So... yeah, let's go!
Sinister red eyes pierced through a pitch black void behind a pane of glass. These scary looking optics belonged to multiple small creatures silhouetted in a dim underground lair, and their owners grew restless as the whirring sound of many beating wings filled the room.
"Patience, my children." A heavily distorted male voice calmed the creatures, "Soon you shall wreak the havoc you crave." The owner of this voice was a large humanoid with the head of a moth, covered with black and white fuzz that stopped short of his abdomen and legs, and had two pairs of striated insect wings sprouting from his back. Standing at a worktable with his back to the ranks of glass holding pens, the mysterious human/insect hybrid was piecing together a small device with a button on the top. "Soon I shall have the power I deserve. Soon the entire city will bow before its new master, Killer Moth!" He shouted as he stepped away from the worktable.
Laughing madly, the insect-themed villain stalked away from the tables as he passed the rows of cells. Before he could fully relish in his excitement, however, a second, very petulant, young, and high pitched female voice cut him off.
"DADDY!"
0-0
"DAAAADDDDDYYYYY!" A teenage blonde, blue-eyed girl screamed from the top of her lungs. Inside a pink colored room, and wearing the same colored pajamas, the girl sat on a bed as she called for her father.
An instant later, the door to the room smashed open. "Daddy's working, Kitten." Killer Moth growled angrily as he stepped inside. "Can't this wait until-"
"No! He broke up with me." The girl, referred to as Kitten, interrupted as she began storming back and forth in front of the villain. "My stupid ex-boyfriend Fang broke up with me! And now I don't have a date for the prom!" She explained in an annoyed tone as she tossed a telephone and a pillow across the room.
During the whole event, Killer Moth was breathing heavily, trying to hold back his rage that was most likely at its' boiling point.
With a pull of her hair, Kitten threw herself facedown on the bed with a groan before sobbing uncontrollably.
Her father sat down next to her and held his hand uncertainly out toward her back, not having much of an idea what to do in this crisis. He finally settled on stroking her hair, giving her whatever comfort he could. "Uh... there, there." He said hesitantly. "I'm sure you'll find another date."
With a disgusted groan, the spoiled brat... er... young blonde picked herself off the bed and faced her father, "Prom is tomorrow, Daddy. I don't have time to find another date. So you're gonna find one for me!" She shouted, a sight gag inflating her head to jumbo size while the villain shrank ten or twelve notches under her.
"Now, Kitten, be reasonable!" Father-dearest yelled as he stood up from the bed, "You don't seriously expect me to-"
"And I don't want just anyone." Kitten cut her father off again, standing up on her bed to loom over him, "I want someone handsome, and popular, and totally cool." She counted off with her fingers. "Someone no other girl could get. Someone who'll drive Fang wild with jealousy! I want-"

Robin was bent over the handlebars of his R-Cycle, traveling through the streets of Jump City at an incredible speed. So fast, in fact, that his cape blew nearly straight out behind him due to the high velocity. The sun was setting, darkening the sky into the purple of early evening.
"Range to target!" The masked cyclist said through his helmet microphone.
In another street, the T-Car sped through the city at probably the same pace as the R-Cycle. Inside the vehicle, Cyborg was at the wheel while Raven sat in the front passenger seat.
"Five hundred and closing." The bionic driver replied, "Should have a visual any-"
"There he is!" Starfire exclaimed through her own speaker. She, Kylar, and Beast Boy, in the form of a green vulture, had taken to the skies in the hopes of finding whoever was causing the disturbance in the city.
"Correction. There it is." The gray mage said, completely awestruck by the sight in front of her.
Just outside of a smashed jewelry store window, the silhouette of a teenage male reached inside and picked up the several pieces of precious stones. As Cyborg's tires were heard screeching in the distance, Robin's R-Cycle headlights flashed on the culprit, revealing his entire form; a teen male's body, wearing a hoodless black jacket, white t-shirt, jeans and black shoes, but instead of a human head, it was replaced with a spiders'. A complete carapace, with four legs long enough to reach the ground were attached to the head as well. The spiky-haired Titan stared at the culprit while the T-Car pulled up in front of him.
The thief raised a gun-shaped weapon and lifted his entire human body off the ground with his arachnid legs. A moment later, the delinquent pulled the trigger and released a powerful pink blast at the two vehicles. Robin gasped in surprise before he and Cyborg peeled out in opposite directions to avoid getting hit, just in time, as the blast ripped through the pavement they were parked on. Both drivers skidded to a stop; the cross-breed howled in anger and leaped straight toward the sky, landing on the roof of the jewelry store.
As soon as he touched down, his spider legs scurried from rooftop to rooftop, away from the super teens. The masked leader of the team could only watch as the thief jumped across the street with ease. The long legs of the store breaker were carrying him on the sides of the buildings while the Titans set off after him on wheels and in the air.
Starfire sent a few starbolts toward him, but he easily dodged by leaping to another building across the street and continuing his sideways run. It was now Robin's turn to try and stop their target. Gunning his engine and extending a blaster from each handlebar, he popped off a string of shots that barely missed the semi-arachnid, who crossed the street again without breaking stride.
Next, the T-Car pulled ahead of the R-Cycle and opened its sunroof. Instead of the proton cannon, Cyborg and Kylar installed some modifications to the weapons system of their baby, and what better weapon to show off than a missile? Primed and ready for launch, the cybernetic bruiser fired the projectile at the speeding arachnid. It streaked through the evening sky and zeroed in on the thief, but at the last second, he jumped clear to avoid the impact and explosion.
In the air, the cross-breed performed a 180-degree turn and spat a large wad of gray slime at the three fliers. As the wad came closer, Starfire and Kylar weaved out of the way, leaving the green vulture to take the brunt of the massive webbing. The ball engulfed Beast Boy and dragged him out of the sky where it splattered all over a wall at ground level.
Back in human form, he was able to poke his head, one arm, and both legs out of the viscous material. "Super-loogie?!" The green teen groaned disgustedly as he struggled to free himself, effectively taking him out of the chase.
The shooter spewed out another mouthful, forcing the remaining fliers to take evasive maneuvers. Dodging one gobbet after another, they both were able to keep their pursuit. The hybrid then spat a stream of adhesive back and forth, layering it to create a thick sheet that stretched across the entire street. With their path block, Raven emitted her powers and placed the entire block under her influence. The pavement cracked while a fire hydrant gushed water along the sidewalk, creating a makeshift ramp that both vehicles used to sail neatly over the barrier.
The smash-and-grab artist continued his scuttle along the buildings, his human body waving in the wind, and turned to spit more silk. The red-colored Titan swerved expertly to avoid the goo, but the T-Car's windshield wasn't so lucky and was blanketed entirely by the viscous material.
"I can't see!" Cyborg shouted as he cut his steering wheel hard to one side and skidded to a stop. More sludge came down on the car as Robin passed by on his motorbike.
In the air, Starfire and Kylar started catching up again. The auburn-haired beauty began pulling ahead and was just about to reach the thief, but a well-placed burst knocked her put of the sky and pinned her to the sidewalk.
"Star!" The aura manipulator stopped his pursuit and turned around to see if his friend was okay. The spiky-haired teen zoomed underneath the floating brunette so as to not lose the criminal.
"I am without harm!" The covered Titan reassured as she tried vainly to free herself. With a nod, Kylar continued the chase, following closely behind his leader.
The thief raced down the street and around a corner; the last two Titans followed him and found themselves heading to the end of a street that faced an elevated highway. The creature made straight for a parked car that faced the highway and jumped onto its rear end. Inside the car, a young man and his girlfriend were about to enjoy each others company, but they gasped when the slender legs of the arachnid pushed off the bodywork, sending the felon over the highway. Relieved that they were unharmed, boyfriend and girlfriend were about to get back to the business at hand, but were quickly interrupted again by the sound of an approaching engine.
A shocked stare and second gasp were all they could manage before Robin sped in and onto the car's rear end, launching himself over the highway. As he sailed through the air, he removed his helmet and fired off a grappling hook that pulled him toward a building, letting his bike drop. The swinging trajectory carried him toward a wall, while the large R's on both sides of the plummeting R-Cycle extended outward from the body to fire a beam from underneath, allowing the vehicle to descend smoothly to the curb and touch down without a scratch.
On the rooftops, the man-spider charged down the side of a building, followed closely by Robin, whose line trailed out ahead of him, and proceeded to climb the architecture on the other side. Once he reached the rooftops, Kylar flew in close and began throwing spheres of his signature power in the hopes of hitting the crook. But the cross-breed easily maneuvered between each blast effortlessly before leaping to another taller building.
The masked Titan wasn't out of the chase either, as he shot his grapple after their target and followed close behind. With one final pull, Robin lunged for the culprit. But before he could seize the villain, the runner spun around and spat a pair of short beams down at him, knocking the Boy Wonder off the building and down toward the street.
As he fell, Robin's skin turned gray as his limbs froze in place. "Can't... move!" He strained to say as he continued his paralyzed free fall.
"Sparrow!" The black-jacketed Titan called out before diving after his comrade, letting the thief escape. He quickly increased his flight speed and wrapped his right hand around Robin's ankle and pulled him up perhaps five feet short of getting very acquainted with the pavement.
Once he knew his friend was out of danger, Kylar slowly floated to the ground where he carefully balanced Robin upright. As he did so, the other four Titans had freed themselves of the adhesive and ran up to regroup.
"He is okay?" Starfire asked worriedly as the cybernetic Titan stepped up and ran a scanner over the paralyzed teen.
"He will be." Cyborg reassured after his inspection. "The venom's effect is only temporary."
"Getting away... we have to... go after him!" Robin groaned before he started toppling over. "Whoa!"
Kylar placed his right palm on the Boy Wonder's forehead, stopping his fall. "You're not going anywhere like this." The brunette stated as he rectified his friend.
"We'll be going after him." The Gothic mage corrected.
"You need to chill 'til that stuff wears off." The bionic added.
"But-"
"Dude, we can handle it. The guy's got a spider for a head." Beast Boy chimed in, cutting the Boy Wonder's protest off, "Not like he's gonna be hard to find."

