How Taking Down Legacy Failed

I stirred awake hearing the sound of bashing. I rubbed my eyes and looked towards where the sound was coming from. I looked towards the window and slowly made my way towards it. I opened the curtains up to see the source of the sound. I looked down to see Cody and Ted by the car and snow surrounding them. I glared at them for waking me up before walking back to my bed. Then I realised… SNOW!! I shot back to the window.

"Snow ball fight?" Cody yelled up to my window.

"You're on!" I yelled back. "Wait, how did you know this was my window?" I asked them.

"Ted's already got yelled at 10 times" I shook my head and looked over at Ted who was wiping a fake tear from his eye.

"People can be so cruel sometimes" I laughed at him, closed the curtains and got ready. It had been a long time since it snowed so I was excited! I ran down to the lobby and outside to Ted's car where they were already making their snow balls. I walked over to stand next to Cody who was laughing.

"What is so funny?" I asked him.

"Ted was just telling me one of his stories" He replied, I looked at Ted with interested and pouted.

"I want to know too" I said sulkily.

"Ok, ok! Well I was talking to my mom earlier and she was telling me a story about when I was little. Apparently I was having a melt down in Borders and she was trying to calm me down. An employee came over and asked me what was wrong to which I replied 'YOU STAY OUT OF IT!' Little me had some rage issues" He told me smirking.

"Little Ted awww!" I said walking over to him and being the one to pinch his cheeks.

"Any of you guys want sandwiches?" Cody said bringing a basket onto the hood of the car. I raised a brow.

"Codykins, you do realise there is a café in the hotel?" I told him.

"I know that, but the food is so bad!" He replied. Ted stroked his chin.

"I know how to solve this!" Ted spoke up. We all looked at him.

"Go on" Cody said.

"Well, I have a 3 step plan. Step 1, Write a strongly worded letter. Step 2, have a sit in. Step 3, take hostages and deep fry one for every hour your demands aren't met" Ted explained. Me and Cody sent each other a look.

"You know Ted, that wasn't such a bad idea" I patted him on the back.

"Really?!" His lights lit up.

"No, not really" Cody told him joining in with the patting.

"So is it just us lot or is there anyone else com…" I was interrupted by the coldness touching my neck. I cringed my head back and turned around slowly to Randy grinning.

"You think your funny Orton?" I asked him glaring.

"I do indeed"

"You better watch yourself" I walked to Cody, I looked back at Randy and did the 'I'm watching you' to him. He just winked and stood by Ted. I lowered my head. Stupid blush. I looked up to see Randy smirking; I guess he had seen the blushing.

"See, she still hasn't gotten over my hotness" Ted said to Randy gesturing to me.

"Shut up" I said and threw a snow ball at his face. He ducked and grinned.

"Missed me" Only for me to get him a second time.

"Your going down James, look at all these snow balls I made" I looked down to see he had made piles of them. "My jims will take you down"

"He named the snow balls didn't he?" I asked Cody who nodded. I looked back over at Ted. "Well me and Cody are going on a team and we are going to take you suckers down!" Me and Cody high fived.

"Yeah well, me and Randy are on a team and Melina is coming today so that makes 3 against 2!" Ted and Randy then high fived.

"My coolness counts for two people" I told them poking my tongue out at them.

"We shall see about that" Ted replied making more snow balls. "No firing until Melina gets here" Cody then poked me, I looked over at him, he held a big snow ball, he put his finger over his lips and gestured to the snow balls on Ted's car. I grinned and nodded. Ted was concentrating hard on making his snow balls perfect and did not see Cody trying to get his aim right. Cody lunged the snow balls into Ted's and some splattered and some fell to the floor.

"JIM!!!" Ted screamed trying to pick all the snow balls up and re-making them. Cody lunged another one destroying the remaining snow balls. "STOP IT YOU MONSTERS" He cried. Ted's face darkened as he picked up pieces of his snow balls.

"That is IT! GET THEM!" Ted and Randy both charged towards us. Using our snow balls to destroy theirs we were un armed and both ran in different directions.

