How Taking Down Legacy Failed

It had been tense between me and John all week. I don't understand why he doesn't just end it, I know why I won't, but why won't he? I was so glad I had Ted and Cody or I would be alone and miserable. I mean, Melina turned out to be such a great friend didn't she? I was going to face her at Wrestlemania and get her for hurting Ted. I still couldn't get my head over the fact she chose Drew over Ted. And like an hour before she broke up with Ted, she seemed fine, it's like she just suddenly made up her mind then. I was sitting with John in his locker room watching Raw. There was a match which would divide my loyalties. It was John and Kofi versus Cody and Ted after what happened last week, John wanted to get his hands on both them, but he also wanted to get Randy too.

John sat with his arm around my waist and we watched the match between Sheamus versus Evan Bourne. I wanted to go watch it with Ted and Cody since we are all big fans of Sheamus! But John made me stay and watch it with him. He says that we don't spend enough time together.

I watched as Randy made his way towards ring side, I felt John's hand tighten around my waist and bring me closer. Randy looked so scary and evil in the ring, he was only like that around me when he got mad and boy was he scaring! But I remember I never used to back down, even though he used to scare the fuck out of me! Sheamus won the back, Randy got in the ring and the two of them just starred at each other. The fans were actually cheering for Randy, they were chanting his name, which surprised me, it surprised John to by the look on his face. I haven't heard the fans cheer for Randy in years. I wonder how he is feeling about this.

John asked me to come down to the ring with him again, I accepted because it was Ted and Cody's match and we always messed around by pretending to be enemies. It was long until their match.

I walked down with John and I smiled when I heard legacy's music plan. I watched as Ted and Cody walked down the ramp, they got in the ring, I grabbed John's arm and put it around my stomach.

"Hold me back, hold me back!" I yelled and made it look like I was trying to attack Ted. Ted did the same thing and made Cody hold him back.

"Stop it" John whispered harshly in my ear. "I didn't bring you down here to make a fool of me" I 'accidentally' stepped on his foot. I then did the 'I got my eye on you thing' to Ted before getting out of the ring. I watched as Cody and John started it off. It was weird watching my best friend and my boyfriend fight. It wasn't long until Cody tags Ted in after a lock up with John. I saw John send me a smug smile before attacking Ted.

John takes charge in the match, so as soon as Ted got the chance he tagged Cody back in. Cody takes charge in the match and when the referee turned his back, Ted took advantage and started punching John. I ran over to Ted and when he stopped me and him went nose to nose playing up the crowd that we were enemies.

"I've taken Senior Cuddles hostage, I thought I might let you know" I said to Ted as we were nose to nose, I made sure the crowd thought I was talking badly of him.

"You uncivil lady! Senior Cuddles has done nothing to you! Take me instead!" I tried not to laugh, I walked away glaring at him. "Til we meet again Lady Theodore" I walked over to the other side to watch the match, Ted went back up on the apron. Throughout the match, Cody and Ted kept switching the tags. John finally tagged Cody in and limps over to me to recover. I reached out my hand to pull him up, but he pulled me down with him. Then he used me to help himself out, c'mon crowd see him! This is not the actions of a gentlemen!

John after recovering got back onto the apron and was desperate for the tag; however Cody knocks John off the apron which made me laugh. John gave me a very dirty look. "Assholes" he muttered to me, I shot him a dirty look back. When John finally got tagged in, he went crazy on Cody.

"You stay the hell away from her" He yelled at him, Whoa, Whoa, whoa, how many times do I have to explain to him that he can't make me or them do that.

John went for the FU on Cody, he reserves the first time, but John connects the second, he goes for the pin, but Ted breaks it up. Kofi climb up to the turn buckle and connects him move on Cody. Kofi goes for the pin; Ted tries to break it up again. John rushes into the ring, stops Ted from breaking up the pin. Dammit John. Kofi and John won, which I didn't want despite the fact, I should be cheering on my boyfriend. John grabbed my wrist and led me up the ramp; I looked over my shoulder at Ted and Cody. Ted was going to help Cody up, but Cody pushes him away harshly and leaves Ted in the ring, as confused as I am.

I waited for Ted backstage, Cody went past me first, but he just kept walking and completely ignored me. I wonder what's happened there. Ted soon appeared, I hugged him. "What happened there?" I asked.

"I have no idea, time of the month maybe!" He replied laughing.

"That's the only explanation! It reminds me of old times when he used to see me and then storm off!" We put our heads together as if we were having some flashback.

"C'mon, let's go watch the rest of Raw and hope Cody calms down by then!" Ted said linking arms with me.

"In your match, you were robbed!" I told him.

"I know right! It's because you took my mascot away from me! If Senior Cuddles isn't returned, there will be hell to pay Lady Michaela"

"Lady Theodore, that isn't a lady like thing to say"

"My apologises Lady Michaela" He grinned. "Have you noticed that we are really weird?" He said to me laughing. I laughed too.

"Us weird? No way!" I replied sarcastically.

"Maybe that's why Cody left us!" Ted said fake crying. We entered his locker room, no sign of Cody; we just sat down and watched Raw. We started talking about when we were younger.

"How did you get your first date Theodore?" I asked him, there were adverts on, so me and Ted were asking each other questions. The next match on was Randy versus Chris Masters.

