A/N: Sorry about the delay in chapters, y'all. My inspiration to write different fandoms comes and goes. To answer some reviews left in the past year:

Q: Wait I thought that Chiyo hadn't met Vegeta until the confrontation with the androids/cyborgs. Aren't you contradicting your own writing choices in warrior's daughter? However, I am finding the interactions quite enjoyable.

A: Warrior's Daughter was written 10 years ago and I have revised it many times since then. Kamikaze Girl has only been written in the past 1 - 2 years, so yeah, there will be differences. I'm planning on making some tweaks soon.

Q: Exactly why did you call this story Kamikaze girl?

A: It's a reference to a movie called Kamikaze Girls that I like. It seems to me to invoke a sort of girl who is a bit wild and fun, and that's how I see Chiyo when she was young. I write her as having ADHD and possibly on the spectrum, so she has a very short attention span and a propensity for destruction when she gets bored. Fighting has always been a good outlet for her.

Q: Are you ever going to have Chiyo in Dragon Ball Super?

Yes, hopefully! I have only watched a few episodes but would like to write her into it.

Please be mindful that I write when the inspiration strikes and I will do my best to finish Part 4 shortly!

Bulma had moved from the bed to the couch by the time Vegeta returned to the house with a dirty, limping Chiyo in tow.

"What the hell-" she said, and sat up too quickly. A wave of dizziness washed over her and she sank back on her pillows. "Vegeta, what did you do to her?!"

"Training," Vegeta grunted as he walked past. He disappeared upstairs, leaving a trail of grass and mud from his boots.

At that moment Bulma seriously thought about reconsidering her life choices.

Chiyo's hair stuck out in every direction and her face smudged with dirt; her knees grass-stained and her face flushed. She looked like a complete mess, but-to Bulma's relief-she didn't look hurt. Still, internal injuries were a thing.

"Come here," she said, and beckoned the girl over. "Are you okay? How was your...uh, training?"

Chiyo pumped her fists in the air.

"It. Was. Awesome!" she yelled.

Okay, so she wasn't that hurt.

"Inside voice, please," Bulma said. She followed the glance Chiyo shot at her laptop, and turned the screen around. "I'm working, see?"

"What is it?"

"A blueprint for a new hoi poi capsule. See all the measurements? It tells me exactly how to build it."

"Wooow." Chiyo leaned over Bulma's shoulder to watch her type. "Papa's right. You are smart!"

"He said that, did he?" Bulma said, a little smugly. "Well, it's nice to be appreciated."

She closed the lid, put it aside and got up slowly, closing her eyes as the room spun. When she opened them a few seconds later it was to Chiyo staring up at her.

"You okay, Miss Bulma?"

"Come on." Bulma took her hand. "Let's get you cleaned up."

The downstairs bathroom was about the only indulgence Bulma really spent her father's money on. It was almost as large as her bedroom, with a video screen bolted to one wall and a tub big enough to comfortably fit two adults. For a little girl it was big enough to swim in.

Bulma made Chiyo hold on to the side while she soaped her hair and thought of when she'd done this for Goku all those years ago. He hadn't been a literal toddler, but he may as well have. Chiyo looked a lot like him, too. Same thick, deep black hair; same light brown skin and black eyes.

"Look at this dirt," Bulma said as she worked the lather through Chiyo's hair. "What did you and Vegeta get up to?"

"He made a man grow out of the ground!"

"Tip your head back, honey. What did he do?"

Chiyo obeyed. "He put a seed in the ground and a little green man popped out. And he went eeeeee!"

"Inside voice, Chiyo." What on Earth she was talking about, Bulma had no idea. "And he didn't say any mean things to you, did he? Or hurt you?"

"Uh-uh. He said I could play with the green man, so I did." Chiyo shook her head, splattering Bulma with droplets of water.

"Huh. Well, that's weird." She made a mental note to ask Kuririn what Chiyo could possibly mean. Kids could have vivid imaginations, but she wouldn't put it past Vegeta to put her through some torture training routine.

The video screen lit up all of a sudden, showing Mrs Briefs' smiling face.

"Bulma, dear," she trilled. "Are you decent? You have a phone call from Chi-Chi."

