Funny thing happened to me. I've gotten half way through on this chapter in one day. Would've finished it and posted probably two weeks ago, but my chapter wasn't saved, and I lost it.

Normally when I close my Documents, it saves automatically. It didn't this time, and I was furious. I neglected my chapter for a few days because I was pissed, then I typed whatever it came up my mind. Probably made a few mistakes.

Hope you enjoy it, because I didn't enjoy rewriting it. XD

Chapter 29: Operation: Confront Silas

In a ghost town located in Eastern Russia, there was two giant robots pummeling at each other. One was green, the other blue. The two have been out on scouting mission when they have been tracking on an Energon signature. The two encountered each other in a deserted town, and due to their rivalry, the moment they laid their eyes on each other, they start bashing at each other.

The green one, Bulkhead, was slammed to the building, while the blue one, Breakdown, started laughing. Bulkhead charged at Breakdown and the two locked hands.

"Where's your pet human?" He looked around to see if the boy was somewhere near the two. He would mostly be somewhere around to cheer for his 'Uncle'. "How about when I finished with you, I pay him a visit?"

Something snapped inside Bulkhead. Anger starts to rise up as Bulkhead let out a cry, tackling Breakdown to the ground. Breakdown was unfazed by the attack, but found it very amusing to see Bulkhead react to his threat.

"So, the Wrecker's got a soft spot!"

Enraged, Bulkhead transformed his hand into his wreaking ball and went to smash Breakdown's head. But he was quick to evade the hit by rolling out of the way. He swung his hammer at Bulkhead's head, making him fly to the ground. Bulkhead starts to lose conscious, he sees Breakdown looming over him.

"As much as I'll miss our reunions...hammer time." Breakdown raised up his hammer, ready to finish off Bulkhead. But something attached itself on Breakdown's chest and was suddenly zapped by a blast of energy, leaving him out cold.

Replacing Breakdown from his vision was a couple of helicopters flying over and landing. Believing it to be Agent Fowler and NEST coming to his rescue, he closed his eyes and let the darkness take over.

Once the helicopters landed, instead of Fowler, Silas emerges with armed troopers surrounding the two motionless bodies. One of the trooper went up to Silas.

"Sir, we only have the resources to transport one."

Silas gave a thought and looked at Breakdown with a smile. "Take the victor."

It has been an hour since MECH and Silas arrived, and Bulkhead starts to come around. He might have gotten a concussion because he's hearing a tiny voice calling out to him. He groan in pain and went back to resting the pain off. He heard the very familiar voice getting louder and kick on the head.

"Bulkhead, get up!"

Bulkhead quickly sat up, ignoring the dizziness felt when he did so and looked around for the voice that sounded real. To his surprise, he saw a GroundBridge not far from his position. He looked down and saw Sam with his hands on his hips, looking very angry.

"It's about time, Bulkhead. I've been trying to reach you, but you wouldn't answer. You were suppose to report in about an hour ago. Do you know how worried I was?"

Bulkhead rubbed the part of his head that was kicked by Sam. That kick hurts more than the blow Breakdown dealt. "I'm sorry, Sammy. Breakdown got me really good and I was out cold."

Sam was displeased with the answer. His frowned was marked upon his face. "Damn it, Bulkhead! You could've called for backup." Sam quickly raised a finger to him from interrupting. "I don't care if he's your rival. You don't go fighting a Decepticon alone. Let's be glad Breakdown didn't finished you off."

"Yeah, why didn't he?" Now that Sam said it, he finds it strange that Breakdown didn't kill him while he's down for the count. Remembering back, he could've swear he heard choppers, but it was all a blur.

"It doesn't matter now." Sam grabbed one of Bulkhead's finger and tugged towards the portal. "Now, let's head back to base before I get in even more trouble."

"What did you do?" He asked.

Sam looked away sheepishly while kicking the dirt. "Nothing." He replied somewhat innocently.

"Sam." He gave a warning tone. It's not like he's mad or anything. He just want the juicy details. Only one Bot can punish Sam, and he has a feeling he did something bad.

"I may have... kinda... said a swear word at Ratchet."

