A/N: another one shot! I might make it a two shot, but for now, this is all I can promise.

Warning: There's a lot of info weed in here. I was watching that new Netflix show 'Explained' and got inspired by their weed episode and then I remembered Clear passages and, well voilà. I know in America, weed is a bit of a touchy subject, so don't read it if you don't want to, but seeing as I'm from the Netherlands and we're mostly pretty chill about that stuff, I see no problem with it.

That being said, I am not here to endorse the use of weed or drugs. I think everyone should do what they feel most comfortable with. However, I do think you should always educate yourself before you make a decision. Be smart about it and be safe. Don't do it just because your friends do it if you don't want to. Everybody responds to drugs differently so be sure not to use too much. Personally, I don't like it, because it doesn't affect me in any nice way at all. Also, I don't recommending weed with alcohol. Stick to one poison at a time ;)

Stay true to your own compass folks, don't let other people set you off course.

BANANORAMA

"What are you looking for? Do you prefer a happy high or a mellow high?"

Allie giggled at the question. She knew she was coming across exactly as pure and innocent as she was and she scolded herself for not keeping cool in front of the cute guy helping her in her search for pot.

Despite being 25, Allie knew she was the naïve, innocent, good girl next-door type. She was sweet and caring, always taking up jobs as a baby sitter for families throughout Charming. Of course she had occasionally gotten drunk with friends whilst underage, but they had never gotten caught.

She was the type of girl who liked school and who usually finished her homework. She didn't cross the road until the light turned green and she always considered how she could help other people before she would think of herself.

And yet, here she was, at Clear Passages, the local colon cleaner slash prime weed vendor. Since she had no bowel problems there was only one thing she was after today. Grade A skunk. Or whatever the correct current term for weed was these days.

"Ehm, I'm not sure, I was hoping you could help me out." Allie said nervously. God, what was she doing here? She hated Charlie for putting her in charge of drugs. Of all the tasks he could have given her, he gave her the one she was most uncomfortable with.

The guy helping her seemed to be aware of her discomfort and sent her a large, warm smile. It made him look really attractive and Allie immediately started to blush. She hated how dorky she was sometimes.

Seeming choosing to ignore her flushed face, the guy kept smiling warmly. "That's what I'm here for. My name is Juice and I can hook you up all your smokey needs. We serve almost all orifices." He chuckled at his own joke and Allie giggled again.

It was a terrible joke and the word 'orifice' had always sounded gross to Allie, but his own enthusiasm rubbed off on Allie and she relaxed a little. His brown eyes were kind and didn't judge her, which she silently thanked him for. She was pretty sure not everyone in Charming would be as understanding, but then again, he was the only weed vendor in town. Him judging her would have been awfully hypocritical.

"Hi, my name's Allie," she said with a small smile. "My friends are throwing a party tonight out back where they plan to build Charming Heights. Something like a last hoorah if you will. There's gonna be a lot of alcohol involved, so maybe something not too strong? I did a little research online and I think it's best if you have anything that doesn't have too high a THC value. I want people to feel good, but I read that too much THC can cause hallucinations and terrors. That's not the type of crazy we're looking for." It was Allie's turn to chuckle at her own joke, silently hoping he wouldn't pick up on her nerdy side, which had made her spent 3 hours looking online to find more information about weed.

Juice let out a small laugh with her and nodded in understanding, appreciating the fact that she had done a little research before coming to his shop. It wasn't often that customers came into his shop for the first time prepared with information and his own inner nerd did a little happy dance at the pretty girl in front of him, who not only seemed to be sweet but also smart.

Usually when he got first timers in the shop, they were college kids on break or rich folk looking for a distraction from their boring lives. Both categories were under informed and overly flush with cash, making them easy targets for overpriced weed. However, she seemed to be neither and he liked that a lot. It wasn't often that he could share his wealth of knowledge about weed with a pretty girl, so he was happy to impress.

"Well, first of, in a formal capacity, I cannot in good conscience recommend mixing weed and alcohol, Allie. However," Juice grinned, "if you're going to do that you'll definitely want to go for a more happy high. Alcohol is a downer, so if you add a downer spliff, the party will end up totally lame. Now you've probably been reading stuff about Indica and Sativa, right?"

Allie nodded at him. She had read about that indeed, glad that this Juice guy seemed to know what he was talking about. Juice continued. "That's all pretty much bullshit. We've been cross breeding weed for so long now without any form of official record keeping that almost all weed is a mixture between both. Like you said, you'll really want to watch for THC levels and CBD levels."

Juice's inner nerd was really starting to come out and he was trying to reel him back in, but seeing Allie, who seemed genuinely interested in what he was saying, Juice figured he should just roll with it.

"THC is the psychoactive part of the bud, CBD the relaxant. Since their levels are connected, a higher TBC percentage will automatically mean a lower CBD level. It's the THC that will make people freak out, so I recommend buying something with a maximum of 10% TBC ratio."

