How Taking Down Legacy Failed

I was literally just laying there, I had been awake for two hours, I was just waiting for that knock on the door, for it to be, my mom, Randy's mom, Melina and Becky, because I knew that when that knock came, it would be time to get ready. I couldn't wait, I was as nervous as hell, but I just couldn't wait to see Randy. I was going to become Mrs Orton today, something both me and Randy had been waiting for, for a long time. My heart was beating so fast, it didn't feel real, but at the same time it did. I dreamt last night that we were married and we were so happy. I was surprised when I woke up to see it hadn't happened yet. It took awhile before I was finally able to sleep. I'm so used to Randy being next to me, having his arm around me that it just felt weird sleeping without him. There was one point during the night I nearly got up to go see him, but I resisted. After telling him about thousand times we couldn't see each other, I wasn't about to go back on that.

I just kept thinking, this time tomorrow, we will be married, it will all be over, I couldn't wait. I laid my head back, trying to get back to sleep, but I knew it was impossible. I wasn't going to be able to; it was so close to the actual time, but yet so far. I couldn't sit still. I kept looking out the window to see if my mom had arrived yet. I needed to talk to someone! I needed to get it out of my system; I wanted to yell I'M GETTING MARRIED TODAY! And I was getting married to the most amazing guy in the world. I couldn't be happier.

My heart nearly beated out of my chest when I heard a knock at the door, I jumped out of bed and ran to the door, swinging it open. "It's your wedding day!" Melina squealed as she walked into the room, followed by Becky, my mom and Randy's mom who was holding my wedding dress!

"Oh my baby" My mom pulled me into a hug. "I'm so proud!"

"Oh mom" I said laughing. "Hello baby" I said picking up Hayden from his buggy. "Mommy missed you, yes she did!"

"He has been fed, changed, cuddled so hopefully he will be good to take a nap!" Elaine said. "Let's get you ready for your wedding!"

"Have you seen Randy this morning?" I asked her.

"I stopped by there beforehand, he is dying to see you, he kept asking if he could just out and see you now" I smiled at this, "I told him that wasn't traditional and he said, I don't care if its tradition I just want to see her and I told him, you may not but Mickie does, he is like a love sick puppy over there, my son"

"I miss him too"

"He wanted me to give you this" It was a little note; I unfolded it, 'Can't wait to see you'.

"What the hell have you done to my brother?" Becky asked.

"Oh he is in love Rebecca!" Elaine pushed her a little.

"Right, if you put on the dress, we will get all the make up and hair products set up" Becky told me. I nodded; I picked up my dress and went into the bathroom. Oh god, I was so excited! I was careful with the dress, making sure it would rip, it wouldn't get ruined, I breathed out once I finally had it on and looked at myself in the mirror. I would never take this off if I could!

"Oh you look even more beautiful then you did in the shop! I didn't think that was possible!" Randy's mom cried. "C'mon dear, let's get your hair sorted!" I sat down in the chair and let Melina do her magic. She used to be the hair stylist and makeup artist for Raw. She spent an hour and a half on my hair and it looked beautiful. It was up, with a flower on the side which matched the one on my dress. The back of my hair went down in curls, it couldn't have looked any better, it was amazing. She then worked on my makeup, making sure my eyes stood out brightly and my lips a beautiful colour. I was stunned when I finally saw my finished look.

"Randy is one lucky man" My mom said, smiling behind me. We heard a knock at the door and Melina went to answer it.

I turned round to see Ted come in, his jaw dropped. "Baby…..you look….beautiful" He said breathlessly, I smiled. "I'll tell you one thing, you've completely upstaged me"

"You've never said that you anyone" I said in shock.

"Don't get used to it" He winked.

"Is Randy ok? He hasn't gone off with second thoughts and now you can't find him and your trying to make me feel better an-"

"Baby relax!" Ted said. "You've been watching too much friends" I chuckled. "He asks the same thing about you, he is fine, he is excited, he just wants to see you"

"I want to see him too" I replied. "I didn't think I would miss him as much as I did"

"Oh he knew he would miss you like that" Ted said laughing. "He is on his way now, you ready?" I looked around. "Is that Hayden? Is that my godson?" Ted gasped, he picked up Hayden, Elaine put him in his little suit. "Oh he is so cute!" We all laughed at Ted. "I mean….. cute kid you know…."

