Once again, I'm really sorry for taking too long to update. It's been like a month since my last update and I feel terrible for it. I'm starting to feel like I'm updating one chapter per month. I blame school and work for that.
But now that school is over, I'll be having more time to update. That is if I stop playing Pokemon Y. That game is really addictive. So here's a new chapter for you all that waited patiently for it. I made this chapter longer to make up for my lateness. At the end of the chapter, I will have a special announcement.
Chapter 22: Speed Metal
Cruising along a road at night, Knock Out listens to a news report about illegal street racing being investigated by the Metropolitan P.D as he drives towards his destination. Switching it off, he pulls up alongside three other cars, all revving up their engines, waiting to race.
One of the driver became intrigued by the frame of the new car that pulled over next to him. "Not from around here, European design?" When he received no answer from the driver, he glared. He was being nice to him by saying hello before they race, and he had the decency of not to say hello back? The nerve of that guy. But he then ginned mischievously. "Sure is pretty. Too pretty." The driver used his ring to leave a long scratch in Knock Out's paintwork.
Knock Out inspected the damage by using his rearview mirror, and then used it to look back at the driver, who was looking so smugly with his work before rolling up his window. "Big mistake." Knock Out snarled angrily as he revved up his engine.
The man in front raised up his flashlight and turned it on, signaling them to start racing. It was a dangerous road, with a lot of twist and turns they have to do. Any wrong timing could get them in serious condition. The driver that scratched Knock Out's paint smirked as he checked his interior rearview mirror to see that the other cars were behind him and accelerated even more until he can't see them. But he didn't count on Knock Out to reach up to him at very high speed and rammed into the car.
"Hey!" He cried out.
During a turn around a corner, Knock Out rammed the driver once more, making the driver drive off the mountain road and crashed, landing upside down. Miraculously, he survived the crash.
"Dude." The driver moaned.
"You scratch my paint, I scratch yours." Knock Out sneered from the top of the cliff. He switched his gear into reverse, and left to continue on with the race.
It was a nice afternoon. Jack and Sam had just gotten out of school and headed towards Arcee, who was waiting for them in front of the school. Jack got on, with Sam sitting on the back seat. He wrapped his arms around Jack's waist, much to his pleasure.
Sam always grabs the back whenever the two are driving on Arcee's motorcycle form. He told Sam to grab on to him, in case they are getting chased by Decepticons again. Sam agreed to that and had wrapped his arms around Jack's shoulder. He decided to take it up a notch. He grabbed Sam's arms and wrapped it around his waist, telling him to make sure to have his arms around his waist at all time. Sam, being so dense to Jack's true motive, complied. So now, he always has his arms around Jack's waist, holding on tightly so that his chest is touching firmly onto Jack's back.
Of course, Jack could've done it the other way around, with him in the back and Sam in the front. That way, he could feel up Sam every time without Sam knowing, like a closet pervert, thanks to his denseness. But Arcee had read Jack's mind and had threaten him if he ever does that to him.
Jack put on his helmet and pulled out of the parking spot. As he was about to leave, someone called out to Sam.
"Yo, Spike!" Sam and Jack looked back to see a male with orange hair and green eyes, leaning on his car. "Why don't you ditch cherry moped there and come be with a true man?"
Jack frowned at that. Ever since that jerk, Vince, laid his eyes on Sam, he had declared Sam as his prized trophy. It was all because Sam has a very hot feminine body that all the cheerleading squad are jealous of and even hated him for that, because he's got half the males asking him on dates and such. Even some of the hottest teachers have been giving him the looks. But the girls never voiced out their hatred due to fear and because he has connecting with the army, which was true.
So by staying near Sam, he's making sure no other males will try to have their way with him. What's worst is that Sam is oblivious to everything. To him, Sam thinks that everyone is being nice to him. Heck, he doesn't even knows what dates mean. Every time someone comes up and asked Sam on a date, he tells them today's date. And that only made them want him more – because he's so innocent and pure. Stupid teenage hormones.
"Uh, this moped has dual carbs and goes 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds." Jack answered for Sam, his tone filled with dominance before driving away.
As they turned on the corner, Vince frowned, seeing the dweeb drive off with his prized trophy.
"Uh, Jack, a lady's vital stats are her own business." Arcee begins to scold as they stopped at a traffic light.
"And Ratchet's." Sam added as he looked over Jack's shoulder.
"Hey, boys." Both Sam and Jack shuddered in disgust at the sickening sweet voice. On their left was someone they despise... Carly. "How about you give me a ride on that motorcycle of yours?"
"Buzz off, slut!" Sam sneered at her with hate.
