AN: Here's the next compilation. Chapter 9-11

Chapter 9: Mind Link

Rachel was hovering with the grace and ferocity of the omega-level mutant, Jean Grey, as she entertained Juggernaut with per Psi- attacks. Blaine called her attention. Rachel noticed them and she used her Telekinesis to hurl a gigantic piece of debris into the Juggernaut to stun him for a while. Rachel flew to them and hugged the members she knew and introduced herself to Marley, Kitty and Jake.

Blaine was about to ask her some questions about Kurt but Juggernaut started becoming active again so Rachel told them that they need to take him down, fast. Blaine chose Tina to help take out the Praefectus that accompany Juggernaut. Rachel asked Blaine (who was still in his Generalist outfit) if he'd be okay with being Mind Link-ed for protection since Tina and Rachel had low HP even at full health. Blaine agreed and Rachel used her Mind Link ability on him, patching their thoughts together.

While in the influence of the Mind Link, Blaine started seeing Kurt's experience post-breakup through Rachel's experiences. Blaine saw how Kurt cursed him for cheating on him like that. Blaine saw him second guess himself if he wanted to do the same and call up people to spite Blaine, maybe Chandler, or the guy from Vogue that seemed to be flirting with him. Rachel discouraged Kurt form doing that and Blaine saw how Kurt spat at Rachel for having Brody and hurting his step-brother's heart. Rachel was silenced and went out of the room while Kurt picked up the phone and contacted Karofsky.

Back on the fight, Tina was having problems taking out the Praefectus as they kept on healing themselves and Juggernaut. Mike was scared for the fight since he still believed they were too under leveled for the fight. Kitty asked Artie why they don't just gang up on the villains but Artie answered by shooting a rocket towards the fight and seeing a force field act up to abolish it.

Blaine saw Rachel pack her things to go to Lima to see Finn. Rachel asked Kurt if he wanted to go with her but Kurt was just shut down. Rachel called up Brody to keep an eye on Kurt since she was afraid of what Kurt might do.

Blaine used his Wiccan Staff (one of the weapon rewards he got in the spec ops tasks) to take out one of the Praefectus and heal himself from the damages he received. Rachel, being Mind-Linked with Blaine, also saw glimpses of Finn especially the recent ones of him acting weird with his Thor-rized personality.

Blaine sees through the Mind Link Rachel talking on the phone with Brody. Brody told her that Kurt tried to make a move on him but nothing happened. Brody talked to him and told him about his ex-girlfriend back in his hometown and how they broke up. Brody wanted to the same thing Kurt did but he knew it wouldn't do anything good.

Blaine saw Kurt and Rachel comforting one another after they visited Lima for Grease. How they made a no boys pact for now like what they saw in a Friends re-run a couple weeks ago. Blaine then saw Kurt and Rachel prior thanksgiving; lounging on their apartment eating take-out spring rolls and pizza watching reruns of the Bachelor and mocking the girls for being a victim of love. He saw them at Callbacks, singing cheesy break-up songs and just enjoying themselves, trying to forget their problems. But the last scene Blaine saw was Rachel peeking in Kurt's room, seeing Kurt holding his phone and a picture of Blaine, contemplating whether to call him or not. Rachel barged in and told Kurt that he needed proper closure. Kurt just wasn't sure yet what he wanted to say so he just ended up calling Karofsky again.

Tina took out the last Praefectus and the match became three to one, though Blaine is not at very critical health. Juggernaut attacks again and Blaine failed to dodge it. His life is reduced to zero and he blanks out and feels immense pain. He then feels a burning sensation but instead of damaging, it felt like it was restoring his life.

Rachel sprouted phoenix wings and with sheer anger, unleashed her Phoenix Fire attack, destroying the Juggernaut. Blaine took experimental steps after the match. He felt "alive" but he did see and feel the effects of a death in the game and it was agonizing and without Phoenix's revive ability, who knew where he would be right now. The squad approached and made sure Blaine was okay, Rachel felt extremely guilty for forcing him to protect. Blaine said he was okay and that it was an effective strategy.

The squad headed back to their jet but before they went, Rachel pulled Blaine out for a small favor. She asked Blaine to take care of Finn and make sure he's okay if they ever meet again. She also told Blaine that the epic boss was here somewhere but they needed the help of Thor and Scarlet Witch to uncover the boss's whereabouts. Blaine promised Rachel and thanked her for the information.

