How Taking Down Legacy Failed

Mickie's P.O.V

"Babe" Randy murmured into my ear. "As much as I love being in bed with you, it's been two days, it's not good for us to stay in here, nor is it for Hayden" I snuggled closer into his chest, I couldn't hold onto him tightly enough. It's true, we had been in here for two days straight, but I wasn't ready to face the world again, I didn't want to face the world, I just wanted it to be me, Randy and Hayden, just like it always should have been. I just wanted to be with him, no one else. I turned so we were now face to face, he stared down at me, I planted a kiss on his shoulder before looking at him.

"I know" I whispered. "I just-" I shrugged and didn't know how to finish that. "I don't want anything to come between our family again" I told him. He reached out his hands and cupped my face.

"It won't" He kissed me softly. "I love you"

"It's about time you said it" I chuckled softly. "You refused to say it to me before"

Randy shook his head. "I want to kill the guy…" Lying back down on his back. "I can't believe I forgot my own son"

"Yeah, you are a bit of an idiot" I grinned, he pretended to be offended, he put his arm around my waist and pulled me on top of him.

"Now that your not pregnant, I can be as rough with you as I please" He licked his lips and arched his hips.

"Oh kinky" I teased.

"You have no idea" He smirked, rolling over so he was now on top of me. "We have a lot of catching up to do" I giggled as he planted kisses down my neck, "I wasn't there to see you lose your baby weight"

"It was strangely easy, there wasn't much of it, Hayden wasn't a big baby" I smiled looking at his cot where he slept soundlessly.

"You know, I will be willing to stay in bed for another day, if you agree to be naked through it"

I shoved him off me. "I forgot what a pervert you can be"

"I'm not a pervert, I'm your fiancé, I'm allowed to perve" He leaned on his arm facing me on the bed. "I can't wait to say I'm your husband, I'm allowed"

"Nor can I" I ran my hand down his cheek. "Hayden's here now so we can start planning"

"When do you want it?" He asked me, pulling my hand to his lips and kissing my knuckles.

"As soon as possible, I don't want anything to get in the way this time" I told him, getting up and going over to Hayden's cot.

"Nothing will" He said, giving me a last kiss on my lips before sliding the covers off his legs. "I'm going to head back down to the gym, prepare for Raw tomorrow"

"Raw? Your not going back to wrestling already are you?" I asked him, sitting up.

He reached over and put on his t-shirt. "I'm the champion, I have to go" He told me, he then paused. "Wait, I am still champion aren't I?" I nodded. "Good."

"What about the doctors? Didn't they say you had to wait?" I asked desperately. I didn't want him to wrestle again, what if he hit his head and forgot all over again. I finally had him back, I don't want to lose him again.

"I've been cleared" He told me. "Stop trying to steal my protective title" Randy said, lifting me up by my waist. He kissed my lips and laid me back down, he walked over to Hayden's cot and picked him up. "Morning champ" I smiled watching them interact. "Want me to feed him before I go?"

"How about we both go with you?"

"What do I get in return?" He stroked his chin.

"Being in the company of me and your son" I took Hayden from him and sat him between my legs. "Just look at us, would you really not want us there?" I poked my bottom lip up.

The corners of his mouth tugged up into a smile. "Get dressed"

"Yey" I cheered, rushing into the bathroom. I got changed for the gym, did my hair and makeup and then came out to see Hayden on Randy's lap. I leaned against the door frame and just watched them, I was going to appreciate every minute with him now, I know what it was like being without him, I just so thankful he came back to me. Its hard now that I have him back, to think that it even happened. It just seems like a distant memory, that Randy never really left me, just like nothing happened. I'm just terrified that one smack to the head and he will go back to how he was. I just wanted to be with my boys.

"You ready?" Randy interrupted my thoughts, I nodded, he hoisted Hayden up and reached out his hand to me, which I accepted. "How come your not in your gym clothes?"

"I'm going to give it a miss today and just watch you" I told him as we walked out of the room.

"Well look what we had here! Willy wonka and his umpa loompas" Ted said coming out of his room, with a smug smirk on his face as if were proud of his insults.

"I'm the only one allowed to bully her" Randy told Ted sternly.

"Oh thanks Randall" I tutted.

"I love you babe" He put his free hand around my waist and pulled me into him.

"You just said you're going to bully her!" Ted pointed out.

"What's your point?" Randy asked him.

"You said you love her, but a second ago you were going to bully her!" Ted explained, Randy tilted his head to the side in confusion. "You're sending the poor girl mixed signals"

"Clearly she was fine with me bullying her and loving her all at the same time.. Until you came along" Randy replied, shifting Hayden a little.

"Maybe she was just putting on a brave face to show the bullies that they don't affect her.…Its ok baby, sticks and stones and all that!" Ted told me, patting my head, Randy shook his head and rolled his eyes.

"Right… can we go?"

"Gladly" Randy said, taking my hand.

"I love you Theodore!" I called after me dragged down the corridor by Ted.

"Stay strong baby!" Ted called back.

"Stay strong about what?" Randy asked in confusion.

"Your bullying ways" I teased. Randy stopped, I got tugged backwards as I kept walking not realising. "What?" I asked him. He had a playful smirk on his face. He tugged my hand and pushed me up against the wall, he leaned his free hand by the side of my head.

