How Taking Down Legacy Failed

Mickie's P.O.V

"Stupid Chloe" I muttered under my breath as I was starring out of the window of Cody's car. I was driving him with Cody and Ted this time, whilst Becky was riding with Randy. Good, don't want to see his face anyway! I hate jealousy, I just wanted to stab Chloe in there, how could Randy talk like that when I was sitting right there? In fact, screw Chloe, I could have stabbed him!

"Baby, you're not honestly upset about what happened at the restaurant are you?" Ted said to me, I turned to face him.

"No" I mumbled like a child.

"Baby" He said in a stern patronising voice. "What have I told you?"

"Always be honest" I continued to mumble. "It just pissed me off, I was sitting right there!"

"It was a joke between us guys baby, you will understand when your older" He told me patting my head.

"I'm older then you" I told him.

"So naïve" He chuckled and pinched my cheeks.

"Cody, pull over a second" Cody did as I said, I got out of the car and sat up front with Cody, I turned around and mocked Ted. "Only the big kids get to sit up front" He scowled at me.

"So in continue to what you and Ted were saying, it upset you?" Cody asked me. I nodded. "Why? You know he loves you, he was just messing around tonight, he didn't mean anything by it"

"I don't know what I was even expecting him to say, it was like he was so sweet a few days ago and tonight it was like I didn't even exist" I sighed. "And to what you said, he hasn't told me he loved me yet"

"Are you going to talk to him about it?" Cody asked me, glancing over.

"Probably, he will notice something is wrong and will gather on why pretty quickly, I just don't want to seem like a pissy bitch to him, who gets upset with everything he does"

"Don't worry baby, it was proved tonight that she doesn't want Randy, she wants me" Ted said smugly, waving her number around in victory.

"It's ok to get upset and he will understand, if anything it will improve your relationship" Who knew Cody could be such a guru?

"I hope your right" I told him. He gave my hand a little squeeze. "Aww Codykins! Pull over so I can pinch your cheeks"

"No"

"But!"

"No"

"It won't…"

"No"

"I don't like y…"

"No"

"I wasn't even going to…"

"No"

I glared at him, I had been defeated, I sat back on my chair and crossed my arms, occasionally pulling faces and Cody. "Question!" I turned to see Ted raising his hand. "Why couldn't I drive?"

"Because the story you told me about you driving off the road because you got too into the song Mickie, your so fine, made me hesitant to allow you" Cody replied to him.

"It wasn't getting into, it was raving" Ted said in a matter of fact tone.

"Speaking of raving" I turned on the radio. Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss began to play by The Bloodhound Gang, now this is a raving tune. I turned around to see Ted already bobbing his head. "C'mon Codykins! You know you want to!"

"No, I'm driving"

"We drove and raved…."

"You drove off the road"

"That's not the point" I scowled, I turned to Ted again, he was getting even more into it, he was fist pumping into the air, I joined in with him. "Codykins"

"No"

"C'mon Cody, shake that butt!" I turned to music up louder, this time when I turned around Ted had gotten completely into it and was having his own little rave in the back seat. "Shake that ass Cody!" It got to the chorus, by this stage Cody started to bob his head. "That's the spirit!" He got more and more into it, not too dramatically that we drove off the road, but it was still pretty cool, it was a good moment for us and just for a bit it made me forget about Chloe.

"Who ya texting?" I asked Ted trying to lean over to see whether or not it was 'Chloe'

"Baby!" Ted pushed me away. "If you must do I'm tweeting!"

"I don't know what is so good about twitter" Cody said.

"Well Voldemort would like it" Ted shrugged.

"What?" Cody asked him, a confused look on his face.

"Think about it, you don't call your contacts friends, you call them 'followers'" Ted told us, me and Cody exchanged looks.

"Ted, that's….actually…really, true" Ted just tugged on his t-shirt smugly.

"Oh Cody, you have to hear about Ted's dream last night, he woke up crying because of it!"

"Shit, really man?" Cody asked Ted, his voice full of concern. Ted nodded sadly. "What happened? Was it a nightmare? Did you watch another horror movie?"

"It wasn't a nightmare, I was crying because I couldn't finish it"

"Er..ok"

"I was running Edward Cullen over in his Volvo" Ted smirked and leaned back. Cody pulled over a sigh deeply.