"C'mon Theodore, I'm ready" I said, he held out his arm to me, I accepted it. We booked a room on the bottom floor so I wouldn't have to go down the elevator in my wedding dress. When we got outside, my dad was waiting by the limo, I smiled and hugged him.

"You look beautiful baby girl" He said smiling.

"Thank you dad" I replied, I felt like I was about to cry, I was so happy.

"See you when you get there" Ted said to me, kissing my cheek. "Stuart" He said rudely.

"It's Mr James to you Theodore" My dad replied bitterly.

"Well its Mr Handsome to you Stuart"

"Now listen here boy-" My dad said angrily.

"C'mon guys, it's my wedding day, you need to get along" I told them. "Let's go" I said to my dad, he nodded and helped me into the car. It took awhile to get me in, but once I was in, it was ok. My dad got in the other side and I watched as Melina, Becky, my mom, Elaine all got into their car with their dresses. Hayden came with us; he sat on my dad's lap.

"You nervous?"

"Yeah" I breathed out, chuckling nervously. "But I'm excited"

"He is a good man, Randy"

"Yeah, I know" I smiled. The journey was only ten minutes; I sat and watched nervously out the window. My heart was going to explode when we arrived. Melina and Becky helped me out.

"We are going to go sit down" They told me, I nodded. "Good luck!"

"Baby" I turned to see Ted coming towards me. Because he was maid of honour, he was going to walk ahead of me and my dad. "Here we go"

"I know" I breathed in, it felt like I couldn't take in enough oxygen.

"Your going to be great, just watch Randy's face when he sees you" Ted told me, brushing the hair out of my face. "You really do look beautiful"

"I'm so scared Ted" I shook my head and looked away. "I don't even know what for, I'm about to marry the man I love"

"It's ok to be nervous baby"

My dad and Ted nodded at each other, Ted went inside and signalled it was going to start and I heard the music start to play. Ted walked ahead a few places, I was watching my feet, trying not to fall over, but when I finally looked up, I made eye contact with Randy. His jaw dropped and he looked at me, like I had always wanted to be looked at. His reaction was so much more then I could have wished for. I could already see my mom tearing. My dad had one arm linked with mine and in the other he was holding Hayden. When I finally reached Randy, Ted took Hayden from my dad's grasp and stood back next to me.

"My god you're beautiful" Randy whispered to me. "I missed you, you're never leaving my side again after today" I smiled at him, my eyes were watering up and I was shaking, I was terrified but I didn't know what for. "Hey, hey, don't be scared" He wiped the tear that was falling away. "I'm going to look after you"

The marriage ceremony began with a welcome and introduction by the Superintendent registrar. I kind of switched off on what he was saying because all I could do was stare at Randy, this was going to be my husband, mine, all mine. Randy starred back at me with the biggest smile on his face.

Randy then had to make his marriage declaration. "I do solemnly declare that I know not of any lawful impediment why I, Randall Orton, may not be joined in matrimony to Mickie Laree"

It was then my turn. "I call upon these persons here present to witness that I take thee, Randall Orton" I sniggered at the Randall bit which caused everyone to laugh. "to be my lawful wedded husband" I continued.

I saw Cody who smiled at me; he was standing by Randy, like a best man should. He then pulled out the rings and gave them to Randy. "Mickie Laree, I promise to love you, honour and respect you. I will stand by you and be true to you always. I will care for you, laugh with you when you are happy, comfort you when you are sad. Whatever life may bring I will always love you and of course I'll always protect you" I laughed at the last bit.

Randy slipped the ring onto my finger, "You are so beautiful"

"Randall Orton, I give you this ring, as a token of my love and a symbol of our marriage" I slipped the ring onto his finger.

I went into my little daydream again and only heard Randy say "Of course I do" I didn't hear, but I knew he just asked me the same question.

