How Taking Down Legacy Failed
"You nervous?" Randy asked Mandy.
"A little! Wish me luck"
"Good luck" Randy waved her off.
"Bye guys" She bit her lip nervously before going out the door.
"Where is Cody? For god sake, he is ten minutes late!" Ted threw his hands up in frustration. "He has my ring attire, he is so irresponsible!" He paced back and forwards, checking his watch every thirty seconds.
"Maybe he went to NARNIA!" I said in hopes to cheer him up.
He replied, "HE WENT TO NARNIA WITHOUT US?" and got even more mad.
"Nice try" Becky laughed.
"I have arrived" Cody walked in, Ted practically tackled him.
"WHERE IS IT?"
"Where is what?"
"My ring attire woman!"
"First of all, I'm not a woman; do you see me in an apron?" Cody sniggered and threw a look in my direction; I waved my fist at him. "And second, I left it in my car"
"Useless" Ted sighed. "Baby, come with me to get it"
"Can we stop by to see Justin?" I asked hopefully.
"Yes"
"Awesome" I smiled, getting up; Randy shook his head at me. "What? Me and him are closer then close"
"Right, right, go on"
"I love you" I put my hands on his shoulders and leaned down where he was sitting to kiss him. He wrapped his hands around my neck and pulled me onto his lips.
"Randy" I giggled, pulling away from him.
"Where are you going?" He whined. "That was getting good!"
"I'm off to see my Justykins"
"Hey! I'm the only kins around here" Cody told me sternly.
"Didn't mean to offend you Codykins" I held my hands up. "Let's go Teddy weddy"
"Never call me that again baby" He scowled. We walked out of the locker room and had our usual pointless conversations. "So my plan is to get drunk Monday, pass out Tuesday and wake up on Wednesday" He told me.
"Who the hell passes out for a whole day? The day after they've been drinking!"
"It's a joke baby"
"I still think it's a valid point" I told him, grinning like a smart ass. "So Theodore, tell me a story"
"I'll tell you one what happened when I was sixteen, my girlfriend of five months told me she was pregnant, apparently she stopped taking her pill two months before because 'we' wanted a baby, I didn't recall ever having that discussion with her" Ted pinched the bridge of his nose and shook his head.
"What? So you have a kid?"
"No, it wasn't mine"
"Did you have a test?"
"Nah, what we did you can't get pregnant by so I found out after!"
"What about her using protection?" I asked in confusion.
"I didn't listen in health ok? Stopping bullying me"
"I wasn't, I was merely…"
"Shhh! God! Your so short"
"Now that was uncalled for Theodore, I don't talk about your…." I starred at him, trying to find a flaw; he smirked when he noticed I couldn't find any. "Shut up"
Ted smirked even more and swung Cody's car keys in his hands, he then looked at them more. "Joy ride dude?"
"Only if I can drive!" I lunged for they keys, but Ted pulled them out of my reach.
"Why do women need to drive?" Ted scoffed. "There isn't a road between the bedroom and the kitchen" Ted started to laugh at my reaction, but stopped when Michelle McCool walked by, swaying her hips; he turned his head and checked her out. "Damn… I'd tap that"
"Come on Ted" I tried to pull him away, but he just licked his lips. "You horny bastard keep it in your pants!"
"It's been 2 days Mickie!"
Sheamus then walked past, I nodded coolly at him. "Now I'd tap that!"
"Oh yeah, me too…" I widened my eyes at Ted. "Awkward…" He said, I nodded in agreement.
We walked for five minutes before reaching Cody's car, I rested against the bonnet as Ted went in for his ring attire, that's when I saw Melina parking her car. Oh shit.
"Ted!" I yelled. "C'mon lets go!"
"What's the rushing?" He got out. I grabbed his arm. "Whoa! Hold up!"
"I want to see Justin! Let's go"
"He isn't going anywhere baby" Ted chuckled, putting the bag on his arm. He then stopped and looked at me. "What are you up to?" He asked suspiciously. "Why are you so nervous?"
"I always get this way before seeing Justin" I lied, shifting my eyes over to Melina.
Ted titled his head and followed my gaze, he turned around, he didn't say anything, but I knew he had spotted Melina. Luckily, she didn't spot us, locked her car and walked inside. Ted watched her go, I walked round so I was now in front of him, he had that same look on his face that he did when they first broke up. I put my hand on his arm and rubbed up and down. "You okay?" I asked softly.
He didn't say anything for a moment, just watched. "I don't think…I don't think I'll ever get over her" He said softly, locking Cody's car and going off in the opposite direction. I sighed and watched him go, I knew he needed time to take it in.