"I thought we were waiting for Melina!" I yelled at Randy who was chasing me. He had picked up snow on the way, I was too busy trying to get away to gather snow up for myself.

"Things change!" He yelled back. I went to get some snow car, but I was too late, I felt an arm wrap around my waist, I was pulled against Randy's chest, I let out a deep breath. For a moment, we just stood there, starring. My head was shouting that I should just kiss him and get it over with, but I couldn't even move. I swear he may have been thinking the same thing as I'm not sure if it's my imagination, but is he leaning down to me? I waited to see what happened, but…

"Hey guys!" I closed my eyes and turned to see Melina. Bad timing. I ran towards her, Randy was chased after me.

"DON'T SHOOT!" Melina screamed out trying to get away even though Randy was on her own team. I grabbed Melina and hid behind her knowing Randy wouldn't get her and she was on his team. I grinned at him.

"What you going to do now Orton?"

"Me? Well I'm not going to do nothing" He replied smirking. Why was he smirking?! This was not the time for smirking! He can't get me so why is he… I suddenly felt myself being lifted off the ground. I turned my head to see Ted.

"Theodore, unless you want me to rip your head off you will put me down" I threatened calmly.

"You are in no position to make threats bab--" He looked over at Melina. "Mickie"

"This is sexual harassment!" I called out, Randy got closer to me with the snow ball. There was no way I was letting him put that in my face! "I will have you locked up for this Dibiase!! Let's see how many years you'll get!" I struggled to get him to release me. "CODY!" I screamed, where the hell was he.

"Cody cannot save you now! He is in a better place" Ted told me. I gasped.

"What have you done to him you animal?"

"Let's just say I have a good attorney to get me off" Ted teased, this was unfair! 3 against 1! It was Cody who threw the snow ball! I am completely innocent!

"No you will not, such a foul face does not deserve representation!" I squealed. Ted pulled me tighter. "I'll sit on you" I told him. I then looked at Randy and tried to do my cutest face. "I always liked you!"

"Do it Randy!" Randy smirked like he was going to enjoy this. I closed my eyes; there was only one thing left to try. I swung my leg back and just as I thought, I was released. Randy faces cringed up; I turned to Ted who was lying down in the snow holding what was left of his manly pride.

"I can't believe you did that!" Cody said coming up behind me with a hand over his mouth laughing.

"He harassed me! I harassed him! It was self-defence!" I said putting my hands up. "Where have you been?" I poked Cody.

"I was…" He stopped and looked over my shoulder. I turned around slowly to see Ted was up and ready for revenge.

"He looks err kind of angry Cody" I said as we both backed away.

"Ted I would like to point out it was Mickie who did that!" My eyes widened, I turned to Cody and I hit him. So much for team!

"I think we should run" I told Cody.

"I agree"

"When I give the signal we run"

"What is the signal?" He asked.

"You will know when you hear it" I said, he nodded. Randy, Melina and Ted stood side by side with me and Cody backing away slowly. I took a deep breath. "FOR NARNIA!" I screamed and started to run. I ran when I realise Cody wasn't with me. I ran back and grabbed his arm. "That was the bloody signal!"

"Oh shit! Yeah!" He then joined me in our attempt to run away. I held onto Cody's arm until I sleep on the snow. I fell to the floor with a thud. Cody stopped and went to help me up, but it was too slippery. "Go on without me" I said dramatically.

"Ok" He said quickly before running away.

"I DIDN'T MEAN IT!" I yelled after him, I turned on my back to see Randy standing above me.

"Well well well" He said smugly.

"Well well well your face"

"That didn't make sense" He tutted.

"I'm too cold to make sense! Where is Cody?" I demanded to know. He pointed in the other direction. I saw Ted doing the walls of Jericho on Cody.

"Who's snowballs were they?!" Ted screamed at Cody, Cody was squeezing his eyes shut in pain.

"YOURS!"

"And who is my bitch!?"

"NOT ME!"