Bulkhead fell back to the ground, laughing his tailpipe off. He never thought Sam would even said a swear at Ratchet. He has said a few swear words, but never at him. It has been ages since Sam cussed at Ratchet. As a baby, Sam could get away with it no problem. But now that he's a teenager, one wrong slip-up, and Ratchet's coming to get ya.

Sam started pouting, and threw a rock at Bulkhead's head. "Shut up. This is mostly your fault, Bulk."

Bulkhead calmed his laughter down and wiped off an non-existence tear. "How is this my fault?"

"I was worried about you. I was pacing around Ratchet's area, waiting for you to call me. Ratchet got annoyed of my pacing, so he told me to beat it." Sam stayed quiet for a bit, not wanting to relive the moment. Knowing Bulkhead, he'll poke fun at him. He caved in when Bulkhead started poking him. "I dropped the 'F' bomb."

Bulkhead started to laugh hysterically. Sam stood here pouting with a blush on his face. "He must've done something horrible to you. What did he do to you?"

"He shoved a bar of soap in my mouth and locked me in my room." Remembering that part made Sam start spitting and rubbing his tongue. He could still taste the soap in his mouth, even though it's been half an hour.

"You know Ratchet is true to his words."

"Which is why we need to head back home." Sam grabbed Bulkhead's finger again and started pulling to the direction to the GroundBridge.

"What's the big hurry?" Bulkhead asked. He sat up straight, not budging from his spot.

Sam lets go of Bulkhead's finger and looks at him with slight fear on his face. "I snuck out when Ratchet wasn't around. If he finds out I snuck out and used the GroundBridge," Sam shivered in fear, he felt something crawl up his spine, "I don't want to think of what he might do to me."

"I can think of a few."

Sam felt his heart skip a beat when he heard the most terrifying thing in his entire life. Ever so slowly, he turns around to face the devil. First, he starts off by looking at the feet, the familiar color of white and red paint job. His eyes travel to the beautiful strong chassis that's filled with warmth, love and kindness. Sam knows he has none of that, but he'll use that to sweet talk him. He could see those giant muscle arms looking so massive when crossed. Finally, he's now face-to-face with the face he knows and love. The blue optics drilling holes on him, looking terrifying with that infamous glare he's known for.

Sam knees gave up on him and he fell to his butt. He let out a big gulp that he was holding. "R-R-Ratchet, n-n-nice d-d-day w-w-we're h-h-having." Damn his stutter. He turn his head to Bulkhead, praying he save him, but he's looking the other way. That traitor.

"Hope you've enjoyed your last moment of freedom, Samuel Witwicky, because you won't be getting a taste of it for a very long time." Ratchet spoke with such authority and evil in his tone.

"Ah, scrap." A small squeak escaped from Sam's lips. His field of vision was soon shrouded by Ratchet's approaching hand.

The rest of the Autobots watches as Ratchet, Sam and Bulkhead exits out of the GroundBridge portal. But there was something hilarious about this scene. Ratchet has Sam in his hand, dangling him upside down by the legs as the three are heading to the med-bay. They know right away Sam did something to get himself in deep trouble with Ratchet.

"Hey, Sam, how's it hanging?"

Sam looked at Bee with a scowl. "Shut it." His responds only made Bee laugh.

"What did you do this time?" Arcee asked.

"The brat just cursed at me." Ratchet replied as he dropped Sam on the couch and then bounced off to the floor, face first.

Sam groaned in pain, rubbing his sore nose and pouted at Ratchet. "You could've dropped me carefully. I'm like a delicate flower."

Ratchet let out a cough to cover up the laugh that almost came out. "Just get your tools and help me repair your idiot Uncle." He ignored Bulkhead's protest.

Sam stared mumbling under his breath and did as he is told. He grabbed his toolbox that he keeps near the TV and heads to where Bulkhead is sitting. He lights up the torch and starts working on the damaged area, while Ratchet works on the other side. While they work on the repairs, Bulkhead starts his report on the Energon signature and his fight against Breakdown.

"Engaging the enemy on your own was foolish, Bulkhead." Optimus gave a scolding tone.

"Breakdown jumped on me." He quickly defended himself. "I knew I could take him."