With no immediate answer for the changelings' reasoning, Robin was quickly escorted back to the Tower with the help of Starfire in the hopes of working the paralysis out of his system. With that settled, Cyborg, Raven, Kylar, and Beast Boy continued scouring the city for the freaky spider-guy.
Inside the Ops Center, the Tamaranean held the spiky-haired teen upside-down by his ankles. She stretched his legs and worked them back and forth, eliciting several yelps of discomfort and causing his arms to flail around.
"Better?" The alien chiropractor asked once she stopped working the poor boys' legs at odd angles.
"Ah, much. Thanks." Robin said gratefully as the gray coloring bled out of his skin, though the movements did cause a little tear of pain to hang down like a pendulum from his right eye.
"I welcome you." Starfire smiled as she hefted him up and down, "There are few problems that Tamaranean acupressure will not solve."
"Now we can focus on solving our other problem." The upside-down Titan said as he pulled out his communicator and opened it. "Titans! Any luck finding out jewel thief?"
"We found something worse." Raven replied through the small screen.

On the Jump City bridge, Beast Boy, Raven, Kylar, and Cyborg all stared up at the sky incredulously while the beating of millions of wings filled the air. The source of their astonishment was a horde of large hovering moths, each one fighting mad, moving lazily above the bridge. Several clustered up and munched at the bridge's cables. When one cluster dispersed, it revealed the gnawed remains of the straps, where the final strand snapped; the lower end lashed toward the roadway, and people scattered as a car was crushed under the wire rope. The entire bridge began swaying back and forth, creating oscillations that sent the abandoned vehicles sliding around the four Titans.
As more groups of moths chomped on cable after cable, Beast Boy and Cyborg were having a very tough time keeping their balance on the bucking pavement, while Raven and Kylar floated a few feet above it, unaffected by the shaking.
In the air, a cable broke and whistled downward, forcing the teens to dodge in four different directions. After skidding backward to a stop, the metallic teen charged forward towards the bridge cables. "Teen Titans! GO!" He shouted.
Hearing their teammate, the other three Titans sprung into action; Kylar immediately flew into the air, Beast Boy transformed into a pterodactyl and took off after him, and Raven summoned her powers as she chanted her signature spell.
"Azarath Metrion Zinthos!" She intoned as she created an energy disc for the non-flying teen to jump on.
"Thanks for the lift, Raven!" Cyborg called out as the platform carried him higher and higher toward the cables, Raven following close behind. Once he reached the moths' level, the sorceress peeled off to handle her own group of insects, leaving the titanium Titan to jump onto the cable. He cried out a bit as he nearly lost his balance, but once he gained his footing, he broke out his sonic cannon and went to work blasting away groups of moths from the cables.
After blasting the horde nearest to him, he noticed that the cables' outer covering had been breached, and the two ends started pulling apart. Reaching the spot on the cable, Cyborg pulled the cable together with his left hand while he popped out his fingertip acetylene torch from his right for some emergency repair work.
Beast Boy flew for a head-on collision course with an oncoming insect, but transformed into a monkey at the last second to hitch a ride. The gibbering green primate was swept to and fro as the bug approached the cables, and weaved through them to try and buck its unwanted rider off. After finally getting some control of the runaway bug by using its antennae as a makeshift steering wheel, the green scamp crashed through another flock monstrous moths.
Next, Raven darted through the cables and slammed another disc into the face of a moth, but several others quickly gained on her. She flew straight up toward the top of a support column, then put on a burst of speed to giver herself a little breathing room. As soon as she was clear, small orbs of purplish-black aura collided with the pursuers and disintegrated them into ash.
Kylar flew behind the blue-cloaked beauty before veering off into another group of bugs. Gaining their attention, the brunette flew high into the sky before slowing down to let the moths catch up. The insects enveloped the young Titan like... moths to a flame, but to their surprise, the purplish-black flame-like energy began seeping through the gaps before completely engulfing the moths, reducing them to ash. Once the aura dissipated, Kylar began his descent to regroup with the others.
Back on the bridge, Cyborg had pulled the edges of the cable back together and finished running his torch flame around the hem, joining them once more. With the cable fixed, he jumped to a different cord, avoiding several of the mini monstrosities, and slid down the cable with his cannon blazing. A mighty leap carried him to another one, where he had to duck a stream of oncoming six-legged bandits before jumping again where he landed safely on the bridge in a backward skid.
"Boo-yah!... Huh?" The bionic Africans' expression quickly changed from victorious to utter confusion as he looked toward the Jump City skyline. Above the buildings, a dense black cloud rose slowly into view, accompanied by the beating of countless wings. Cyborg watched, dumbstruck, as Beast Boy steered his moth down to street level before turning into an elephant to crush it. Raven and Kylar floated down next to their friends a moment later to watch as the second wave of minions came.
As the four stared with wide-eyed disbelief, the big man lifted his forearm and activated his communicator. "Uh... we're gonna need backup."

