforters over their heads so the storm could be heard less.

"Ok." The room was quiet, and Rachel's scratchy breathing was Richard could hear underneath the covers. He hated seeing her sick and miserable, but it's been a few days now. Her fever should pass on hopefully tomorrow, he hoped. Seeing her sad made him sad. He had to cheer her up somehow.

"Hey Richard?"

"Yeah Ranchhead-" Rachel opened her mouth to ask him something, but stopped to look up at him in disbelief!

"Ranchhead?! Really Richard?"

"What? I think that's the best nickname for you. No one else has that nickname-"

"That's because no one would want that ridiculous name-"

"See, its perfect!"

"Richard don't call me that. Pick a better nickname than that!"

"I don't see the problem with that."

"How did ranchhead come to mind when you think of me?! My hair is not white to begin with-"

"Yeah but you're so pale so it suite you just fine."

"If that's the case, ranchgirl would better suited for-" Rachel slapped her hands over her mouth, but Richard was all smiles now after that.

"Ranchgirl? I would have never thought that. Hmmmm, rolls off the tongue nicely. I like it." Richard rubbed his chin in thought of the new name, while Rachel groaned in her hands. What had she done? Played right into his hands.

"Richard, don't do it."

"But it was very creative Ranchgirl. My compliments to your awesome thinking."

"Alright Richie Rich-"

"OOoo! Like I haven't heard that one before."

"No more Ranchgirl, and no Ranchhead either, or I will find the dictionary and hit you with it!" Rachel hissed the last part, and Richard had to bite his lip from laughing but Rachel was making very hard with her snarky voice. Not to mention her sore throat made her croak loudly.

"Now Ranchgirl, you know that's no way to be treating Alfred's books like that."

"I will get the biggest book he's got- and you know how big that dictionary is up on the second floor!"

"Instead of hitting me with books, why not take up training with me, and then I won't call you Ranchgirl anymore. Promise."

The room was silent for a few minutes, then Rachel turned towards the window her back to Richard. He hoped he had not pushed her too much. He knew she was still recovering.

"When I get better, I'm kicking your butt in training. So be prepared." Richard smiled so big- he had been encouraging Rachel to train alongside him for some time, and it would be much more fun to have someone his age to train with. How exciting was that?

"Wouldn't miss it!" Richard curled into the covers and easily slipped into sleep.

Waiting for only a few minutes, hearing the soft snoring of her neighbor, Rachel turned to see floofy raven hair poking out from the comforters. She softly smiled, feeling his positive warmth throughout the storm still brewing outside. Richard; The medicine she truly needed through this harsh fever she has been going through for days.

No, for years. This sickness she has been cursed with, even before arriving to Gotham and welcomed into the grand home of the Wayne family, has her health rocking worse than a ship at sea. She knew she had a gift, and it was to be kept secret, the "child of prophecy" they called her, but she did not know why she was so important. So special that she had to be separated from her mother. Her father was never in her life so she never worried about him, but she did wonder why he left them in the first place. She pushed that thought aside and looked at the center of her little world.

She could feel her energy rejuvenating every time she talked to Richard. He was the healing balm to her lonely heart. It was never hard to smiled when Richard talked to her or wanted to show off about what he learned in martial arts or performed an acrobatic move. It was unfair, she finally had someone to call a friend, her only friend in this big lonely world but once she was healthy again she would have to leave the Wayne manor. For her own special training. She did not have the heart to break the news to him, how could she?

How could she tell him how "special" she really was?

to be continued...
