SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) is back or –as some people refer to its unexpected return- resurrected from its grave.
This means that our online liberty has been deprived! And not only deprived, but also if we post anything that's even partially copyrighted- our beloved fanfics included- we'll be considered delinquents and end up in prison among killers and thieves with the mere crime of seeking entertainment! Or perhaps be obliged to pay them a hefty fine for committing such a crime.
Things that are copyrighted involved AMV's, song covers, lyrics videos, game walkthroughs and the list is incessant!
Or perhaps a story (as the ones on fictionpress) with a character resembling an anime or a cartoon character.
E.G. Once there lived a jet-haired boy with gleaming sapphire blue eyes, his name was Vincent...
Since a character (Chiro) exits with these features, it'll be considered a crime. (or so I've heard)