Back in the Tower's Ops Center, Robin and Starfire watched the window screen, which was filled with their cybernetic friends' portrait.
"We're on our way." The Boy Wonder replied as he and the auburn-haired Titan headed for the door.
But before they could make it out of the room, the screen filled with static and changed to show the portrait of the commander of the insect army. "Don't bother." Killer Moth spoke through the video feed, stopping the two Titans in their tracks. "Even if you defeat a few of my children, you won't be able to stop me from releasing the entire swarm."
When Robin and Starfire returned to the window screen, the image pulled back a bit and showed masses of black, buzzing silhouettes behind the villain, prompting gasps from both of them.
"Unless you want your city reduced to a moth-eaten wasteland, you'll do exactly as I say." The menacing hybrid threatened.
"What do you want?" The Boy Wonder sneered as he narrowed his eyes at the villain.
"My demands are simple. The city will declare me ruler, the Teen Titans will surrender, and Robin..." Killer Moth spoke before backing up slightly to one side of the screen, "...will... take this lovely young lady to her junior prom." He finished hesitantly before a window with the young blonde in it appeared in the space he vacated, causing the moth-man to flinch at the suddenness of its' arrival.
"Hi, Robbie-poo!" The girl greeted with a wave and large smile plastered across her face.
The last demand hit Robin like a two-by-four upside the head, leaving him with a bewildered look on his face. "Um... what was that last part again?" He asked after collecting himself, hoping against hope that he misheard the demand.
"Robin, who is this girl? And why does she call you 'poo'?" Starfire asked, an irked tone prevalent in her voice. As she spoke, the masked leader hunched over, hands twitching, and his face became covered with a fierce grimace, as a big drop of sweat trickled down from his forehead. However, when the clueless Tamaranean said 'poo,' his entire body melted, leaving only his masked eyes floating in midair with one eye twitching.
"Her name is Kitten," Killer Moth introduced as the girl on screen puckered up, the embarrassed spiky-haired teen reconstituting himself a moment later, "and you will take her to prom!" The villain growled as he shook his fist at the two Titans.
The auburn-haired Titan floated up to the screen and came face to face with the image of Kitten, "This prom is some manner of duel, yes?" Starfire asked as she pulled off her wrist guard and slapped the young blonde's image across the face, leaving a bright red hand imprint on her cheek. "Robin eagerly accepts!" The angered alien girl stated confidently as she threw her gauntlet down, letting it land across her friends' eyes.
"It's not a duel, Star." Robin sighed sadly, peeling the guard off his face. "It's a date." He clarified as he scratched the back of his head nervously.
Her long, hysterical gasp gave away just how unprepared she was to hear that face. "He does not accept!" Starfire quickly shot back at the screen, trying to take back her words she said only a few moments ago. "Do you hear? Robin does not accept!"
Before she could continue her protests, the hysterical girl was yanked unceremoniously through the air as Robin led her away by the foot.
"We're going to need a minute." The masked teen said as he walked towards the side door of the Ops Center. Once they were inside the hallway, Starfire quickly landed on the ground and made her thoughts apparent on the matter.
"Odium! Scandal! Atrocity!" She growled, literally fuming with rage as she paced back and forth. "These atrocities must not be met! Clearly this demented madman has no idea with whom he is dealing! And if he believes-"
Robin, however, tuned her out as he pulled out his communicator to get in contact with the rest of the team. "Cyborg, report. How bad is it?"
0-0
"Bad! Can't hold 'em off much longer!" Cyborg replied through the scanner on his arm as he tried keeping one vicious moth at bay with his other.
Back on the bridge, the other Titans were starting to get overwhelmed by the sheer numbers of the furious insects. Utter chaos reigned as they tried everything in their power to keep the bridge from getting consumed by the mutated moths.
Raven was using her powers to levitate pieces of debris to toss at the moths, Kylar was attracting the insects with his flame-like aura to keep them from chomping on the cables of the bridge, and Beast Boy was in the middle of a swarm as a green tiger, swiping and biting on the creatures. But even this was too much for them to handle.
"If you're gonna do something, do it quick!" The bionic Titan shouted through the feed.

Back in the Tower, Starfire was spewing fire from her mouth as green smoke rose from her now glowing eyes as she continued ranting, "-out of his mind if he believes you would even consider such a distasteful-"
"I have to do it." Robin stated flatly as he closed his communicator and clipped it back on his belt.
"WHAT?!" The Tamaranean shouted in complete shock, her reaction causing her head to grow about three sizes as her outburst was strong enough to blow his hair flat.
"It's the only way to save the bridge." The masked teen replied as he tussled his hair, "The only way to give us enough time to stop Killer Moth."
This left the girl hanging slack as her eyes were as wide as dinner plate from the shock of hearing the decision. "But... but... but..." She was finally able to mutter as she floated behind her friend back to the Ops Center.
"I have to, Starfire, no matter how much I don't want to." Robin stated as the door opened to admit them back into the room. "And I really don't want to."
Back inside the room, the reluctant Titan crossed the floor and stopped in front of the screen, where a smug looking Kitten and a displeased looking Killer Moth waited for his answer.
"Do we have a deal?" The insect villain asked, though it ultimately came out as a demand.
"I'll take the girl to prom." Robin stated evenly, not an ounce of enthusiasm behind his tone.
"Don't tell me. Ask her." Killer Moth motioned to the small box in the corner of the screen.
The spiky-haired teen looked up incredulously, "You've gotta be-"
"Do it!"
Robin steeled himself before turning toward the blonde girl, "Kitten, was it?" He asked.
On screen, a brief burst of static changed the girls' visage to show she grew a tail, claws, and cat ears, while her face took on a feline appearance. "Meow." She purred before her picture corrected itself.
"Right. Will you... go with me to the prom?" The disgruntled Boy Wonder growled as he struggled to say the words. Behind him, Starfire snarled through gritted teeth at the indignity of the date by extortion. Her eyes glowed more and more intensely before she spontaneously burst into flames, leaving a giant burned matchstick with two green-flaming eyes at the head.
"Oh, Robbie-poo!" Kitten gasped happily as she leaned out of the screen. "I thought you'd never ask!"
Robin could only stare in disgust at the girl and villain on the screen as he thought of thousands of other things he'd rather do than take the bratty blonde to her prom.