As Blaine boarded, Blaine felt that feeling of the Mind Link again and saw another scene, of Rachel sobbing in his bed as she thought of Finn.

Chapter 10: Burn Out

Blaine goes into frenzy in farming and doing missions; even exploiting his energy reserves of small energies. He wanted to finish the special operations as soon as possible so he could finally solve different problems. His and Kurt, Rachel with Finn, and maybe even the reason they're in the game. His Warbler mates are on full term research mode as well, headed by Wes as he thinks something's up with the game as well.

Blaine's squad has vastly improved in terms of level and attacks and he can now confidently bring in the newbies on missions alone without the help of Tina, Mike or Artie. Artie used this extra time to formulate and think of his hypothesis on the game. He noticed a common occurrence between the times the game "glitches", those are usually the times that a small maintenance happen or CVEs (Combat Validation Errors happen). Tike though used the time to revive their relationship and almost planned to do the deed when Commander Fury Sylvester caught them and had them doing jumping jacks by first saliva-filled scream.

Blaine got back from another mission with a prototype of the Sorcerer's Tome which he needs to upgrade with the research team first for the gear's full potential. As he walked back to the base with his team, he suddenly felt a crippling pain and collapsed.

He woke up in his cabin with a splitting headache. He was about to get up when he felt arms placing him back to his bed. It was Wes. Wes told him that according to Miss Clearwater (Agent Maria Hill), he burnt out all his energy reserves which made him collapse for a long time. Blaine asked Wes if they could research something that gives him infinite energy or something along those lines. Wes scolded Blaine for wanting to cheat the game and called his behavior unfitting for a Warbler and compared him to the likes of Hunter and Sebastian. Blaine was speechless and though he wanted to retort, he knew Wes was right. Wes told him that they upgraded the gear but told him to only use it when he's fully rested as it is a strong gear that drains a lot of stamina. Blaine obeyed Wes's orders and went back to sleep.

Artie was in his room with some counterfeit computer he built with the help of Mike and Dave (who apparently knew a lot about technology thanks to his being Colossus). He found out that a massive maintenance check was about to hit the game, something that would cripple the game for more than a day and he wasn't liking the idea if his guess proved correct.

Artie ended up going to a place he swore he wouldn't go to in the Hellicarrier. He opened the door to find Jeff and Nick working on some new weapon and asked them where their head is, since they needed to talk.

Another cut scene happens between the two unknown individuals. The first one told the other, who is revealed to be Mephisto, the updates on Agent Anderson's condition and how close they are at recruiting a new hero for the special operations. Mephisto was happy the plan was going well and that he told the other person that the dimension rifts he's been making are going smoothly as well. Opening up New York to the realm of the Jotuns. The other person just told Mephisto to make sure that the most important dimension rift happens in the proper time in which the villain replied that he never fails to deliver a contract.

Chapter 11: Tag Team

Blaine woke up to find a bag containing 20 command points on his trunk with a tag saying daily spin reward. He took it without thinking and added it to his pile. They continued doing missions till they reached the 90 cp mark and with that, they agreed to recruit Finn already.

They headed back to the Hellicarier to see Finn there in his Thor outfit talking to Coach Sue. Coach commented that the mammoth-sized Gerber baby was too weird even for Glee's level and told Blaine to fix things since she doesn't feel like picking on special people. Finn was still his Thor self but Blaine had an idea to restore him.

The group took the red spec ops jet and went back to Utopia. Mercedes and Kurt weren't there for the Avalanche fight this time around but they managed to defeat him. When they reached Rachel again, Blaine chose Finn to help out. Rachel was surprised to see Finn all dazed and serious-looking. Blaine told Rachel to use the Mind Link on Finn and maybe that will restore Finn's memories. The plan worked and Finn was back to his goofy, charming and intellectually challenged self. Blaine placed a Counter Strike on Finn to make sure he counters all attacks directed at him and with that, they defeated Juggernaut again.

Finn and Rachel reunite much to the happiness of the squad. Kitty was making gag sounds and calling them names like Lurch hitting on Wednesday on happy pills but even she was secretly glad for them. They tried doing some of the specific deploy missions but they still came up with the same conclusion that they needed Scarlet Witch and her ability to track distortion fields to reveal the location of the epic boss.

Rachel was saddened to see them leave, especially since she was finally reunited with Finn but they had to for the rules of the game. Finn promised to return again and things would once again be better.

AN: That's the rough plot draft for the three chapters. I'll update with 12-14 next time. Hopefully before September hits.
