How Taking Down Legacy Failed

"Morning" I heard as my eyes fluttered open, Randy was sitting up and Hayden was lying between us. I'm not going to lie; it was the best sight I had ever seen. This is how it should have been.
"Morning" I replied, stretching out. "What's Hayden doing here?" I asked Randy, as I let Hayden wrapped his hand around my finger. I kissed his hand and gave him a big smile, he was so beautiful, I could not get used to the fact that this was my son.
"He was stirring so I brought him over" Randy yawned. "He wanted to be close to his mom I guess" And his father. "So what weird plans have you got for us today?" He asked with an amused look on his face.
"Yesterday was not weird" I scoffed like it was completely rubbish he was talking about.
"We went to a hospital and then a karaoke bar…" He pointed out.
"It was just different" I protested. "Not weird"
"Right…" He laid back down and turned on his side. I picked up Hayden and placed him on my lap.
"Are you hungry?" I cooed at him. Hayden leaned back into me and kicked his legs, I smiled, so cute! "You don't get on with Ted and Cody much, do you?" I said to Randy, he turned to face me.
"Why?" He asked suspiciously.
"I just wondered why" I told him innocently.
"They just aren't my type of people" He shrugged, my eyes narrowed onto him. Not his type of people? W
"Your type of people?" I repeated in disgust. "What people who are nice and like to have a good time?"
"Where the fuck is this coming from?"
"Sh! Hayden is here" I shushed him, pulling Hayden closer to me. I had to remind myself of all that was happening, I was angry because I had the best dream that I was with my Randy and to wake up to this one, I guess I was looking for an excuse to yell at him, for what he is not. "Look I'm sorry, I'm not a morning person"
"So I've noticed" He rolled his eyes and left the room. I sighed and laid back, why did I just do that?
Later
"What? How can I not be his type of person? I'm everybody's type of person! I'm especially the ladies type… but I suppose guys envy me for that…ok I can see why he doesn't like me, he doesn't like having competition, so then why doesn't he like Cody? I mean, look at him, he isn't much competition, compared to me, I mean come on, look at this ass, is this not the firmest ass you've ever.."
"Theodore! This isn't the point! The point is, I'm afraid I'm going to be like this from now, I'm going to keep looking for excuses to yell at him, just because I'm mad that he took over my Randy's body!"
"That's easy, just stop yourself from saying anything or maybe he will start blocking you out like I do"
"What?"
"What! You say something?" Ted said covering himself up.
I glared at him for a moment, but decided to ignore it "Easier said then done Theodore" I sighed. "I still have a lot more ideas to help him remember, but I think last night he realised there is something going on"
"Did he say something?"
"Yeah, he did, I'm just going to have to be sneakier"
"So what's your next plan?" Ted asked me just as there was a knock at the door.
"Well something happened ages ago that was hilarious, it might make him remember, but I don't think your going to like it" I said to him, grinning evilly.
"Who is that?" Ted asked suspiciously to the knock at the door.
"Someone you know very well"
"Is it Melina?" He smiled.
"No." His smile dropped.
"Then who?" I opened the door, Ted's eyes widened. "No….it can't be"
"Just when I thought you couldn't get any uglier"
"Megan" Ted spat. "We meet again"
Remember Megan? Cody's cousin's daughter? The one who HATED Ted. Cody had told me this morning that he needed to baby sit her and I had been excited ever since. It took me week to get over how she treated Ted, it was the funniest thing I had ever seen. "Is that Hayden?" It's lucky she was nice to me! "He is so cute!" She then turned to Ted. "I bet you were an ugly baby"
"Actually you little brat, I was a gorge-"
"Shut it bitch!" She yelled at him, his eye twitched.
"That's it, I'm leaving" Ted threw his hands up and went for the door.
Cody grabbed his shoulder. "If I had to do karaoke, you have to put up with this"
"But I don't like her" Ted whinged.
"I can hear you butt face" Megan spat.
"I don't care, you bald rat" Ted spat back. "Yeah, yeah, one hundred percent completely owned!" Ted grinned in victory.
"If your going to smile at least consult your dentist first" Megan sneered at him. Ted rushed to the mirror to check out his teeth.
"What are you on about? I have a dashing smile!"
"Oi! What have we said about using my term 'Dashing'" Cody glared over at him.
Randy walked in, his eyes flicked over to Megan. "Who's the kid?" He asked me.
"Cody's cousin's daughter, he is looking after her for the day, she hates Ted" I told him.
"Is this Hayden's?" Megan asked me picking up doctor Dibiase. I nodded. She smiled evilly, turned to Ted who was talking to Cody and threw it at the back of his head.
