Akashi Seijurou knew right away that he was in a dream. Why? Because he is the best on distinguishing reality from dreams though he have never been proud of this ability. The ability on distinguishing something where one could escape from reality is not a god send.
Akashi sighed. He have been suffering this little perfection of his for years so it should stop bothering him. He did not bothered to look around the place. He was familiar with it anyway.
In his dream that is.
It was a comfortable place actually. Every time he have this dream he will be at his happiest. The place seems like it is lived by a happy family. Any moment he is bound to see two figures of children running around the place.
He never bothered the two kids again after his first try because it disturbs the dream right away that it would wake him up right away. As far as possible Akashi likes to have this dream as long as possible.
Many would have been bored if their dreams are on repetitive, but Akashi holds into this dream. One may even ask why.
Akashi can distinguish dreams from reality and by seeing this dream multiple times Akashi knew that this is something that he remembers from his past. He knows at some point in his life that this dream had been a reality.
The red-head can even do a count off on when the two kids will start on running around. Akashi never saw the profile of the two kids clearly. He never troubled himself on seeing them clearly because he knew that this is the extent of how far he can remember, and he hate himself for such.
Three
Akashi starts counting patiently waiting for the kids. Two
One
But he was caught off guard when a man suddenly bursts inside the room. He looked at the person that had just entered the house.
This is new to him. This never happened in his dream before.
"Guys!" the man shouted in the place. Akashi wondered on who he is talking to. No one was supposed to be in the place aside from the two kids and seeing the dream multiple times he was kind of sure of it. "Change of plan. The boss requires the full cooperation of the elites. He commands that you should be at the company right away for a briefing."
Then out of the blue three figures came out of god knows where. Akashi couldn't keep up. All the things that are happening are new.
"What about them? We are strictly prohibited from leaving this place without the permission of-" The man was not able to finish his sentence as he was cut by the newly arrived man.
"He was already informed. New guards are just outside."
The three nodded and exits the building leaving the two kids alone in the house with complete strangers. It wasn't new. The elites never showed their selves at the children. They choose to guard the children with silence.
The conceiving smile of the man that just delivered the news escaped the three elites, but it did not escape Akashi's eyes. Something was about to happened and he was sure of it.
He looked around worried for the safety of the kids. And by the corner he saw two little figures and was once again taken aback by seeing the clear profile of the other child. It was him all along. A child version of his that is.
He moved towards them and listens to their conversation.
"I told you my father wouldn't leave us unguarded Sei-kun" The other child says to the younger version of him.
"I know that, but I would have preferred if he have at least informed as of the three elites that had been guarding us"
"Just be thankful Sei-kun"
Again, that name was used. This dream just confirmed his suspicion that calling him by such is an important part of his past. He wonders on why Kuroko could call him such and his heart would skip a beat and if other would do the same thing there would be no reaction at all.
The younger version of Akashi was about to say another thing, but he was stopped by the loud gunshot just outside. "They are here again. They're coming to get me"
They first tried to hide in the shower room, but it had seemed futile as if being in the light- even though they have closed the door- would be the guide of the man on capturing them both.
Then they tried the master's bedroom seeking refuge under the master's bed. Most of the time just being inside the room could already afford them the security they see and need but again it disappointed them.
Their last resort was the closet. The cramped closet by the corner of the room. The two kids stuffed their selves inside allowing the darkness of the small space embraced them both.
Akashi stares at the two. The younger version of him was muffled in the ears by hands by the other child. It was done hoping that his efforts would silenced the gunshots to be heard. The other child stops himself from crying to stop the young Akashi from being scared.
"Don't worry. I am here to protect you as you are here to protect me" The young Akashi mirrors the other child also offering him comfort.
The scene was abruptly changed. The younger version of Akashi was carried outside by another man.
"Good thing that Ogiwara Shigehiro demanded that we should be back faster. Where the fuck is the elites and why would they leave you two around?" The man mutters to himself not minding the kid that he was carrying.

Akashi wakes from his dream. He did not bother to look around for he knows on where he is exactly. He took a deep breath thankful for the dream that he just had. Another piece of his past has fallen in place.

Both have the same person in mind.
Ogiwara Shigehiro
The person that could as well leave the to their past.

The morning started out normally. It has been days since Kuroko started staying around the place. He was already comfortable around the manor. He doesn't know on why the place offers him such.
"Enjoying the view?"
Kuroko did not look on who is the owner of the voice. He could already tell on who it is. "Humor me this, Sei-kun. Can you believe me that I could consider this place a haven since it offers me some kind of security? I see myself going back to this place just to hang around."
Akahshi just hummed his agreement. He was somehow delighted by what Kuroko just said. "I could say the same my dear but that would be moot. Rather I would rather say that ever since you arrived here you somehow offered me something new. Something more to seek."
"Maybe so. Maybe we were meant to meet each other, and it just happens to be every time I'm involved in an accident." Kuroko replied in a joking manner.
" Just consider it Destiny tying our red string of fate." Akashi looked at the guy at his front that was still looking forward. He moved forward closing the distance between the two. He was about to hold Kuroko's hand to face the man, but his advancement was stopped when Kuroko suddenly looked behind.
They were too close. And his turn was too fast. Causing him to stumble forward. His fall was stopped by Akashi's embrace.
"Thank you," He says as he straightened himself.
"You keep falling for me, don't you?"
Kuroko looked at the man at his front. He did not know why, and it wasn't part of his plan to temporarily gain his freedom, but he meant every word that came of his mouth and he knows that if ever he was asked to do so again he would repeat the same thing.
"Please kiss me already"