"Stay still." Ratchets tells him and went back with the repairs.

"So, how did you beat Breakdown?" Sam looked up at Bulkhead with those safety goggles that makes his eyes big and cute. "By the time I got there, Breakdown was long gone."

"Actually, about that." He looked at everyone with confusion. "I was under the impression you guys handled him. When I came to, Breakdown was just gone. But I do remember hearing a copter. Maybe it was Agent Fowler."

Right on cue, Fowler walks out the elevator, looking very serious. "Not me. But I have an idea who. Show me where this 'Con-napping occurred."

"Keep on working on repairing Bulkhead." Ratchet told Sam, which he responded with a thumbs up. "This doesn't mean you're out of the woods, boy. There is a matter of your punishment that I will tend to." Sam stared at Ratchet with wide eyes and open mouth. Ratchet typed in the coordinates and showed Fowler the location.

"The Kamchatka Peninsula in Eastern Russia." Fowler starts to explain. "Much of it was abandoned 20 years ago when its volcano first erupted. NEST intel reported MECH activity there earlier today."

Hearing the word MECH made Sam stop what he's doing and join in on the conversation. "You mean the ones we fought on the train?" Just thinking about them gives him a fantasy of killing every single member of the organization. He finds himself disgusted by the idea, but for some reason, it feels right to kill. He puts his focus on the conversation. "But what would they want with Breakdown? Surely they didn't invent him for a cup of tea."

"What's it matter? They can have him." Arcee said with a scoff.

"Yeah. Dragged off by humans. Guess I softened him up for them, huh?" Bulkhead looked at Sam, hoping to get some praise from him. But Sam wasn't paying attention to him. It looks at though he's in his own world. That really dampens his joyful mood.

"Ratchet, reactivate the previous GroundBridge coordinates. We will rescue Breakdown." Optimus declared.

"What?!" Ratchet stared in disbelief.

"Optimus, you can't be serious." Arcee interjected.

"MECH can melt him for all I care. Let the 'Cons rescue their own."

"It is unlikely that Megatron would bother with an errand of mercy."

"Okay. But this is Breakdown we're talking about." Arcee continues to object.

Optimus begins to spout out words of wisdom. "Sometimes we must rise above ourselves for the greater good."

Bulkhead let out a whine. "Oh, what's that supposed to mean?! Breakdown's gonna be grateful and go all soft and join the cause?"

"While it is unlikely that any Decepticon will choose the path of good, even they posses the potential for change."

"I knew where this was headed!" Bulkhead grumbled.

"By 'greater good,' I meant humankind." Optimus corrected. "MECH presents a clear and present danger."

"Prime's right, two-ton." Fowler piped in. "We know MECH is obsessed with obtaining groundbreaking technology."

"Which means we cannot allow Cybertronian biology to fall into their hands."

The other Autobots were reluctant about this rescue mission, but they still prepared themselves either way. Sam was quick to finish fixing Bulkhead up so he can join the mission. Even though Breakdown is the enemy, he doesn't deserve to die on a dissection table. MECH has gone too far this time. He will confront with their leader, and end this once and for all before they kidnap any more Decepticon or his Autobot family.

As he prepares to take his blade, he sees Bulkhead not moving from his spot, looking grumpy. "Bulkhead, why aren't you gearing up?"

"Because I'm not going."

"What do you mean you're not going?" Sam almost yelled. "Breakdown is in trouble. He could probably being made to scrap metal by MECH."

"Tell them scrap him for all I care. I am not going."

"Bulkhead." He hears Optimus call him.

Breakdown sighed, knowing he's gonna get an earful from Optimus. But he's gonna hold his ground and stick to his objection. "Optimus, I'm sorry. I just can't do it!"

"I support your choice."

"What!?" Both Sam and Bulkhead yelled in shock. They were clearly not expecting Optimus to agree.

"Given your history with Breakdown, your judgment may be clouded and thus jeopardize the mission. Besides, the Decepticon may be more in need of a medic than another warrior."

Ratchet joins with the others with his scanner at hand. "Locked and loaded, Optimus."