Becky's P.O.V
"We need to go back." I said, pushing Cody away.
"No we don't."
"Yes we do."
"No we don't."
"Yes we do."
"No w-"
I kissed him, "We can have this argument all day but we both know that I'll win eventually, so come on, let's find the others." He looked as if he was about to argue before he considered this and nodded. I laughed and we began making our way to the locker room, which is where we had last seen the others.
We pushed open the door where Mandy and Randy were lounging about, simply talking. Cody swallowed but that was the only sign of worry that he showed. "Hi guys." He said loudly.
"Where've you been?" Randy asked.
Neither of us said anything and he grimaced but Mandy just laughed, "Has it missed your attention that they're adults? Randy, you are soo immature." She teased and then gently nudged him with her shoulder and he grinned in reply.
"Oh yeah, especially since-"
At that moment, Ted stormed in, waving a bottle around, "Meeelina!" Then he started mumbling incoherently.
"Ted?" Cody asked warily.
"You know what, screw it!" He yelled and downed practically half the bottle in one gulp. We watched him, amazed. "Does anyone want a sip? I've got more!"
"Don't you think you've had enough?" I suggested carefully, "Why are you drinking anyway?"
"Because of dear Melina!" Ted said in a choked voice, "Amanda? Randal?"
"I've finished my match… why not?" Randy nodded, which surprised me. Ted, out of nowhere, produced a couple more bottles. "Mands?"
Mandy glanced at him before nodding, "Sure, I've finished too. Why not?"
Ted handed some to them before spun around to Cody and I, "Codykins? Rebecca?"
"I'll pass." Cody said, watching him sternly.
"Me too." I agreed.
Ted snorted, "Spoilsports." He stumbled towards us and pointed at me darkly, "Tis all your fault, y'know?"
"Me?"
Ted frowned and tapped me on the nose, "Yesh. If you hadn't seduced me that night then Melina and I would never have broken up!"
I raised my eyebrows, "Ted, you were the one who told me that Cody didn't like me because I didn't have enough 'wrestler experience', so you would willing teach me how."
"Dude." Cody said with his face screwed up.
"Yoooou were the fooool who fell for it!" Ted slurred.
"Only because you came up with that drinking game!"
"That was a great drinking game!"
"What drinking game?" Cody asked curiously but still looking grossed out.
"We had to drink every time one us blinked." I rolled my eyes.
"Great game. It has worked marviously with girls before."
"Marviously isn't a word!"
"Well, I still namaged to get you, didn't I?" Before I could reply, Ted jumped up onto one of the benches and screamed, "Gedies and lantlemen! For one night and for one night only, it is the most amazing stripped in the world!"
Randy and Mandy, who had been downing their drinks quickly before cheered and Randy began chanting something that sounded suspiciously like 'off, off, off'.
"Oh god." Cody groaned.
Ted began singing the stripper tune and pulled at his zip but then frowned, "Dos this thingie go up or down?"
"Ted, maybe you should-" I began to suggest.
My words seemed to remind Ted of our presence. Ted's head snapped up and his eyes widened, as if he was seeing me for the first time. I knew what was coming from the way that he looked at me. "M-M-Melina?" He squeaked.
"No. Ted, I was speaking to you about three seconds ago!" I groaned but Ted lunged at me, his arms out wide.
"You came back for me!"
He suddenly jumped on me and I would've crashed to the ground if Cody hadn't quickly grabbed me. "Ted! Why have you been drinking?"
"Meliinaaaaaaa!" Ted cried.
"Go and get Mickie or something!" I yelled.
Cody looked worried, "Are you sure you want to be alone with them…?"
"I'll deal with it for now." I told him through gritted teeth as Ted pulled on my hand continuously.
"C'mon baby, let's go and get married! Melina! Oh Melina!"
Mickie's P.O.V
I started to make my way to Justin's locker room, he was standing outside, texting.
"Hey, looking good" I said to him as I walked past him, he just grunted at me, I stopped at this.
"What?" He snapped.
"I was just complimenting you Justin! Can't friends or…fuck buddies give compliments out to each other?" He rolled his eyes which was his usual reaction to me. "So I heard the good news, congrats man! This calls for a man hug" I rushed to grab his hand, but he pulled it out of my reach.
"What the fuck are you on about?"
"Superstar of the day Justin!" I poked at his sides. "I knew you had it in you man! You have potential, you have some serious potential my friend!"