Back on the bridge, the endless swarm of mutated arthropods continued their assault on the Jump City bridge. In their attempts at damage control, each present Titan gathered the attention of a different group of moths and fought them separately.
Kylar was flying overhead with another swarm buzzing after him at an ever increasing speed. In an attempt to lose his pursuers, the brunette weaved between the steel cables before diving down below the bridge and towards the bay. Leveling himself so he was parallel with the surface, Kylar flipped over so he could face the swarm following him. Once he saw them get closer, the aura manipulator began hurling aura spheres at the surface, causing the orbs to explode on impact and creating geysers of water that shot up and rained on the moths. With the moths drenched, the weight of their wings couldn't keep them airborne and soon caused them to dive headlong into the bay. With his pursuers now incapacitated, they were easily picked off with blasts of energy from the black-jacketed Titan.
Top-side, Beast Boy made his way to the top of a bridge column with a horde of moths following close behind. Once there, he transformed into a green gorilla and swung his massive fists around, striking the crazed insects every which way. However, as he was preoccupied with the current group of bugs, another group chewed their way through a cable beneath him, breaking it with ease.
Elsewhere, Raven had her hands full with a few dozen others when the free end swung past her, causing the group of bugs to disperse in surprise. Once she was where the cable was going to land, her eyes grew to the size of saucers before she took action to prevent any more damage. "Azarath Metrion Zinthos!" The mage chanted, causing the mass of wires to come under her influence and stopping it just short of crushing Cyborg.
As the bridge cable was levitated away, putting the bionic Titan out of harms way, Cyborg broke out his sonic cannon and fired it through the air, blasting a few moths out of existence. However, he soon became overwhelmed by the sheer number of bugs as they began surrounding him. "There's too many!" The cybernetic teen shouted as he tried shaking the mutated minions off, "We're not gonna... make it?" As he finished speaking, the remaining moths drew back into one singular black cloud and made a very rapid exit.
As he stared off after the cloud, Raven and Kylar dropped to ground level next to him, while the green gorilla jumped onto a wrecked truck, then down to join them before returning to human form.
"Um... what just happened?" The shape-shifting teen asked. The brown-haired Titan merely shrugged, he was just as confused as his shorter friend.
Hoping to get an explanation to the situation, the blue-cloaked sorceress pulled out her communicator and activated it while the trio of boys gather behind her.
On the T-Comm, Robin appeared and spoke to the group, "I bought you some time." He began explaining, "Killer Moth. He's controlling the mutant insects." He stated as he showed a profile of the villain, "Find him and stop him." A picture of the bratty blonde then appeared on the small screen of the communicator, "Start your search with her."
"Who is she?" Raven asked as the boys each raised their eyebrows curiously.
"She is a manipulative gremplork not worthy of Robin's time!" They could hear Starfire shouting in the background, and judging from her tone, they knew she was incredibly irked.
Soon after, their masked leader appeared on the screen again. "Name's Kitten. She's got some kind of connection to Killer Moth." He informed, "Starfire will join you to help with the search, and Kylar..." He seemed a bit hesitant at this last order, "I need your help."
"Huh? Why?" The brunette asked.
On the small screen, Robins' visage visibly sank as he spoke again, "I have a date." He answered solemnly. This one response caused question marks to appear above all four very puzzled Titans as they tried to make sense of what they just heard.

