"I'm telling you, this is the address."
"Are you sure?"
"Of course I'm sure, I'm always sure."
"Well even if you're always sure, you're not always right."
"Is this about he failed nuclear generator again? I told you, I'm sorry. I thought I had those calculations right."
"Of course you did."
"I did!"
"So are you as sure now that this is the right address? What if she moved?"
"Well then Bree wouldn't know that either, and she'd still be here, right?"
"I don't care who's sure about what, just get out there and get my daughter back!" Tasha's angry voice put an end to the brother's squabbling.
Donald parked the car on the side of the street and got out. The rest of the family followed suit.
They made their way cautiously up to the house Douglas had pointed out. The house looked old and worn, and seemed to hold a strong sense of disparity.
The family had been planning to bust their way in to find Bree, but it appeared they didn't have to go that far. As they made their way to the front of the house, Low stopped them.
"Look," he said, pointing to a figure sitting on the curb a few feet away. "I think that's her."
The group made their way forward. In the dim streetlights, Bree's hair face became visible.
"I knew you guys would come," said Bree as they grew closer. She didn't even turn around.
"Of course we would, sweetie," said Tasha. She was the first to sit down beside her daughter, and the others gathered around them. "We would always come for you."
"I know," said Bree. And at last she looked at them. "I know you love me."
"We do," said Chase.
"We always will."
Bree looked back at the house behind them.
"What happened?" asked Donald. Bree shrugged.
"Nothing. I told her I must have had the wrong house. There was nothing I could have said to her that would have made a difference."
"So you didn't some here to get revenge?"
Bree shrugged again. "I think whatever I could have done to her wouldn't be worse then what she's already done to herself."
There was a moment of silence, then Tasha took the time to step in.
"Bree, your first mother might not have been the great, but your have a new family now, and you have me. I hope I can be a better mother to you."
"You are Tasha, trust me," said Bree. She took a deep breath, then sighed. "Let's go home."
