A/N-There is no time jump. Lots of fluff coming up for the next couple of chapters. Enjoy.
Olivia was sitting on the porch enjoying their home in Vermont. Her recovery had a little hiccup when she got an infection. She had to spend several days in the hospital, but she was better.
She was sitting outside alone, because she had a lot on her mind. Well her husband on her mind. From the moment she was kidnapped he had become a single dad.
He had not complained one bit about his new role. He took care of her, the children, and their business without blinking. He had some help of course, but he handled the bulk of it on his own.
She knew why some mornings he spent a lot of time in the bathroom, or sometimes she would turn over and he wouldn't be in bed. Just this morning she woke up around three to an empty bed. She quietly went over to the bathroom where she heard him jacking himself off.
She knew that her body needed to heal, but she felt like she was failing her husband. Two days ago she was given the green light to return to her regular activities.
That night they tried, but Olivia was tired. She had therapy earlier in the day, and her body was just not back to being 100%. Fitz assured her that they were fine.
She knew they were, but she felt like she was slacking as his wife. She needed to do something about that.
The door opened and her mom walked outside and sat beside her. Olivia put her head in her lap. She loved that despite the fact she was an adult, a wife, and mother she still had these moments with her mom. She did with Sam. She hoped she would have this relationship with all of her children.
Maya asked, "What's wrong?"
"What makes you think that something is wrong?"
"I know you. Also I heard Fitz on the phone."
Olivia sat up.
Maya grabbed her hand, "Calm down. He checks in with Dr. Sherry periodically. Liv he is only worried about you."
"Yeah, and I am worried about him."
"Why?"
"Mom, how much longer can I expect my husband to handle everything before he breaks?"
"Good thing your husband isn't about to break."
"Mom, I'm serious."
"So am I. Liv, I get that you are concerned. I know why, but I have talked to him. I wouldn't lie to you baby. That man wakes up every morning with you beside him, and that his enough. A lot of people don't take their vows seriously. You both do. In sickness and in health. His hands have been full. More than they had to be, but I can only respect a man who wants to take care of his family."
Olivia was quiet.
Maya made her look at her, "Liv, we are proud of you. I don't think I have made this clear, but I am so proud of the children we raised. You don't give yourself enough credit. You are a survivor, and you risked your life for your family and others. We don't take that lightly. Fitz doesn't take that lightly. You don't take lightly the sacrifices he has made. You both miss each other, but I promise you that your relationship is intact and strong."
Maya held Olivia while she cried. She had never been one to cry even when she was younger. No real reason, but it felt good to be in her mother's arm able to let go.
Olivia finally composed herself, "I forgot to ask you, but were you able to take care of what I asked you."
Maya nodded, "Yes baby. Your dads did the bulk of the work so thank them."
"I will. I'm glad that you found someone who really loves you mom. It is nice to have a dad after all these years. An available dad I should say."
Maya looked away which Olivia noticed.
"What's wrong mom?"
"Nothing. Just ashamed. I should have left your dad, but I thought I was doing the right thing although I knew he was only dedicated to work and his secretary."
Olivia grabbed her mom's hand, "There is no reason for you to feel ashamed. You made a decision. The truth is he was rarely there, and you took care of everything. It doesn't matter anymore. We got it right in the end."
Maya agreed. They did have it right.
Two days later everything was set.
When Fitz woke up that morning Olivia was already dressed. He saw that she had laid clothes out for him. He smiled because he could tell she was happy, and she looked like herself again.
Olivia could feel him looking at her. She turned around. "Good Morning Baby"
He smiled, "Hi Livvie. What's going on?"
"Nothing. We have somewhere to be. I need you to shower and dress. We are leaving."
"Why?"
"Do you trust me?"
"You don't even have to ask."
"Then just get ready baby please."
He nodded and did as he was asked.
An hour later they were saying good-bye to the kids.
Sheldon was upset.
Olivia went over to him, "You know that daddy has been working to take care of us lately right."
He nodded.
"Well daddy deserves a break, and that he gets pampered on for taking good care of us, and getting us this nice house."
"I know mommy. I thought we were going on vacation together."
"We are baby. Remember mommy and daddy said we were going to take you to Boston."
He nodded
"We are still doing that next week. Mommy & Daddy will meet you there, and we will start our family vacation with one of your requests. Nothing has changed but mommy and daddy getting away."
Sheldon was relieved. Now he was happy, and was more than okay to let them go.
After saying their goodbyes they made it to the car, and the short distance to the air strip where Tom was waiting for the couple.
They shared a long embrace with Tom.
They hadn't been in the air long, and Fitz could no longer take it.
"Livvie, can you tell me something?"
She smiled. She was impressed that he lasted this long. She knew she wouldn't have.
"When Jerome and Nate were at the house before I was taken I overhead you talking to them about your life while I was with Jake."
His head went down.
She stood up and climbed in his lap, and he looked up at her.