"I do" I replied, feeling surer then ever. We had to sign the register and get Ted and Cody to sign it as witness.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride" Randy put his hand on the side of my cheek and kissed me, it was a slow and gentle kiss, it was perfect. He moved his lips with mine and let off a reluctant moan when I leaned out. Our friends and family cheered. Randy took Hayden from Ted and we walked out together, like a family.

"Your mine now" Was the first thing Randy said as we got covered by confetti.

"And your mine, no more checking out Ted, ok?" I retorted, he rolled his eyes and leaned down to kiss me..

"I have one more surprise" He grinned, he helped me into the car and we were on our way to the hotel. I was eager to know what this surprise was. I was lead to outside of the hall of the hotel, I looked at Randy suspiciously. He just grinned and opened the door, I gasped, everyone was there. The rest of my family, the rest of his, most of the WWE superstars, even ones I didn't speak to! Even Justin was there! With David of course. "Surprise"

"I can't believe you did this" I said, putting my arms around his waist.

"Only the best for my wife" He kissed the stop of my head. "I love saying that, finally!"

There was a special table for me, Randy and all those at the wedding. People cheered for us as we walked in, we went straight to the table. The food was served straight away. Randy turned to me as we waited. "Last night was hell without you" He told me, shuffling closer to me. "Bed felt empty without you"

"Tell me about it" I replied, leaning over to kiss him. "I missed you too, but Ted's stripper act made up for it"

Randy's face dropped. "Ted's stripper act? I thought I told you no strippers!"

"I had no idea! And it was Ted!"

"Don't worry Randall, I was completely professional" Ted poked his head into our conversation.

"If you touched my wife, I will kill you"

"I didn't touch her" Ted told her.

"Good."

"She touched me" Ted replied smirking.

Randy looked at me. "It was your sister actually! She was all over him!" I lied. "Oh look food!"

The food was brilliant and next it was time for the music. Randy went to the middle of the dance floor, I looked at him confused. "It's for the first dance of the newly wed couple" The DJ said. "The song was personally chosen by the husband, the champion Randy Orton" I bet he paid him to say champion. Randy walked over to me and held out his hand to me, which I accepted, he led me to the dance floor where I waited for the song he chose to play.

As soon as it started to play, I recognised it straight away.

It was one of my favourite songs, it was called I do, cherish you, by Mark Wills, it was one of the sweetest songs I had ever heard.

As Randy stared down at me, I couldn't help but think this was my life now, it was set, he was my husband, he was my family, it felt so great but at the same time so scary.

"This is such a beautiful song" I told Randy. He kissed my hand and twirled me around.

It was the Della, that song we danced to from George of the Jungle.

'Now I am the whale listening to some inner call, swimming blindly to throw myself upon your shore'

He smiled and pulled me close to him. "Are you happy?"

What if I don't find you when I have landed?

"I'm more then happy" I whispered to him. He took my hand in his and placed his other hand on my lower back and glided me with the music.

Will you leave me here to die on your shore stranded?

He spun me around and pulled me back to being close with him.

I put my arms to wrap them around his neck, he rested his hands on my waist.

He used his head to nudge mine up to look at him, he leaned down and kissed me.

He leaned out and smiled. "I love you Mickie"

"I love you Randy" I replied, leaning up to kiss him again. We danced together throughout the rest of the song, it was one of the moments you didn't want to end. The guests clapped when we had finished. People started to join the dance floor for the next song, I was walking back to the table with Randy until I heard Ted on the mic.

"Wait right there baby!" He said. "The next dance it for the maid of honour and the bride, I picked this one personally" He grinned, he stepped down and walked towards me. "May I?" He asked Randy's permission instead of mine!

Randy looked at him suspiciously. "If your hands go anywhere I'm not comfortable with, I will beat you down"

"Y-yes sir" Ted nodded. Randy kissed the top of my head and went to sit down with his mom to check on Hayden. "C'mon baby" Ted held out his hand to me, he led me back onto the dance floor.