Carly growled at that name. "Shut up, Sam. You don't even know what that means."
"Of course I don't."
"Then why do you keep calling me that if you don't even know what it means?" She asked so smugly.
"Because Mikaela told me to call you that every time you talk to us." Sam replied with his own smug look which seems to anger Carly.
"Why you..." Before Carly could start crossing the street to get to Sam, Vince pulled up in between. Perfect timing.
"Hey, hey, small world." Vince remarked.
"Well, we do live in a small town, so of course we'll run into each other." Jack retorted, causing Sam to giggle.
Vince frowned, but then grin when he thought of a clever scheme to make Jack look bad. "I bet Spikey here might enjoy watching you take on four wheels of muscle car."
Sam snorted quietly. Vince's muscle car pales in comparison to Bumblebee's muscle car, and he looks damn good in it as well.
"Are you challenging me? To a race?" Jack asked in surprise.
"You catch on quick, ponch, what do you say?"
"Uh..."
"Aw, what's the matter? Too scared to race?" Carly said mockingly.
Before Jack could reply to that, the light changed to green, and Arcee took off in haste, causing the two boys to yell in surprise.
"You didn't let me answer."
"Nope."
"Arcee, we can smoke him."
"Yep."
"You just don't get it." Jack sighed as he looked at the rearview mirror to get a glimpse of Sam. There goes his chance on impressing Sam.
"I don't make the rules, Jack, Optimus does. And rule number one – in case you missed it: Never abuse power for personal gain. And that includes horsepower." She informs him as she stopped on another red light.
"I thought rule number one was to keep a low profile." Sam asked as he laid his chin on Jack's shoulder.
"...Whatever. The point is, no means no."
Jack groaned quietly as Vince followed and pulled up besides him. "Vince, maybe racing isn't such a good idea."
Vince laughs with torment. "Figured! You ride around like your bike is something special, but it's just a chunky-clunky trike... and ugly."
As the red light turned green, Vince did a U-turn and and went to the direction he came from.
"That's it, the yahoo's going down!" Arcee declared angrily as she did a U-turn as well and went after Vince.
"Whoa! What happened to rule number one!?"
"Gets bent, just this once."
The three spotted Vince talking to Carly, and Arcee revved up her engine to get their attention.
"Ready when you are, Vince."
Vince smirked. "Dirt road by Drucker's Ranch. One hour."
After exactly one hour, Jack and Vince arrive at the designated area with their respective vehicle. Sam and Carly are standing on the sidelines to watch the race. Sam stood across the road to stay away from Carly.
"From here, to the next mile marker. Ready, go!" Vince yelled so quickly, that he got a head start.
"That was fair." Jack remarked sarcastically as Arcee took off.
Vince looked at his mirror and chuckled when he saw Jack behind him. This is too easy. Once he wins, he'll claim Spike as his trophy and show him who's a true man.
"Uh, Arcee...?" Jack stared at Arcee, wondering why she's lagging behind.
"Winning isn't enough, Jack. You want to make him cry." Arcee explains her method of getting even, which made Jack very frighten of her now.
When Vince checked his rearview mirror again to see how far he left Jack, he was surprise when he didn't spot him. He looked franticly for him, and when he did, he spotted Jack riding along side him. Jack gave a quick wave before Arcee accelerated even faster, passing a very shocked Vince at a high speed. Arcee and Jack let out their own victory sound as they crossed the finish line first.
"Now that we won, does that mean that I can have Sam as my prized boyfriend?" Jack asked hopefully.
"Don't push it."
On the Nemesis ship, Breakdown is buffering the comatose Megatron, under Knock Out's order. He stopped his buffering when he heard Starscream coming in to check on things.
"Ah, Breakdown. Has there been any change in Megatron's condition?"
"Hmm. Only cosmetic."
"Well, I am sure that you and the good doctor have been doing everything in your power. Where is Knock Out?" Starscream asked, realizing that said doctor is missing. When the door opened, Starscream looked back to see Knock Out entering.
"Can you believe what some skinjob did to me?" Knock Out walked towards Megatron's body while showing Starscream a scratch on his arm.
"You have been street racing among the humans again, haven't you?" Starscream asked, even though he already knew.
"I'm not only an automobile, I'm an automobile enthusiast."
"I do strive to run a tight shift, Knock Out. I would strongly suggest that you seek my permission next time you decide to disappear on one of your little... jaunts."
"No worries, Herr Kommandant."
"It is 'Lord' to you." Starscream sneered.
"Only if Megatron takes a nosedive." Knock Out retorted with a singsonged tone.