"How about I show you how much of a bully, I can really be?" He raised his brows.

"Not a good example for our son" I said innocently, putting my hands on his chest and pushing him back. He pulled me back to the same the walking pace as him, leaving his hand round my waist. The gym was not packed, but not empty either. Randy took his spot on one of the machines. I sat on one of the chairs there. Randy passed Hayden to me and I settled him down on my lap. "So c'mon snake boy, let me see some abs"

He winked at me before pulling off his Orton t-shirt. "Now you've seen mine, I think it's only fair I see some of yours"

"Well that really wasn't part of the deal" Randy smirked and stepped towards me. "Don't you have some working out to do?"

"How about later?" He placed his hand on my hip.

"Like I said, it wasn't part of the deal! You volunteer to show your extremely hot body" I said running my finger down his abs. "Speaking of hot bodies, Justin is over there, I'll be right back"

I only got to take two steps before Randy pulled me back. "You're here to watch me, not Gabriel" He spat in Justin's direction.

"I have some business to finish with him, I'll be right back" I tip toed up and kissed his cheek. I walked over to where Justin was, he was David Otunga.

"You alright Mickie?" David asked over Justin's shoulder. I heard Justin groan.

"Much better now Justin is here" I said, putting my arm around Justin, he shrugged me off. "You weren't pushing me away the other night" David started to laugh. "I'm being serious" Justin shook his head.

"Something your not telling me Justin?" David chuckled.

"I had a few drinks"

"Justin here trying to kiss me when I was at a very vulnerable state" I grinned taunting at Justin. "Isn't that right Justy?"

"It's all coming out now isn't it Justin" David laughing, patting his back. Justin glared at him.

"I always knew, it was only a matter of time before he fell for me…it's because of my charm? Isn't it" Justin refused to look at me. "There is no deny this kind of sexual tension Justy"

"Good looking couple" David teased.

"Why thank you David! I think so too"

"Don't encourage her" Justin told David sternly.

"What's wrong baby?" I cooed at Hayden as he started to cry. "Is it Justin's face?" Justin gaze darkened. "I'm just kidding there Justin buddy, you have a beautiful face" Justin rolled his eyes, I put my hand out and slid it creepily down his face, he jerked away and stormed off..

"You know he loves it" David laughed. "He secretly enjoys it"

"How do you know?"

"Because whenever Wade suggests we use you to get to Randy, Justin disregards it"

"Aww! How sweet!" I put my hand on my heart.

"How are you enjoying motherhood?" He asked me, looking at Hayden. "Hello there little guy"

"I love it, I love him" I kissed Hayden's cheek. "Anyway I'll let you and Justy get back to whatever you were doing"

"Take care" He smiled as me before following into Justin's direction. I walked back over Randy who was lifting weights, he looked over his shoulder and saw me approaching.

"Got that out of your system?" He asked me, I nodded. "Good" He put the weights down. "I still need to get that tattoo"

"What one?"

"The one of yours and Hayden's name" He told me.

"Remember what happened last time you went to do that?" I crossed my arms and asked him.

"No motorcycles this time, swear"

"Can't you just go to a local one instead of travelling?"

"Kat's the best, c'mon babe" I reluctantly nodded, I couldn't exactly ban him for what sounded like a sweet gesture. "You still need to get your tattoo"

"What tattoo?"

"Your Randy's" He grinned.

"You still want that?"

"Yep! I missed my birthday so we will have to do it soon"

"You seriously want that?" I asked him.

"Yes! Your mine" He put his hand on my lower back, pulling me close to him. "It's like, I see a guy trying to hit on you, I can just turn you around, lift up your hair and tell them to read your neck" I shook my head at him. "I think it sounds like a good idea!"

"We will see"

"It's my birthday and its what I want" Randy leaned against the machine. I leaned up and kissed him. Randy went to deepen the kiss but I leaned out. "Oi, that was just about to get good" Randy tried to attach his lips back onto mine but I leaned out.

"I'm going to go get me some coffee" I told him, smirking.

"Tease" He said slapping my ass as I walked out. I turned to go to the café only to find Ted and Melina making out against the wall.

"Melina" I called out. "You have something disgusting on your face…gross!" Ted leaned out and looked over at me. "Oh….awkward" I grinned. Revenge for earlier.

"Keep walking stumpy" I squinted my eyes at him. "Hey baby, I'm SHORT on money, can I borrow some?" He sniggered.

"Are you implying that you pay Melina?" I sent her a look to go along with it.

"You are?" She asked, her voice full of fake hurt voice.

"No! No! She is…..I'm not…..I can explain….I was joking…..she knew that….I…she…..short….um…." He finally relaxed when she started to like. He looked over and glared at me. "My god when are you going to grow? Are you just going to stay THAT small forever? I mean really Mickie….come on…your just taking the piss now"

"You make fun of my height to make up for smaller things" I dropped my gaze to some place else and then back at him smirking.

His eyes twitched. "If you saw it….you couldn't say it"

"I have seen it! The amount of times I've walked in on you!"

"Melina" Ted whinged. "Tell her!"

"Goodbye Theodore" I sang as I walked away.

"Life destroyer!" He called after me.

Our Randy is back!
Can't believe he got drafted to Smackdown! Can't wait to write that into the story though, will be a long way off yet!
