How Taking Down Legacy Failed

"Can't you drive any faster?" I asked Ted, we were running late for Wrestlemania, not a good start for the day. Someone, aka Ted spent too long looked in the bloody mirror!

"No, baby, I cannot" Ted replied trying to keep his eyes on the road.

"I knew I should have gone to the arena with Cody!" I sulked; Ted didn't turn to me, but stuck his tongue out. I then heard sirens.

"Ah great" Ted muttered, we pulled over. He pulled down the window ready for the cop. He came up to Ted and pulled his sun glasses off. He opened his mouth and then closed as it looked like he realised something. Maybe he is a wrestling fan and will let us off!

"Do I know you from somewhere?" He asked Ted.

"Yes! We went to college together" Ted replied grinning, what a coincidence, the cop that pulls us over went to the same college as Ted! They started going on about college and then the cop let us go! That was lucky. Ted then started up his engine, before laughing evilly.

"What's with the evil laugh?" I asked him.

"We never want to college together" He said evilly. Oh Theodore.

"How long till we get there?" I whined.

"Not long baby, not long at all" I was nervous. Tonight was a Triple threat match, Randy versus Ted versus Cody and this time Ted and Cody would not be on the same team. I have a bad feeling this will blow up in their faces. I don't want Ted and Cody to not be friends and I can't shake the feeling that by the end of the night, that is how they will be.

We walked into the arena at last. "Where have you guys been?" Cody asked, I glared at Ted.

"Blame Mr hot stuff here" I replied.

"She just thinks I'm hot" Ted smirked kissing my cheek. I grumbled. "It's ok, you're only human"

"Hey Mickie" John said coming towards us, completely ignoring Cody and Ted.

"John" I nodded at him and walked past him.

He had a match too tonight, I had one too, against Melina, things had kind of calmed down between me and her so it wasn't going to be as personal as I thought it would be. John was going against Batista for the WWE title.

Later on that night

There was a team diva match, but neither me and Melina were involved in that, we had our own match to do. There were times when I had the advantage and there were times when Melina had the advantage, but let's just say the best woman won!

I went back to the locker room after winning my match, the match between Randy, Ted and Cody was on straight after mine so I didn't have a chance to wish them good luck. I practically ran back to the locker room so I wouldn't miss any of their matches.

I got to the locker room just as the three were squaring off. Throughout most of the match, it was like a handicap match. Cody and Ted teamed up to beat down Randy, but I expected that to happen, I just didn't want Ted and Cody to turn against each other, but it was Wrestlemania, both of them would want to get the pin. It was every man for himself. It wasn't long before Ted and Cody started to argue over who would get the pin. I felt like screaming at the TV, they were wasting time! Randy was starting to recover and before they even knew it, Randy had taken advantage. He was hyped up and took down each of them. Randy delivered a double-elevated DDT and then he punted Cody and RKO'd Ted, pinning him for the win.

Were Cody and Ted going to be ok with each other? I don't know, but I was going to go look for them.

John's P.O.V

I don't get it, I really thought she would of come crawling back by now. I even showed her how much I cared by protecting her from Orton, she is so ungrateful! I was loosing the bet with Melina as well, this sucks.

"I told you this would happen" Melina commented, I turned to glare at her, I wasn't in the mood.

"She is just playing hard to get" I grumbled. She chuckled at me.

"You and I both know that is not true, she doesn't want you John, just face it"

"Of course she wants me, why wouldn't she?" Melina raised her brows at me, she knows it, I know it, Mickie wants me, why was she saying all this stuff.

"Haven't you considered, you know.." She paused.

"You know what?" I asked her curiously, did she know something I did not? She didn't respond.

"You know that there could be someone else?" I scoffed at her, she didn't laugh.

"Oh your being serious" I stopped laughing and scratched the back of my head. "Another guy? Like who?"

"Anyone, just in general"

"No, I don't think so, unless Ted…I did see them kiss the other day, Oh my god, it's Ted" I growled. "I'm going to kill that son of a bitch, I always knew that something was there, the way he looks at her, I can't believe I didn't.."