"Well baby, as hard as it for you to believe, I wasn't always quite the ladies man" Ted said whilst posing.

"No" I faked gasped.

"I know, I know, shocking right!" I gave him a look, he pouted.

"So how did you get it?"

"I got it for my humour! I was walking home from my grandma's house and I saw this girl slip over a mushy apple someone had left on the road, I walked behind her and instead of asking her she was ok, I yelled at the apple 'YOUR NOT A BANANA PEEL! YOU'LL NEVER BE A BANANA PEEL!! Needless to say, I had a date that Wednesday!" I love Ted's stories!

"That would have won me over!" I told him.

"What can I say, I'm quite the charmer! Your turn! What happened on your first break up?"

"Well, I broke up with a boyfriend of just short of a year, I cried for a long-time and then my dad reminded me that he used to give me weird looks when I would roar while eating my dinosaur chicken nuggets and a guy like that isn't worth it, I stopped crying" Ted gasped.

"He certainly wasn't worth it then! I mean, who doesn't do that!"

"I know! Pig! I still need to test John on that" I replied. "Ask another one, I can't think of one for you"

"Who was your hero as a child?" He asked me. I thought for a moment.

"The cookie monster" Ted gasped at my response.

"No way! Me too! Nom Nom Nom Nom Nom Nom Nom Nom Nom Nom Nom Nom Nom Nom Nom Nom Nom Nom Nom"

"There is no need for that kind of language! This is a PG show!" I said while shaking my finger at him.

"Oh! I have something to show you" Ted said digging into his bag. He pulled out a shirt that said 'Come to the dark side. We have cookies' "How cool is that!"

"Oh…" I paused; he gave me a look of confusion. "Well, this is awkward" I said, I pulled out a shirt I had recently brought that said 'Welcome to the dark side. Are you surprised we lied about having cookies?'

"This isn't going to work baby! We can't both go away wearing this! It's like two people going to a party to see they are wearing the same dress!" Ted whined. "I am going to write a strongly worded letter"

"You always write strongly worded letters" I pointed out.

"Name one time" He frowned.

"When your pocket dictionary did not fit into your pocket" I told him, pulling a face.

"Oh yeah" He smiled. "Good times"Once the advert was over, Raw started back up again, Randy was already in the ring, he looked extra moody today, I didn't think that was possible! Chris Master's music played and he came down with Eve. Were they together?! Lucky bitch! During the match, Sheamus came down to watch which earned a standing ovation from me and Ted. "We haven't seen our buddy in ages!" Ted turned to me.

"I know! We should go see him soon!" I replied. That was settled then! I turned back to the TV to see that Chris had Randy in the master lock. I thought Randy was about to go unconscious when he suddenly lands a surprise RKO on him. Did not see that coming! Sheamus then attacked Randy with a kick to the skull, me and Ted both winced at seeing this.

"Better go see if he's alright" Ted said getting up. He reached his hand to help me up. "Come on monkey" I accepted his help. Sam was there waiting for Randy also. Sheamus came out from behind the certain; Sam sent him a flirtatious smile, what the hell!? This guy had just punted her fiancé and she is winking! Outrageous! Sheamus then turned to me.

"Alright darling?" He said to me, I nodded quickly; Ted was standing there, with a facial expression like he was holding in a girlish scream. "How come you're not wearing your t-shirt?"

"I um…" I tried to think of an excuse.

"Because she wore it to bed last night!" Ted said, I shot him a look. Sheamus smirked.

"Oh really? And what were you doing whilst wearing it?" He said seductively.

"Ted was wearing it too!" I blurted out, Ted looked at me shocked. Sheamus gave him an odd look before walking away. Randy then appeared from the curtains, he was getting help from the referee. Sam ran over to him.

"Baby! Are you ok?" She asked, checking him over.

"I'm fine, I just need to rest" He told, he limped past me and Ted, we made eye contact for a moment. Awkward.

Me and Ted stayed by the curtains to watch the rest of Raw. All that happened next was John came down, interrupting DX, he makes it clear he is going to enter the Royal Rumble and win it, Big Show then budges past us to go down to the ring to make it clear that he is going to win it. All hell breaks loose and that's when me and Ted get bored and went to go see if Randy was ok. We walked in as Sam was given him a massage.

"Look, I'm fine, sit down and rest for the baby's sake" Randy told her. I keep forgetting, even though she looks like a whale, that she is pregnant with Randy's baby. I always feel there is hope until I hear that.

"Hey guys" Randy said to us as we walked in.

"Hey" We replied.

"How is you're…" I went to ask him, but was cut off by Sam's screech.

"Randy! The baby's kicking!" She squealed, she grabbed Randy's hand and placed it on her belly. He smiled.

"Oh my god!" He said laughing, keeping his hand on her belly. They looked like a proper family and it killed me. He looked happy, I always say in my head, he never looks happy with her, there's a chance, there's a chance, but I've never seen him happier then he is right now. I tried to be happy for him, but I just wanted to get the hell out of there. How was I going to be when they were married? How was I going to be when this baby was born?

"I better go see John" I told them before leaving, I heard their laughter from outside. I shook my tears and looked up trying hard not to cry. A constant reminder about how me and him can never be how we were once were.