Allie looked at Juice's excited face. He really took his job working here seriously, but he also seemed to enjoy it a lot. There was a sparkle in his eye and his gestures and body language were enthusiastic. He looks really cute, Allie thought. He was definitely a little nerdy and she liked that a lot. Good looks were nice enough, but she often found pretty people boring if they didn't have a brain in their head or lacked an interest in the world around them. That was probably one of the reasons she didn't have a boyfriend. Charming wasn't necessarily breeding ground for intellectual debate.

Allie nodded at Juices story, hearing what he said. "OK, that makes sense. I definitely don't people ending up at the hospital with a psychosomatic break."

The fact that Juice was impressed with her knowledge of that term must have shown on his face, because Allie continued with a small, smug, grin on her face. "Yeah, I looked up what that meant. I came across it when I was looking into the risks of weed. Those side effects can really fuck you up if you're not careful."

She had to admit, she was secretly pretty happy with herself that she had managed to surprise him with her knowledge. She didn't often get to impress people with her use of big words. Most of her friends just rolled their eyes at her and her parents mostly told her to speak American like a normal person, so Juice's positive attitude towards her was a nice change of pace and she would enjoy it while it lasted.

"Good to know you know what you're getting everybody into. I can see why they sent you to come pick up the goods. You don't even want to know how often I get people in here just looking for a quick high." Juice said appreciatively, making Allie blush again as she cast her eyes down in embarrassment.

When Allie had gotten control of herself again, she looked up and looked Juice straight in the eye again. Quite unexpectedly, she felt herself get giddy at the sight of him. He was adorable, looking at her with those cute eyes and seemingly genuinely happy to be talking to her.

"OK, so what do you recommend?" She asked, fumbling a bit with her fingers nervously.

Juice took a step forward and lightly touched the back of her left elbow with his right hand, while stretching his left hand in front and to the left of him, to signal he wanted to walk with her to the wall behind her. He noticed the surprised look on her face and their hand and elbow softly touched. She was blushing again and he couldn't help but think she looked damn cute.

In three steps they made their way to the wall and he dropped his right hand again while taking one step to remove himself from her personal space.

Almost disappointed at the lack of closeness they had so briefly enjoyed, Allie decided to ignore that feeling and look up to the was Juice had lead her.

"This is where I'm keeping the lighter stuff." He said. "Now, I don't have much, because people tend to want to go for the strong stuff, but this should suffice for your purposes quite nicely." He reached forward to grab a small, closed glass display that resembled a petri dish. "The cheapest here is Orange Bud. It's actually grown here in California and has a light orange zing to it. It has between 5 to 10% THC."

Allie nodded at the information as Juice placed the case back and grabbed another. "This one is a bit more expensive, but that's because it's got a higher THC content, between 8 to 15%. It's called Top44 and let me tell you, it is definitely top quality. It's a bit sharp, so great when you have an acquired taste or if you're too drunk to notice," he said with a grin that Allie responded in kind. "The nice thing is that it has a long buzz, you'll really feel this one all night."

Allie nodded again, intrigued with all the information Juice was giving her. She had no idea that there were so many different varieties and that they all could have such different effects. She definitely came to the right place. And not just because of the weed, she thought to herself with a small grin on her lips. Looking at Juice reaching forwards again to swap containers, she noticed his strong toned arms underneath the tight white T-shirt he was wearing. They looked safe and warm and inviting.

Before she got caught staring, she zoned back into Juice, who had started talking again. "Lastly, I've just gotten some prime weed from the Netherlands. Now, because it's from abroad, it's one of the most expensive weeds I've got, but it's definitely worth it. It's called Holland's Hope and has a slight lemony smell and aroma. THC is again between 5 to 10%"

Having provided all the information he deemed relevant, Juice watched her as she was taking it all in. Her pensive eyes hovered over the wall with all the samples as she was letting the information sink in. Nodding resolutely once, her eyes focused back on him. "Alright, I think that for tonight the Orange Bud sounds best. We've got a couple people who are all about local and organic produce so they'll probably appreciate that too."

Juice grinned at her. "Good call, I was thinking the same thing." Allie looked happy that he had approved of her choice and blushed again. She was too fucking adorable.

"How much would I need to get for around 20 people?" She asked. "Well, do you want to make spliffs or do you want joints?" Juice returned the question.

Looking at him with a confused look, Juice clarified. "A spliff is a cannabis cigarette, so tobacco mixed with weed. A joint only contains pot. I prefer a joint, but it requires more weed and considering the fact that most people are going to be drinking, I would recommend spliffs. They won't notice the difference."

"Ah, thanks. That makes sense. Spliffs then please." Allie nodded at him. Juice nodded and walked towards the register, this time motioning for Allie to follow him from a distance. "I'll go grab the orange bud from the back, give me a second."

Allie nodded again as she turned around to the front of the store and look outside. The shop was located in a strip mall away from the city centre, but it was still fairly busy this Saturday morning. Hoping she would not run into anyone she knew here, she'd parked her car two blocks away just in case and she had prepared a story as to why she was here. Her dog, Kurt Cobain, (she had named all her pets after famous rock stars) had broken his favorite toy and wouldn't play with any other. The pet store three shops down were her last hope in finding him the exact same toy. It was a pretty lame excuse, but she hadn't been able to think of anything else. It would just have to do.

