Donald and Leo did not react well to Chase brining Douglas up to the lab. Adam wasn't completely sure what was going on the whole time, but Tasha had grasped the situation immediately.

"No!" yelled Donald. "You can't trust him Chase, I'm telling you. He's crazy. Get him back in his cell before he does something we all regret."

"Come on Donny, can't we put our differences aside to find my daughter?"

"She's not your daughter!"

"She's not yours either!"

"She's my daughter!" yelled Tasha, joining in the scream fest. Everyone stopped, surprised. "I might have only met her a year ago, but she is my daughter. I love her, and she's mine, and I don't care what you do to get her back Donald, but you'd better find her soon or else."

Donald looked at his wife, terror in his eyes. Then he slowly nodded.

"Fine, but he's coming handcuffed."

"I'm not letting your handcuff me."

"Fine! But stay out of my sight or I might have to shoot you."

"If you shoot me I can't help you."

"There are plenty of non-vital places I could shoot where you could still do what I need you to do."

Douglas glared at his brother. Adam and Chase exchanged a look. Chase knew he hated his brother, but he could never imagine threatening to shoot him, and he could never imagine Adam threatening him. Chase wondered what happened to the Davenport bond of brotherhood to push Donald and Douglas to this point.

"Where do you think she is?" asked Donald.

"I know she's gone to her mothers. Her biological mother. She'll want to confront her for the pain she felt as a child."

"Fine, then we're going there. Now."

Bree stood outside a small house in the suburbs. The night wind was chilly, but her ponding heart was keeping her warm. She had been standing here for the last few hours, just watching. She was sure that if anyone had seen her they would be suspicious by now, but she had kept herself hidden. Her training with Mr. Davenport had prepared her for this.

She had been standing there for so long to prepare herself for her attack, but also in an attempt to clear her mind. She knew she had to do this; she had to face the woman who had hurt her so much. But she also wanted to Be sure she didn't do something she would regret.

Finally, she took a long breath and began to make her way towards the house. A night bird called out into the night, and the wind picked up as she made her way to the front porch. Bree didn't have time to worry if these were signs from Mother Nature to turn back. She was too focused on her goal to let the drop in temperature or nature-warning sounds affect her.

Bree made her way up the front steps, her footfalls falling dully on the aged wood. She made her way across the porch to the entrance. She lifted her hand and placed it on the door.

Bree contemplated knocking the door in. All the anger and pain in her heart was pushing her to the edge of rationality. But, she knew that destruction was not something she was trying to accomplish in this visit. So instead, she lifted her hand and formed a fist to knock.

Her knocks echoed throughout the house, and through the night. At first, Bree was afraid no one was home. Then she heard shuffling from the other side of the door.

Bree waited painstakingly as the shuffling came closer. She had plenty of time; she had waited over ten years, a few more minutes would not affect her pain.

When the door opened, Bree didn't speak at first. She peered into the murky shadows of the house, trying to get a closer look.

"What do you want?" asked a crude voice.

Bree jumped back. Out from the depths behind the front door emerged a decrepit woman. The lady could not have been more then forty, but her premature wrinkles made her look much older. She was wearing a tight top and very gaudy jewelry that made her look like she had just come from a late night in Vegas. As she moved closer, the strong smell of cigarette smoke and alcohol hit Bree.

"Hello, mom."