Starscream snarled in annoyance as he leaned down a bit to Knock Out's level. "The day our master emerges from stasis, I will relinquish the title. But I believe that outcome is unlikely. Something to do with the quality of medical care around here. So continue buffing. We do want Megatron looking his best for the memorial." He ordered as he left the room.
"Buff this." He tells Breakdown, raising his arm that was scratched.
After the race against Vince, Jack, Sam and Arcee returned to the Autobot base. Jack having a happy face when Sam hugged him, saying how cool Jack was during the race, like a bad boy. That seems to boost Jack's ego. Now he felt like a man in front of Sam.
The three arrived inside the base, the three a walking together towards the control room.
"Not a word to anyone." Arcee sternly tells the two boys.
"Our little secret." Jack winked at her while Sam gave a playful salute. Arcee was satisfied and smiled at them before leaving the two.
As soon as she's out of view, Miko came in, yelling at them with excitement and making car noises. "Dude! And the winner is...!"
Jack and Sam looked at each other with horrified faces. "Miko, who told you?"
"You kidding?" She looked at them with disbelief. "It's all over school! Even Miles and Mikaela knows."
"You beat the pants off that blow-hard bully." Rafael joined in the conversation, looking happy as well.
Quickly, Jack pulled the three into a small huddle. You guys have to keep his on the D.L. Especially from Optimus."
The next day, Jack got out of school alone. Sam had no classes in the afternoon so he left with Bumblebee back to base. As he got out, there was a small crowd of students outside, all cheering and clapping for him. Miko was right, it's all over the school. When they came to school in the morning, there were students cheering and clapping and pat on the back. Jack started to love the attention and sometimes would stay behind to talk to people, even the popular ones. If Jack stays too long, Sam would drag him by the ear and telling him to behave. Strangely enough, the males became jealous of Jack. They, too, want to be manhandled by Sam.
Jack walked down the small stairs, feeling all high and mighty from the students who are praising him. "It was no big deal." Jack tells them with a sheepish smile.
"You got that right." Everyone became quiet when Vince stepped in and forcefully bumped shoulders with him as he walked pass Jack. "If you think you can run with the big boys, the circuit, tonight, 11:00 pm."
There was a loud 'ooh' from everyone. They all stared at Jack, waiting to see if Jack accepts the challenge.
Jack rubbed the back of his head nervously. "Oh, well, gee, Vince, I'm afraid I'll have to decline that." There was groans of disappointment from the crowds.
Vince smirked. "I knew it. Well, I guess I'll have to choice but to take Sam away from you."
"What?"
Vince's smirked grew bigger when he noticed that Jack is beginning to glare at him. He knows he's got him on the ropes. "That's right. Between you and me, this race is about who gets to have Sam. And since you forfeit, I'll be taking my trophy, which is Sam. Can't wait to have him in my bed and have him scream my name when I take his virginity. That's right, Darby, I know he's still a virgin. Can't wait to make him my bitch. So what you do say, Darby? Are you in or are you out?"
Jack's glare intensified. It sickens him at the thought of Sam being force to spread his legs like a whore for Vince to see. And how dare he treat Sam as nothing more than a possession. With that thought, we went closer to Vince's face with a look of hatred and bloodlust, he spoke his answer loudly so that everyone could hear.
"You agreed to what!?" Arcee snaps as she and Jack are on the road, heading back to the base.
"It was some kind of secret racing club. I don't know, I had no choice."
"You always have a choice, Jack. And what part of 'just this once' did you not understand?"
"I know, but you should've heard some of the awful things Vince said about Sam. Maybe then you'll understand why I agreed to it."
"Maybe, but Sam is a big boy. He can take care of himself when it comes to human affairs."
"Yeah, I know. But we're on, right?" Jack asked hopefully.
"We are not 'on'."
Once they arrived at the base, Arcee left somewhere, leaving Jack alone. Jack stared at Arcee's retreating form, and then smiled mischievously. She told them they were not on, but she didn't say anything about having another Autobot race with him. Even though he promised he won't race no more, but Vince's words makes him really mad, and he can't let that go by like if it's nothing.
He spotted Bumblebee and smiled. If he tells him what happened, maybe he'll agree to race with him. He knows how much overprotective Bee can get when it comes to Sam. If he tells him what Vince said, Bee will definitely say yes, hands down.
"Hey, Bee!" He waves at him as he ran up to him. "Um, listen, I got to tell you something." Bee buzzed, telling to go on. "Would you... want to go on a race with me?" He asked nervously, not making eye contact.