"You don't want to get into this with me Ted because you will loose"

"Bring it Rhodes"

"Guys, I would actually like to get to the hotel tonight" I told them both sternly. I pushed Cody to turn back to the steering wheel.

"God, she's rude" Ted scoffed.

"Tell me about it! She's probably an Eric fan" Cody sneered at me.

"Oh they are the worst" Ted said in agreement.

"Unbelievable" I muttered. "Just shut up and drive"

"He is going to wait for a please" Ted said to me.

"Thank you Ted"

"No problem Cody"

"Please" I gritted my teeth.

Both cars arrived at the hotel at the same time, I slammed my door and looked up to see Randy starring at me. I turned to Ted. "You aren't seriously going to text that waitress are you?" I asked Ted.

"Are you mad? Of course I am! Teddy deserves a night of fun" Ted replied, winking at me, I shuddered.

"Just lock the door next time" My mind went into instant flashback of me catching him with Melina. "I have seen enough already"

"I saw how your mouth dropped, you were surprised about how big my size is compared to RKO's" Ted said just as Randy and Becky made their way over.

"Say what now?" Randy chuckled faintly hearing what Ted had said.

"Yeah, you heard! I'm bigger"

"That's the biggest joke I've heard since women's rights" Randy retorted, Ted and Cody started laughing at that, but me and Becky were not amused, All three earned a slap from Becky. "OW woman!"

"Serves you right" She muttered.

"Back to our conversation" Randy paused for a minute trying to remember. "Ah yes, mine is bigger than your whole fucking head dude"

"A lot of people tell me my head is rather small" Ted said rubbing his head. "Save yourself the humiliation Orton"

"Look, Mickie saw it right?" Randy asked Ted, he nodded. "She told me it looked like E.T's shrivelled up finger" Ted gasped at this and looked at me.

"Is this true baby?"

I looked over at Randy who gave me a pleading look to go along with it, I just glared at him. "No, it's not" I said sternly before walking away.

For a moment, I heard silence and then faintly "I'm in trouble, aren't I?"

"Mine is bigger than all of yours!" Becky then interrupted not realising they had moved on from that conversation.

Becky's P.O.V

"Help me!"

I looked up from where I was sitting and grinned at Randy, "What do you need help with, dear brother?"

Randy bit the corner of his lip and plonked down next to me, I was sitting on a sofa in one of the reception rooms – I had grown sick of my hotel room.

"Mickie is totally pissed with me!"

"Oh… I wonder why."

Randy gave me a dirty look, "Chloe is like a 'dream girl'."

"So, Mickie isn't your perfect idea of a girl?"

Randy quickly cleared his throat, "I don't mean that! Chloe is someone who you would have a schoolboy crush on when you're in your teens. Mickie is who I want to be with."

I smiled gently, "You really like her, don't you?"

"No. I love her."

"Yet you totally forgot she existed when Chloe appeared?"

Randy sounded frustrated, "I'm a man! I can't help it. When I was, like, fifteen, Chloe was the ideal picture of the type of girl I wanted. It was a bit of shock to actually see her last night… I sort of forgot who I was. And who I was with."

"I hate that excuse," I told him irritably, "'I'm a man', that's such a pathetic reason! Being a man doesn't give you reason to act like a total animal. Haven't you heard of a little thing called self-control?"

"Leave the lectures out, Bex."

"Hypocrite! And besides, you're the one who came to me for help!"

"Well, how do I win her back?"

I leant back in the sofa, crossed my arms and turned my head away from him, "Give me a good reason to why I should help you."

"Maybe because I'm your brother!"

"You can't have it both ways, Randy!" I sighed in a tired voice, "I give you advice and you tell me off for lecturing you and then when I don't help you, you use the 'brother' excuse."

"Wait…"

"No!" I scolded, "That's your problem, Randall Orton! You're always trying to make excuses for your action. Why don't you just be a man and tell the truth?"

"Becky!"

"Randy!"

"Well! What are you saying that I should do?"

I laughed in disbelief. I couldn't believe my brother was so idiotic.