As the day finally came to an end, with the moon shining brightly in the sky, the docks of Jump City were simply alive with eager teenagers. The reason being: A yacht was docked in the harbor for the junior prom of the local high school, already in full swing. The yacht itself was truly impressive; with many multicolored lights blazing from the rigging and cabin giving off a spectacular light show, a DJ booth for the music playing, and plenty of tables scattered across the deck for couples to sit and relax, there was a good chance that this night could be a night to remember. In fact, to top off the entire display, large banners with the words 'Your Date with Destiny' hung on the sides of the ship, probably the theme of the prom.
As some students lined up with their dates to board the ship, a familiar red-colored motorbike pulled up to the ship.
"Okay, I'm here." The rider said once he parked his bike.
"Good, now remember what I told you." Kylar's voice spoke through the mic inside the helmet, "Kitten will probably reveal something about Killer Moth if she has a good time. So make sure you dance with her, she'll probably want to."
"I'm not doing that." Robin scowled.
"Okay, fine, don't take the advice of the guy who you asked for help." The aura manipulator sarcastically stated. "Oh, also we sent you a surprise."
"What? What are you talking about?"
"Don't worry, you'll see." He wasn't sure, but Robin could've sworn he heard snickering on the other end, "Anyway, gotta go. Gotta find Killer Moth with the others. Good luck." With that, the brunette hung up.
"No, wait, Kylar! Kylar! Ugh!" The Boy Wonder groaned, knowing he wasn't going to get any more help from his friend. Without another word, he climbed off his ride and removed his helmet, revealing the world's most reluctant prom date now wearing a tuxedo instead of his brightly colored outfit, although his mask was still in place.
As Robin adjusted his lapels, he glanced around the area, "Really hoping she doesn't show." He sighed heavily as he tugged at his collar.
Just as he finished straightening his suit, a lavender-gloved hand reached over and tapped him on his shoulder, instantly putting him in the wrong mood. He slowly swiveled his head around to greet the one who gained his attention only to be completely floored at the sight presented to him. It wasn't his supposed "date" that was standing there, but Starfire, silhouetted against the full moon and looking absolutely stunning. Wearing a full-length gown and high heels that were a darker shade of lavender than the gloves, and holding a corsage, the Tamaranean beauty proved to be a quick study when it came to formal wear.
"Starfire?" The spiky-haired teen asked, completely floored at the sight before him.
"On such occasions, I believe it is customary to wear a dead plant." Starfire greeted as she pinned said plant on his lapel.
"Star... you're supposed to be helping the others track down Killer Moth." The awestruck Titan was able to mutter as his friend finished making him look nice.
"Your orders were to investigate the girl. I intend to investigate her thoroughly." The auburn-haired teen reasoned, "Besides, friend Kylar said you may require saving." Upon hearing that, Robin imagined the black-jacketed brunette snickering mischievously in a thought bubble above him, "This Kitten is perhaps some form of ooze monster in disguise." She transformed into a growling mass of slime as she spoke before transforming back to her normal self, "She certainly is ugly like a monster, yes?"
Once Starfire finished speaking, a car horn honked, gaining both of the Titans' attention. Once they stared in the direction of the noise, an exclamation point popped up over the Boy Wonder's head as near the gangplank, a pink limousine pulled up.
Once the brightly colored vehicle came to a stop, the driver of the limo stepped out and made his way to the rear passenger door. Opening it to let out the one in the back, Robin saw a pair of pink high heels step out from under the hem of a matching gown. As the owner of the high heels stood up, everyone knew that Kitten had finally arrived, having gone strapless with a corsage of her own.
Looking around a moment, she soon spotted her date and waved to him. "Yoo-hoo Robbie-poo! Your Kitten has arrived! Me-ow!" The blond teen proclaimed flirtatiously as she scratched the air... like a cat.
Starfire stared popeyed as the masked date cocked a very nervous eyebrow at the new arrival.
"Second thought, maybe I will need saving." He admitted as he began making his way to his 'date,' leaving a fuming Tamaranean behind.
As he trudged across the dock to reach the spoiled brat... er... blonde, he could feel the stares of every other couple in attendance. Once he reached her, Kitten immediately draped herself on him, as if wanting to make someone jealous.
"Oh, Robin! My date! Robin!" She exclaimed, louder than necessary, as she squeezed his face, "Don't you look handsome!" Letting go of his face, the aggressive girl leaned in close to his ear, "Compliment me on my dress." She whispered, harshly.
"No."
"Do it! Or else!"
With a massive scowl, Robin complied, "Nice dress." He stated, bitterly.
"Oh, Robin!" Kitten gasped loudly as she let go of the dejected Titan, "You're such a gentleman!" She shouted before pulling out a megaphone, where she got a megaphone was anyone's guess, "NOT AT ALL LIKE MY WORTHLESS EX-BOYFRIEND FANG!" She screamed, her words amplified threefold. Tossing the device away, the pink clad teenager slid closer to her date with her elbow crooked while Robin let off a visible sigh of relief. "Now take my arm, lead me in, and would it kill you to smile?"
After grabbing her elbow, the spiky-haired teen forced a savagely lopsided grin onto his face, cheeks creaking and popping with the effort as if his whole face was about to split apart. "Maybe." He replied through gritted teeth.
As Robin pulled his date toward the gangplank, an enraged auburn-haired alien teen floated closer to the limo, the toes of her shoes striking sparks against the concrete as she did so. More sparks flew from her grinding teeth as her eyes blazed and smoked with pure rage. Once she was next to the pink vehicle, Starfire brought her right fist up and slammed it onto the hood of the car. The force of the blow ruined the entire front end and caused the car to flip briefly up onto its' wheels before coming down, where the rest of the bodywork and windows crumpled.

Once everyone boarded the ship, the magnificent vessel set sail for the open... bay. The entire dance was in full swing with friends spending time together and loving couples embracing each other on the dance floor as a slow song filled the air. It seemed like everyone was having a marvelous time, well... everyone except for a certain masked teen.
Robin and Kitten were seated at a table near the rail of the deck. The expressions on their faces were polar opposites and showed just how much they wanted to be there; Robin was rocking back and forth in his chair irritably, while Kitten had a smile and a sultry look in her eye as she gazed at her date.
After a few moments, though, the smile disappeared from the lovely young lady's face into one of annoyance. "Ask me to dance." She demanded.
The leader of the Titans mentally face-palmed as he stopped rocking in his chair; seemed like Kylar was right about her wanting to dance. "I'm not dancing."
"Come on, Robbie-poo." The bratty blonde cheered loudly as she walked around the table to reach him, "Don't tell me you've never dance before." She said as she tried pulling him up off the chair.
"Tried it once." Robin answered curtly, "Didn't like it." To be fair, the last time he went to a place with dancing, it did turn into a drag-out brawl to save his friend. But that's neither here nor there.
"Fine!" Kitten shot back as she let her date go and pulled out a cell phone, "Then I can have the whole city destroyed... or... we can just skip straight to the kissing." She suggested as a wicked grin spread across her face.
It seemed like the young man was faced with an ultimatum; either dance with an annoying girl he had absolutely no interest in on a date he was forced to go on at a prom he really didn't want to be at, or let the entire city be destroyed by mutated arthropods by a crazy villain who thought he was a moth. Well the answer was clear!
"Wanna dance?" He asked with absolutely no enthusiasm.
Kitten nodded and quickly hauled the spiky-haired Titan onto the dance floor. "Oh, Robin, of course! I'd love to dance with you!" She yelled with increasing volume as her head grew three sized too big. Other couples quickly moved out of the way as she swept her date into a boisterous turn, giggling wildly as she did so.
On the other end of the deck, Starfire, about to pour herself a cup of punch from a bowl, literally could not see straight as her irises and pupils disappeared completely. Her jaw hung slack and her mouth slowly slid down to hang by one corner from her chin before dropping loose and splashing into the bowl.
In her stupor, another couple walked up to her. "Um... could we have some punch?" The male asked, not noticing the Tamaraneans' eyes and hand glowing with rage.
The bowl steamed and boiled from the energy flowing through her hand to the ladle. Once she finally couldn't control her anger, Starfire turned to face them and let off a bellowing animalistic roar, her head growing and her mouth ripping apart to expose several rows of deadly sharp teeth. The young woman on the receiving end gasped in fright as she and her date held each other for safety.
Back on the dance floor, things began looking up as the music ended.
"Okay. That's over." Robin said as he extricated himself from Kitten's hold.
Unfortunately, things began looking grim again as a new song started.
"Ooh, goody!" The eager brat gasped as she yanked her date back into her grasp, "Another slow dance!"
"Yeah!" The Boy Wonder feigned excitement.
As they started going around again, her face showed subdued delight while his displayed no emotion whatsoever. It was actually quite funny how much their expressions contrasted.
"From now on, Robbie-poo, this'll always be our song." Kitten stated dreamily as she rested her head on his shoulder.
Without missing a beat, Robin pulled out his communicator and held it at arm's length behind her back. "Please tell me you guys have found Killer Moth." He begged, desperately hoping that he could cut the date short.
"What's wrong, Sparrow? Not having fun on your date?"