When he looked up, he saw Bumblebee staring at him, his arms crossed with a look telling him to give him a reason why. So Jack explained to him the reason behind the race, including the part about Vince badmouthing Sam and how he's gonna take Sam's innocence away by force once he wins the race. When he waited for Bumblebee's reaction, he was surprise he kept his cool. He was sure Bumblebee would snap. Guess he was wrong.
He watched as Bumblebee walked passed him without saying nothing. He jumped in fear when Bumblebee punched on a nearby wall, which left a huge hole. Bumblebee turned to face Jack, and he looks like he's ready to murder someone.
"So...are you in?" Jack asked nervously at the sight of an angry and overprotective Autobot. When Bumblebee nodded, Jack smiled, knowing that Bumblebee is up for crushing Vince. "Great!"
"I don't think Sam would let you race with him, Jack." Miko stated as she appeared out of nowhere.
"Uh, Miko, how much did you heard?"
"Long enough. But how are you gonna go on that race? Sam won't let you."
"We don't tell him. I'll just say I'll be borrowing Bumblebee for a while and that's it."
"Alright. I'll help you out if it doesn't work."
With a nod, the three went to the control room where Sam is located. Once arrived, they spotted him, all glued to the TV playing a zombie game called Left 4 Dead 2. Jack walked up the gallery and called out his name.
Sam briefly looked at Jack before going back to the game. He let out a girly startled yelp when a special infected called a Charger charged at his hillbilly character and killed him, costing him the game. He was doing so good on Expert and was so close to the evacuation vehicle, but Jack ruined it by distracting him. He turns his attention back at Jack and glares darkly at him.
Jack chuckles nervously as begins to squirm under Sam's glare. "Uh...is there any way I could borrow Bumblebee for an hour?"
"For what?" Sam asked suspiciously.
"Oh, no reason. Just wanting to get to know Bumblebee a bit better."
"You're going racing again, aren't you?" He asked with a knowing look.
"What!? No!" A harsh stern look from Sam changed his answer. "What gave it away?"
"Seriously? You say you want to get to know Bumblebee a bit better, but you can you if you can't even understand what he's saying?"
"Oh, right." Jack laughed nervously. "So, can we?" He asked hopefully.
Sam gestured Jack to come closer. Once Jack got closer, Sam pulled Jack's ear, but not too harshly, causing Jack to yelp in pain. "I would have let you go on that race, but because you got me killed, neither of you are going to that race. Do I make myself clear?"
"Yes, sir." Jack's voice was strain from the pain.
Sam nodded and let go of Jack's ear. He look back at Bumblebee, waiting for him to answer. Bumblebee nodded, letting out a dejected sigh and a look that looks like a kicked puppy. Sam was satisfied with their answer and went back to playing the game.
"But, Sam, he's got to defend his girl." Miko cried out, stepping in to help Jack and Bumblebee.
"His girl?" Sam asked in confusion, his eyes glued to the TV. "Who's she?"
"You are!"
"Excuse me!?" Sam let out a girlish sound as he faced Miko with a horrified look. And because he took his eyes off his game, he was overrun by a zombie horde attack and died. He stood up from where he's sitting and glared at Miko for getting himself killed and for calling him a girl. "In what way do I look like a girl?!" Sam asked, his hand resting on his tilted hip, like a girl would do when she's angry or demands an explanation.
"Um..." Jack quickly covered Rafael's mouth with his hand to prevent him from commenting that would make Sam even angry.
"Ignore him. Please, Sam. Let me and Bee go on that race. This has nothing to do with me. It's you. Vince said something horrible about you, and I can't let that go. And if I win this race, he'll stay away from you, as promised."
"Aw, that's sweet of you. Alright, you two can go on that race." Both Jack and Bumblebee cheered. "But..." The two stopped when they heard the 'but'. Of course, there will be some conditions if he wants to go on that race. "You can only go on that race if you can beat me in a game."
Bee and Jack looked at each other before shrugging their shoulders. "Alright, I'll take you on."
"Good. Wait here for a moment." Sam rushed down the stair and into the hallway towards his room. Once Sam disappeared, Jack looked at Miko.
"What was that for?" He demanded.
"What?"
"Why did you have to tell Sam that he looks like a girl?"
"Well, he does looks like a girl." Bulkhead stepped in, earning a nod of agreement from everyone else.
"True, but you don't have to say that in front of him." Jack scold him.
Moments later, Sam came back, with his hands behind his back, and made his way up the catwalk. He had a wicked smile on his face as he reveals what he has on his back. The three kids felt their jaw drop when they saw the thing Sam has in his hands. The two Autobots were confused with their reaction.
"You can't be serious, Sam."
