[Can we not mention spelling errors and punctuation issues? Because yes I know that I have them. All of my stories are unbeta'd. Also I try and check as I go, but again I work quickly to try and get these chapters out. It was already months since this one had been updated.I just wanted to complete this fast while on the road in the back seat. I appreciate you telling me that I missed the not so bad spelling errors, but I already know that they are there.]
Three whole years had passed since that faithful day in Norway.
Harry and Draco had since gotten married and for the first year lived in the Norwegian Dragon Sanctuary straightening things out there. All of the Dragons had to be re identified and then some other things had to be done. Such as re arranging sanctuaries and taming more of the aggressive Dragons. Harry had been the ideal candidate with that since he was so good with the Dragons.
Though it helped that he could speak to them and work out their issues. Most days Harry felt like a Dragon therapist. Though he still enjoyed it.
Harry got a new name. He wasn't the chosen one anymore. He wasn't the boy who lived. Now he was known as the Dragon Whisperer, and that was just peachy. Harry would rather not have a whole wizarding world placing their lives in his hands.
Draco went happily where ever Harry did. They were inseparable, and that was only to be expected with them being Mates.
Draco took to the Dragons as well. The hatchlings especially liked him and his white blond hair. One of them even compared it to unicorn hair which Draco laughed at. There was even one little Ridgeback hatchling that kept trying to jump the enclosure and follow Draco home. Harry almost let it, but the Ministry would of had a fit.
'Just because you can talk to them doesn't mean we can just let you have one for a pet. If we let you than everyone is going to want one.'
Harry and Draco felt like children being scolded by the Minister but they just laughed it off and stayed longer at the Sanctuary to be with the dragons.
After the first year, and into their second year in the Sanctuary something amazing happened. It was something that only happened once in a hundred years, sometimes even rarer.
A child was conceived by two same sex parents. Harry and Draco were expecting their first child. Draco happily carried the pregnancy and they were both overjoyed when they found out that it wasn't just one that was growing in Draco's newly formed magic based womb.
There were twins in Draco's belly. A little girl and boy patiently waited till the day that they could be welcomed into the world.
When that day came the whole of the wizarding world celebrated the birth of Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy's first born. Talilah Hadrian Belladonna Potter named to remember Hadrian further and one of Draco's ancestors that had been known as being the strongest witch of her generation. Then there was second born by only a minute, Albus Severus James Potter. Named of course for obvious reasons. They were both blond to Harry and Draco's surprise. A strawberry blond that made them look so sweet.
While the hair color had surprised them, the state of that hair had not. Both of them had the most unruly messy curls that any Potter could be proud of. They were Harry and Draco's cherub children.
After they were born Harry and Draco moved the family to 12 Grimmauld place. Kreature who Harry was sure would hate them actually did not mind them. Well at first he ignored them, but after a year with them it was clear that the grumpy little elf had a soft spot for the pair. He even moved his room (Harry had long since freed the elf and gave him a room since he refused to live and work anywhere but the Black house.) so that he could be closer to their as they slept to protect them. Though no one dared try and take the children of Harry Potter.
It had been three years, and now Harry and Draco were celebrating the second birthday of their twins. Everyone was there. Narcissa, Molly and Arthur who had always loved Harry, and begged him to forgive them for their children. Which of course Harry did. They had done nothing wrong, and Harry still loved them. The last remaining Weasley twin made an appearance as well. He brought with him his wife and children which were all too eager to have new people to try out their tricks. Just like their father. Blaise and Zacharias came as well. They had not been so luck as to be one of the rare mates of the same sex that could conceive.
Though neither of them wanted to carry a child for nine months anyways. They came to the birthday party with news that they were on the list to adopt a magical child if ever one fell to the misfortune of being orphaned/abandoned. Blaise felt terrible waiting for such a thing to happen, but he also felt good that he and Zacharias were there to help a child who would need it.
"Harry!" Someone called to him as he was kissing Talilah and ticking her. They had taken the party to a large park with tables and a play structure for the children. They had proper give from the Ministry so that they warded it. It was a necessity since they would have children not yet able to control any magical mishaps.
Harry spun around with the baby girl in his arms. Talilah gave squeals of "Baby!" As the woman came closer with an infant in her arms and a three year old hooked to her leg.
