How Taking Down Legacy Failed

Mickie's P.O.V

"Do you want to talk about it?" Randy asked me, we were on our way to the arena for Raw.

"About what?" I turned my head away from the window to look at him.

"About the whole losing my memory" I turned my head to look back out the window. "Come on babe you've barely spoke about it, I had to find out most of what happened from Becky"

"I just don't like thinking about it" I told him. "It's over now"

He parked the car and helped me out with Hayden, I went to walk forward but he put his arm out to stop me. "If you ever do want to talk about it, you can you know"

"I know" I sent him a thankful smile. "but I just want to pretend like it never happened"

He starred at me before finally accepting my response. "Oh crap" He suddenly said, turning back to the car. He came back out with a smirk on his face, holding his WWE championship. I think this is his first Raw since he won it.

"Come on champ" I teased, Randy wrapped his arms around me and Hayden from behind.

"I could get used to you calling me that" He kissed my cheek and then Hayden's. We walked back to our locker which this week we were sharing with Cody, Becky and Ted.

"The umpa loompa is invading!" Ted yelled out as I walked in.

"It's not funny anymore Theodore!" I scowled at him. "Don't make me get Hayden on you"

"Oh I'm SO scared!" Ted mocked, holding his hands up in fake terror, backing away. "So scared! What is the baby going to do to me? Oh no! Oh-" His eyes widened, he turned around to see he had reversed into the viper mode Randy. "…no" he finished with a squeak.

"What was that Ted?" I smirked in victory.

"Randy! You know I was just kidding!" Ted said brushing the dust of Randy's t-shirt. "She is lovely! The baby too!" He was such a coward when it came to Randy. "You knew I was joking, right baby?"

"No, you hurt my feelings"

Ted shuffled over to me. "Call the viper off and I'll let you be my Virgil"

"Really?" I asked in amazement. Ted nodded. "Randy, me and Ted have sorted out a differences!" He lost the angry viper look. Becky reached out and took Hayden from me; I walked over to Randy and put my arms around him. "I knew having you as a boyfriend would have its advantages"

"Other than the fact I'm great in bed?" Randy winked.

"Mmm" I said before leaning up to kiss him. I broke away when I heard a gasp from Ted.

"What the hell is this?" I tried so hard to keep a straight face as Ted gasped at his iphone.

"What is it?" Cody asked him.

"Someone hacked into my twitter and tweeted 'If there is one thing I regret, it is not having the courage to say what I feel, I mean, I actually endure a …one week relationship just to cover the truth, but no more, I have feelings for guys, strong ones and I will never pretend again" Ted read out to us all. "Who could have done this!"

"I don't know Ted…" Randy said sarcastically looking at me.

"Neither do I!" Ted said, not getting what Randy was suggesting.

"Think about it Ted, who has hacked into your twitter before, who has tweeted pretended to be you? Who have you caught doing it before?" Cody said, trying to hint to him that it was me.

"Is there something you would like to confess Cody?"

Cody sighed deeply. "I give up"

"I can't say I'm not disappointed Codykins, I did expect better from you" Ted shook his head in disapproval.

"Whatever" Cody mumbled in response.

"I'm off to go do my segment as champion" Randy said proudly. He cupped my face and kissed me. He walked over to Hayden who was sitting on Becky's lap, stroked his head and shot out the door. Becky handed Hayden to me as I sat down next to her to watch Randy in the ring. Soon enough, Randy's music hit and he came down the ramp with a smile on his face. He started to walk about how he won, when Sheamus's music hit.

"Orton doesn't deserve this moment" Sheamus stated.

"He has such a way with words" Me and Ted said together, sighing dreamily.

"Oh get a room" Cody told us.

Sheamus continued to say that people discriminated him since he became champion. "I never discriminated him!" I pointed out.

"Me either!" Ted said. "We will have to make that clear to him at some point" I nodded in agreement. Sheamus said that Randy had never beaten him one on one and that he was pathetic. Randy replied that Sheamus had never beaten him one on one either and calls him pathetic right back. Randy threatens that if he wants a title match soon, he needs to get it done as soon as possible because if he continues to get in his way, its not a rematch he will be receiving, it's a punt to the skull. "Did you see that blatant disrespect?"