On the other end of the call, Kylar was holding his communicator and looking at the static image of his friend. He and the other four remaining Titans were currently in a darkened living room of a quaint residential house. Cyborg, Raven, and Beast Boy were inspecting different parts of the décor as he spoke.
"Though to answer your question, we haven't found him yet." The brunette answered softly. Technically, they were trespassing on private property and didn't want to be found. "But we did find your girlfriend's home address."
Once he said those words, his masked friends' image leaned out of the small screen, "She's not my-"
A cry from the shape-shifting Titan cut his counter off; the reason for the shout was due to a section of the floor sinking out of sight as Beast Boy poked a small statue of a horse. A piece of wall behind it flipped down to cover the new hole, revealing a staircase that led down into what could only be the basement.
Once the new pathway had be revealed, the other three Titans gathered behind their shorter friend to gaze into the abyss.
"Whoa..."
"Well, that's not suspicious." The Gothic mage quipped as the green klutz descended the staircase.
As they made their way down, Beast Boy was the first to descend, his shadow stretching yards ahead of him on the bare floor as the others came down at a distance behind. One by one, the four moved deeper into the new area for as good a look as they could, hoping their eyes could adjust to the darkness.
As they walked, the green teen blundered up against a cord and released a panicked scream, but soon realized that he was in no danger. Reaching up, Beast boy grabbed the end of the cord and gave it a tug, bringing up the lights. With the lights on, and the basement now fully lit, the four Titans found themselves among a multitude of holding pens, each filled with Killer Moth's mutated insects.
After processing the sight before them, Beast Boy, Raven, and Kylar flipped open their communicators, while Cyborg fired up the one in his forearm.
"Found him." They all called in unison.
"Yes, you've found me," The voice of the villain resonated throughout the basement as the lights began to flicker, "but you'll soon be wishing you hadn't."
The four super-powered teens looked around the basement, trying to find the source of the voice. Their answer soon came to them as a huge insect/humanoid shadow threw itself over the bionic Titan, whose jaw fell open as he looked toward the ceiling. Clinging to an overhead light, Killer Moth glared down at the four intruders with unbridled fury dropping down with a loud growl, ready to show them just how dangerous a moth can really be.

Back on the yacht of love, Robin just received the news from his four teammates and quickly tucked the device away as Kitten lifted her head from his shoulder. Staring dreamily into his masked eyes with her own, the prom princess began leaning closer to the taller teen.
"Kiss me." She said before puckering up. However, her advances were cut short as the recipient shot her down.
"Sorry. I don't like you that way." He said before smirking, "Matter of fact, I just don't like you."
From across the deck, Starfire pumped her fist victoriously as she watched the events unfold. "Yes!"
"WHAT?!" The bratty blonde shouted angrily as her head inflated like a parade balloon, the force of her yell blowing Robin's hair back for a moment.
"Killer Moth's being taken down as we speak." He explained as he calmly flipped open his communicator. "We're done here." He stated proudly as he tucked the device back into his pocket and turned away.
"No we are not!" Kitten shouted as she tore off her corsage, revealing a push-button controller within the blossoms. "Daddy's not calling the shots tonight, Robbie-poo. I am!"
The masked prom date was completely taken off guard by the revelation, "Daddy?" He asked as he stared incredulously at the psychotic girl.
"And unless you want me to let those nasty bugs out for a late-night snack..." She threatened before hooking her free hand into Robin's shirt front and yanking him so they were face-to-face, "...you better pucker up!"
The purple-clad Tamaranean could only stare in complete shock as a small gasp escaped her lips.
From Robin's point of view, he watched as his insane prom date leaned closer to him, pursing her lips eagerly for a kiss. He did his best to keep any and every part of his face out of reach and shut his eyes as tightly as he could. Opening one of them fully, then the other, he recoiled even father in horror as he gazed at the blonde again: her face looked like that of a fish gasping for air after being reeled out of the water.
Thankfully, the attempted smooch was brought up short by his finger on her lips as he pushed her away. "Not even if you paid me." The Boy Wonder defiantly stated before swiftly grabbing the controller from her hand.
Kitten gasped and tried to seize the device back, but he held it out of reach. In the twinkling, the two began a back-and-forth struggle, with the villains' daughter concentrating on his his hand and how to retrieve her ace in the hole. With an agile swing, the masked Titan twirled his ex-date around him and caught her on his other arm, leaving her hanging backwards to look upside-down at everything
"Fang?" The blonde's eyes popped from her head excitedly for a moment as she saw a familiar presence on the boat.
Looking in the direction Kitten was, Robin's eyes popped from his head also as he couldn't believe who was there. "That's your boyfriend?" As he was stunned, the bratty prom girl seized the moment and grabbed the button from his hand.
Across the deck, prom guests began panicking and fleeing the scene as the young villainess' ex-boyfriend approached-being none other than the thief who pulled off the jewelry store robbery earlier that night.
"Get your hands off my girl!" The half-human, half-spider hybrid growled as his arachnid limbs knocked tables and chairs out of the way. Despite his grotesque appearance, his voice was perfectly normal for a teenage boy.
Quickly getting his guard up, Robin dropped his ex-prom date like a ton of bricks and blocked a few swings of Fangs' huge legs. However, one lucky limb managed to pierce his defense and knocked him aside.
The spider teen stepped over his fallen love and was about to help her up, but a starbolt flashed across the yacht and plowed him away before he could do so.
Next to the table with the punch bowl, Starfire was holding out her glowing neon green hands as she readied herself for a fight. "Keep your legs off my boy!" She announced as her friend stood up. "Robin, are you injured?" The alien beauty asked as she dispelled her powers.
"Best I've felt all day." The spiky-haired Titan smiled as he tore off the money suit with one easy motion, revealing his normal outfit underneath, gloves and all.
Kitten quickly ran over to her fallen prince, who was fetched up against a table. "Fangie-poo!" She called out adoringly as he stood up to be level with her, "You really do care!"
"Let's never fight again, baby." 'Fangie' said apologetically as his spider legs held out several stolen bracelets that made her gasp in delight.
"Oh, Fang!" The crazy blonde awed as she threw her arms around her boyfriends' neck. The two lovebirds stared at each other for a brief moment before finally bringing themselves closer and closer until their lips met. It was truly a sickening sight.
However, their loving moment was interrupted by a familiar voice. "You know..." The couple broke their kiss and looked over in the direction of the noise, gazing upon Robin and Starfire, who had changed back into her usual purple outfit. "You two make a really bad couple." The masked leader quipped.
The two evil teens glared at him for a moment, after which Fang let go of his girlfriend and threw himself at the young hero.