Sam smiled wickedly at Jack. "If you can beat me in a game of Monopoly, then I'll let you and Bee race. But just that race, after that, no more."
"But, Sam, no one ever loses on that game. That thing can go on for hours." Miko stated with her eyes wide in shock.
"Exactly."
"You really don't want me to go on that race, do you?"
"You know me too well." Sam chuckled as he began to set up the board game. "Now, hurry up and take your place, Jack. Raf, you can be the banker."
The two got to their position as they sat around the small table. Jack has no idea why he's agreeing to this. This is just Sam's way of stalling for time. Miko, Bulkhead and Bumblebee took their spots to get a view of the game. They're interested to know how the game will go since it could go for hours. Humans have such strange games.
"Alright. If you can beat me, I'll let you go. But if I win, you will stop going on races from now on. And if it's true that Vince said something horrible behind my back like you said, I'll deal with him personally. You got it?" He asked Jack, which he nodded in agreement.
Sam smiled as he grabbed the dice. Everything is going according to plan. He'll stall Jack until Arcee comes back. Once she does, then Jack will have no choice but to stay at the base. He would've let Bee and Jack race, but he costed him the game.
"Alright! Let the game begin!" Sam announces as he shook the dice and took the first roll of the turn.
It was dark outside of Jasper, with the full moon up and cloudy skies, with almost few minutes left before they suppose to arrive at the race track. Bumblebee, along with Jack and Sam as his passengers, are heading to the location Vince told Sam where this circuit might be, somewhere on the concrete channel. Along the way, both Bee and Jack are having an uncontrollable laughter, while Sam is at the back seat, his face red from embarrassment, and glaring at the two. The combination of the two only made Jack and Bee laugh even harder.
"I really can't believe that happened!" Jack laughed hard as he teased Sam.
"Shut up, Jack." Sam growled, his face becoming even redder.
"I mean, seriously, how can someone lose at Monopoly in just one turn?" Jack asked in humor, both Bumblebee and Jack laughing even more.
"Shut up! It's not my fault that game is stupid." He retorted with a pout as he remembered what happened.
It was the start of Sam turn and he rolled the dice. He then moved his piece equal to the number he rolled. Once he landed on a space, he suddenly lost his money. No, he didn't misplace the money, he just lost it, went bankrupt. And if you went bankrupt, you lose the game. Sam was appalled at this for having to lose already on the very first turn of the game and demanded a rematch.
Feeling pity for Sam's sudden loss, he accepted the rematch. On the second round, Sam rolled first. And again, he lost the game. That's when the sniggering started. Sam demanded a rematch, and Jack accepts. The third round he lost again. Then they went to their fourth round, and Sam still lost on the first turn. Then they went to their fifth, then sixth, then seventh, and so on, all with the same result. By the eight round, the laughter started, with Miko recording everything on her phone so that she can show it to Miles and Mikaela.
After twenty rounds, Sam gave up, giving glares at everyone that are laughing at his predicament. Bumblebee and Jack gave each other high-five. Bumblebee transformed and Jack go in the driver seat, follow by Sam who decided to join them to make sure they won't get into any trouble with the authorities. But along the way to the race tracks, the two kept teasing Sam over what happened. Oh, he's so going to kill them.
"You lost in every single game, and I haven't even rolled the dice once." Jack stated as the two continue to laugh.
Sam groaned as he fell to his side, his face buried in the soft leather seat with his back facing the two. "I hate you both." Sam's voice was muffled by the seat.
"Aw, we love you, too." Jack said teasingly as he rubs Sam's hips affectionally. He reatracted his hand when Sam's hand was about to slap it away. A sweet moan came out from Sam as he accidentally slapped his own ass. Aroused by the sight, Jack attempts to make a grab to Sam's ass, but Bumblebee stopped him by tightening the seatbelt.
When they arrived a few minutes later, there were racers already there. Sam got out of Bumblebee and went to join with the audience, since there can't be two people in the same car, but not before slapping Bumblebee's hood and calling him a traitor. That got only a electronic laugh out from him. Once Sam had left, Bumblebee and Jack pulled up to where the other drivers are. Both what the three didn't know was that Knock Out haul up behind them.
Jack rolled down the window, so that Vince, who was waiting next to him in his car, could see he actually came. When Vince got a look at Jack and his new car, he looked surprise that he came with a muscle car instead of the motorcycle.
"Bike's in the shop." Jack says to him cooly. Once he faced the front, he smiled when Sam appeared in front of them. He waved at them and mouthed a good luck.
Vince became angry when Jack stopped paying attention to him and started ogling at his trophy.
