Chapter 10 Starscream vs. Jazz

Normal POV
It was just a normal day at the base. All the children where hanging out with the bots. Nightshadow had just gotten back from a patrol with Jazz. When they both entered the base at the same time all the autobots had turned their heads and awwed them. That had pissed Nightshadow off which caused her to throw a wrench at Sunstreaker and Sideswipe. "Hey Nightshadow, where is your sparkmate? I thought that you two were always glued to the hip," chirped Miko. "Miko, not now. I have to report to Optimus. Its really important," said Nightshadow. "Nightshadow, what do you need to talk to me about," asked Optimus as he enter the room. "Optimus, we have a huge problem. Megatron has stolen my special necklace. You know the one that my parents gave to me," shouted Nightshadow. Optimus' optics widened, "This is not good. If Megatron has possetion of your necklace Nightshadow then we may be in trouble. That necklace contains a lot of power that was intendend for you." Nightshadow's optics widened with shock, if the gem in her necklace was that powerful then they would all be in trouble. What would happen if the gem was in put into one of her brother's weapons that he had made. They would have to stop him at any costs. This was serious.
Nightshadow was walking down the hallway of the autobot base and soon bumbed into someone. She looked up and smiled to see that it was her Jazz. "Hey Jazz. Sorry about running into you." Said Nightshadow. He looked at her a smiled and said, " Hey Nightshadow its fine. Are you okay?" He asked. "Yeah I'm fine. Just really nervous. Since my older brother has my necklace I can't relax at all." she said sadly. Jazz bent over and kissed her helm. "Don't worry sweetspark. We'll get your necklace back, I promise." Jazz continued to walk the direction that he had been going. Nightshadow sighed and continued on her way.
On the Nemisis
Starscream's POV
Argh! We couldn't get Nightshadow. This makes me so frustrated. I want her in my arms, but instead she's in that cursed autobot Jazz's arms. It makes me so frustrated. I walk around our ship and made our soliders scatter as I passed them. I head to the command center to see if there is any autobots out and about. I look at the screen to that there was a single autobot signal that was coming from the desert in Jasper, Nervada. I ask soundwave to boast the picture quality and I see that its Nightshadow in the vechical mode. Her ground mode is a 2013 silver and black Lamborghini and her flight mode is similar to mine. "Lord Megatron, Soundwave had detected Nightshadow in the general area. I was planning on intercepting her if that is alright with you my lord?" I asked nervously. Megatron placed a digit to his chin and began to think. I begin to shake. Then he said, " I'll let you go Starscream under one condition." "anything my lord," I replied. "You have to bring Nightshadow back with you. We will turn her into a decepicon and use her to defeat the autobots. Bring her to me and then maybe I'll let you have some fun with my sister," chuckled Megatron. I smiled a little bit but shuddered when he said that I could have some fun with her. He then turned and walked away. I shake my helm and open a groundbridge and go through
In the desert
Nightshadow's POV
I had decided to go for a drive in the desert because Miko had been bothering me to death and I doubt that I would've lasted much longer. Suddenly I hear the sound of a jet flying over head. I transform and my optics widen. Argh of all the cons it had to be Starscream. I watch as he transforms and begins to walk towards me. I activate my arm gantletts and get into a battle stance as he makes his way towards me. "Ahh. If it isn't litte Nightshadow," he said to me. Eww! Is he trying to filrt with me, gross. "What do you want Starscream? Come to do some dirty work for my older brother?" I asked. "Oh nothing, I just want to take you to your older brother. He wants to be a family again," said Starscream. I charge at him and begin to attack. " Hahahahaha. I highly doubt that he wants us to be family. You tell him that he can get fragged. I will never become a decepicon," I hissed at him. Soon he begins fighting back and I soon forced down to my pedes. "Why don't you come quietly and you won't get hurt," he growled. Using all my streagh I was able to push him off me and was able to send him flying into a cliff. "Get Lost!" I hissed. "Never!" He charged at me and began to shoot missiles at me. As the missiles came closer I brought out my lazer whips and sliced them in two. "Haha. You have got to do a lot better than that starscream," I laughed. He ran at me and as I prepare to shot him he kicks me and sends me flying. "oww!" I cry out. I get back on my pedes and put my hand to my head. :: (Hey anyone there?):: I call through my commlink. :: (Jazz here. Whats going on Nightshadow?):: ::(I need some back up.):: ::(Okay I got your position Nightshadow. I'll be there soon.):: I continued to fight Starscream but I was so beaten up that I couldn't stand on my pedes anymore. Just as Starscream was picking me up by my neck I heared someone shout. "Let go of my sparkmate!" Then I collapsed.
Jazz's POV
I watched as Nightshadow collapsed. My anger soon boiled over. "Starscream, don't you dare lay a servo on her," I growled. I activate my guns and run towards him firing. He dodges and begins to fire at me. I dodge and kick him in the jaw. I watch as some of his body armor falls off and falls down. He gets back up and begins to throw punches at me. I dodge them all but I crash in a cliff face. He then points his gun at me and says, "Say good night autobot!" As he prepares to shoot me I see a whip come out of nowhere and wrap around his arm. "What is this? Who dares to challage me!" He screamed. Out of the coner of my optics I notice Nightshadow holding on to her whip and trying to drag Starscream off me. "Nightshadow! Your okay," I cry out. I watch as she pulls Starscream off me and flips him onto his back. She soon jumped up and began to brawl with him. I got up and began to help her. " Its been a long time since we last fought together," I purred to her. " Yeah. The last time you almost got us killed," she chuckled. I watched as she cracked her lazer whip at starscream. It hit in his face and he let off a grunt and fell back. " Surrender Starscream and maybe we'll let you live," Nightshadow hissed. I gently put a servo on her shoulder and shake my head. "We'll take him prisoner but we won't kill him." I say. I watch as she tries to controls he emotions but suddenly Starscream punches her in her stomach, knocking her off her pedes. " Not a chance Autobot!" He screams as he transforms and takes off. I watch him fly off and go back to Nightshadow's side. " You got to pay better attention to how you hold a prisoner," I cooed gently. She grunts in response and I gently pick her up bridal style and call a groundbridge. I as I walk I think of what our life would be like and if we would ever be able to raise a family of our own if Megatron hadn't started a war. I sigh and look down at Nightshadow who had fallen asleep in my arms. I smile and continue into base a happy mech.
