It was the same dream. It was supposed to be the same one. It have happened many times that Kuroko already knows the sequence of the events. However despite the same event happening again and again Kuroko still clings to this dream. As much as he clings at the voice he hears every time he's in danger. As much as he clings on the fact that the only person he remember in his past is Akashi Seijuurou. He clings on this dream just as much.

Now, what is the difference this time?

The faces have become clearer. The place where the said event happened is more detailed. And lastly, new scenes are added and a new person is introduced.

Just like the old dream he sees himself as a young boy who diligently follows a man and he knows that his eyes at that moment was full of love and admiration. On how he can exhibit so much when he was young and so less nowadays is a mystery to himself.

The dream happened the same as last time though it had been a while since he have had this dream. Ever since Akashi Seijuurou that is. It was as if a force reckons within Akashi that forces him to not remember his past and be content that he have found a person on his past. But Kuroko is not content some might say that it is such a selfish act but Kuroko never considered others opinion anyway so why care?

It started with him and the man playing with had been a familiar sight. Just by seeing the face and the interaction between the two was an enough answer for Kuroko. That the man that was with him all along was his father. That ever since the start his father was with him.

Then just like the old dream just with different setting. Everything blackened leaving Kuroko with a version of him as a child crying his heart out and kept on calling for his father.

"Fa-father. Please open the light. I-I don't like the dark. It's scary." He did not try to comfort the child. It was just a dream and he have already tried once and it ended with the dream ending. So he never tried again since he clings at this dream just as much. He bared himself into listening to himself crying at the start it irritated him but as time passes it had become a reminder that once he was also a child. That once in his life he had someone that he could depend on. And that was enough.

Now, normally the dream would continue at another place with him being able to see again. And the child Kuroko playing aimlessly with a man in a wheel chair that watches him.

However the dream continued at a hospital with the surroundings still pitch black. On how he knew despite the fact of the surrounding darkness was because of the sounds of the ambulance sirens though it was from a far place since it was not that loud and the beeping of the monitor that can only be heard at such places.

He then heard the voice of his father. "Yes, I would. He is my child. I would give everything to him."

"Are you sure by that Kuroko?"

"Tetsuya wouldn't agree but I know you're the only one that I could trust on this. We belong at the same company after all."

He heard the doctor sigh. "I really shouldn't do this but I trust your judgement."

He heard a door opening but before it closed the doctor reminded his father "Tell the operation to Tet-chan. He wouldn't agree right away especially because of you."

Then the door closes and silence followed.

"Tetsuya I know you're awake. You have to practice more with your stealth my dear child of mine."

"What was that father?"

"Tetsuya. Do you want to see again?

"Why?"

"I will let you see again."

"Father, I know what you're planning. Please don't."

"I am already old Tetsuya and you still have many opportunities on you. Will you let me give you a new chance?"

He did not heard his own answer. The scene moved on into another part of the hospital. On how he knew it despite of the darkness he couldn't figure out. Maybe because instead of hearing the monitor beeping he heard people around him and lastly his father reminding him of something. An entrance to the operation room perhaps?

"Kuroko, you should know that after this you would lose your memories."

"Father-" the young Kuroko would like to protest but he was cut off by the doctor.

"Are you ready now Kuroko?"

"Yes." the one that seems to be Tetsuya's father answered.

"I am not." the young Tetsuya answered also, thinking that the doctor was referring to him.

"Don't worry Tetsuya the darkness would be gone soon. You should be able to see clearly again."

"But father, I don't care about not seeing anything. I don't care about the darkness. I'll be fine as like long as I am able to hear your voice." the young child sobbed. "Don't leave me alone."

"You would still hear my voice after this Tetsuya. Do not worry, I won't leave your side.

"O-okay."

"I think we're ready doctor." His father answer. A signal that they could go on with their operation.

"Remember Tetsuya, I'll always be at your side.

And so the operation went on. The ability to see clearly was granted to Kuroko again.

They have stayed at a place that Kuroko recognizes. It was Seirin orphanage. Though it looked newer compared to the current orphanage as if it was newly built.

The sight bothered Kuroko. Last he know was that he have forgotten his memories even before arriving at the orphanage. The first person he met was Hyuuga followed by Riko and Kiyoshi. The three had no idea on who he is at all.

What is the child version of him doing at the place?

"Kuroko-" the voice was owned by person lying by the bed beside him. Though this time the person's face was covered with bandage. The eye portion specifically.

The young Kuroko tilted his head. "Father" he said after a few moment of silence as if he have been thinking of who was the person that had called him.

The man smiled after hearing the call of the young child. "You remember me? That's good. I thought you would forget me."

"I will never forget you father. I will always remember you. Especially your voice."

The man nodded satisfied by the young one's answer. "That's good to know."

Then as if it had been any of his normal dream he played at a garden with his father 'watching' over him. Though he had no idea on why both of them was alone in the place. No one should leave a child and a blind man alone.

"Father?"

"Yes, Tetsuya?" the man answered. The emotion of happiness and content was clear.

"I love you, father. I love you so much." The child Kuroko run towards his father and hugged him.

"And I you my dear."

The child sigh. "Why is it that it seems that something is missing?"

Kuroko managed to detect the way his father had stiffened but the child version of him had not. "Nothing's a miss."

Normally the dream would end around this event. It had never gotten far ahead.

But a new scene is added again. This time the orphanage is in fire. Everyone was running amok. Some trying to get out while others are trying to save themselves and the others.

The child Kuroko? He was afraid. Kuroko had no idea on why. Normally any child would also panic and would try to get out themselves. But why the child version of him remains locked inside the room.

"Father, where are you?" he sobbed to himself. "Let's go outside now please."

"Tetsu?"

He heard someone call him. He looked around searching for the unfamiliar and yet a voice he somehow remembers.

"It's me Ogiwara. Do you still remember me? It's Shige-kun" he found the owner of the voice. It was someone also around his age. Though despite of him being the same age he was putting on a brave font.

"Shige-kun?"

The boy nodded. "Let's go out. Let's save ourselves first." Shigehiro carried Kuroko.

It had been like that for a few moments before Kuroko struggled against him. "No! I should save my father first. Father is still inside. Father!"

"Tetsu. Calm down. I'll go back to save your father later. "

"O-Okay." He silently let himself be carried by the young boy.

Then the scene was cut once again. This time the place was safe. Though it had been in ruins because of the fire. Kuroko was inside the place. He inside the orphanage. Inside the room where he had first waken up on. In the room where he had stayed on with his father. Inside the room was him and his father. This time instead of the same old position where Kuroko sits on his father laps the father lies on him. As the child version of him hugs his father. "Father? Please stay alive."

He watched as the child version of him stops the blood flowing from his father.

"Kuroko. Calm down. Just forget everything. I'll always guide you."

"Father, don't leave me alone please father."

"Kuroko. Live on. Remember Akashi Seijuurou is still alive."

"Father no, please don't leave Me." he sobbed. "Father."

"Kuroko Tetsuya forget everything just remember Akashi Seijuurou is still alive."

"Father, no." He hugged his father tighter. "I will forget everything. I would remember Sei-kun. Just please don't die on me. I would even try to forget you. Please just live father."

"Father." Then Kuroko woke up. He looked around to determine whether he was already awake or not. He recognized the room of Akashi mansion. He took a deep breath.

Who killed his father?