Sam was feeling a slight disappointed in Bulkhead for not being a part of the mission. He, on the other hand, is raring to go. "Optimus, I'm coming as well!" He yells out as he runs to the team.

"Out of the question." Ratchet quickly scoops up Sam and placed him back to his previous position.

"Ratchet, you guys need me to handle MECH." Sam attempts to make a run for it, but this time, Optimus got a hold of him.

"Sam, MECH will not hesitate to capture you. They know of our existence, and they will no doubt know about you. We can't afford to lose you." No one but Sam noticed a hint of fear in Optimus' voice. Sam had stopped resisting and allowed Optimus to place him on Bulkhead's shoulder. Optimus discreetly stroked Sam's cheek. "We know nothing of MECH. And if they capture you, it will not be easy to locate and rescue you."

"But you need a human to fight against MECH."

"If we need human assistance, we'll contact NEST base for backup. Not like we're gonna need it," replied Ratchet.

Sam looks down in defeat. He feels totally useless right now. This was his chance to actually fight alongside the Autobots. But instead, he has to take the backseat, as always. "Okay. Just be careful. If MECH even touches you guys, I'm getting involved, no matter what you say."

Optimus gave a hesitant nod. Sam will definitely put himself in danger, there is no question there. Not even he can stop Sam once his mind is made up. He hopes to Primus that will never happen.

"Autobots, roll out!"

Every single Autobots transformed in their vehicular mode and departed through the GroundBridge. Bulkhead looked on sadly. Normally he would be down for any kind of mission they give him. This time, he wants to stay back, all because of personal reasons. Oh well. At least he gets to spend time with Sam. He needs some cheering up.

"What do you say? Uh, Creature Double Feature?" He asked while making a funny gesture. Sam gave a short pause before agreeing.

For some reason, Sam sounded disappointed. Not because Optimus refused to let Sam join in on the mission. This disappointment is directed at someone. And it seems to hurt his spark for unknown reasons. Without saying a word, he started walking towards his room. Bulkhead and Fowler followed after him, the latter agreeing to join them to watch a movie.

An hour later, Fowler was sprawled on the couch, snoring very loudly. Sam is sitting up at his bedroom balcony with Bulkhead standing next to him, engrossed to the movie. He notices Sam not even paying attention to the movie.

"Dinolizard versus Five-Headed Ape. You're missing the smackdown."

Sam remained quiet before he let out a long sigh. "I'm disappointed in you, Bulk."

Bulkhead flinched. That painful feeling in his chest is returning. "What did I do?" He asked.

"I can't believe you refused to go on that mission to rescue Breakdown."

Bulkhead sighed tiredly. He sort of knew this would happen. "Sam, you don't understand. Breakdown and me, we go way back. You have no idea the things he's done. I'm not rescuing him, okay?"

"Bulkhead," Sam stood up and turned his back to him, "It doesn't matter what terrible things he's done. It is the right thing to do when someone is need of help. Breakdown is all alone out there. Megatron won't save him, so it's up to us Autobots to save him, and prevent MECH from learning of your biology. The longer he's out there with MECH, the more they'll learn on how to take you guys down."

"Imagine if you were in my shoes. If it was Megatron that MECH was dissecting, would you save him, even after everything he did to you?" Bulkhead retorted back. Hopefully that will make Sam see his way.

Sam remembered back to when Megatron captured him. He could never forgive Megatron for what he has done. But during the time, there was sadness and pain in those red glaring eyes every time Shockwave experimented on him. So even if Megatron is in trouble, saving him is the right thing to do. Because that's what Optimus would do.

"I would save him." He could see the shock on his face. "Because Megatron doesn't deserve to die at the hands of MECH. I'm not thinking about myself. I'm thinking about the world. MECH could terrorize every country on the planet with Cybertronian technology. I'm disappointed because you would rather stay here and do nothing, rather than save your rival. Because if he dies, you will never be a winner in my eyes."

"Huh?"

"Think about it." Sam moves closer to stare directly at his eye. "Breakdown whooped your aft. Therefore, he is the winner. If he dies, no rematch. No rematch, you'll forever live your life as a loser, and Breakdown will be laughing at you from the Well of All Spark. Can you live with the fact that Breakdown made you his bitch?"