"WHO LIKES TO DO THE CHA CHA LIKE A SISSY GIRL"

"EVEN BAXSTER"

"WRONG ANSWER" Ted screamed pulling harder on his legs. "CODY RHODES LIKES TO DO THE CHA CHA LIKE A SISSY GIRL!"

"I love those guys" I said to Randy. He chuckled.

"What are they doing?"

"Last night we watched Bruce Almighty" I informed him, his mouth made an O shape. "So how about you just let me off with a little warning?" I asked Randy.

"I don't think so" He grinned.

"C'monnnnnn"

"No"

"C'monnnn" I repeated.

"No"

"C'monnnn"

"Fine" He reached out his hand to help me up. I pretended to accept before pulling him down with me. This did not go according to plan; he fell on top of me. My eyes automatically looked down at his lips before returning back to look him dead in the eye. Neither of us said anything. His hands slipped down to my waist and held me steadily against him. I wrapped my hands around his neck so my back wouldn't touch the ground. He slowly leaned down; I arched my body to get closer to him. We were inches apart until a scream echoed throughout our ears. We broke apart immediately. We looked over to see Ted trying to get the snow out of his eyes. We rushed over.

"What happened?" We both asked in union.

"I warned him" Cody told us smirking.

"You bastard!! First I loose my balls now my eye sight!" Ted cried.

"He lost his what?!" Melina said as her eyes widened.

"Snow ball" I chuckled reassuring her.

Sam's P.O.V

Flashback

"Told you what silly? What do you mean when was I going to tell you? I have done anything at all" I panicked, did he know?

"Did you honestly think I wouldn't find out?" He snapped.

"Find out what? Baby I'm on the way back, we can talk about this"

"What is there to talk about you? I asked you straight up about this and you lied to my face"

"I didn't lie to you baby… I really did go…"

"Save it Sam" He snapped. "You knew I wanted Mickie to be there and you…"

"Wait what?" I asked him confused.

"Don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about she told me Sam about you telling her she is not welcome at our wedding" My heart beat went down. I thought he knew about John.

"It happened ages ago baby and I tried to make it right but she wouldn't listen to me" I lied.

I watched out the window as he was involved in a snow ball fight with her. I wouldn't allow it.

Mickie's P.O.V

"IT'S THE ABOMINABLE SNOW MAN!" I got up and ran behind Ted. Randy jogged up to us.

"Where?!" He then saw Sam. "Oh"

"I will save you!" Ted announced he scooped up snow and chucked it at Sam. It hit her right in the face. "Who has potential now!" He whispered to me. Melina came up behind, Ted put his arm around her. She sent him a small smile.

Sam charged at Ted, but Randy held her back. "Think of the baby" He whispered to her. My smile dropped. Nearly a whole day and that was not brought up, so close. I know I was going to have to face it, but he still sucked hearing it. She whispered something to him.

"I have to go guys, I will catch up with you later" He told us, I felt disappointed that he was living.

"Let's go to the café" I told Cody.

"But I made sandwiches" Cody whined.

"I will try a sandwich with my coffee ok?" I told him, he nodded his head like a small child. I took his arm and dragged him into the hotel.

"We'll be in a bit" Melina called out to us. I guess she wanted to have some alone couple time with Ted.

Me, Cody and Ashley sat in the café drinking coffee, Ashley had just arrived, we were waiting for Ted and Melina. After a bit, we saw Ted walk in, but not Melina. He saw us, but went towards the elevator. He looked upset?

"Hey guys, I will be right back" I told Cody and Ashley they nodded and continued there discussion. I jogged to catch Ted, I walked inside the elevator.

"Ted?"

"Hmm" Was his reply. Something was definitely up. I had never seen him like this.

"What's wrong? What's happened? Where is Melina?" I questioned him. He shrugged; I took hold of his arm.

"She decided she didn't want to go out with a gorgeous guy like me" He chuckled sadly. He looked up as if not to cry. She broke up with him? Why? I shook my head and just hugged him.