Back at Killer Moth's residence, Cyborg was currently engaging the villain in hand-to-hand combat, currently dodging his opponents' swinging claws. However, he was taken by surprise when the winged evildoer climbed up his chest and vaulted into the shadows, driving the cybernetic Titan to the floor. Quickly standing back up, he canvassed the vicinity, but found nothing except for Beast Boy searching in another isle of pens.
Kylar and Raven were in a different part of the basement and actually had better luck finding the villain, or rather he found them. In a flash, the villainous hybrid leaped towards the couple, causing them to dart in opposite directions to avoid his swipe. Sliding to a stop, the brunette engulfed his arms in aura and proceeded to throw punches at the man-sized arthropod, but had no luck landing any punches as he proved to be quite agile. The black-jacketed teen then tried a spin kick to strike his foe, but was surprised when Killer Moth caught his attack with both hands, and quickly threw him across the ground.
Looking to the ceiling, the half-human half-moth criminal spotted the blue-cloaked mage floating above him. With a swing of her arms, she levitated several bags of feed and sent them down at him; he knocked them away easily and jumped up to grab her shoulders. Planting his feet on the ceiling to brace himself, he slung her across the basement where her fall was broken by her brown-haired teammate.
The villain was in the clear for but a moment before he had to jump away from a blast from Cyborg's cannon. As soon as he touched the floor, a green wolf lunged at him for an attack. The insect who would be king seized both forelegs of his canine attacker and released a scream that put a surprised stare in their owner's eyes before hurling the lupine Titan down another isle where he collided with a charging bionic, leaving them in a pile on the floor, next to a downed Kylar and Raven.
After collecting themselves, Beast Boy morphed back into his human form. "For a weirdo who lives in his basement, this guy's pretty tough." He spoke up. His comment earned him a dirty look from each of his comrades before they stood up and charged the villain again.

On the cruise ship deck, Fang spewed a torrent of spider silk across the dance floor. Robin was able to nimbly dodge the glop, but Starfire was hit dead on and pinned to the floor. The spiky-haired Titan then stopped near the rail, where the couple who approached the Tamaranean teen at the punch bowl cut in front of him, completely unaware of the fight that broke out.
"Let's hit the dance flo-" Unfortunately for the unlucky couple, they were struck by the spider-guy's venom, leaving them as living, gray-tinged statues. A second blast just missed Robin, causing him to jump away, and Fang gave chase again. Stopping at another end of the railing, the Boy Wonder stopped to face his pursuer and expertly blocked a flurry of spider-leg strikes. He managed to grab all four limbs at once, setting off a tug-of-war between the two combatants. Gaining ground on the villain, Robin pulled the legs with all his strength and heaved the spider hybrid tumbling overboard.
Looking past the rail where he sent his opponent, Robin stared in surprise at the sight he was greeted with. "Huh?"
With all four spider legs climbing up the side of the ship, Fang spat more silk up at the Titan. After getting over the rail, the teenaged spider wrecked one of the tables and leaped high above the planks. On the way down, he whirled his legs like a high-speed and forced the brightly dressed teen to back up while blocking the hits. The human limbs were then brought into play instead; Fang and Robin began dodging each others blows, the former swinging his body high overhead to gain momentum. More furniture went flying all over the deck in the course of the punching match, and the delinquent teen finally connected with a spider kick that sent the young hero spinning through the air.
Catching a string of lights and hanging there for a moment, Robin braced himself for another assault as his opponent ran to the ship's cabin and scuttled straight up its wall. A leap carried him up to the cables, and the hero and villain were facing off once again with only four wires between them. Robin swung from one to the next, dodging gluey spurts along the way, and launched himself into an incredibly high leap that silhouetted him against the moon. With one leg extended for a kick, he descended straight toward the half-spider villain. Once the attack connected, Fang dropped like a ton of bricks and crashed down on one of the surviving tables, letting the balloons attached to its centerpiece to float freely.
As they rose, Robin plunged through them and towards his fallen opponent. But before he could land on him, the delinquent held up his spider legs to catch the spiky-haired Titan. The two continued their grappling as Kitten watched a short distance away.
"Ooooh!" The blond terror cooed as her boyfriend threw her prom date across the deck. "Isn't it romantic? They're fighting over me!"
Behind the bratty princess, Starfire stood up and peeled the adhesive off her face and stared in disbelief at her. "They are not fighting over you!" The auburn-haired Titan growled as her head grew a few notches.
With a yell, Kitten turned around and jumped at her. The two landed on the refreshment table and began rolling across it before Starfire pinned her shoulders under her. She reached to snag the button, but the quick thinking cat-named girl got a handful of food and threw it in her face. In a blink, Kitten gained the upper hand and pinned the orange-skinned alien, who was unable to see through the mass of cream covering her head. It soon started to bubble, and the blonde backed of cautiously as energy beams from her opponents' eyes pierced through the mess. The out-of-towner sat up with a wildcat snarl, throwing a genuine scare into the young villainess, and clamped a hand onto her shoulder. With ease, the enraged Titan tossed the crazed blonde across the table.
Once she slid to a stop, Kitten found herself staring up at a leaping, roaring Tamaranean teen ready to claw her eyes out. She screamed and got her legs up at the last second, catching Starfire with them and flipping backwards to dump her head into the punch bowl. The bratty teen then put her weight into forcing her foe's face deeper, smiling savagely as she tried drowning the poor girl. Thinking quickly, Starfire wrapped her own legs around her opponent's waist and slung her over the bowl to crash into a large chocolate cake that was set on the end of the table.
The young redhead pulled her head out of the punch and flung her sodden hair back. On the deck before her, Kitten lied sprawled out with cake plastered all over her hair and body; the look on her face was one of complete and utter shock.
"You. Ruined. My. Dress!" The messy girl yelled as she raised the control button and pressed down on it with her thumb, causing a look of worry to spread across Starfire's face.

"Start talking!"
Back at Killer Moth's house, the remaining Titans were finally able to subdue the hybrid and began interrogating him. Cyborg was currently standing over the defeated villain and had him in a headlock while the other three surrounded him.
"How do you control the..." Alarms began blaring while red strobe light flashed, immediately causing panic for the team, "...MOTHS!"
Responding to Kitten's triggering command, the front panels on the pens began sliding open, releasing clouds of vapor and the entire horde of Killer Moth's city-destroyers.
"Run!" The green shape-shifting teen panicked as he beat feet up a flight of stairs that led to the street. Before he could leave, the hatch at the top slammed shut in his face.
"We can't let them escape!" Raven stated as her eyes blazed with her power; she was the one who closed the trapdoor. "Seal the exits!"
Moving quickly, the three boys broke in different directions, with the cybernetic interrogator dropping the unconscious villain to the ground. Beast Boy transformed into a jellyfish in mid-leap and positioned himself in front of an air vent, just in time to stop any moths from getting out. Elsewhere, thousands of tiny terrors flew past Cyborg as he picked up a desk and threw it towards the top of the stairs that led to the living room. The desk landed in front of the doorway and was quickly joined by another, effectively cutting off that route. Having the same idea as his robotic friend, Kylar quickly picked up a few filing cabinets and began smashing them against the overhead ductwork, crushing their forms and making them impassible for the moths. With all the exits sealed, the bionic, the mage, and the aura manipulator stood back to back and ready to fight as millions of deranged giant bugs swarmed around them.

