How Taking Down Legacy Failed

It was my first day back at Raw, Vince had tried to convince me to take the night off, but I wouldn't hear of it, I couldn't hide forever. "URG" I growled as I threw my bag on the sofa. Randy looked up along with Ted and Cody. They weren't friends, but I think they were all trying on my behalf, I thought it was sweet.

"Women troubles" Ted nodded at Cody. I glared at him, he just grinned. "I take it things didn't go well with Vince"

"No, how can he back John after everything he has put me through?" I complained, I sat down next to Randy who's arm was touching the sofa behind me, I guess his arm was almost around me! It's a start. It's our first date tonight, an actual date! "He went crazy when I suggested that he send John to Smackdown and said that I should go instead!"

"He can never take my baby away from me!" Ted said dramatically, he then looked at his watch. "I have to be some where, peace out!"

"Who taught him that?" Cody asked me and Randy, we just shrugged. "I better go call Ashley, peace out" He mocked Ted; he then left leaving just me and Randy.

"So Randall" I said turning towards him, he gave me a jokily stern look like a 'Oh yeah?' "Where are you taking me tonight?"

"I was thinking we could just kick back, have a few beers" He teased.

"Sounds good, you can cook then" I leaned back into his arms and smirked.

"I would love to Michaela, but I believe that is the woman's job" He put his feet up on the table and pulled me closer to him, I never wanted to move, this was like something I had always day dreamed about and now that I had it, I didn't want anything to change.

"I would love to Randall" I mocked him. "But I'm afraid I'm not feeling well" I pouted at him.

"Period pains? Gutted. Go make me dinner" I slapped him for that, he looked shocked for a minute before lunging towards me. "I saw it online! It is some kind of group! I am not to be blamed" I just stuck my tongue out at him.

"Do you know, I was beginning to loose my faith that we could act like this again" I told him, half smiling, he looked down and nodded. "I've missed it"

"So have I" He pulled me to him a plant a soft kiss on my lips, I smiled and looked down, slightly blushing. "Lets watch Raw shall we?" He asked, I nodded and we sat back down, this time his arm went round my shoulder, I had to suppress a squeal.

We turned on the TV and Raw was just starting. Jack Swagger was in the ring. He was bragging about how he could of beaten John. I shuddered hearing his name, if I could have it my way I would never have to see him again. I knew I wasn't crazy, I knew what happened to me was real. Hearing what Jack had to say, John came down to the ring. It made me sick how the crowd went crazy for him. None of them knew what he put me through.

"I'll be right back" Randy whispers into my ear, he kisses my forehead and gets up to leave, I tugged on his hand. "Are you going to be ok?" I nodded.

"Where are you going?" I asked him. He looked towards the TV. "Oh Randy" I shook my head, he just kissed my hand, his eyes not leaving mine before heading to the ring. I loved seeing him in just the trunks and his new T-shirt. It wasn't long until I hear Randy's music hit. John starred at him suspiciously, Randy starred back at him darkly. Randy wants in on the challenge. Along with Randy, the big show and the Miz came down wanting in as well. All the men in the ring argued until the Guest host came down. It was an NXT rookie, David; he is taking Cena's side, figures. I hate that guy.

He put all the men in matches for that night. Randy versus Jack Swagger. Also John and Bastita (Interesting pairing) versus Big Show and Miz for the tag team titles.

Out of no where Randy tries to RKO John, only John is too quick and pushes him which leads Randy to RKOing Jack Swagger. Damn, so close.

Ted's P.O.V

"I've missed you" She said stepping on her tip toes to kiss me.

"I've missed you too" I replied pushing the hair out of her face. Her arms were now wrapped around my waist and her head leaning into my chest. Mine were around her small back. "We should get more time seeing as Mickie will be spending a lot of time with Randy, I will need to give them their space, not like I did with John"

"Just make sure you don't neglect her so she blames me again" Melina chuckled. "Have you told her about us yet?"

"No, not yet" I scratched the back of my head. "It's not the right time, she has been through so much and I don't know how she is going to take it"

"Don't leave it hanging for too long Ted" She sounded a little cold, but I couldn't tell Mickie! I knew she wouldn't be happy about it. I don't want to loose Mickie, but I don't want to loose Melina either.

"Don't be mad" I stuck my bottom lip out at her. She giggled and kissed me. "Do you want to do something tonight?" I asked her.

"What did you have in mind Mr Dibiase?" She sucked on my bottom lip teasing me slightly.

"Well, I could think of a few things" I wiggled my brows suggestively at her. I really liked Melina and I hope that when I do tell Mickie, she will understand.

Mickie's P.O.V

"Honey, I'm home" Ted said walking through the doors, I patted for him to sit next to me. "What are we watching?" He asked stealing my popcorn. I tried to reach for it back, but he pulled it away. "Ah, ah, ah, I'm the guest therefore my popcorn"

"That didn't make sense" I told him chucking popcorn at him.