"Sure, Mom. We're just cleaning up."

The screen went blank for a moment, then Chi-Chi's face appeared on the screen.

"Oh, Bulma, there you are," she said. "I thought I would never get this thing working."

"Mommy!" Chiyo shouted, with a volume that made Bulma cringe internally. "Hi, Mommy! It's me!"

Chi-Chi's eyes swam. "Hi, baby. Mommy misses you."

Good grief, Bulma thought, and braced herself for the inevitable tears to follow. To her relief, there was a scuffling noise in the background and Gohan's face popped into view.

"Hi, Bulma!"

Thank God - Kami - for Gohan. "Hey, kiddo! How's the study going?"

"He should be studying right now," Chi-Chi said, before Gohan could reply. "Instead Goku took him fishing this afternoon. Fishing!"

Gohan looked embarrassed, like he always did when Chi-Chi brought up his schoolwork.

"I studied yesterday, Mom," he mumbled.

"And you should study a little tomorrow. You know your tutor expects your homework to be done before your test."

There was a sudden bang in the background, and a familiar voice rang out. "Chi-Chi?"

"I'll be right there!" Chi-Chi called. "Thank you, Bulma. I feel so much better knowing everything is okay."

"Everything's fine," Bulma replied. "We're having fun! Aren't we, Chiyo?"

"Yeah!"

"Inside voice," said Bulma, Gohan and Chi-Chi in unison.

Heavy footsteps thumped in the background. "Hey, Chi-Chi!"

"I'm coming! Well, if it's okay, I'll come over the day after tomorrow to pick her up."

"Let Dad do it, Mom," Gohan chimed in. "He can teleport now."

Chi-Chi scowled slightly. She seemed about to say something, but Goku called her name again, and she disappeared from view.

"Hey, Gohan," Bulma said, as she lifted Chiyo from the bath. "Did Vegeta have any weird goons fighting with him?"

Gohan looked puzzled. "What d'you mean?"

"Did anyone else fight with him, apart from that big, ugly bald guy? Any aliens?"

"Yeah, these little green aliens called Cultivars. They were pretty strong, but not as strong as the Saiyans. Vegeta grew them out of seeds in the ground."

Bulma didn't know it was possible to actually feel your blood pressure rising.

"He did, did he?" she said between clenched teeth.

"That was how Yamcha-" Gohan paused awkwardly. "You know. Why?"

"No reason," she lied, and let Chiyo wriggle out of her grasp. "Listen, I've gotta go. Say hi to Goku for me, okay?"

"Okay."

"And tell your mom everything here is fine. Just fine."

The moment the screen went blank, Bulma let out a shriek of frustration.

"UGH!"

Chiyo, who was pulling on her pajamas, looked startled. Bulma beckoned her over and began to do up the buttons on her shirt.

"Chiyo, tell me what happened with the little green man."

If Vegeta let a little green alien man run amok at Capsule Corp, there would be hell to pay. One three year old was more than enough trouble for her as it was.

"I beat it!" Chiyo said cheerfully.

Bulma sighed. "Right. Of course."

"She's telling the truth," Vegeta said.

Bulma rubbed her temples to dispel the headache she felt coming on.

"You mean to tell me," she replied, "that you really set one of your little green minions on the three year old I was asked to babysit? Really?!"

"The whelp has Saiyan blood. If she cannot manage to defeat such a weak foe, she deserves her fate."

"She's three, you a-oh, why do I even bother?" Bulma sank into the couch and threw up her hands. "Sure. Let a toddler fight an alien. Just don't come crying to me when Chi-Chi finds out."

"Will you stop fussing, woman?" Vegeta said impatiently. "You asked me to watch the child. It will be done my way, or not at all. Unless you would prefer to run after her yourself."

The thought of running was enough to make her stomach churn. "Ugh. No thanks."

"Then leave me be!"

There was no use arguing this with him, she knew, but Chi-Chi would be absolutely horrified when she found out. If she found out. Bulma remembered how she had reacted when Gohan was injured in the fight with the Saiyans.

"Will you just promise me you won't let her get hurt?"

"Feh," Vegeta said, which she took as agreement.

Two days. She could handle another two days...right?