Bulkhead stared in shock, eyes wide and mouth gaping. Never in his life has he ever imagined his sweet Sam say curse words. At him, no less. A small blush marked Sam's cheeks. "Sorry. Got that from Mikaela."

Of course. He knows about her colorful vocabulary. But thinking back to what Sam said earlier, it's true Breakdown beat him. And if he dies, he can't have a rematch and be a winner in Sam's eyes. With determination, he starts to leave Sam's room.

"Where you going?" Sam asked.

"I'm... going to save Breakdown." Bulkhead shuddered in disgust.

A smile appeared on Sam's face after quite a while during this whole argument. "Alright, Bulkhead! Let's get a move on!" Sam safely jumped down from his spot using his grappling hook, and rushed to join Bulkhead.

"Oh, no!" Bulkhead swooped up Sam and placed him back on his second floor bedroom. "You are staying here. It's way too dangerous."

Sam stomped his foot like a little child. "But, Bulk. You were suppose to be the cool 'Bot in the group. You got to let me go with."

"Nice try, kiddo. I may be cool, but I'm also responsible and strict when I need to be. Right now, I'm being a strict Uncle and telling you to stay put." He left the room in haste, and locked the door behind him.

Once he reached to the GroundBridge control, he activates it and transforms to his vehicle mode and drives through. He arrives at the last location he fought Breakdown and transforms back to his robot form. He takes a quick look around the area and found tracks.

"So, what's the plan?"

Bulkhead let out a startled yelp. Besides him was Sam scanning the area. "Sam! How did you get here?!"

"I have a secret tunnel that will lead me from my room to the GroundBridge driveway." He placed a finger over his lips and gave a playful wink.

Damn. His little Sammy is no longer innocent. He is becoming very sneaky. Looks like Bulkhead has no other choice but to take him on this mission. He transformed and opened his door. "Get in. I may have a lead on MECH."

Sam's scream of excitement was muffled as he got in. Bulkhead hopes Ratchet, Optimus, or Bee doesn't scrap his hide for getting Sam involved. Once Sam is in, they were on their way. On their way, they spotted a MECH vehicle entering in the rail tunnel. Sam got out to let Bulkhead transform back. Bulkhead took the lead with his blaster equipped, while Sam follows behind.

MECH has done a considerable to Breakdown as they drilled their way into his body frame. His right eye torn out and his chest plates exposed to the world. With metal bars welded around his hands, he is unable to do anything but to watch them tear him to pieces. His only eye focused on Silas arriving above the catwalk. Behind him were schematics of Breakdown's body.

"Enjoying the view?" Silas taunts. "Ironically, your would-be rescuers may be in more pieces than you right now."

"Decepticons don't break that easy!" Breakdown retorts.

"Who said they were Decepticons?"

"That doesn't makes sense. Autobots wouldn't come to rescue me."

There was a clanging sounds echoing in the tunnel. All personnels paused and looked at the direction the sound was coming from. The agent next to Silas switched to the security footage of the outer door. From there, they could see MECH soldiers rushing with their guns at hand to stop the intruder.

The door breaks open and Bulkhead charges at the soldiers with his wrecking ball. The MECH shoots back, but his whole body is immune to their bullets. Knowing this fight was one-sided, the soldiers ran away screaming in fear. As Bulkhead pummels his way through, Silas and his surgeons prepares to move out.

"More grist for the mill." In the of his eyes, he spots Sam catching up to Bulkhead. Seeing him brought a smile to his face. "So, my little Sammy has come home to me." He leaves to prepare his first confrontation with Sam after a long time.

Bulkhead arrives to the area where Breakdown was being detained. He has to admit, he doesn't really like what they did to Breakdown. Sam was right. He doesn't deserve this. Looking down, he could see Breakdown staring up at him.

"It must be your lucky day." He tells him.

Breakdown closed his eye, believing Bulkhead was here to kill him. He waited for his life to end and become one with the AllSpark. But all he felt were the cuffs being removed from his hands. "What are you doing?" Breakdown was surprised and confused with Bulkhead's action. He was expecting Bulkhead to take advantage and kill him.