"You need to be honest with Mickie! Tell her that you acted like an idiot with Chloe but you couldn't help feeling attracted to her – because she exposed herself like that and hunted for a reaction!" I groaned, "Tell Mickie that you love her, for goodness sake! Tell her that you really care about her and that she is so important to you!"

Randy bit his lip before getting to his feet, "Thanks Bex, but I don't think that'll work. See you later!"

As he walked off, I couldn't help laughing. Why did guys never take advices from girls – about girls? It wasn't long after Mickie left that Randy came.

"WE HAVE A TEXT!" I yelled.

Mickie smirked, "What does it say?"

I opened it and sniggered when I saw it was from Ted, "'Maybe we should meet somewhere a little more private?' and then he put three kisses."

"What a dog! He wants to hook up with her on the first date!" Mickie sniggered, "Oh bless his heart. What should we say back?"

"Oh Teddy Weddy Woo, I am in love with you."

"Hmm, maybe a little too upfront," Mickie giggled.

I chucked, "What do you suggest then?"

She bit her lip for a moment then grinned, "When I saw you at the restaurant, I had to remind myself that I was working. I just wanted to jump on you."

"Brilliant!" I squealed and quickly tapped that in and sent it off.

I did feel a little guilty about pretending to be Chloe but it was obvious from Ted's texts that he just wanted to get with her. Some of them were sick-making mushy to downright x-rated dirty.

Mickie and I had been having a blast coming up with replies to his texts.

Ted replied almost instantly. "'Tell me about it. I think I was getting a b-' TED!" Mickie screeched and then the two us collapsed into giggles.

Suddenly, her hotel door banged open and the two of us jumped out of our skins.

"Did you call?" Ted asked and I saw his cell sticking out of his pocket… at least I hoped it was his cell! Teehee.

Mickie and I immediately straightened up and tried not to grin – which just made us grin even more.

"No."

"I swear I heard you…" He turned his head, "Cody! Did you hear them call my name?

"I did." Cody appeared behind him and put his elbow on Ted's shoulder, "Ladies. What are you up to?"

I hid the phone behind me and smiled innocently, "Just having a good gossip."

"But I heard you say my name?"

"We were gossiping about you!" Mickie half-lied.

"What were you saying?" Ted asked, looking anxious.

I sneakily sent Ted a text saying 'Nice legs, when do they open?'

"Just about how… good-looking you are." Mickie giggled.

Ted's cell beeped and I took the opportunity to show Mickie the text and she cracked up with laughter.

"Whose that?" Cody asked us curiously, his eyes on Mickie and me.

"Just… Becky's secret boyfriend." Mickie said quickly.

I saw something flash across Cody's eyes but he kept cool. I didn't really even notice because I was watching Ted take out his phone and saw his smile widen slightly.

"Becky's secret boyfriend?" Cody asked.

"Yep. Although, he isn't so secret anymore." I nudged Mickie in the ribs.

My phone beeped and I quickly glanced at it. The text was too dirty for me to even attempt to keep hold of myself.

Mickie stole the phone from me, read it and joined me in rolling around the bed in hysterics. Ted and Cody stared at us as if we were insane.

"What's so funny…?" Ted asked.

"Becky, your boyfriend is so funny!" Mickie howled as she wiped tears away.

"I know! I love him for that!" I actually had tears running down my cheeks but I managed to see Cody look quite irritated.

It was like killing two birds with one stone.

Mickie's P.O.V

I was pulling the covers back when I heard the door shut behind me, I looked over my shoulder to see Randy standing there, he had a look on his face which said 'We need to talk'

"Your angry at me aren't you?" He said bluntly, he didn't beat around the bush did he.

"What ever gave you that idea?" I replied sarcastically rolling my eyes. He groaned and shook his head, he then starts to…laugh? "What is so funny?"

"You" He replied still laughing. I starred at him, confused as hell. "Your jealous of some waitress?"

"I'm not jealous!" I said a little too defensively.

"Oh c'mon Mickie, you don't actually think that waitress is a patch on you" He placed his hands on my hips and pulled me closer. "At the end of the day, she is just another bit of eye candy, your different"

"How?"