She continued, "You told them that you had a friend that forced you to take a trip with them to get your mind off things. It had the opposite effect, but not in the way you thought. You stayed in a beautiful home, and had a great time. You also sat by the beach, and thought about us. You said you could see us married, there relaxing. Real estate is cheap there so you wanted to buy a house like the one you stayed in, while we worked and raised our family we would go there maybe once a year. Until we retired we would rent it out. Once we retired we would spent at least three months there, because it feels like paradise to you."
Tear were falling down both of their faces.
He whispered, "We are going to Panama."
She nodded and whispered, "We are going to Panama"
Everything shifted at that moment.
They were in auto pilot. Tearing their clothes off each other as best they could.
Neither could wait any longer.
Fitz lifted her up, and she sank down on his cock.
Both of them sighing. They missed each other. They needed each other.
They stared into each other's eyes as they moved in sync. It was an erotic slow dance. Although it was just the two of them on the jet they were quiet.
The only thing you could hear was heavy breathing, and low moans.
It felt like the first time all over again. Fitz allowed Olivia to control the pace. They were whispering how much they loved each other.
Fitz knew they were close, and he could tell she was getting tired so he grabbed her waist.
She smiled and nodded. Loving that he always knew what she wanted and needed.
He picked up the pace, and did all the work.
She tried to hold on, but his strokes hit her g-spot each and every time, and she quickly came undone.
He wanted to make her cum again, but he couldn't hold out. He emptied his seed inside his wife.
They held onto each other as they slowly came back to earth.
Fitz pulled back, "You okay sweet baby?"
"Never better."
The couple snuggled and took a nap before getting buckled back in for landing.
When they got off the jet Fitz was surprised to see Lauren.
She smiled at them and they shared a long embrace.
She handed the keys to Olivia, "Everything has been handled."
Tom followed behind them as they headed to the house. When they pulled up Fitz looked around. It looked so familiar.
They stepped out. Fitz looked across the street. He remembered that house. A corporate executive from Microsoft owned the house, but the house they were at didn't look like this when he was here.
Olivia solved the mystery, "Honey, I purchased this house for you for us. Huck helped me to track down the friend. I wanted to see if he remembered where you stayed. He did. He knew the previous owner of the house, and I was shocked to learn they were selling the house. By the way Jonathan would like to hear from you. It is the same address that you guys were at, but the original house was lost in a fire. They rebuilt and sold it. The new owner put it back on the market six months ago. When we heard about Jake's plan for me I needed to do something for you. I prayed I got to bring you here myself, but in the event something happened to me our moms, Tom, and Lauren were going to make sure you got this on my behalf. I planned on giving it to you later, but after everything that you have done for our family I needed to make something about you. Thanks to our family and friends. They helped me get it set up for us."
Fitz picked her up, and swung her around. He was so happy. He had his wife, family, life, health, and tons of happiness.
Tom & Lauren smiled at the couple.
Olivia turned around, "Thank you again for helping me make this possible."
She pulled out an envelope and handed it to them.
Tom looked at her, and showed it to Lauren.
Olivia canceled their reservations at the resort they were staying in. She reserved a villa for them, and paid for them to eat at some of the finest restaurants on the property, spa sessions, and more.
Olivia said, "There are no words that express how much you both mean to me to us. Without you Fitz would have had a heart attack trying to hold the fork down. You have been there for us in ways we can never repay. You are more than friends to us. You are our extended family, and I want you relax and enjoy each other."
Tom hugged her, "We consider you guys family too. So we were taking care of family. We would do it again in a heartbeat. You guys enjoy yourselves. We will see you later."
They all hugged once more before they left.
Fitz absolutely loved the property. He actually loved the house there now more. It fit the property. The house had six bedrooms and baths.
They walked out back where there was a stunning cliff, and Olivia sighed and leaned back into her husband.
She understood why he loved it, and she was excited to make his dream come true. The property was oceanfront which she loved.
The couple headed down to their private pier where Fitz's next surprise was.
Fitz stopped when he saw the 100 foot boat with a red bow on it.
She walked up to him, and put her arms around him.
"Did you listen to the whole story Mrs. Grant?"
"Honestly, no but our adopted dads were all too willing to fill in the blanks for me? Also they selected the boat, and paid for most of it. They wanted to do something for their son. They are proud of the man you are, and despite not having a male figure in your life you are a wonderful man, husband, and father."
He turned around, "I love you so much."
"I love you too baby."
Fitz was excited to see the house since it wasn't the same house that he stayed in. He loved the original villa, but he had to admit this villa was much more modern which he loved.
The top floor was their master bedroom that included an adjacent studio that had a direct view of the water out towards the pier.
On the ground level there was a commercial kitchen, covered terrace, and living room that transitioned into a 30 meter infinity edge pool and Jacuzzi. They both loved the design.
For Olivia the pictures didn't do the villa justice.
On the lower level were three bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, maid's quarters, a sauna, and a gym.
They had a guest house that had its own full kitchen, three bedrooms and baths, and a caretaker's facility.
Olivia loved that they were just 100 meters from Playa Caracol beach. The water was crystal clear and it was very relaxing to see.
