I think this chapter is really bad. But it's the last one so yay. Thanks to every single person who ever reviewed and especially to those who have stayed with this the entire time...I sure didn't update for a while!

Reyna fell hard onto the dirt beside the Door of Orpheus. She was completely soaked, rain was still falling as hard as ever. The last remains of Typhon's fury. Voices echoed in her head as she lay there, momentarily paralyzed.

"Oh, how fun it is to play around with young love."

"It's completely not okay to take Reyna away from me like that…"

"I can still leave you defeated though you defeated me. I can take away what made you succeed"

"Give me your hand."

"You may be taken to the one place of your greatest desire…"

"Get the hell away from my girlfriend!"

"Reyna. Reyna. Reyna!"

One voice echoed repeatedly, her name was being said over and over again.

"Reyna!"

Jason.

Reyna stumbled up, and her vision swayed. She fell over again, but then Jason's arm was there, catching her, holding her back up again. And before she even got to react as to what was going on, Jason's lips were pressing onto hers, his arms wrapped around her in a tight embrace. Reyna's mind was dizzy, but she was vaguely aware of the ferocity of which Jason was kissing her, the way he was holding her, and without realizing it, she was kissing him back with the same intensity. Reyna felt like she was electrocuted, unable to breathe, and yet still, still, she wanted more. The remains of the storm poured its last vent of anger onto the earth, soaking them both one final time. And when that was over, the sun kissed Reyna's skin, warming her, changing their kiss from fierce to sweet. And then Reyna was falling, falling into a deep black and starry pit…

Reyna opened her eyes. Sunlight filtered through windows all around. Blinking hard in the harsh illumination, she attempted to assess her surroundings. Someone was holding her hand. Without even having to think, Reyna knew it was Jason. Turning to her left, she looked into his electric blue eyes.

"What happened?" she asked, her voice raspy.

"You fainted after exiting the Underworld," he replied. "So I brought you here." There was a certain look in his eyes that told Reyna he wasn't saying everything.

"And?"

"You just woke up."

"Something else happened. I can tell it in your eyes." Jason shrugged.

"Do you remember anything else?" Reyna shook her head.

"No," she said slowly. "All I remember is being pushed out of the Door. And then I think I fainted. Except…no." Reyna shook her head. "That's just a dream," she murmured. "Just a dream."

"What was just a dream?" Reyna closed her eyes, remembering her dream as vividly as if it had actually happened.

"That after we escaped the Underworld…after we escaped, you–you kissed me." Jason looked deep into Reyna's eyes, and squeezed her hand.

"It wasn't a dream," he whispered. "It was real."

Reyna sat straight up.

"That's impossible."

"Why?"

"Because…" Reyna paused, calming herself down. "Because that's not something you would do-with me."

Jason took a deep breath.

"Reyna, I–"

The door suddenly banged open. Percy rushed in, carrying a fallen Annabeth.

"Someone, anyone, help!" he cried, his voice drowning in desperation. Annabeth was carried over to the only spare bed left. Camp Half-Blood had lost so many. Reyna could only wonder what was going on at Camp Jupiter. Percy walked over.

"I got this note," he panted. "I think it's from Hazel, but it says deliver to either you or Jason-if you're there." Reyna snatched it out of Percy's hand, and ripped it open.

Reyna, Jason, whoever's reading this.

It's over. So I know you two have succeeded. What I don't know is if you've succeeded and died, or where you are, so I'm sending this to Percy. We've lost so many. Frank's in critical condition and our healers aren't sure whether he'll live. Bobby and Dakota are both gone and New Rome is in complete ruins. Wherever you are, get back as soon as possible. We need you two.

Hazel.

The second Reyna read the letter, she leaped out of her bed and left.

"Reyna!" Jason called out. "You aren't healed, you can't go!" He followed her outside, catching up with her as she entered the woods. But Reyna ignored him, only walking deeper and deeper into the trees. "Reyna. I'm not going to let you go until you're healed." Reyna whirled around.

"They're dead. Bobby and Dakota and Frank's in critical condition. Hazel can hardly write a letter. Her handwriting is all shaky, and the paper is smeared in blood. We may have succeeded, but in actuality, we've failed." Jason was taken aback by Reyna's sudden outburst.

"We defeated Typhon, which is what we set out to–"

"Camp Jupiter is in complete ruins!" Reyna cried, her voice full of anguish. "It will take years to rebuild everything that has been shattered." Reyna stared into the trees. Jason walked up to her. And when he looked into her face, he realized she was crying.

"All of this is my fault," he whispered aloud to himself.

Jason turned back to Reyna.

"I've ruined everything," he said quietly. "I break everything I touch." Jason gently lifted Reyna's chin, looking into her eyes. "And the more I hold on to them, the more shattered they end up to be."

"Jason–"

"We can rebuild Camp Jupiter. We can rebuild New Rome. It may take years, but it won't be the hardest thing I've ever done. Second, perhaps." Jason paused.

"Of course it's not the hardest thing you've ever done," Reyna said angrily. "You've gone on quests, survived such dangers, what do you even mean by 'not the hardest thing you've ever done'?"

"I don't mean hardest to do. I mean hardest to fully repair. We may never get New Rome like it was just a week ago. We may never get that back. But we can build upon it, make it better." Reyna sighed, nodding.

"So if that's your second hardest, what's your first?"

"You," Jason whispered. His hand still rested below her chin. Tilting Reyna's head upward, he leaned forward slightly, and his lips met hers. He kissed her sweetly and gently, without the hazy dream passion of their previous kiss. But this one was just as powerful, perhaps even more so, because it was real.

"You're impossible." Reyna punched him on the shoulder, but her smile gave it away.

"So are you."