"No, not Ted" Melina interrupted me. "They are just friends, believe me, I used to be friends with both of them, that's all they are"

"Then who could it be" There was no one, I mean, Cody was with Ashley and he wouldn't cheat, so…

"There is something I have to tell you" Melina said, I looked at her, did she know?

Melina P.O.V

I decided to tell him, he was getting on my nerves with his arrogance, could he not understand that not every girl was in love with him? This should shrink his ego.

"Randy" I said simply.

"Randy?" John questioned disgusted. "She is in love with Randy?" I nodded. "Randy Orton?" I once again nodded, he got up and paced. "I saw them together, but I just thought he was harassing her" I just shook my head. "I don't understand, she hates him?"

"Well clearly, she doesn't"

"So that time I found them together, he was rejected her?" He asked me, I chuckled, he is so naïve.

"Probably not" I responded.

"What do you mean 'probably not'?" He asked mocking me.

"I mean, he wants her as bad as she wants him" I said blowing on my nails as if what I was telling him was old news.

"But, he is married" I gave him a daft look. "Does Sam know?" I gave him another stupid look.

"No, Sam doesn't know" He sat down and covered his face with his hands.

"Her and Orton" He kept muttering. "How did I miss that?" I leaned back in my chair waiting him to get over this. "Wait, when me and her were dating, was he and her…"

"I don't know, maybe"

"That bitch" John growled punching the wall, I jumped up. "She tried to make me feeling fucking guilty when all the time she was" He punched the wall again. "When I get my hands on her I'm going to…" He stopped and looked at me, I raised my brow looking amused.

"Hey, I'm pretty sure you cheated on her more" He glared at me. "Bloody hell, you did it with her sister" I pointed out, he still glared at me as if I was in the wrong.

"She did it with my enemy" He snarled at me. "No one cheats on me, she is going to regret it"

"Oh what are you going to do about it?" I laughed at him, he looked at me serious. "You will see" Was the last thing he said before he left.

Mickie's P.O.V

I saw Ted, he didn't look ok at all, this was his chance to prove everyone wrong, that he could fight and win. I went over him and hugged him. "Mickie, there is something I need to tell you" He said, I knew it was going to be bad, the way he was looking at me, I was scared to know what he had to say.

"What?" I asked. He took a deep breath.

"Randy left" He said, I looked at him puzzled.

"What do I care?" I scoffed. "I hate him" Ted took my hands.

"Baby, I'm not stupid, I know your not over him" I starred at him, how did I think I could pass that I was over him off? I hope he doesn't hate me. "And it's ok, you don't need to pretend your over him just because me and him are like this" I felt relieved, but it didn't change anything, me and Randy still couldn't be together.

"Thanks Ted, that means a lot" I think it's time I told him about him what's been going on with Randy. So I did. I told him everything, he listened and didn't interrupt. It felt nice to get it all out, for weeks I had been holding it and it had all been building up. I hated lying to Ted, I'm so glad I can finally tell him. I even told him how me and Randy had slept together after the wedding.

"Wow, looks like you have been busy" He teased, I gave him a small smile and shrugged.

"I have something to confess too" He told me, I looked at him. "I slept with Melina"

"Yeah, I think I knew that, I mean you did date for.." He interrupted.

"I mean, after the break up"

"Oh" I said. Did not expect that. I thought he was over her. "Why didn't you tell me?" I asked him.

"Same reason you didn't tell me about Randy" He replied, oh touché.

"From now on, when something happens, we tell each other, no matter how shameful, deal?" I held out my pinky.

"Deal" Ted said linking my pinky with his. "Which brings me to what I had to tell you, the reason why Randy left" I narrowed my brows at him. "Sam's water broke" He told me. I felt this tight feeling in my chest, I lost my breath for a second.

"She is in labour?" He nodded. I knew it was going to happen, but it actually happening is two different things.

"Any news?" I asked him. He shook his head.

"I heard it off of someone else, me and Randy aren't exactly speaking so I can't really asking him" I nodded understandingly.

In the trailer, there may be stuff you don't recognise, for example, new character Becky Orton, that is because she is coming later in the story!
