How Taking Down Legacy Failed

I lifted my body up slightly, my head was partly killing me, I turned to the side, eleven my alarm clock read. John was still asleep next to me. I was trying to remember everything that happened yesterday, but I just couldn't. I might have done something stupid and not know about it. At least I had something planned for today; John had promised we could hang out today so I won't have a reason to go back to the bar. I laid still until John woke up, if I woke him up, he would be a bitch about it all day so I let the WWE champion have his rest. I haven't heard from Melina and Ted, kind of sucked because they are my best friends and I kind of feel distant to them. I hate couples! And it's like, if I hung out with them both at the same time, they are going to be so couply and I will feel like the third wheel and it will make me lonely and think about Randy!

I think too much!

I don't know how long I laid there until John finally woke up. We just stayed in bed for awhile, his arm wrapped around my waist and my head on his chest.

"So what are we doing today?" I asked looking up at him; yet again his face pulled a face which showed he forgot. I took my head away from his chest; I was even more pissed off. I let him off for yesterday, but he promised he would make it up to me and he does this.

"Mickie…" He went to pull me back into bed, but I just pushed him away. Looks like I'm going to spend another day at the bar!

"Don't John" I grabbed my clothes and got changed in the bathroom. How many times was he going to promise me things and then let me down? Ok, once, fair enough, but twice? He is making a habit of it. As soon as I got changed, I head straight for the door, John jumped out of bed.

"Where are you going?" He asked me, holding the door shut.

"Out" I replied trying to re-open the door.

"Where?" He asked again, I sighed and looked at him.

"To where someone actually wants to spend time with me" I replied coldly, I opened the door and walked out. I heard him sigh with frustration.

John's P.O.V

Mickie could be so high maintenance at times, I mean, she always wants me to spend time with her, but when we do, she refuses to have sex! So I make other arrangements, like today. Sam is spending the day with Randy, so I asked Layla to spend the day together, doing what I want to do, but in my defence I did forgot that Mickie asked me to spend the day with her. Oh well, I will make it up to her tomorrow, she can't stay pissed at me for long, she tried, but failed.

I shut the door after Mickie stormed out and got changed. I was meeting Layla where me and Sam met last time. I got changed and headed up there.

I turned the door knob to find Layla already in there, dressed in lingerie, I licked my lips as I saw her, she smirked. She came towards me and trailed her hand up and down my chest before pulling me in.

If Mickie ever found out I was with Layla right now, she despises Layla, she would murder her, not me! She loves me too much! Mickie isn't the brightest crayon in the box, the other girls I've been with catch on that I'm cheating on them, but Mickie is too blinded in love to see.

Mickie's P.O.V

I walked into the hotel bar, I searched around the place, a few more WWE superstars then yesterday, but none of them in which I was friends with, but that's when my eyes landed on the man sitting at the bar. CODY!!! I jumped at the chance to sit next to him. He didn't see straight away that I was there so I just sat there smiling at him until he noticed.

He took his time! When he finally saw I was sitting next to him he rolled his eyes and turned his back to me.

"Buddy! Don't be like that! We're all women here!" I tapped his back repeatedly; he grunted and faced back to the bar.

"SO what's a good looking fella like you doing alone here?" He looked at me weirdly; I suddenly felt déjà vu, where did I get that line from? Was it from yesterday? Am I remembering something?

"Well, since you decided to hook my best friend up with your best friend, they've been spending all their time together" Cody replied taking a sip of his drink.

"I know how you feel there!" I patted him on the back.

"So where is your precious John?" He asked me, I scoffed at his name.

"What? Trouble in paradise?" Cody said noticing that I scoffed when he mentioned John.

"Trust me Cody buddy, it ain't paradise!" I replied, grabbing his drink and taking a long sip of it.

"Better then my love life! Ted was supposed to be setting me up with someone, but no, he is too busy with his new girlfriend" Cody said to me, taking his drink back.

"Well here is an idea! How about we become best buds! Spend all our time together! Block them out and see how they like it! And I'll even set you up with someone as long as you don't ditch me like Melina and Ted have done!" I told Cody, I stuck out my hand for him to shake. He starred at it for awhile thinking.

"It's better then being by myself all day" He rolled his eyes, but he shook my hand. Me and Cody were best buddies!!! I found my new friend!

"Excellent! So now setting you up with someone, hmm" I scanned the room hoping to find someone that I could set Cody up with, my eyes stopped at one person.