Juice came back from the back of the shop with a small jar labeled "Orange Bud". "There we go. So for about twenty people, I would recommend around 10 spliffs. 2 to 3 people per spliff is best in my opinion, otherwise it will hardly do a thing. One spliff of Orange Bud is 4 dollars, so that would make your total come down to 40 bucks. Would that work for your budget?" Juice asked.

Allie nodded enthusiastically. She had reserved a hundred bucks for this just in case, so this was more than within her budget. "Definitely, they'll have to pay for them, they ain't gonna get them for free from me!" Juice laughed at her resolve. "Well you better charge extra for the service. Make some money off it." He suggested.

"That's not a bad idea actually. I could get rich!" Her geeky side got the best of her as she let out a dorky evil laugh, raising her hands in front of her as if she was some evil genius raising lightning from the sky. Juice couldn't help himself and burst out laughing, she was really funny. His laughter silenced her immediately and although she liked the sound, she was too embarrassed to really enjoy it.

"Oh god, I just did that, didn't I?" She acknowledged, her face bright red now. Juice nodded, a smile still present on his face. "Yeah Gru, you did." Allie shook her head, her long hair coming loose from behind her ears and covering her face in shame.

When she looked up, she had a small grin on her face and the tone of her voice had changed slightly. "Well, if I'm Gru, does that mean you're my minion?" The look in her eye and the suggestion behind the remark made Juice swallow quickly. Damn that was a sexy look on her. He could barely belief she was actually flirting outright with him now.

Realizing he was a bad ass biker, he grasped at whatever coolness he could muster to flirt back. "Absolutely, you can tell me what to do any time of the day. Plus, I definitely know what to do with my banana..."

Allie turned bright red again at that remark. She had not seen that one coming. He was making her feel all sorts of things, but she loved the fact that he had made such a dorky reference above all else. Juice realized he enjoyed making her blush. She was something different from the women who generally hung around at the clubhouse all right. While they definitely came with their own benefits, innocent was not a word he could use to describe them. He wasn't bored of them by a long shot, but seeing this girl in front of him made him realize that sometimes outsiders could make fun bed partners too, especially when they were as pretty and witty as her.

Smiling up at him, Allie decided to ignore that remark for now and push down the excitement bubbling up inside her. "I'm sure you can, but right now, all I want are those spliffs." She smiled sweetly at Juice.

"Suit yourself, it's a damn tasty banana." He said with a grin, but still moved to the jar to pull out some buds.

"I'm guessing you don't know how to roll a spliff or you have loose tobacco, am I right?" Nodding a bit sheepishly, Juice moved to a drawer on the left and grabbed some utensils and a jar of loose tobacco. "I'll roll them for you right now. Shouldn't take too long."

"Thank you Juice, I appreciate that. Will this service come extra?" Allie asked, her mind already back to business. Not wanting to scare her off, Juice decided to keep another sexually loaded remark about her servicing his banana to himself. If he played this right, she just might.

"Nah, it's included in the cost." He said, sending her what he was hoping would look like a sweet smile.

Waiting while Juice prepared the spliffs for her, she studied him rolling the weed and tobacco. He was focused on the task at hand an he seemed quite practiced. The thin white paper seemed awfully frail to her, but in Juice's hands he easily willed in into even rolls. Using his own saliva, she watched his tongue wetting the paper and perform as glue. Appreciating the view of him licking his lips, she blushed again when he caught her staring, sending her a devilishly handsome grin.

When he was finally done, she felt quite hot and bothered, which irked her more than it should. She wasn't into bad boys. She liked guys more on the straight and narrow and she definitely didn't like drug dealers. The tone of judgement in her own head shocked her a bit. Juice wasn't some kid on a street corner pushing crystal meth, he was a legitimate business owner, albeit in a somewhat murky field of business.

Grabbing her wallet, she opened it up and grabbed two new 20 dollar bills while Juice was put the ten spliffs in two little plastic bags of 5 each and placed them on the counter.

"Do you want a receipt?" He asked. Allie shrugged her head. "No, I'd rather not have someone accidentally find it and know what I've been up to." She said with a small smile. Understanding her, Juices nodded his head and picked up the two little plastic bags from off the counter and handed them to her.

As Allie grabbed for the bags, she could have sworn she felt a jolt rush through her when his hands touched hers. They looked each other in the eye for a brief moment, her breath caught in her throat.

The sound of the bell ringing, indication someone was entering the shop, broke their connection instantaneously and Allie quickly hurried out of the shop, her face yet again beet red and flushed.

Juice wanted to stop her, yell after her, ask for her number, but the new customer was already demanding his attention. Sighing once, deeply, he returned to job, for the first time ever not enjoying it at all.

Well, he thought to himself absentmindedly, there's always the party tonight.