"OW! What the hell?" He turned around and his eyes darkened when he saw Megan smirking. He took an angry step towards Megan, Cody ran and pushed him back.
"Ted, how are you ever going to get a girlfriend when you're so mean to kids ay?" Cody asked him, trying to keep him from killing Megan.
Megan scoffed. "I think the better question is how are you ever going to get a girlfriend when you're so ugly?"
"Err look at me, it's not like I get trouble getting dates" Ted scoffed. "What about you, you little monster, you ever had a boyfriend? Huh, huh?"
"Oh go fuck yourself" She hissed, stamping on his foot.
"Oi! Watch your language or I'm going to tell your parents you failed abortion"
"Ted" Cody gasped.
"What? We were ALL thinking it, I'm the only one to say it" Ted shrugged not understanding what he had done was so wrong.
"Megan, where did you learn that word from? You shouldn't use it" Cody told her.
She then smiled evilly. "Ted taught it to me"
"WHAT! I don't believe what I am hearing, she is lying! Demon child, demon child!"
"Megan, swearing at people, hurts people's feelings" Cody said to her. "You hurt Ted's feelings"
"Oh man up" She rolled her eyes at Ted. "What?" She snapped at him after he was glaring at her. "Have you got chicken spots or something or are you just pimply?"
"Never hit a child, never hit a child" Ted repeated to himself. "Deep breaths Theodore, deep breaths"
"Theodore? What a stupid name"
"What kind of name is Megan?" Ted scoffed. "Go take a time out kid!"
She looked at Ted with a very angry face and then shouted "AVADA KADAVRA!"
Ted looked at her in shock. "S-she tried to use the unforgivable curse on me!"
"Wow, I don't think Ted's ever going to wants kids" Randy whispered to me. "Don't let your son turn out like her"
"My Hayden is going to be a good boy" I replied back to him.
"Do you think he will be like his father?" Randy asked stroking my thigh. "You don't talk about him"
"No, I don't" I simply replied.
I had no idea what Ted had just said, but Megan looked angry, we just watched as she got angrier and began hitting Ted. "Stop it! Use words, not fists!" He yelled out. She then began telling Ted how much she hated him and that he should die and never come back.
"Oh Ted! You woke Hayden" I scowled.
"I'm sorry my screaming in pain woke your lazy non-stop sleeping son!" He hissed at me, holding his foot trying to push Megan away from him.
"Let's take you away from the noise baby" I picked him up and moved him back into his cot in my room. Randy followed me in.
"That kid is doing my head in" Randy laid down on my bed.
"Apparently she was doing Hayden's in too" I smiled down at him. I kissed Hayden's forehead and sat on the end of the bed.
"Are you ever going to talk to me about Hayden's father?" He asked me. I closed my eyes I really wish he would stop asking. "What did he do that was so bad?"
"I just don't like talking about it" I told him hoping that he would just take the hint and shut up.
"What did he do that is so bad you can't even talk about it? None of you lot will"
My eyes widened "You've asked the others?"
"I had to, you keep shutting me out whenever I bring it up" His voice raised a little. "But they all say they can't talk about it, what was so bad that he did? Did he just get up and leave you and Hayden?"
"I guess you could say that" I mumbled.
"What?"
"I don't shut you out, I just don't want to talk about it, why is that so hard for you to understand?" I asked him putting my hands on my hips.
"If I'm going to do the whole dating thing, I want to know more about the woman I'm supposedly dating, but it feels like you've got too many secrets that you can't tell me about" The way he was speaking, it was like he had thought a lot about it all.
"Please, I don't want to fight" I told him. "Especially not in front of ou- my son"
"I don't want to either, but sometimes I just don't know where I am with you, I'm not used to all this, maybe this is how a normal girlfriend, boyfriend relationship is"
"Why didn't you want to have one…I mean like before" I asked him.
"Why should I answer any of your questions, when you don't answer any of mine?" He replied, I just stood there and starred back at him, he sighed. "I just don't like the idea of becoming dependent on someone"
"I'm sorry" I told him.
"For what?"
"For making you feel like I'm keeping secrets, I don't want you to feel that way"
"I just want to know more about you, I don't want to be kept at arms length, I want to be closer to you" His hand went to my knee, he moved it up, brushing my thigh, going higher and higher. He kissed me and tried to lay me back, but I didn't budge.
"Randy" He pulled away. "I just don't want to do that, not yet anyway and err… not in front of my son"
"Forgot he was there" He sighed. "I won't hurt you Mickie…."
"I know you won't, I just want to wait a little longer, I'll be right back" I got up and went into the living room to see Megan was still giving Ted a hard time.
"I am not a clown! I am not here for your amusement!"
"Megan hates clowns, they scare her" Cody pointed out.
"No I'm not!" Megan scowled at Cody.