"You think you threaten me huh? You think I'm scared? I think we proved that I'm not last time, when I kissed Mickie" Sheamus smirked. Randy eyes darkened.

"Oh no he didn't" Ted said, looking over at me.

I put my hand to my heart. "H-h-he remembers!"

"You think I'm threatened? With all them faces you make? Or that crazed look in your eye? When you actually think you're a snake?" Sheamus yelled at Randy. Me and Ted just fell apart at the line 'When you actually think you're a snake?' Sheamus then threatened to kick Randy's head off.

"I dare you" Randy stepped closer to Sheamus challengingly. "to try"

The GM then sent an email, it says that Randy and Sheamus will have their match, no disqualifications, in two weeks at hell in a cell. I gasped "They are fighting for my love!"

Sheamus is looking forward to the match, he asks before he leaves, for Randy to give him his gold. Randy looks a mixture of angry and confused. "Excuse me?" He was talking about WWE championship.

"If you're an honourable man, you will hand it over" Sheamus said demandingly.

"That's your first mistake" Randy tells Sheamus. "Because I am not an honourable man" He looked so hot out there in his trunks and Randy t-shirt. "I would RKO my own Grandmother to keep hold of this championship, Then I would RKO your Grandmother just to see the look on her face"

Ted slammed his million dollar belt on the floor. "Did you SEE that? He threatened to RKO Sheamus's grandma! I am angry now!" Randy then threw Sheamus his title, this distracted Sheamus so Randy connected the RKO. "Oh my god! For fuck sake, no one threatens Sheamus's grandma, NO ONE!"

"Oh I heard Ted and I am ashamed! I'm going apologise on his behalf!" I made my way towards the door. "I'll meet you at the gorilla position for our match Ted!" I walked to the gorilla position where Sheamus was walking past, holding his neck. "Sheamus, Sheamus!" I called, he turned around."What do ye want fella? Did you see what just boyfriend just did to me?"

"Yes I did Sheamus, I'm here to apologise on his behalf, that was just so disrespectful! I give you my word Sheamus he will not be going near your grandmother!" I then turned to see Randy just came out. "I'm going to go have a go now!" I walked over to Randy.

"I'm not going to hear the end of that am I?" Randy chuckled.

"You would RKO your own grandmother? Does that mean you would RKO me?"

"I would definitely show you some RKO, just not what your thinking" Randy winked at me, I glared after him. He stopped when he realised I wasn't following. "You coming?"

"I have something to sort out, but do me a favour, watch Ted's match" I told him, Randy looked at me oddly, but nodded.

Ted walked past Randy. "You stay away from Sheamus's grandmother" Randy lunged forward making Ted jump out of his skin and run to hide behind me, Randy left laughing. I was excited for this! It was Ted versus R-truth, they came to the gorilla position, they looked at me in surprise to see I was teaming up with Ted. I don't think they know of our friendship. Ted's music started up and I felt so excited! It had been so long since I had been even near the ring. I came out with him, the crowd cheered upon seeing me, I linked my arm with Ted's, I clapped some hands as I went past. I got in the ring with him and waited for Eve and R-truth.

"You can do this Teddy!" I whispered into his ear. I slipped out of the ring, along with Eve. She stayed on one side and I stayed on the other. I think I did a pretty good job as a Virgil! I smacked the apron, cheered for Ted, encouraged him and it all paid off because he won! I slipped into the ring and pulled him into a hug, before raising his hand. We were celebrating when music started to play. We looked down the ramp to see the monitor had been turned on. On the screen a messaged from a secret admire came on, it said the words, 'I will have you' Me and Ted left the ring in confusion.

We were walking down the corridor when Melina came forward. "Hey" Melina said putting her arms on match. "What was all that about in the ring?" She asked him.

"Well obviously someone wants me" Ted said arrogantly.

I scoffed. "Obviously it was Justin's way of showing his love"

"Deluded" Ted said to Melina, jerking his thumb in my direction.

I glared. "Melina, would you like to hear an embarrassing story about Ted that his mom told me?" I smirked at Ted.

"I would love to" She said laughing.

"She ain't got nothing on me! She's bluffing!"

