How Taking Down Legacy Failed
Mickie's P.O.V
We pulled into the car park of the hotel and got out to find Ted and Cody waiting around, I was unsure why they hadn't of just gone straight into the hotel. "Hey guys" I said as we got out of the car.
"Hey baby, Randall" Ted said to me. "Ready to go?"
"Oo where are we going?" I asked.
"Actually babe….we…" Randy stepped on the side of Cody and Ted. "are going out"
"Man club." Ted spoke up.
"Man club?" I repeated. "Man club?"
"Yes baby and because you don't have a penis, you can't come"
"That's hardly fair" I scowled. "Randy will let me come" I smirked at Ted. "Won't you Randy?" Silent. "Randy?" Once again silence. "Randall?"
"Sorry babe….it's man time"
"Since when have you guys been doing man club?" I placed my hands on my hips and starred at them angrily.
"Since FOREVER" Ted mocked me and put his hands on his hips. I starred at him. "Ok fine, this is only the second time, but that doesn't change anything baby! No women!"
"Can't you just bend the rules this once?" I whinged, putting my bottom lip out. "Randy?" I said sweetly.
"So cute" He said and kissed me. He leaned out and said "but no"
"You don't want me to come?" I pretended to be extremely hurt. "I thought you liked spending time with me" I put on my sad face and looked down.
"Don't give into her womanly ways Randall!" Ted called out, I glared at him.
"You know I love spending time with you" He placed his hands on my hips.
"Prove it, let me come"
"Sorry babe"
"So what am I suppose to do tonight? Spend the night alone?" I said sadly, turning away.
"You have Hayden…" Randy suggested, taking him out of the backseat.
"This is so unfair! What is the harm in me coming?"
"It wouldn't be man club" Cody spoke up.
"Besides, we men need to talk about men stuff"
"Like what?" I asked him.
"Like women, tits, pussies, stuff you wouldn't want to hear" Ted replied. "Just being men! Do things that women are like 'oh that is so gross'" Ted put on a girly voice. "You may not know this baby, but your husband is the loudest belcher we have ever met" My face scrunched up.
"See, you look disgusted!" Cody pointed out.
"Ok, ok fine, I can understand you two going to man club, but Ted?"
Ted gasped. "Jerk!"
"Bitch" I retorted.
"Babe… you can't come"
"Why not?" I said sadly.
"You know why"
"Can't you just make an exception?" I put my bottom lip up.
"No can do babe"
"When I get home, we'll do something" He pushed the hair out of my face.
"But but, I will be lonely"
"You can watch Supernatural?" Randy suggested. "Ok then?"
"All right…I'll come with you guys! If you insist…." They all shook their heads at me. "You know what? Fuck you guys, I know when I'm not wanted, I'm just going to hang out with Justin tonight" I scowled at them.
"Oh please, Justin would not hang out with you if you were the last short bitch on earth" Ted smirked at me.
"Oh yeah?" I got out my phone and went down to Justin's name. "It's ringing" I informed them.
"Hello?" Justin's voice answer.
"Justin! Hey! It's Mickie buddy, how are you?"
"Ok, how the hell did you get this number?" Justin replied, I looked over at Randy, Cody and Ted, they couldn't hear Justin.
"Oh Justin, you know, I was about to ring you up to ask the same thing!" I spoke loudly so they could hear.
"What? Was it Heath? I am going to kill him" Justin said.
I laughed. "Oh Justin! You are so funny! So yours tonight?"
"Hell no, don't ever ring me again, got it?"
"I'll meet you in half an hour? Got it, see you soon"
"No, you really won't-" I hung up.
I turned to face the men. "See" I smirked at Ted. "So you guys go have your little 'man club' I'm going to go hang out with a REAL man" I glared at Randy. I looked down at the ground and saw something I could use, I looked back at Randy and smirked. I pointed to a cat that was walking through the car park. "Aww there goes the only pussy you're ever to get to play with" I made a mocking sad face at Randy.
His jaw dropped and Cody and Ted busted into laughter. I started to walk away. "Erm babe…" Randy ran after me, he grabbed my wrist and pulled me towards him. "You don't really mean that do you?"
"Yep, I do" I crossed my arms over my chest. "You better go or you'll be late for man club"
"I want a kiss first"
"Too bad" I went to walk away again, but Randy held onto me.
"I will only be a couple of hours" He told me. "I'll text you" He leaned down and kissed me. "I'll miss you"
"Well that's your fault, your loss mister" I poked his chest.
Randy chuckled and look at Hayden. "You look after your mom for me champ"
I shifted Hayden on my shoulder, I gave Randy an innocent stare before I made my way into the hotel. I chuckled as I saw Randy starring after me in the reflection of the hotel window. I felt so lonely as I walked into the empty quiet hotel room, no Ted, no Amelia (Ted dropped her off at his mom's who wanted to see her new granddaughter ) and lastly, no Randy. "Just you and me buddy" I said to Hayden. "You'll never leave me right?"
"Auhhhhhwaa" Was Hayden's reply.
"Good boy" I kissed his head. I fed him, changed him, cuddled him before he fell asleep in my arms. I sighed and looked at my watch. It had only been half an hour and I was as bored as hell! I switched on the TV and put on one of my seasons of Supernatural. It was one from Season two, called Tall Tales, it was one of my favourites as it was so funny. Once that ended, I went to go to the next episode when suddenly the loud crack of thunder came waking Hayden up. "Shit" I mumbled under my breath. I hated thunder….especially when I was alone. "It's ok baby…." I told Hayden, but even I wasn't convince. "Randyyy" I whinged. I didn't like it.
