How Taking Down Legacy Failed

Mickie's P.O.V

I knocked at the door and waited for a response. Heath answered the door, he smirked seeing me. "Justin will be happy you're here" He chuckled.

"Especially on his birthday!" I beamed, stepping into the room. Guess Justin was no longer with or sharing a room with the G-lady who's name always slips me. I needed to bother Justin, I needed to have some fun and I could miss his birthday!

"Did you get him a present?" Heath asked me.

"Pff" I scoffed, Heath looked at me weirdly. "I am his present"

He laughed. "Justin, there is someone here to see you!" Heath called out. He leaned against the wall and crossed his arms.

I breathed onto my hand and checked my breath. I smoothed my hair back as Justin stepped out of the bathroom. "Oh god" He groaned. "Why did you let her in?"

"Justy! That's not very nice! Especially when I brought you a present!" I grinned pulling a gift out of my bag. "But first…." I walked up to him, he starred at me suspiciously. "BIRTHDAY BEATS!" I raised my fists and started punching Justin's arm. "1...2...3.…" Justin grabbed my fist and shoved me away, I tried to go back towards him, he blocked my punches. "I only did three! You're thirty! I need to do twenty seven more!"

"No." He held my fists. I let out a giggle. "What?"

"We're holding hands" He let go. "Oh…" I said sadly. "Anyway! Onto the gift!" I shoved it in his hands. "Go on! Open it!" Justin didn't trust it, but opened it anyway. It opened up to be a black t-shirt with a picture of me and him on it and best buddies written on top of the photo. He looked up and glared. "Don't you just love it!"

"Yeah…" He said sarcastically. "You can go now"

"Oh… I thought….you know I should stick around…make your special day perfect"

"I repeat….why did you let her in?" Justin asked an amused looking Heath.

"Because Heath cool like that" I turned to look at Heath. "So damn cool" I turned back to Justin. "I hope the shirt is the right size, I expect you to wear it on Raw by the way, it can be like….your new wrestling t-shirt"

Justin shook his head. "You can go now"

"Wow….I thought so hard about what present to get you and all you can say is….you can go now, ouch Justy, ouch"

"Mickie" He growled.

"Oh Justy" I growled back seductively. He grabbed me by the arm and started pulling me towards the door. "If you wanted it rough all you had to do is say…." He pushed me outside. "Hey, I thought we could-" Slam. Well that was fun whilst it lasted.

I returned back to our room, Cody was watching the television with Hayden on his lap, this made me smile, part of me imagine Randy doing that, it's then I remember all that has been going on. Randy was in the room too, he was just lounging around on the couch. Ted walked past me cursing under his breath. "What's up Teddy?" I asked following him into the small kitchen.

"Your boyfriend is what is up, he is taking being the leader of legacy way too far, got me making coffee for him, who does he think he is!" I opened my mouth to speak, but Ted cut me off. "And another thing, he has been ordering us to do things all day, it's like what Randy says, goes! He's constantly going, 'this doesn't mean we're friends, this doesn't mean I like you, he is making old Randy look like a flipping saint!"

"You know Theodore, you can always say no" I told him.

Ted shrugged. "Yeah, but you know what Randy's like baby, he will have my head if I say no"

"You shouldn't let him treat you like this"

"How does he treat you?" Ted asked me. "I mean, jackass Randy hates the idea of being in love"

"Well" I thought for a moment. "He treats me the nicest jackass Randy can be sometimes, other times, he is complete prick"

"Ah" He said awkwardly, knowing that it was a sensitive topic. "How is motherhood treating you?" He continued.

"It's amazing how you could love something so much in such a small space of time, that doesn't even describe the half of it Ted" I smiled, looking over at Hayden. "I look at him and think I made him, he is a part of me" I then let out a sigh. "I just wish Randy was here to experience it with me, Hayden I think is the only thing keeping me sane right now" I didn't want to make Ted feel awkward so I tried to move the conversation along. "So how come your on coffee duty?"