Ohh wooaah

I starred at the stage in disbelief, Justin Bieber just walked on the stage. What Ted doesn't understand is that I don't like him! All the girls screamed and all the guys moaned. "It seems like I have a lot of fans here tonight" Justin said through the mic. "I want to thank you for being so supportive and I want to say what's up to Mickie James, hello" He said flirtatiously and winked.

"Yeah I'm gonna kick your ass" I mumbled.

"I think most of you know this one" Girls, forced their guys up onto the dance floor. I saw Kelly drag a reluctant Justin, bitch, I would never make him dance to this! Wait! He came to my wedding! Result!

Ted put his hands on my waist and I put my hands on his shoulders.

Just shout whenever, And I'll be there

"Err baby, your husband is glaring at me" Ted said.

"I love that, my husband! I have a husband!" I laughed. "How the hell did you get Justin Bieber here?"

"He is only playing one song, our song" Ted winked.

And we will never ever ever be apart

"Turns out he is a wrestling fan!" I rolled my eyes, little punk! "I can't believe we're here" Ted said as we danced. "It just feels like yesterday we all came together and look how far we've come"

Are we an item? Girl quit playing

"I know Ted, it's pretty scary" I breathed out

Were just friends, What are you saying

"I just have one thing to say to you baby" Ted said.

Said theres another, Look right in my eyes

I waited, thinking he was going to say something immensely sweet that would make me cry, instead I got "If you ever upstage me again, we're going to have a problem" Ted told me.

My first love broke my heart for the first time,

"Oh Theodore" I smacked his chest. "You're the best friend a girl could have"

"I know" Ted replied modestly.

And I was like

"BABY! BABY! BABY! OHHHHH LIKE BABY! BABY! BABY NOOOO! LIKE BABY, BABY, BABY OHHH, THOUGHT YOU'D ALWAYS BE MINE!" Ted sang at the top of his lungs along with the other women in the room.

"This is SO our song!" I told him.

We danced through the rest of the song, once it finished I went over to Randy. "I don't care if he is thirteen, if he comes near you, he is getting an RKO" Randy told me.

Cody came over dragging Ted. "I just found this one begging Justin Bieber to introduce him to Miley"

"Oh god Ted"

"Has the little punk gone?" Randy asked through clenched teeth.

"Yeah, but not before leaving this for Mickie" Cody passed me a little piece of paper.

"This isn't seriously his phone number, is it?" I asked in disgust.

"Afraid so"

"Can I have it?" Ted asked. We all starred at him. "It's not for that! I just want to meet Miley! I want to meet her so badly"

"We're going to her concert soon" Ted sighed. "Not long now Teddy!" I patted his back. "Not long now"

The rest of the party was amazing, but I was happy when it came to that night where it was just me and my amazing husband.

I lifted one leg over and straddled him, he watched me intensely as I planted soft kisses along his chest, his hands moved to my hips, then to my thighs and then back again. I moved my body up, brushing against his groin and kissed him. "God I love you Mick" A growl rippled out of his throat and kissed me roughly. "Mrs Orton"

"I love you too" I told him, "Kinda" I teased. And moved my hand over my back to unhook my bra, he ran his tongue over his upper lip as I did so. "Nah"

"Uh no, now we're married there is no teasing, I get it all" He sat up and pulled me tightly against his chest, his hand ran up my back and unhooked my bra. "Your mine now" I shivered at his touch and leaned up to kiss him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and moved my lips to his neck. He played with the string of my panties, twirling his fingers and then pinging it. He laid back down and allowed me to stay on top which was very unusual for Randy. I trailed my finger down his chest and tugged at his boxers. He watched as my lips parted and my tongue flickered over the head of him, "Fuck" He growled and gritted his teeth, he slid his hand into my head and arched his hips as I repeated the motion over and over. I moved up and rested my head on his chest and I guided my hand up and down his length, I did it harder and harder until he began to shout. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me up to face him, I could see he had enough with the teasing,

You know your not going to be able to walk after this honey moon right?" Randy grinned wickedly and flipped over so that he was on top. "Sorry babe, I like to be in control"

"You're such a control freak!" I giggled out, I wrapped my legs around his waste and allowed him to do whatever he wanted.