BANG
"Alright, we're leaving!" I said, hopping up, holding Hayden close to me. I didn't want to be alone so I went hunter for someone. Becky was staying at her parents for a few days and Melina was out with her brother. "Wow….I really need more friends" I mumbled to myself.
"Mickie?" I turned around to see Evan Bourne. "Are you ok?" He asked me.
"Yeah" I chuckled nervously. "I just don't like the thunder" I told him, BANG, it went off again, Hayden started to cry again. "And neither does Hayden"
"Do you want to come in?" He opened his hotel door for us. "Until the thunder dies does?"
"I wouldn't want to impose…" BANG. "Ok then…" I quickly scuttled into his room. "Thank you"
"It's no worries, it's nice to have some company, John was suppose to come round, but cancelled"
"John Morrison?" I asked, he nodded. "Ah we will have a better time" He smiled. "So what were you up to?"
BANG. I jumped a little, but I felt much better be in the company with Evan. He was sweet enough to take us in. "I was just making dinner"
"You cook?" I ask in surprise.
"Don't you?"
"Not really" I told him. "I'm not too good of a good, but I'm happy to learn" I stepped forward. "Let's get cooking"
"Alright then" He said, getting the ingredients out. "Where's Randy?"
"He went out on a 'man adventure' with Ted and Cody, couldn't of picked a worse night to go out" I said, he laughed and so did I.
Randy's P.O.V
I couldn't concentrate on the conversation and the guys were noticing. I couldn't get her off my mind, it wasn't that I wasn't having fun, I just missed her. I'm so used to her being around, she's so cute and she makes me laugh, I felt soft, I'd been away from her for less than two hours and I was already missing her and Hayden like crazy. "Earth to Randy…." Cody waved a hand in front of my face. "You need to stop worrying about her dude, I'm sure she's fine"
"She doesn't like thunder" I sighed. "It couldn't of picked a worse night for it to thunder"
"Lolololololol" We both turned to Ted. "I can just see her now" Ted laughed him to himself. "AHHH help me, help me!….ah women"
Me and Cody narrowed our brows at him. "Dude….not cool" Cody turned to me. "Ignore him, why don't you call her?"
"I've tried, she's not answering" I couldn't stop worrying about her, the thunder was so loud and I know how much she hates it. I just wish I was with her.
"She's probably gone to see Melina"
I shook my head. "She's hanging out with her brother"
"Wow…." Ted suddenly said. I looked over at him. "Maybe she really was hanging out with Justin"
"That doesn't make me feel any better" I growled. "I think I'm going to back and check on her"
"Oh man…."
"I'll be back once I know she's safe"
"How are you going to get there? You've had a beer?"
"I'll get a taxi" I told them. "If you hear from her, call me" I told them, putting my jacket on.
"See you when you get back man"
I nodded at Cody. "Bye Randall" Ted waved.
Mickie's P.O.V
"He's really not as bad as everyone thinks" I told Evan as we sat down on the couch, eating the dinner we had just cooked. "It's like Ted, keeps this image for the WWE, but he really is a total sweetheart"
"I really can't imagine that" Evan told me.
"Not many people can, if I hadn't of seen it first hand, I wouldn't of either" I replied, taking a sip of my wine. "He was really there for me when Randy had that accident"
"How is he coping with the baby?"
"He is doing good, I think he was overwhelmed of how much he actually loved the baby once she came home" I smiled. "He didn't think he would be a good father, but he loves that little girl"
"I don't think I'll ever look at Ted the same"
"He's a character" I chuckled. Hayden picked up the TV remote with his small hands.
"Hey buddy" Evan said to him. "What have you got?"
Hayden opened mouth wide and put the control up to his lips. "Hayden" I said, pulling the controller away from him. "I think he is hungry, I better get going" I told Evan standing up, he led me to the door. "Thank you for letting me come in and for the dinner"
"It's no problem, anytime" He smiled. I gave him a hug and left the room.
"Bye Evan" I called into the room before shutting the door. That was a unexpected, but nice evening. I looked up from the ground only to see Randy starring at me, he looked a mixture of surprise and anger. I know he doesn't like Evan, but he shouldn't be angry, I needed someone. "Randy, what are you doing here?"
"I came to see if you were ok, waste of my time really" He replied bitterly. "You went to Evan's? Out of all people? Really?"
"What's wrong with Evan?" I then realised, we were basically outside Evan's room. I grabbed Randy's arm and pulled him inside our room, shutting the door behind us.
"What's wrong? Didn't want Evan to hear us?"
"What is wrong with you? Why are you being like this?"
"Why did it have to be Evan?" He asked me angrily. "Out of all the people, why did you go to him?"
"It's not like I chose for it to happen, I was scared of the thunder and he was just there and he invited me in, he's a nice guy and he was there for me" I said sternly.
"Oh and what? I wasn't?"
"Well no, you weren't there, so you should be angry for me going to someone who was"
"I just wanted to get away for one night and all of a sudden, I'm not there for you? I'm always there for you" He shouted. I didn't know why he was getting so angry.
"You wanted to get away from me? From your son?" I asked, my voice full of hurt.
"I didn't mean it like that" He shook his head. "I came back to be the one to comfort you, but you were with him"
