RAINFALL

Livewire lands behind this new Superman cautiously. She noticed that his stature is different than that of the original even from a distance. His body frame is smaller, his hair shorter, and the most obvious. He's younger than the real deal.

A clone of some sort? Or perhaps, could it be that this is supermans child? Did Kal-El create a replacement should he die? If Superman knew that he was going to die one day, creating a clone or a genetic creation to protect the people of the world... It would be a smart idea. But surely he would have told someone.

And by now... after such a long time with having a world without a superman... someone would have had to say something about another big blue flying around.

However... looking at this young kid... his suit is even different from the real one. If this really was a replacement from Superman. Then he would no doubt be wearing the same suit as the original.

"You know i can hear you back there."

He turns around slowly, looking at Livewire. His expression calm and collected. His demeanor relaxed as he comes closer to the pale white woman. A soft smile graces his lips as he looks into her ocean blue eyes.

Gently he runs his fingers through her short blue hair, feeling a shudder of electricity run through his hand.

"It tickles a bit. Touching you."

Slowly he folds his arms, his attention fully focused on her while he admires her looks. He wonders to himself about how brilliantly the light hits her skin-tight leather suit. A desire to touch her begins to rise within him, only to be crushed by his self-control.

After all. If the real Superman is gone now... He must live up to the originals every feat. Right down to the amazing self-control he had shown every day. Just because he can do something, doesn't mean that he should.

"S- Superman? I mean... Are you Superman? You look kind of like him... but... you're young and... the suit your wearing... It's black, blue, and red... You're really different."

Looking up and down at him she admires his body. And the fresh youthfulness he gives off. A desire to touch him begins to build within her. The young Supermans' sexual vibe can be felt by her.

This young imposter... or child of Superman... he can feel her heart racing. As his begins to beat a bit faster as well. The urge to touch her becoming more and more difficult at every moment. The fact that she's wearing skin-tight leather that hides nothing and leaves nothing to the imagination doesn't help. One doesn't even need any X-ray vision to guess what lays behind the thin clothing.

"I'm not that Superman. To be honest... I don't really remember where I came from. All I know is that I'm here to help. I want to help this city. These people. This world. I want to help protect everyone and everything."

He takes a step forward and places his hand on the small of her back. His eyes locked onto her as they share a sensual gaze. Livewire would have never imagined herself in this type of situation. She always saw big blue as the enemy. That they shared no sexual attraction. No desire for one another.

But... this guy right here... this is way too different. And... starting to get a little personal. And a little too close for comfort.

"Wow, now kid."

She says in a surprised protest as her hands press up against his chest trying to create some distance between them both. However, she fails instantly as she notices it's like trying to release herself from a human-sized vice grip.

The young Superman notices that she's trying to distance herself and he lets her take a few steps from him. Ready to listen to the beautiful white woman. He wonders if he had done something wrong, not wanting to scare her away, but more rather attract her. He finds her... very much to his own liking.

"Do you even know who I am? Do you even know who you are?"

He looks down in sadness. A little defeated. Knowing that his answers to her questions... are going to land on a heavy heart. If she tries to gather information about him just to be able to figure out who he is and where he comes from... or even what he is...

Nothing... He knows nothing even of himself.

"I... I'm sorry but... I don't know. I don't know you. Or remember myself. I don't remember anything."

That, hearing this response from this young Superman... Shocks her right down to the very core of Livewire. This kid... He might hold all of Superman's powers. And none of his memories. On top of that... he obviously likes her.

This right here... Could be a very beautiful opportunity. More than she could ever hope for. This here now is a second gift that life has given her. Her first was the power of lightning. Now the second... This Superman has a crush on her. She would be a fool not to take it.

"Well, that's pretty bad. That means really... you don't know who you can trust. No one to help you or take care of you when you need a helping hand. That isn't something that sits well with me. Tell you honestly... It makes me feel bad for you."

He looks a bit uncomfortable when she speaks those sentences. Those words... they cut deep. He understands that she is just observing his current situation. But nobody likes it when someone points out the vulnerability of one's situation.

"But you don't need to worry kid. I'll help you out. I kind of like you. You're pretty cute. How about it? Wanna come home with me?"

She says it as if it was her old friend. Or rather, a future boyfriend. Her future boyfriend. And she understands that the longer they stay out in the open. The more likely it's going to be, that one of the other supers will spot him. Even worse, she's right there with him.

"Well... Y- yes... I would like that very much. I have so many questions... If you can help me-"

His voice... trembling with worry. His tone, honest and has a gentleness to it that resembles that of a child.

"Trust me. I know more about you than you would ever imagine. But I can't help you here. We need to go to my place. I can't stay out in the rain."

She hops up into the air and begins to float, with him rising into the air as she gently takes his hand. Guiding him to follow her wherever she goes.

"I can't call you Superman since really... there is a whole story behind why I can't do that. So we'll deal with that later. But right now, just follow me as best you can."

With those words, a bright flash is seen by this young Superman... This young imitation of the man of steel. He watches her take off at breakneck speed. But for him... following her is childs play.

Tonight. Livewire is going to make sure to seal the deal with this new Man Of Tomorrow. The world will know soon enough...