"Getting you out of here." Bulkhead offered his hand to Breakdown. "Yeah, I don't believe it either. But you got him to thank for. He's the one who convinced me to save you." As Bulkhead helps Breakdown up, Breakdown could see the human next to Bulkhead's foot, waving back at him.

That earned him a laugh. "How cute. The Wrecker takes orders from a small fleshy." Before anyone can counter back, the base's alarm went off. They know more are on their way and they need to leave fast.

"Can you run?"

"Never run when you can fight." Breakdown replied, showing his hammer weapon.

Bulkhead looks annoyed as moved the hammer away from his face. "Just keep that thing pointed away from me, all right? Sam, I need you stay close to us and out of sight. I have a feeling we're gonna face a whole bunch of them."

But Sam wasn't paying attention. As the two were talking to each other, he felt someone staring at them from behind. When he did looked, there was man by the doorway, smiling down at him like a creep. Sam recognized him as the man in the helicopter back that tried to steal the DNGUS, Silas. When Silas disappeared, Sam launched his grappling hook on the railings to go after him.

"Sam, what are you doing?!"

"Sorry, Bulk. But I have my own mission to take care of." The hook pulled Sam to the doorway and he ran after Silas, leaving Breakdown and Bulkhead behind. "I'll see you outside!" He yells out, ignoring the cries from Bulkhead.

Sam continues to run down the hallway until he reaches to a darken room. The door behind him closes shut. He tries to find the exit, but his eyes haven't adjust to the darkness. He has no idea where he is, or if there are any traps lying around. If he were to find the exit blindly, it would probably cost him his life. He starts to walk very slowly, his blade out and ready to block any surprise attack.

"Hello, Sam."

Sam took a swing around him, but no hit. The voice sounded so close, it almost creeped him out. Lights starts to flicker on. And just in time, too, because he Silas is right in front of him. With his battle cry, he charges straight at Silas, and it irritates him that Silas is standing there smiling. And for the first time, the two clashed. His blade against Silas' knife.

But Sam noticed something was off. The two are pushing against each other, which it shouldn't happen. His blade is made out of the strongest material from Cybertron. His blade should've destroyed Silas' knife. What's going on?

"It's nice to finally meet you in person, Sam." Sam performed a backflip which hit Silas on the chin. Silas stumbles back, but he laughs instead of groaning in pain. "Excellent move, Sam."

"How do you know my name?" Sam blocks the incoming attack. It's strange. He learned all kinds of fighting styles, and the way Silas is performing, it's like they're having a fun sparring match. If he's not going in for the kill, he'll go for it instead.

This is the perfect time to use his newly whip blade. He goes in for the swing. To his surprise, Silas blocks his attack perfectly. Screw the whip, how about some hand-to-hand combat? He withdrew his blade and starts throwing punches. Silas put away his knife and grabbed Sam's fists.

"Oh, I know all about you, my boy. Especially your little secret."

"Oh, yeah?" Sam jumped on Silas' chest and pushed him, freeing from his hold. "So what? You gonna dissect me like what you did to Breakdown? Sorry, Silas, ain't gonna happen."

Silas laughed as he scratched his chest area. "Don't worry. I have already experimented on you on the day of your birth."

"What?!"

Silas took advantage of Sam's shocked expression by punching him hard in the gut and slamming him down to the ground, holding him in place. Sam tries to fight back, but the pain around his abdominal was painful. He is under Silas' mercy until the pain goes away.

Silas choose this moment to lean a bit closer to Sam and examine his eyes. They were blue instead of brown, which he frowns upon. "Your eyes. What happened? They were suppose to be brown."

"Yeah, so what? I happen to like my new eye color. It makes me feel closer to them."

Of course. The Autobots all have blue eyes. They shone just as bright in the dark, just like Sam. Sam may not have her eyes, but there are other parts that reminds him of her. He grabbed Sam's arms in one hand, while the other traces the curve of Sam's body. Silas closed his eyes and imagined her. He remembers how she felt like underneath him. The way Sam's body felt is an exact replica of hers. He may not have her eyes, but he makes up for it by having her body. Let's not forget about his face. His face is so smooth and soft, just like her.