"Because your more than just looks, I mean of course your as sexy as fuck and I get a boner from just…"

"Randy"

"Right sorry, your more than that, your funny, your sweet, your smart, your cute, I could go on for ages, at the end of the day, if you shaved that woman bald, she would be nothing, you would still be beautiful to me"

"Your making me feel like a bitch now" I moaned shoving my face into a pillow, he laughed at me. He made me feel and look stupid! He says the sweetest thing and suddenly I'm not mad anymore, nor can I understand why I was so mad in the first place. "I don't know why I get so paranoid" I told him sitting up.

"Maybe John cheating on you made you insecure" I shook my head at what he said.

"I wasn't too into John though" I replied. "There was always something weird about our relationship, it never quite fitted together"

"Maybe another relationship? Your first love or…" I cut him off by laughing. He looked at me confused. "What?"

"First love, I used to think I would be able to fill up three books talking about him" I scoffed at myself.

"We've never spoke about that" Randy said gently. "Do you want to?"

"I don't want to make your ears bleed" I chuckled to myself.

"Please" Randy said. Why did he want to know?

"It was a long time ago! We don't need to talk about it" I told him, laying down, he was still sitting up. "Oh Randy" I groaned. "Come to bed, let's not talk about this"

"My first love" He announced. "I thought was Sam, but now I think about it, I don't think what I felt for her was ever love, I don't believe that you can fall in love with two people at the same time"

"Does that mean you lov…"

"Don't change the subject"

"I'm not, you just said…"

"No"

"But you…"

"I told you, now it's your turn to tell me" I sighed, why was he so bloody interested. "I want to know more about you Mickie" I guess that answered my question.

"It was stupid" I shook my head.

"But not to you" He cutted in.

"Yeah" I nodded. "I guess you could say that" I shrugged, I hadn't spoken about it since I was a teenager, it felt weird opening up that memory again. "I was a teenager and it probably wasn't even love, but it felt it at the time" I didn't want to bore him, but when I looked up at him, he looked so interested and wanted me to tell him more. "It didn't even last a huge amount of time, but the time we did spend together, I know everyone says this, but he really did make me feel special, made me smile, I could be having the worst day and one text from him would make me smile" I laughed softly, I didn't look at Randy. "I guess you could say he was my best friend, he was someone I couldn't wait to talk to and we went out, it was what I wanted, but it turned out to be the biggest mistake as I lost his friendship over it, the rest is just stu…."

"No" Randy snapped. "Go on" He said more calmly. I gave him a puzzled look, but went on anyway.

"I will never forget the words in his text when he said it was over"

"Must have been hard especially as it was by text"

"It was stupid, it sucks thinking how I let someone hurt me so much and how it still pisses me off now" I didn't realised I had started crying until I felt Randy's arms wrap around me. "Since then, I've always been paranoid" He gently stroked my cheers.

"Still hurts the same" Randy whispered, I felt another body brush against mine, I looked up to see Ted.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him.

"My teddy senses were tingling that you needed me!"

"You heard from the couch didn't you?" I asked him, laughing as I wiped my eyes with the back of my hand.

"Yeah" He grinned. "That guy was an idiot"

"Do you still…" Randy paused. "like him?"

"God no" I said in surprise. "It was along time, its just the thought of knowing how much one person destroyed you, it was humiliating to feel that way"

"What if you saw him now?"

"Her teddy bear would beat him up" Ted interjected, I ruffled his hair. "You ok now baby?" I nodded. "Good, now I have something to do so see you in the morning!" He took out his phone, I grinned, was Becky still texting him?

"Texting a certain someone?"

"No, I'm going to go find Cody ACTUALLY" He left the room.

"Pissy" I mumbled jokily, Randy chuckled and laid me down.

"That guy was an idiot" Randy said to me, brushing the hair from my face.

"I guess it's true what they say, you have to kiss a few frogs before you find your prince" I said to him as we adjusted how we were sitting, I was now in between his legs, leaning back onto his chest. His hands were placed on my stomach and mine on top of his. "Speaking of princes…I don't suppose you want to watch…"

"We are not watching a Disney movie" Randy told me firmly.

"But, but…we could like watch…"

"No""Ted watched it with me" I pouted.

"You can pout all you want, we aren't watching one!"

"Look" I looked under the bed and pulled out a few Disney DVD. "You can choose"

"Did I hear Disney?" I heard Ted yell before the door burst open. "Scoot over, I'm watching!"