"Because I wouldn't reveal anything about who the father of your baby is or where you were a moment ago, he branded me as 'useless' can you believe that baby?" Ted scoffed, shaking his head. "Look at my sexy body, I can think of plenty of use for it" He muttered angrily. "You know I should tell him where to stuff it" I laughed doubtfully at him, as if Ted would have the guts to do that. He raised a brow. "You don't believe I can do it?"

"It's not that I don't believe you can…oh who am I kidding? Ted you get creeped out when the oompa loompas come on" I responded.

"Facing Randy? Seriously? I survived your hormonal mood swings, Cody's rage, Becky's wrath and my mom fury! BRING HIM ON!" Ted started punching the air to make it look like he was preparing.

"Go on then" I encouraged.

"I can't"

"Why?"

"I'm scared"

"Oh Ted" I shook my head. I looked over at Hayden, Cody and Randy. "I miss him so much Ted, it's hard to believe I'm starring right at him and it's not actually him"

"I know baby, I know" Ted put his arm around me. "He'll come back to you Mickie, you just got to be patient"

"Hope your right"

"I'm always right" Ted grinned, picking up Randy's coffee, he went to go give it to him, but he just tripped after making two steps, dropping the coffee, I sniggered as Ted sighed. He then looked at me, the ground, then back at me. "What a stupid place to put your foot"

"Oh, whoops" I said to him innocently. "To be honest Theodore, you should be more careful next time" I patted his head.

"To be honest baby, girls just shouldn't come out of the kitchen"

"Ted, you're a better cook then I am, you spend more time in the kitchen then I do, I don't think your sexist theory is right in our situation" I told him, putting some toast on for myself.

"You're just a failure of a woman, don't blame my sexist theory"

I glared at Ted. "Your annoying, go stand over there"

"Am I sexily annoying?"

"No, just annoying"

"Hey, Hayden was watching that!" Cody voice went from yelling to more of less confident tone to Randy as he switched over the television.

"He's like what? Four days old" Randy said sarcastically rolling his eyes, rushing to turn back the TV. "Ted" He snapped. "Coffee?"

"It's not done yet" Ted replied.

"It's not done?" Randy scoffed, starring at Ted as if he were just dirt on his shoe. I just wanted to shake the asshole Randy out of him, it's hard ever to see the good Randy in him when he acts like this. "I told you t-"

"That's enough" I told him sternly. Randy got up and faced me.

"What did you say?" It didn't sound questioning, it sounded more warningly, like think carefully what you're going to say here. I guess I didn't get the special treatment after all.

"I said that's enough" I put a little more bravery into my voice, showing him that I wasn't afraid and I was not going to back down. "You need to back off, alright?"

"I don't take orders from anyone, much less a diva" Randy hissed at me.

"You've made it clear that they are not your friends, but they are certainly not your servants" I'm quite proud of that. "You want coffee? Then get off your ass and get it yourself and if you're going to keep singing the same old asshole song, Orton, then you should just get out of our way because we don't want to hear it"

"And what if I don't?" he said, leaning forward, his voice a seductive whisper.

"You were actually alright yesterday, what happened?" I hissed at him quietly. The evil glint in his eye did not go away. I sighed and looked past him. "You've had your fun, just go" I made a move to rush past him, but he caught me, stopping me in my tracks and guiding my back against the wall. I looked to see Ted and Cody get up to help, but I gave them a look not too, they hesitated, but soon nodded and left the room.

Randy's P.O.V

Every time, she shocked me more and more when she stood up to me. She certainly wasn't afraid of me like the others, why is that? I was about to respond to the diva, when suddenly she grew really pale, the next thing her eyes rolled back and I knew what was going to happen next. I caught her, right before she hit the ground, my hand slithered around her waist and I held her in my arms. For a moment, I didn't do anything but stare at her, she was so beautiful, Cody and Ted came back into the room, Cody stepped forwards, but my arm fended him off. "Just get help" I snapped at him, not wanting him to be near her or to touch her. Great, now I have to add protective to the list of things I am with her. I looked down at her and realised that I was holding her, I was doing what I had been having the urges to do for a long time, being this close to her, it just felt right.