"There you are" Both me and Justin's head turned to David Otunga coming down the corridor. "Oh Mickie, didn't see you there, how you doing girl?" He asked pulling me into a man hug.
"David! What's up? Looking good"
"Oh cheers, you too, baby bump is coming out now isn't it" He chuckled, I laughed too, Justin just looked between us looking so confused.
"You…you know her?" He asked in shock.
"Yeah, me and Jenifer were looking over some baby clothes and we found Mickie there and we got talking" David shrugged sending me a smile.
"You have got to be kidding me" Justin muttered shaking his head.
"How's the wife?" I asked David ignoring Justin.
"She's good, she sends her love"
"Oh that's nice of her, send mine back"
"Will do"
"Mickie, Mickie!" Cody yelled, running over to me, slightly out of breath. "You need to come back to the locker room"
"Why?"
"Ted, Randy and Mandy" He tried to catch his breath. "They are drunk"
"What?" I asked confused. "Your not serious are you? Not here"
"Ted came back with a bottle, yelling something about Melina, Randy had just had his match and said why not, Mandy had finished her work and said why not too"
"Who is with them now?" I asked frustrated, I pulled him away from Justin and David.
"Becky, but we better get back before she decides to kill Ted"
"I don't believe this" I walked speedily along side Cody. I can understand why Ted wanted to get drunk, but why did Randy and Mandy? I scanned the room when we walked in. Mandy and Randy were giggling on the couch, Ted was attached to Becky's leg.
"Don't leave me Melina!" He cried. She tried to shake him off.
"For god sake Ted, you do this every fucking time, I'm not Melina!" She yelled, smacking his head. "Why? Why does he do this to me? Every fucking time!"
"I can, I can, I can change!" He started punching the ground. "I'll even change my under more then three times a week!"
"That is disgusting! Can't you get the real Melina in here?" Becky tried pleading with us.
"He will just drive her away" Cody told her and I agreed. "Look I'll sort Ted out, you go see Randy and Mandy"
"Mel-INA" Ted grabbed Becky's hand, her nostrils flared. "Before you make a decision, I think you should hear this…" Ted cleared his throat. "You don't have to say you love me…just stay close at hand" He sang softly. "YOU DON'T HAVE TO STAY FOREVER, I WILL UNDERSTAND" He then screamed, before bursting out into sobs. "I can't help but love you" Cody tried to drag Ted off Becky, but Ted struggled. "He is trying to come between me and my woman and I will not stand for this!"
I wish it was the opposite, Randy annoys the hell out of me when he is drunk, I walked towards the couch and looked down at him. He looked up from his giggle and saw me, he tried to stand up, but lost balance, nearly falling on top of me. "Alright gorgeous?" I leaned out from him, his breath was disgusting!
"I'M GOING TO KILL HIM!" I turned to see Cody holding Becky back from Ted. "LET ME GO! DID YOU NOT SEE WHERE HE TOUCHED ME?"
"I'll punch him when he is sober, calm down!" Cody yelled at her, throwing her to the side, not roughly, but just so she was away from Ted. She charged right back at him.
"NO!" Ted screamed. "Think of my children!"
"YOU DON'T HAVE CHILDREN"
"Someday I might" Ted hung his head down low, before standing up. "With Melina…." He sang. "With Melina…." He sang louder and much more out of tune. "With MELINA…." The last thing I saw was Becky grabbed Ted by his shirt.
"Babe" I looked back at Randy. "Do you know Amanda?" Unfortunately. "Well I have a secret about Amanda"
"Randy" Becky dropped Ted and ran over to him. "Let's get you…"
"No" I told her. "Let him speak"
"Mickie…"
"No I want to hear, go on Randy"
"Thank you babe, WELL I -"
"WITH MELINA…." Ted jumped in front of all of us, wanting the attention again.
"Let me handle this" I told Becky and Cody. "Ted, go play with your dick"
"I can do that" Ted replied, leaving the group.
"Go on Randy"
"Do you remember when…when…when…"
"When what?" I snapped.
"Alright, alright babes…." He looked over at Mandy. "Pregnancy hormones" She just giggled at this, I rolled my eyes. "When I kissed that girl, when we were fighting? Well that was, that was, that was…"
"ME!" Mandy yelled and collapsed into giggles.

"You alright man?" Cody asked Randy, passing him a cup of coffee.
"No, I'm not fucking alright, I have a killer hang over and I don't have a clue where my pissed off, pregnant fiancé is" Randy yelled in response back at Cody. After it was reveal that Mandy was the girl who Randy had kissed when drunk, Mickie had taken off, it was the morning after and no one had seen her since.