"I don't have to make sense, I'm handsome" I laughed and started to kick at him. He looked at me like I had done something completely crazy and shocking. "Did you just dare to kick my arse?" Ted did a Randy and lunged at me, only I moved out of the way and Ted fell on the floor.

"Not as smooth as you used to be, huh?" I smirked at him, he glared at me, he started to get up, but I put my feet on him.

"Excuse me" He coughed, I gave him an innocent look, he stood up and my feet fell to the floor.

"Oh man" Instead of sitting back down, Ted walked away, I watched after him.

"Once you've stopped admiring my body I would like to use the bathroom in private" Ted put his hands on his hips, I shuddered jokily. "YOUR JUST LIKE SEVERUS SNAPE!" Ted yelled angrily at me and slammed the door in the toilets. I was god smacked. Ted came back to see me still in shock. "Your face is priceless, owned"

"You're such a slut!" I complained, I couldn't think of any other insult, Ted sat back down next to me.

"Me? Me?" He said, I nodded. "I am not a slut!" He said defensively. "I am just a horny male who gets laid a lot"

"I've missed you, you know that" I smiled at him, putting my arms out for a hug. "When I was locked away, I kept thinking about how I just wanted to hear one of your jokes"

"I missed you too" Ted replied to me sadly and hugged me.

The rest of Raw went pretty quickly. Dave walked out of his tag team match with John, which made him chase after Dave causing them both to get counted out. The guest host then took the liberty to become John's new partner and take on Big Show and Miz. The guest host however screws John over, which I was very happy about, Dave came back out after the match and started beating John which caused me to smile even more. So far, this was a good day!

Ted even won his match against Christian. Randy won his against Jack Swagger too, Randy has won over the crowd, it is great to see them cheering for him and that viper thing he does, so hot!

I went back to the hotel straight after to prepare for mine and Randy's date. I was meeting him at the restaurant as he had to see his solicitor again, he wants the divorce procedures to go quick.

"Do you think these heels go with this dress?" I asked Ted. He got up and picked the shoes I wanted to wear up. He chucked them over his shoulders and looked through my pile of shoes.

"Try these on!" He passed me the shoes he just picked out. I tried them on with the dress and they looked much better, I looked at Ted in surprise. "I'm just naturally fashionable like I'm just naturally handsome"

"So what have you got on tonight Teddy?" I asked him whilst applying my eye liner.

"Tonight? Nothing, just watching DVDs I suppose" He replied, sitting down on my bed.

"Why don't you ask Cody to do something?" He nodded and smiled.

"I might just do that, now go baby or you might be late for your date" He helped me up and led me towards the door.

"Thanks" I told him, kissing his cheek.

"Have a good night baby" He called after me, I turned around and sent him a small wave.

I took a taxi to the restaurant, I was five minutes early so I took a seat and waited for him. Why was I so nervous? This is what I've been wanting to happen for ages and now, its actually happening!

Ted's P.O.V

I checked my hair one more time in the mirror before leaving to see Melina. I was really looking forward to tonight and what we possibly could do. I couldn't help, but smirk.

It's a new day

My ringtone played. "Hello?" I said answering my phone.

"Ted it's me Randy, I can't speak for long, I need you to go to the restaurant and tell Mickie I can't make it" Ah crap. I was about to speak up. "I have to go, please go tell her" He hung up after that. Mickie was going to be crushed. I looked at my watch, she left over half an hour ago. I looked down at my contact list and went down to Melina's name.

"Hey baby, where are you?"

"Hey, listen, something has come up, I can't make it tonight" I told her, I felt guilty, but I needed to be there for Mickie, last time I wasn't and I will be damned if I let that happen again.

"You owe me"

"I knew you would understand, you're the best, love you" I hung up quickly and ran towards my car. It was a ten minute journey, normally it would be fifteen, but I paid the driver extra to step on it. The restaurant's seating was outside, I scanned for Mickie and I found her.

She was leaning back in her seat, she looked so sad, she was playing with the tips of the table cloth. I walked towards her, she looked up at me, her eyes shiny. "He isn't coming, is he?"

"I'm sorry baby" I reached out my hand to her, she took it and pushed her chair in.

"Lets just go home" She tried to smile at me, but I could see how much this had affected her. She walked in front of me to the car, she didn't say a word. She faced away from me as I unlocked the car.

"Baby?" I went in front of her to see she was crying. "Come here" I whispered to her, taking her in my arms. She just pushed her face into my chest and cried softly. My heart sunk for her, I think everything was just really over whelming for her and she needed to get it out.

So what was Randy's reason for not turning up?
A new character will come in next chapter and will make quite the impression on Cody! As you might of seen in the trailer ;)