"What are you doing?!"

Sam's scream snapped out of his trance. He was so caught up with the moment, that he almost believed Sam was her. He chuckled and placed his forehead against Sam's. "Sorry. It's just that you look exactly like your mother."

Sam's movement came to a sudden halt. "You knew my mother?" This cannot be. No one has ever come up to him with knowledge of ever meeting his parents personally. And yet, a bad guy not only knows about the Autobots and the Decepticons, he knows him and his mother.

"Yes, I knew her." He leaned down close to his ear, his lips brushing against it. "And I knew every inch of her body, too. Do you want to know my favorite parts of her body?" His free hand traveled to his crotch area. "Here." He moved his hand over to his breast and gave a squeeze to each one. "And here." His hand now rested on Sam's stomach. "This is my favorite. So big and beautiful. And I made sure you'll have one as well."

Sam really doesn't understand what Silas was saying right now. All he was feeling was grossed out by the way Silas was touching him. "And my father? Do you know him?"

"That depends. Do you know your father's name?"

"Yeah. His name is Ron Witwicky." Silas punched the floor near Sam's face. Sam could see the anger and hate in Silas when he said his dad's name. Just what connection did Silas has with his parents?

Silas took a deep breath and calmed his emotion. Then he laughed. "I must apologize for my behavior. Allow me to clarify. You see, your father is..." Silas was interrupted by a call from the outside. "What is it?"

"Sir, incoming bogeys."

Damn it, time's up. "All units, disengage and initiate Omega protocols." He was hoping he'll have time to tell him about his father. Oh, well. There's always a next time. "Sorry to cut this short, but it's time to take my leave."

Sam began to struggle. He has newfound questions about his parents. "Wait! Tell me about my parents!"

"A story for another time. Until then." Silas' lips pressed hard against Sam's. His tongue forced itself in. Sam started thrashing and screaming. He jumped off Sam and dropped a flash grenade, blinding Sam momentarily.

When Sam was able to open his eyes, there was no sign of Silas anywhere. He was long gone. Now he definitely needs to be involved in any missions involving MECH. He has a bunch of question that needs answering. So for now, he'll keep his meeting with Silas to himself, and that disgusting kiss. Something tells him Optimus would react very aggressive. Picking up his blade, he followed the exit sign that led him directly outside and into the Autobots. He was relieved Bulkhead made it out safely.

"Bulkhead!" He called out, getting the attention from everyone.

"Sam!" Bulkhead rushed to pick up Sam and spun him around. "Guess what! I got my rematch and kick Breakdown's tailpipe. I won!"

"Bulkhead, I'm proud of you." Sam wrapped his arms around Bulkhead's head.

The others looks on happily, except for Ratchet, who's coming up of a way to punish Sam for his foul language.

Somewhere in an unknown hideout, Silas is accompanied by two soldiers to a closed door. Silas has a huge smile as he remembers that kiss with Sam. He taste exactly like Judy. After typing in some codes, the door opens to a small facility. Inside this facility was a lone man reading schematics. This man wears a lab coat, his right arm is made of machine, and wears a mechanical helmet covering his head.

"Dr. Arkeville! The mad scientist who made all of this possible!"

"'Mad' suggest cognitive impairment. I'm more of a evil scientist. I trust you are here for the diagnostic scans." The doctor gave a wicked smile.

Silas nodded. "I'm sorry that the test subject escaped, but we've managed to sanitize the location and transfer most of the newly acquired data to this facility."

"The test subject is no longer important. There are more fishes in the pond for us to capture." The doctor revealed an image of Breakdown and Optimus' face on the monitor. "The diagnostic scans of the subject's vital components were thorough enough for us to initiate Project Chimera."

"That's wonderful news, Dr. Arkeville."

"Speaking of wonderful news." Arkeville pulled out a map with a red, blinking dot. "I have intercepted a open channel distress signal from one of those Transformers. This one is injured, according to this message. Which makes it much easier for us to capture and dissect."

"We'll get right on it." Silas left the doctor and his two guards to start working on their project, and preparing himself on this capture mission. "The power of the living machines will, someday soon, belong to MECH."