"Circuit drivers, are you ready!?" The announcer yelled in excitement. "Play it hard, but keep it clean. Fire 'em in 5...4...3...2...1!"
When the countdown reached to one, Sam lowered his raised arm down, as a sign that all racers can start racing. Both Vince and Jack have left the other racers behind and the two jostle for lead position. From behind them, was Knock Out.
"The Autobot they call Bumblebee." He noted as he reaches up to Vince. Once he did, he rams into his car to prevent him from getting in his way. After that, he begins his chase.
Bumblebee recognized the vehicle and begins to inform Jack. But unfortunately, Jack has a problem with the communication barrier. So instead, he took the wheels and dodged the attacks from Knock Out's blaster. To avoid getting any other humans involved, Bumblebee had left the race tracks and took the fight into the empty roads.
"Can you lose him, Bee?" Jack asked. Bumblebee replied back, but Jack couldn't understand him. "I hope that means yes. 'Cause I rather not call base for backup."
Back at the base, the three has finally calmed down after Sam's embarrassing loss. So now, Miko and Raf are playing a racing game on Sam's console, with Bulkhead watching from behind.
"Has anyone seen the boys?" Arcee asked the two kids. Mentioning about the boys caused them to freeze.
The two looked at each other, hoping they could make a convincing lie. "...not since we last saw them." Miko replied nervously.
"They're racing, aren't they?" Arcee narrowed her eyes at the two.
"Just this once." Raf piped in.
"Did you know about this?" She turned her glare to Bulkhead, who was suppose to be watching over them.
"NO. Maybe. A little."
Arcee sighed tiredly at this. Just then, an incoming call came in, and it was none other then Bumblebee. There were tires screeching in the background as he reports to base that he's being chased by Knock Out.
"Bee, do not engage. Your first priority is to keep the boys safe. Until I get my hands on their scrawny necks." She murmurs dangerously.
Bumblebee dumps oil on the road behind him. Knock Out begins to spin due to the slippery road and halted to a stop before it could do any damage to his paint. Taking his chance, Bumblebee ducks under a bridge and turned off his engine and light. Knock Out arrived at the bridge and came to a stop to try to find Bumblebee. When he couldn't find him, he started his engine and left.
Jack let out a sigh of relief. "I think we lost him, Bee. Oh, you got to be kidding me!" He groans as Vince hauls in front of Jack and Bumblebee.
"Darby!" Vince yelled as he pounded his fist into his open hand.
Not far, Knock Out screech to a halt as he adjusted his mirror and spotted a bright light under the bridge. He then started to reverse back quietly.
"Vince, you have to get out of here." Jack tries to warn him. "You win, ok? Congratulations. Now go!" Even though he regrets saying that, he needs to get Vince away from danger.
But Vince was stubborn as he slammed his hands on Bee's hood, which made Bee a bit angry. "No. No. Start her back up, loser. We're finishing this race. Don't want to take it to the finish line? Fine. Then we've got something to settle right here, right now."
Vince was suddenly picked up and was thrown into the air. There was a sound of transforming and Vince landed on the passenger seat. Seatbelt were wrapped around him to prevent him from escaping as he begins to struggle. A small Energon zapper appeared in front of Vince's face and zapped him into unconsciousness.
Jack ran up to Knock Out, but he already drove off with Vince as hostage. "Breakdown, you'll never guess what I'm packing. Bumblebee's human brother. And when the Autobots attempts to stage a rescue..."
"He has a... breakdown." Breakdown laughs at his own joke over the comm link.
"Bee. he's getting away!" Jack yells as Bumblebee came out from the hiding spot, speaking to him through electronic sounds. "I can't understand you! Look, I'm not Sam or Raf. Can't you just honk once for bad news and twice for good news?"
There were three honks and Jack looked over the bridge and saw Arcee and Bulkhead arriving. The three Autobots transformed and all looked down at Jack, Arcee having a scowl on her face.
"Jack, we need to have a little chat."
"Later, Arcee. Vince got snatched by that slick sports car 'Con."
"What would Knock Out want with a random human?"
"He probably mistook Vince for Bumblebee's human brother. I don't know, it doesn't matter why he took him. Vince is in trouble."
"Oh well, tough break for Vince." Bulkhead shrugged without a care.
"Bulkhead!"
"What? I hear that guy's a jerk."
"No argument there, but the guy is also innocent. Vince doesn't deserves to get crushed by 'Cons." Can't believe he found himself defending Vince, after the way he talks about Sam.
After careful consideration, Arcee made up her mind and transform into her vehicle form. "Hop on."