"Randy" Ted put his hand on my shoulder, I jerked my shoulder away. "We need to get her to the hospital"

"I'll carry her" I told him sharply, he just nodded. "You take the kid" I lifted her up, once again I just noticed how good it felt to have her in my arms, I liked the feeling. I didn't want to become dependent on anyone, I certainly didn't want to become dependent on a diva. I carried her out the door, she looked so cosy in my arms, her hand rest on my abs, her soft hand, I had to keep pulling down her rode up skirt, I didn't want anyone but me to see her.

A few hours later

I stood right next to the room the diva was being seen in. I kept checking my watch, what was taking so long? I had to wait another ten minutes till the doctor actually came out to see us. "What's wrong? What's wrong with her?"

"She's ok Mr Orton, your wife can go home" The doctor replied smiling.

"She's n-" I closed my mouth, why couldn't I correct him? "What's wrong with her?"

"When she gave her birth, she lost a lot of blood and they had to stitch her up, the stitches just came undone and the loss of blood caused her to faith, we've stitched her back up, just make sure she takes it easy" I sighed with relief, the doctor nodded his head and walked past us. I was smiling…that was very rare…very rare for me. I noticed Dibiase grinning at me. "What?" I snapped.

"Nothing" He was still grinning at me, I rolled my eyes, I walked into the diva's hospital room, she was up and brushing herself down.

"How are you feeling?" Runnels asked her.

"Better" She replied, her eyes flickered up to me, did she remember our fight? "Where's Hayden?" She spoke.

"The little guy is here" Dibiase then entered the room with Hayden in his arms. "Snug as a rug"

"Hello handsome" Mickie smiled as she pulled Hayden close to her chest.

"We should go" I said.

"Yeah" Mickie replied starring at me. "I'm really tired"

I trailed behind Mickie and Hayden, watching over her, we got to the car, Cody and Ted sat in the front, I sat in the back with the diva and the kid. Mickie put Hayden in his car seat, she sat in the middle and I sat on her side. It wasn't three minutes into the car seat, I noticed the diva had closed her eyes, I watched as her body leaned towards me, I let her head rest of my chest, I looked up and made sure Cody and Ted were not looking, before I wrapped my arm around her waist, pulling her closer into me. As we parked, she was still asleep. "I'll carry her up" I told them, not even waiting around to see if they were following or not, I just kept going. Part of me wanted to kick them all out, so it would just be me and her. I couldn't believe this was me thinking like this, it's disgusting the effect she's having on me and for why this all happened suddenly.

I gently laid her on her bed, she stirred a little when she was released from my arms. I bit my lip as I watched her body move about on the bed. "You have got to be kidding me" I groaned quietly as my pants tightened. Her skirt was riding up her legs, I had to get out of here before I wanted tempted to do something I would regret.

I leaned against her door and sighed stressfully. "Bad day?" I looked up to see Mandy was in our lounge.

"Let me guess, you work at the WWE too"

"Yep, yep…I heard about your accident, so you don't remember much?"

"Apparently not" I shrugged her off.

"That Mickie's room?" She asked, I turned to look at her curiously.

"Why?"

"Just wondering" I didn't like what she was doing, she was holding back from me. "You like her?" I didn't answer her, I could lie, but Mandy knows me too well to know when I'm lying. I could face anyone and say that the diva means nothing to me and they wouldn't have any reason to doubt it, but Mandy would know. "From what I hear, you're pretty fond of her"

"What have you heard?" I said in more of a demand.

"You're getting pretty defensive over her" I knew she was teasing, but it was really pissing me off. "No point trying to lie to me Randall, I can see right through her, you love her"

"Love?" I scoffed, more like chocked. There was no way I could love the diva, just no way. "This is me you're talking to"

"It's not like you haven't been in love before" She was referring to the time me and her dated.

"That was then, this is now" I told her, she smirked at me tauntingly. "The last thing I need right now is a distraction, like her"

"You won't be able to fight off your feelings forever, you know Randall" She drawled and unfortunately, I knew she was right.

How much longer will Randy be able to resist his feelings!

He was only holding me with one hand, resting on my lower back, my chest up against his, I was simply giving into the temptation. "Not putting much of a fight now, are you?" He whispered, gazing down at my lips. "Neither am I" He breathed out. The corner of his lips, twitched into a smile, enjoying my writhing beneath his touch.