"Out"

"You can't tell me what to.."

"Out!"

"Man!" Ted yelled and stomped out of the room.

"Tomorrow?" I asked Randy.

"Maybe"

"Good! I say we watch Thumbelina, your in luck, I know all the words" I teased him, he groaned. "I will put the subtitles up so we can sing together"

"Forget it, I can't do it!"

"Oh…ok, I understand" I said pretending to be sad, I had to try so hard not to laugh as Randy watched me.

"Mickie" He groaned. "Stop it!"

"Stop what?" I asked innocently.

"Acting so cute and sad, it's driving me insane, please stop"

"I don't know what your talking about" I lied.

"If I watch" He paused and shook his head. "A disney movie with you, will you stop giving me that little sad look?"

"Yes!" I threw my arms around him. "Thank you!"

He laughed and pulled me onto him more. "Mickie, there was something I wanted to tell you" I stayed quiet and waited for him to go on, but he didn't. "It doesn't matter" He sighed, he placed me by his side and turned to sleep.

"No, go on" I nudged him.

"No it wasn't important" He shrugged, still facing away from me.

"You can't just go I need to tell you something and then not say!" I protested.

"Goodnight Mickie"

"You can't do that"

"Night Night"

"That's not fair!" I whined.

"Sweet dreams" I could almost feel his smirk.

"Why torture me?"

"See you in the morning"

"Randyyyy"

"Goodnight"

"Why won't you face me?"

"Because I know your just going to give me that cute sad look!" Damn, well, that's my plan ruined.

"Ass" I muttered as I huffed and laid down.

"Cute ass" He corrected me.

Becky's P.O.V

"So… secret boyfriend, eh?"

I glanced at Cody and fought to keep a smile off, "I was wondering how long it would take you to bring that up." The two of us were just snuggled up on the bed and I had been expecting this.

"You never mentioned one before."

"Do I need to tell you anything?"

"Yeah, I think you do if it's about a boyfriend! What's his name?"

"Jake." It was the first name that popped into my mind.

Cody actually sounded angry as he spoke, "How do you know him?"

"Does it matter?"

"Yes. It does!"

"Just… out."

"Were you ever going to tell me?"

"Maybe. Maybe not."

Cody sat up and I turned to look at him, he looked pissed.

"Why the hell are you dating some other guy?" He said in a strangled voice.

I raised an eyebrow and laughed in almost disgust, "So… am I hearing this right? You're allowed to date more than one person but I'm not? Is that how it is?"

"No! It's different!"

I laughed indignantly, "That's absolute crap. How is it different?"

"I've been with Ashley for ages…"

"Don't bother! You're hardly in love with her if you're sneaking around."

"I didn't say I was in love with her… I just said that we've been together ages."

"You know, I don't need this!" I snapped, "Why should I put myself in this position? Why should I stick with being the 'bit on the side'?"

"Because… because we're great together!"

"What the hell are you to me, Cody?" I demanded, "A boyfriend? A sex-buddy? Friends with benefits?"

"I… I don't know."

"That's' my point! I don't know where I stand and I don't know if I can deal with it!"

"What are you saying?"

"I'm saying that I don't know if I can do this any-"

Suddenly there was a knock on the door. I jumped up and tried to look nonchalant whilst Cody hastily got to his feet and pulled it open.

"Ted!" Cody greeted but his voice was a little frosty.

"Hey. I was wondering if you wanted to get a… hey Becky, didn't see you there. What are you doing here?"

"Just gossiping with Cody." I said in a cold voice and pushed past them, "See you later."

"Wait." Cody looked at me a little anxiously, "Maybe we can continue the discussion later?"

I turned away from him and continued walking but as I left, I said over my shoulder, "I don't think that's a good idea."

Preview for Chapter 113

"Ah Randy, I see you've meant my pick your poison" Edge drawled coming up from behind Jack. Randy glared darkly at him. Edge then switched his gaze from Randy to me, a smirk spread on his face. Randy tugged on my hand to pull me back, but I wanted to show Edge I wasn't afraid of him. "Are you going to be out there too? I wouldn't want you to accidentally get oh I don't know SPEARED"

"Your spear is no match for my finisher" I told him confidently, he laughed and cocked up an eye brow.