Rising high into the sky, Robin aimed the sole of his right foot toward the face of his enemy. Caught flat-footed by the blow, Fang stumbled backwards and tried to refocus his eyes, but quickly lost that fight as he moaned wearily and lost his balance. His landing crushed one more table and knocked the balloons loose.
With that fight finished, one more needed to be wrapped up between the two female counterparts. Facing off from opposite ends of the refreshment table, the mad blonde screamed and charged straight down the table's length toward the redhead, but Starfire sidestepped and launched a starbolt. The projectile hit Kitten's hand, knocking the controller to the deck, and left the girl gasping as she watched the device skitter away.
Robin's boot dropped down on top of it, stopping its momentum, and he narrowed his eyes at his destructive ex-date. "Consider yourself dumped." He said as he applied his full weight to the device, destroying it easily.
Kitten's eyes went wide in horror as everything finally came to an end, "NOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Back in the basement, Cyborg, Raven, and Kylar all huddled against each other to protect themselves from the flying army. Suddenly, the insects transformed into large caterpillar/maggot-like larvae and dropped out of the air, leaving the three Titans at a momentary loss for words. Once all the moths fell and littered the ground, Beast Boy, back in human form, popped his head out of the brunettes' currently zipped up jacket.
"Okay...?" The changeling mused at he watched the larvae worm their way around them.

After an incredibly eventful prom dance, the cruise ship pulled back up to the docks where a couple of police cars and a transport van were waiting to apprehend the subdued criminals on board. With many guards on the ship now, the villains had no chance of getting away, though in all honesty, they probably didn't want to at this point. Fang was escorted down the gangplank, his hands cuffed and all four spider legs shackled together above his head, and led to the back of the van by an armed guard. Before he stepped inside, he gave the interior of the vehicle a very puzzled look; the reason being he saw his girlfriend's insect-themed father secured behind a perforated transparent shield. He wore a sort of muzzle around his mouth, and his arms and legs were clamped to the wall, sort of like how one would show off a butterfly collection.
Both villains groaned wearily, probably because of having had negative dealing in the past and now had to spend time together in the back of a police transport.
The next person to get escorted to the van put up a little more resistance than the other delinquent, though it didn't really help much in escaping.
"Nobody dumps Kitten! Nobody!" Said blonde shouted angrily as two guards effortlessly walked her to the back of the vehicle, her hands cuffed behind her back. "You're going to pay for this, Robbie-poo! YOU'RE GOING TO PAAAYYY!" The two guards put her in the back and closed the door, muffling her last word, and the van sped off with sirens blaring.
On the cruise ship, the team regrouped and was hanging out by the rail, watching the criminals get hauled off. Robin was leaning against the railing, while Beast Boy was sitting on the deck, cooing at one of the moth larvae he snatched from Killer Moth's house.
Once the transport van disappeared into the city, Kylar spoke up, "I take it the date went well." He joked.
"Was that the same girl you had a date with?" The taller African Titan asked the brunette. Unbeknownst to the boys, the question gained the attention of their magical female companion.
Before Kylar could answer, the shorter pet lover stood up, placing the larvae on his head, "Nah, dude. The girl had shorter hair, and was not nearly as annoying."
"Besides, her name was Daisy." The aura manipulator shrugged. For some odd reason, he felt an unsettling killing intent focused on him that sent a shiver of fear up his spine. He knew he had some explaining to do.
The Boy Wonder continued leaning over the rail, tuning out his friends conversation, while Starfire eyed his back. He then turned around when two guards slid the paralyzed couple across the deck.
Knowing he had to say something to the innocent couple, he quickly stepped over to them. "Okay well... sorry we pretty much ruined your prom." The masked leader apologized as he scratched the back of his head nervously. His Tamaranean teammate accompanied him, since she also had a hand in ruining this special night.
"Are you kidding?" The paralyzed boy asked gleefully, "This was the best prom ever!"
"Even if I still can't feel my legs!" The paralyzed girl added before the guards rolled them away.
"Yeah," Robin waved to the couple as they were taken away, "That'll wear off." Seemed like the night wasn't a total failure since some of the party guests had fun.
Once the spiky-haired boy and the auburn-haired girl were the only ones left on the dance floor, spotlights shined across the deck, causing both Titans to brace for action.
"And now, the moment you've all been waiting for-" An announcer cheered as his voice echoed through the air, "-the king and queen of this year's prom are..." The lights stopped on the couple, "...Robin and Starfire!" After the announcement, a slow song began playing for the winners to dance to.
The statement caught the couple by surprise, but a smile soon found its' way onto Robins' face as he turned to Starfire. "I guess one more dance wouldn't kill me." He said before taking before taking his beautiful teammates' hand and leading her toward the center of the floor. As the two began dancing, the remaining four members of the team, plus one larvae, watched with smiles on their faces at the sight.
If you asked any of them that morning if their city was going to be threatened by a horde of mutated insects and end with two of their friends dancing at a high school prom on a cruise ship, they probably would have laughed. But even though it happened, everything worked out in the end.

Author's Note:
Welp, that was fun, wasn't it? Another chapter finished, another chapter needing to be made.
I know I've said this many times before, but really I want you all to know how much I appreciate the support for the story. You all mean a lot and without you all, this story wouldn't be much, if anything at all. Coming into this, I was worried about what others would think, how the OC would be received, whether he would be likable or if people would hate him. But you all have shown so much love and support, that I just can't hold it in.
But that's enough wallowing right now. I always thought Killer Moth was a sympathetic sort of villain. I don't know much about him outside of Teen Titans, but he always just seemed like the kind of guy that people walked all over, so he just wanted to be respected, as well as try and be a good father to his daughter. I mean he did agree to get Kitten a date, he could have just straight up told her no. And Kitten reminded me a lot of Princess Morebucks, you know that rich bratty girl from Powerpuff Girls, she even sounded like her too. I wouldn't be surprised if Tara Strong voiced both of them. In fact, I'm pretty sure she did voice both of them.
Anyway, that's the end of this chapter, hope you all enjoyed it, and be sure to keep your eyes peeled for future installments as well as other stories that I could be publishing soon. I hope you enjoy them also if they do get published.
And again, favorite and follow the story if you want to and don't forget to leave a review. Oh, I also want to give a little bump to KingKatsu and his story Teen Titans: Mad City, it's pretty good and I recommend giving it a read.
One more thing, I'll try to get the next chapter out soon, but just in case I don't or can't, I want to wish everyone a happy holiday season, and I hope you all have wonderful New Year and know that someone is thinking out you. I know it's been said many times, many ways, but Merry Christmas to you all.
Until next time, See You Space Cowboys.