The couple were walking down the beach hand in hand. They stopped so Olivia could rest. She sat down between his legs, and they looked out at the crystal white water.
Fitz kissed her hair, "I want you know that I appreciate what you did for me. I don't do anything expecting anything in return, and I know you don't either. Of all the things you ever done for me. This one tops the cake. I think because it is something else I wanted for us, and it is happening. I'm not half the man I am without you Livvie."
"I feel the same way Fitz. You spoil me so much, and I love that we take care of each other. I made a promise to you, and I was going to keep it. To me when I made this purchase it gave me additional motivation to come back to you. I'm sorry for putting us through the hell and pain we did, because I didn't have the guts to accept I was in love with you. I promise to never make that mistake again, and every day I will wake up and show you how much I love you."
"We can finally close not just that chapter, but that book in our lives is ending. It is time for the sequel to begin."
She turned to face him and smiled, "Sounds like you have plans."
"I want us to retire in five years. Sell the business to our teams. We expand Livvie's house, and expand the services. I want to start some type of foundation to help boys with no fathers. We love the arts, and Kerry is always talking about the committee she is on to keep arts in the school. I want us to be able to enjoy the kids, raise them, never having to worry about our schedules. We have millions in trust fund money, and the millions we are making every year in the business. Let's come up with a plan, and move forward."
He expected her to either fight him, or give him a hard time. He was shocked at her answer.
"Let's do it. Can we cut it from five years to three? You are right I want to live life after everything that happened. My heart is not into fixing other people's problems. I want to raise our babies. Hopefully soon we will create another baby. In three years we can retire and work on another one."
Fitz smiled, "Let's do it. Every last thing you said."
They talked some more before heading back to the house.
Over the next couple of days they relaxed, had lots of make-up sex, and spent time making this house their home.
They also went out and enjoyed Panama. They went horseback riding in the mountains. The couple went to the Botanical Gardens in Bocas del Toro. The guided tour took them through the gardens in addition to enjoying the wildlife and plant life. After the tour they enjoyed the pool at the garden, the bar, and a tropical lunch.
One day they did a trip to Golfo de Chiriqui National Park where they went snorkeling, and enjoyed the private beach. They stayed in a hotel overnight, and after dinner they spent the rest of the evening making love throughout the night.
Their last day in Panama Olivia arranged for them to do all the things he wanted them to when he visited the first time.
They stated off at Mira Flores Locks. Next they were taken to the top of Ancon Hill which overlooked Panama City.
From there they went to a local artisan market where they purchased some items for their homes, and gifts for their family and friends. Afterwards they enjoyed lunch.
After lunch they took a stroll at the Punta Culebra Nature Center. They finished their tour by visiting Casco Viejo which is a neighborhood that dates back to the 1670s.
They made it back to the villa where they took a nap before getting ready for dinner. Fitz was wearing a Tom Ford Camel Jacket. He had a solid black shirt, and he paired it with a pair of Hounds tooth tailored sport trousers.
Olivia stepped out of the bathroom dressed in a green Cushnie et Ochs stretch V-neck jumpsuit. She had on her black Manolo Blahnik patent leather ankle-strap sandals.
They headed over to the restaurant. Olivia made reservations for them to eat at ZK. One of Fitz's favorite foods was Japanese which is why she chose this restaurant.
The couple was taken to a corner table that gave them so privacy. Olivia couldn't drink so both of them got tea.
They started out with a seaweed salad and a cup of miso soup. They ordered a vegetable tempura for their starter.
For their main dish Olivia decided on Salmon Teriyaki with sautéed vegetables and gohan rice. Fitz decided on Mongolian Beef with sautéed vegetables, Yakimeshi rice, and noodles.
For dessert they shared an Okashi which is a chocolate lava cake with sesame ice cream and strawberries in a black currant syrup.
Fitz was stuffed. He was smiling from ear to ear, and that made Olivia happy. He looked like her husband again. He had plenty of rest, and she took care of him this week.
He grabbed her hand, "Livvie again thank you for making this happen especially today. To visit the places, and do the things I imagined we would do here was everything. Taking me out to dinner and enjoying my favorite meal was the icing on the cake."
"You are welcome. I have something for you."
She slid the box over to him.
He opened it. It contained a Cartier Leve Ring. It was a 1970s New York romance design. It was 18K White Gold with a total of 66 brilliant-cut diamonds.
On the inside she had inscribed "Love You Forever and Always. Your Sweet Baby."
He leaned over and kissed her with so much passion she gasped for air.
She is not sure how they made it back to the villa, but once inside it was on. He took her against the door, in the pool, in the Jacuzzi, on the kitchen island, and on the steps before they finally made it to their bedroom.
Once inside the bedroom they made it to the shower where they made love again before getting out. They were both worn, but knew they wanted to make love in their bed.
Make love they did. By the time they both came they were crying, and they stared at each other for minutes wondering did they finally create a baby.
They hoped so. It would be something special.
A/N-Hope you enjoyed. Next chapter will pick up in Boston. Remember I said the next couple of chapters will focus on their summer trip around the world as a family.