"Don't lie, yes you are"
"Really?" Ted smirked. "I'll be right back…." He then left the room.
10 minutes later
There was a knock at the door, I was resting into Randy and peered over his shoulder to see who it was. "What the-" I heard Cody say before….a clown walked into the room.
"Oh my god" I stood up and backed away.
"What's wrong?" Randy asked me, standing up and stepping towards me.
"Don't like it" I told him, shaking my head and backing away.
"Don't like what?" I pointed at the clown, he turned around and cocked up his brow. "I thought you said this was the end for the weird stuff" He said to me.
"It's not me"
"Are you…." He stopped and his mouth tugged into a smile. "Are you afraid of clowns?"
"No!"
"BOOGA BOOGA BOOGA" The clown screamed at Megan who started screaming.
"Ok maybe a little" I gripped onto Randy's shirt. He smiled and put his arm around my waist.
"That's cute" He whispered in my ear. "You don't need to be afraid, it's just Ted…."
"What?"
"It's Ted…."
"Ted?"
The clown who turned out to be Ted turned to me. "Hey baby"
"Ted?" Megan growled angrily.
"You should have seen your face you little brat" Ted laughed.
Megan's face went red….but not from embarrassment. "AHHHHHH" She screamed at Ted and jumped on him and started punching him.
"GET HER OFF ME! GET HER OFF ME!" Ted screamed.
"Ok, I think it's about time I took you back" Cody said as he tried to drag Megan off Ted.
"I'MA KILL HIM, I'MA KILL HIM"
"It's I'm going to kill him, go back to school little girl!"
"GRRRRRR"
"That kid needs anger management" Ted said jumping up and brushing himself down.
"I'm going to get your coat, if you touch Ted again, I am telling your mom everything" Cody warned her and left the room.
She looked at Ted. "You can't touch me….you can't touch me, I know you want to, but you can't touch me" Ted sang to her.
"Ted….I'm going to slit your throat tonight"
"Err what?" Ted looked freaked.
"While your sleeping" Me and Randy exchanged glances.
"Why would you do that?" Ted said looking horrified.
"Because I don't like you." She told him. "I'm going to cut open your chest and wear your organs as a scarf"
"I'd never let you do that"
"Yeah? Well I'm going to….tonight" Ted still remained horrified at this situation. "You know what else I'm going to do? I'm going to cut off your feet"
"Oh very mature" Ted told her.
"And I'm going to iron your ears"
"Your wasting your time, this is not going to happen, a better idea would be to just buy a normal scarf"
"Here you go" Cody said giving Megan her coat. "Oh dammit, I forgot your bag" He said leaving the room again.
"No Cody!" Ted yelled after him. "Don't leave me alone with her! She's crazy!" Ted turned back to Megan who was holding a Barbie doll, she then ripped the Barbie's head off, Ted's jaw fell open.
"Here it is" Cody said coming back. "Let's go"
"See you tonight….Ted" She hissed as she walked past him.
Ted waited till the door slammed, he then turned to me and Randy. "You guys saw that right? That counts as a death threat, I am calling the police"
"Ted…." I said, too afraid to step near him. I hid behind Randy a bit who chuckled. "Aren't you afraid of clowns?"
"What's your point?" He asked me, he then looked in the mirror and screamed. "IT'S GOT ME! GET IT OFF ME! GET IT OFF ME!" He started screaming.
"Oh my god…." I said, Randy just shook his head. Ted ran into his room to get it off. "I'm sorry, I'm convincing you that I'm exactly normal"
He shrugged. "Normal is overreacted anyway"
"So, it's your birthday coming up" He shrugged again. "Don't you want to do something for it?" I asked. "We could all go out for a meal"
"Why don't we just go out for a meal? You and me"
"Are you sure?" I asked him, he nodded. "Ok" I replied, not knowing what else to say.
"I'm just going to get changed" He said to me, he kissed cupped my face and roughly kissed my lips, he wasn't gentle like my Randy.
"I'll be in, in a minute" I told him.
Randy went in our room, Ted came out of his without the clown look this time. "f I see her again… I'm going to kick her in the face …. thank god that's over, I hope you appreciate what I did for you today baby"
"Oh I do Theodore" I grinned. "Didn't make Randy remember anything"
"Oh that's too ba-" Ted froze. "Wait a minute, Randy didn't hang around us when Megan was here…."
"Oh really? Oh yeah…so your right"
"You knew!"
"I don't know what your talking about" I turned so he wouldn't see the evil grin I couldn't get off my face.
"You know damn right woman! You bitch! Why did you make me suffer that torture?"
"I needed some cheering up" I smirked. "Cheers Ted, I had a good day" I slapped his back.