"Hermione!" Harry yelled after seeing her. He rushed to the woman that he hadn't seen since he broke, and that was eight years ago. Ron didn't want to see him. That was sad, but Harry knew that he would choose family (Ginny) over Harry. Though he wished it differently there was nothing to do about it.
He thought that Hermione was siding with her husband, and it seemed that today she stopped being that following house wife. "I'm so glad to see you." Harry said hugging her and pulling back so Talilah could get a better look at the red headed boy in Hermione's arm.
"Baby. Daddy who this?" The little girl asked with curious ashy green eyes. Harry kissed her again shifting her weight in his arms.
"This baby girl is your God Mother Hermione Weasley-"
"Granger." Hermione interrupted with a little smile. He could see the regret in the smile. "Me and Ron split. We had to. Irreconcilable differences, and frankly his temper was getting frightening." Harry nodded understanding.
"This is your God Mother and her children." The little girl reached out to touch the little boys hand.
"I keep him?" She asked causing both of the adults to laugh loudly.
"No! Hugo is Roses!" The little girl holding onto Hermione's leg protested starting up hard at Talilah. For a moment Harry thought that Talilah and Rose would start bickering at each other. Though Talilah just smiled and reached down for the girl. Harry let her down on little toddler feet and she hugged the girl.
"Okay. We share." Talilah giggled and for all Rose wanted to be angry she liked the birthday girl. "Okay." Rose agreed before they were both called by Albus who had been given a little broomstick that wouldn't go more than a few inches off the ground. Draco currently fretting as he walked after the little boy on the slow moving broom.
"Your children are precious Harry." Hermione told him reaching to rest a hand on his arm. "I'm so glad that I came to see you. I've missed you so much. I'm so sorry that I never did anything to help you. Ronald just… we weren't as in love as we though it seemed. His mother is so angry with him. I-" Hermione tried to go on but Harry just gave her a forgiving look and hugged her again just as Molly called for her. Molly still considered Hermione family. Always would. Plus the woman loved her red headed grandchildren.
"Go see her. We have forever to catch up." Harry promised her. Hermione gave him a tearful smile but went to her second mother. For that was what Molly always acted as. Harry watched her go until familiar arms circled his waist and he was leaning into the comfort.
"Your son is a natural on that blasted thing. I think we have a future Quiddich player on our hands. Talilah too. Look at them." Draco said softly hooking his chin over Harry's shoulder as they both turned to look. Rose was clinging on behind Talilah as they zipped around after Albus. All three of them were giggling.
"I love you." Harry smiled turning his head so that Draco could meet his lips in a small chaste kiss.
"I love you too. Always will." Draco promised. "You've made me the happiest man in the world." There was a shared comfortable silence between the two as they watched their children chasing after another. Laughing as another red headed child came into the mix George having brought extra brooms with the ones that he gave the twins.
Blaise mediated after the three brooms and the four children zipping around on them making sure no one out right killed another. Harry had the greatest since of peace wash over him. He had people gathered that loved him. He had two health children, a loving Mate. He had a true family in these people gathered, and he wouldn't change anything that happened to him. Not even the worst things because without them Harry didn't think that he would end up here with Draco.
"What are you thinking?" Draco asked him after a moment longer. Harry placed his hands gently over the arms encircling him.
"I was thinking how grateful I am to have all of this. You, our family and friends gathered. That our two children are happy and healthy."
"Three." Draco whispered with a smile in his soft voice.
"Excuse me?" Harry questioned his Scottish lit stronger in his confusion. He turned around to face Draco whose arms never left Harry. The blonde man smiled again cocking his head a little to the side.
"I said, Three. Three happy healthy children, or soon to be." Draco grinned willing Harry to understand, and Harry did. Excitedly he wrapped his arms around Draco's waist spinning him around with a grand kiss.
"We're having another baby!" Harry exclaimed loudly, and the people at the nearby tables clapped and whooped and gave their congratulations as the pair kissed. Blaise shouted something about bunnies, but Harry was too happy to care.
"I wasn't sure for a little, but I had it all checked out with the hospital. Healthy growing baby boy. Just the one this time." Draco laughed as he received another kiss.
Yes. Harry was definitely whole and happy. Just as he should be, and just like he will be for so long as he had his little family.
[Alright. This is definitely the end. I'm really sorry that it took this long to finish it, but I just lost some inspiration for this story. Though I feel that this little short wrap up was a simple thing, good thing. I hope you enjoyed the story and I hope to see good reviews : ) thanks for everything so far. ]