"Oh my god, Ashley?!" She turned around hearing her name, she smiled when she saw me and pulled me into a hug, it was then I realised the look on Cody's face, he was so checking her out! Well that was easy! Now I just have to get her to go on a date with him!

"What are you doing here?" I asked her.

"Travelling around with the WWE again! But I'm not wrestling until 2010" She replied smiling; I noticed Cody was still starring at her, yep! Found a winner here!

"Cool cool, how come you didn't tell me?"

"I wanted it to be a surprise" Her eyes drifted to Cody. I smirked; it looked like she might like him back!

"Where are my manners? Cody this is Ashley, Ashley, Cody" I said introducing them, they shook hands.

"Ah my phone is vibrating, it's John, do excuse me for a moment!" I apologised to them and rushed at the room. John hadn't really called me; I just wanted to give them a moment alone for them to get to know each other. I stood just outside the bar watching them, I texted Cody to ask her out, he looked at his phone and then at me. I put my thumbs up to encourage him. They spoke for awhile and then she came towards me, she was leaving the bar, I quickly hid as she went past, I then rushed over to Cody.

"She said yes" He told me slowly, I think he was shocked himself; I pulled Cody in a man hug,

"When for?" I asked him.

"Tomorrow night" He replied.

"So tomorrow we will go shopping, get you all set up for your date!" I told him making plans for myself, now I will be the one to busy for John; I will be the one too busy for Ted and Melina.

"Fine, but we are not going to go to extreme" Cody replied, finishing his drink.

"You know, we should get matching BFFE bracelets!" He gave me a look which meant 'Not going to happen' I just poked my tongue out at him. "You know Cody, this could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship" I grinned at him, he looked partly scared.

Melina's P.O.V

I laid on Ted's chest, I was so happy with him, I could just be myself, it was something I hadn't felt in a long time. He was sweet, kind and everything I wanted in a guy. I felt like the luckiest girl alive. We had spent the past two days together and they have been bliss.

"We should ask Mickie if she wants to do something tomorrow" I told Ted.

"Yeah we should, I miss her! I hope she doesn't feel left out" He replied.

"Me either, that's the last thing I want" I said, I really hope she didn't, it's like I love it when Me, Mickie and Ted hang out together, it's just that, we do need our couple time! It's so hard to balance out your boyfriend and your best friend, especially when they are really good friends too. I wonder what she had been up to the past couple of days, probably spending time with John. She was saying she was going to try harder to make things work with him.

Mickie's P.O.V

It was about 10pm, I had been in the bar hanging with Cody for quite awhile, we had both agreed that the arguing between us shall not stop as we both agreed that it is fun! I was walking up when I saw Melina and Ted heading towards me, Great!

"Hey Mickie" They both greeted me, I smiled at them.

"We were wondering if you wanted to do something tomorrow?" Melina asked me. This is what I had been waiting for.

"Ah, can't got plans, rain check?" They both looked shocked that I had plans that didn't include them, boy did I feel proud!

"Sure" Melina replied smiling, I waved them goodbye and walked away with the biggest smile on my face. Now to do it to John! I entered our hotel room to see him watching TV.

"Hey baby" He got up and put his arms around my waist. "I'm sorry about earlier, I will make it up to your tomorrow" He kissed my lips, I pulled out.

"Hmm tomorrow is a bad day for me, how about the day after tomorrow?" I replied, he too looked shocked.

"I thought we were going to spend the day together?" He asked me confused.

"Yeah well I thought you were going to cancel our plans again so I made other arrangements" I shrugged and pulled off my jacket.

"Well can't you cancel?" He said to me. I looked at him, why should I cancel my plans?!

"You never cancelled yours" I retorted.

"I had important plans"

"And my plans aren't important?" I asked him raising my brows.

"No I didn't mean that, I mean we never get to spend time together" How can he say that? I've been wanting to for the past few days but he keeps standing me up and the one time I do it to him he gets all pissy about it!

"And who's fault is that?" I said to him in an annoying voice. I pushed myself out of his arms and got into bed. I was shattered. Match making took the life out of me. I had quite a good day today, so as for John cancelling on me, it actually worked out for the best! I was going to go shopping tomorrow with Cody, get him something to wear on his date, maybe get him a hair cut and at the same time, hang out with him! Who knows, maybe this is the start of a beautiful friendship! And hopefully I can get closer to Ashley too!