"They should've called by now. You think Bumblebee is ok?" Raf asked Miko with great worry.
"Don't worry, Raf. Bulkhead won't let anything happened to Jack, Sam or Bee.
There was a loud footsteps and the kids looked in fear when Optimus finally came back to base. And in the worst time possible.
"We should just tell Optimus the truth." Raf whispered in fear.
"Absolutely not! We made a dead. Just act completely normal."
"Raf, Miko, do either one of you know where Sam and the others have gone?"
"Why, no, sir. We do not know." Miko replied.
"Miko is correct. We do not know." Raf added stiffly.
"Why would we know?"
"Hmm..." Optimus raised his eyebrow in suspicion. Honestly, it's a miracle the kids haven't blown their cover with their parents yet.
The rest of the Autobots have been searching for Knock Out all over the city. When they came to a stop, Knock Out went pass them. They turned and began following him. Knock Out spotted them and noticed Bumblebee brought more company. He made another turn.
"On your guard, boys, could be a trap." She advices them as they went off after Knock Out, while she stops by the corner of the street. "Speaking of safety, here's where you get off." Once Jack got off, Arcee went after the others.
Bumblebee and Bulkhead transformed and began to scout a parking lot. As they do so, Arcee climbed up to the water tower to get a bird's eye view. As the two Autobots are on the ground, searching for Knock Out, they were caught by surprise when headlights aimed at them. Then, the wall next to them crumbled and Breakdown charged in and attacked the two Autobots. As the three duke it out, Knock Out noticed a third Autobot missing and began searching for her while remaining in his vehicle mode.
"Where is the two-wheeler?" He asked to himself. His question was answered when said two-wheeler landed on top of his roof and started slamming her fist on his hood. "Hey! Watch the paint!" He growled. He started his engine and bailed, leaving Breakdown to handle Bumblebee and Bulkhead.
Knock Out and a sharp turn, causing Arcee to roll of him, but she was quick to transform and went after Knock Out.
"Uh, Breakdown, in case you're looking for me, things got messy, so I hit the road. One scream is enough for today." Knock Out radios him as Breakdown was in the middle of advancing Bumblebee. Unfortunately, the call distracts Breakdown long enough for Bulkhead to deck him with a street lamp.
On the road, Arcee started to catch up to Knock Out, but Knock Out added more pressure to the accelerator and went even faster. Arcee let out a frustrated sigh, seeing that Knock Out is getting farther away from her.
"Eat my dust!" Knock Out gloated.
There was a loud truck horn blaring in the night, and Optimus came to the rescue as he knocks Knock Out onto the embankment.
"Optimus, Knock Out has a hostage." Arcee quickly warns him before he could deal any serious damage to Knock Out.
"Understood." With the 'Con unable to flee, Optimus rips his door off and retrieves the unconscious Vince.
Knock Out removed himself from Optimus' hold and transform into his robot form to inspect his damaged arm that he had done to him. "Do you know how hard that is to replace!?" Knock Out growled in anger. As soon as he spotted the rest of the Autobots arriving, he quickly retreats.
"Optimus, this is my fault." Jack tries to explain before things could get worse for others. He takes full responsibility of what happened today.
"We must get this boy to safety immediately. Explanation can come later... From all of you." He declare, his optics shows anger and displeased for their behavior.
Everyone looked down in guilt.
Vince finally woke up in Bumblebee on the way back to Vince's car and asked what happened. Jack spins a story to cover the whole thing.
"Some guys jumped you under the bridge and they tossed you into their trunk. Must have been some kind of initiation."
"Really?" He asked in disbelief.
"Yeah, I found you knock out by the side of the road."
Bumblebee arrived at the bridge where Vince's car was still underneath. Bee's door opened, allowing Vince to get off before closing after him.
"Look, I gotta be honest. After what I saw tonight, I'm thinking racing isn't my thing."
"I hear you, Darby. Hard to win a race driving a pedal car." He said mockingly.
That comment seems to made Bumblebee angry as he stepped on the pedal and left Vince all alone in his dust. Now he understands why Arcee accepted that race in the first place.
"Knock Out! Was I not clear!? You have defied my orders yet again!" Starscream yells in pure anger.
"My mistake, Commander Starscream. But, I've learned my lesson... and paid the price." Knock Out stated, mourning over the loss of this door.
"It. Is. LORD!" He corrected Knock Out as he got dangerously close to Knock Out. "And you have paid when I say you have paid!" He extends a sharpened finger, which Knock Out flinch in fear. "Do not worry, your punishment shall be merely... cosmetic."