"His mom told me when he was little, apparently when he got angry, he would sit under the table and take all of his clothes off" Ted's eyes widened. "This must be very awkward for you"

Ted took out his phone and pressed it to his ear. "Mom! How could you tell Mickie about -" His voice faded away as he walked towards our locker room. Me and Melina just followed, giggling loudly behind, every few giggles, he would turn around and glare. He walked in angrily, only to trip over Cody's foot. "What a stupid place to put your foot!"

"Wow Ted, you look angry" I pointed out. "There's a table over there….if you want" I grinned.

"You stay away from my mom!"

"You stay away from mine!"

"No!"

"Well then I'm going to call Mrs Dibiase now!" I went to walk away, but I felt myself being pulled back. "Oh so now you want to apologise Te-" Only it wasn't Ted, it was an angry looking Randy. "So…. I take it you saw what just happened?"

"Your not going down with Ted anymore" He tried to walk away, but I grabbed onto his arm.

"But I'm his Virgil until Maryse comes back" I told him.

"Not anymore"

"You can't do that"

"I can and I just did" I starred angrily at him. "Did you see what just happened down there? Someone is obviously after you"

Ted coughed and stood in front of me. "That secret admirer is obviously for me"

"Yeah! It probably was! I want to be his Virgil!" I said to Randy. "You can't ban me" He starred down at me, obviously annoyed. "I want to do it"

Randy moved his glance onto Ted. "If she gets hurt, I'm holding you responsible"

"Yes! Thank you!" I kissed his cheek and then turned back to Ted.

"If I get hurt from Randy, I'm holding you responsible!"

"You owe me" Randy told me. I picked up Hayden and headed out the door, Randy followed me. "Where do you think your going?" He asked me, I was about to reply that I was just going on a harmless walk, but he interrupted me. "I'm coming with you, make sure you don't get into trouble" He put his hand on my lower back, keeping me close.

"Did you think it will be ok? Hayden growing up on the road?" I asked him, twirling Hayden's fingers around.

"Yeah I do" Randy replied. "He belongs with his dad and his mom" He told me. "I've spoken to my mom about the wedding, she wants to help organise it"

"Good good" I smiled. "I like your mom"

"She likes you" He chuckled. "What kind of wedding do you want?"

"I kind of want a small one, I'm a simple girl"

"Well thank god, I hated the one with Sam, it just wasn't me" I nodded, not knowing what to say whenever he brought up Sam. I felt Randy's hand slip from my back, I looked over to see he was starring at Chris Jericho who was having an interview with Josh Matthews. "Wait here" He told me sternly.

"Stop taking over my job! Your going to get me fired!" I called after him. "Stupid snake"

I watched as Randy challenged him to a match next week. If Chris wins, Randy will give him a title match. Chris asks him what the catch is, Randy replied that he is sick of hearing his voice. Chris accepts the challenge, Randy walked back to my side. "Want to get out of here?" Randy asked me. "I don't have a match"

"My Virgil skills may need to be used" Randy glared at me. "I'll just go get my stuff" He walked me back to the locker room and waited outside for me to get my stuff. I walked into see Cody with randomly….Drew McIntyre. "Err….hello?"

"Mickie, this is my new tag team partner" Cody said.

"Huge fan" I put my hand out to shake. "Huge fan!"

"You're a huge fan of everyone" Ted scoffed from the couch.

"No I am not! I've been a Drew fan for like, ever!" I said, nodding my head constantly. "When Kelly Kelly started getting up all in your face, I have never been so disgusted! I am so glad we finally got to meet! Just so I can tell you, you deserve so much better then her, you are my hero man, I'm not even jok-"

"Mickie" Randy stepped into the room. He looked at Drew suspiciously before taking my hand and pulling me out. "C'mon babe"

"Randall! I was working!"

"Well I can give you a job" He licked his lips at me.

"She doesn't have to bend down to do it" Ted said coming out of the room sniggering. "Get it, because she's short"

"You two disgust me!" I scowled.

"Too bad Randy, I'm getting mine" Ted smirked as Melina came down the corridor. Ted wrapped his arm around her and they walked away.

"Ted's getting his!" Randy whinged putting his hands on my waist. "You never did fully congratulate me for winning the championship" I pushed him away jokily and headed towards the car park with Hayden on my hip.

Apparently on the rest of Raw, a deal was made between Nexus and John. At hell in a cell, if Nexus win, John has to join them, if Wade wins, Nexus is no more.