"No, not the finish! Anything but the finish!" Knock Out pleaded as the sharpened finger descended and begins to leave scratches on his paint job. Breakdown cringed at the sound of screeching metal and the sound of Knock Out's dramatic yell.
The whole gang had returned to base. Miko and Raf looking guilty for having betrayed them to Optimus. Once everyone had gathered, Optimus demanded an explanation. Jack stepped up front, since he's the one who's feeling the one to blame. But first, he told Miko to take Raf to Sam's room until he's done explaining what Vince said. Miko argued to stay, but a look from Jack kept her quiet and took Raf to Sam's room.
Once they left, Jack began to explain everything that had happened, from start to finish. He told him about the first race with Arcee. Then the next day after school, Vince came up to him and challenged him to a race. At first he declined, but what he said about Sam made him angry. He told that he was going to take Sam away from him, and make him his. He also told them that Vince was going to take Sam to his bed and make him scream his name as he steals Sam's virginity. And that was why he accepted the challenge; so he can protect Sam.
When he looked at everyone, they all had a look that they are ready to murder Vince. He could relate. Instead of accepting the challenge, he wanted to punch Vince in the face. Maybe he should've done that instead of going to that race. And he'll gladly be suspended from school instead of getting the Autobots involved in his affairs.
After hearing everything, Optimus spoke up. "Very well. I see that your intention was pure and to protect Sam. For that, I thank you, Jack."
"It was nothing, Optimus. Although, I could've just give Vince a knuckle-sandwich and get myself suspended from school than having gotten everyone in trouble for my idiotic decision."
"No, I'm glad you decided to take on that race. If you hadn't, Knock Out would probably go on more street racing with the humans and inflict injuries upon them. Also, I'm sure that race would've probably made this Vince person stay away from Sam from now on. I won't punish you all for breaking the rules."
"Thanks, Optimus." Jack said with a smile on his face, while everyone else had a look of relief that they escaped Optimus' punishment.
Optimus hummed before looking around the base. "By the way, where is Sam?" Optimus asked as his optics landed on Jack and Sam. He frowned when he saw the look of horror in everyone's faces and Jack had went pale. Looks like there will be some punishment, after all.
Sam sneezed once more and shivered from the cold. How stupid was he that he forgot to bring his sweater. What's worst was that his phone died. Sam has been standing by the finish line, waiting for Jack and Bumblebee to win the race. The other racers had arrived at the finish line and then later left, leaving him alone by the finish line. He waited for what felt like an hour or so, and they have yet to arrive.
One thing came to mind: They had completely forgotten all about him and had went back to base.
He would have walked, but he decided to stay, in case they come back and pick him up. And besides, all of his friends' home are just across town and it's too far to walk. It would probably be at least two hours to get to either one of their place. And if he did go, and if Bumblebee came to pick him up only to find him missing, then all of the Autobots will go into panic mode. They'll probably go overboard and send Lennox and Epps and all of N.E.S.T soldiers to search the town for him, probably raid into people's houses in case he gets kidnapped by humans.
He has no choice but to stay here and wait for someone to come and pick him up, while keeping an eye out for dangers as he does so. Good thing he brought his Angel Blade with him.
He growled angrily as he shivered in the cold, dark night. "I am so going to kill those two for forgetting to come and pick me up." And if no one came by morning, there will be hell to pay.
Alright, like I said, I have a special announcement:
The wait is almost over. Starting on Monday, I'll start writing the sequel for Sam's Vengeance. For those of you who haven't read it yet, read it now. If you want to. For those of you who have read it, I'm sorry that it took three months to start writing it. I had trouble on how to start it. You see, I decided that Sam will not join in the fight until the end of the TV movie. But during those past months, I have been making ideas on the story plot. I will use stuffs like weapons, history, and abilities from the War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron video games.
There will be surprises and sad moments that would probably make you want to cry and be angry with me. Don't know how long it will be, but I have decided to make another sequel once I'm finish with the upcoming sequel.
Here's a summary of the sequel: The end of everything! Sam makes a move worth millions of years in the planning—an ultimate plan to remake Cybertron and destroy both the Autobots and Decepticons if they should go against him! The biggest Cybertronian war in all of history.
It is still a working progress. I might add more or change it a bit. As for the title, I think I might go with A War for True Peace. Again, this title is a working progress. It is not official. If anyone has a title for the sequel, I'm all ears. Remember, the sequel is all about a new war that Sam has started.
I almost forgot. I will put this story on hold for a while. But if you want a new chapter of this story, PM me if you want the next chapter. I will start writing it ASAP.
Thank you all for waiting for this chapter, and hope to see you all in the sequel. Please review.
