Chapter 13 Going to the Beach

Normal POV

A couple days after everyones night off Nightshadow came forth with an amazing idea for another day off. "How about we go to the beach. I think the kids would enjoy that," said a cheerful Nightshadow. The rest of the team's optics widend in happiness and they turned and looked at Optimus. "Maybe a day at the beach is what we all need. It would give the kids something to do," said Optimus. "So does that mean that we're going to the beach," said a voice from the hallway. All of team Prime turned their heads and saw who the voice belonged to. It was Miko, she had been walking in the hallway towards the mess hall. Nightshadow smiled down at Miko and said, "Yes. We might be going to a beach. But we must find a beach that we can go to that is private. Which is going to be difficult." Miko hung her head in sadness, but soon Nightshadow spoke again. "But I think that we might have a way that we can go to a beach that is private. My adopted family have several private islands that we could use. All I have to do is ask my parents if we could use one of the islands. They'll probably say yes anyway." Miko looked at Optimus with a hopeful look in her eyes. "Well, Nightshadow go make a phone call to your parents and ask them if they will let us use one of their private islands," replied Optimus. Nightshadow's optics widend with happiness and she replied, "Awsome, I'll go make the call right now." Nightshadow transformed into her human form and ran off towards her bedroom. "Yah! We're going to the beach!" Yelled Miko as she fist punched into the sky.

A half an hour later...

Nightshadow's POV

I was in my human form running in my room gathering clothes and throwing them into the suitcase that was on my bed. My father had agreed to let me use one of his private islands and Optimus had green lighted the trip. As I was packing my suitcase I heard my bedroom door slide open and someone walked in. "Hey there Nora," said the voice. I turned around to see Jazz otherwise known as Jason in his human form. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me into his chest. I smiled and leaned back into his chest and let out a sweet purr. "So are you ready to go on the trip? Cause I'm totally ready for this vacation," said Jazz. I smiled sweetly at him and kissed him on the cheek. "I doubt that your packed for two week on vacation. I can't wait to see the island, it has been a while since I last went on a vacation," I replied to Jazz. He smiled and kissed my forehead and said, "Well sweetspark, I better go finish getting packed. Your right. I'm not packed for two weeks of fun in the sun. I'll come see you soon. I can't wait to see you in your swimsuit." I watched as he walked out of my room and my eyes widend as I realieved something. I didn't have a swimsuit. I ran out of my room and headed for my car. Suddenly I heard a someone yell at me, "Hey Nightshadow where are you going?" Asked Miko and Arcee as they came running at me. "I'm headed to the mall to get a swimsuit, cause I just remembered that I don't have one," I replied. "Cool. We need to get suits as well," replied Miko. "Okay lets all go to the mall, hop in," I said to them both and we all piled into my car and took off to the mall.

At the mall...

Normal POV

Nora, Miko, and Arcee drove to the mall and soon got out of the car and headed into the mall to look for their swimsuits. The first store that they tried didn't really have what the girls wanted, but the next store had what they wanted. The store that they went into was a surf shop. Surf Supplies was a store that had tons and tons of stuff for surfers and non-sufers and the first place that the girls went was the bikini section. It took them 2 hours trying on swimsuits and telling each other what they liked and disliked about their choices. An hour later they had finally choosen their had choosen a black and purple bikini top and purple bikini bottom. "Wow Miko! You look cute. All the boys won't be able to take their eyes off you," replied Nora as she admired Miko's choice of swimsuit. Next Arcee came out wearing a dark blue bikini top and bikini bottom. "Looking good Arcee," chirped Miko. Finally it was Nora's turn to show her swimsuit choice, as soon as she came out of the changing room Arcee and Miko knew that Nora was really going to get some attention from the boys. She had chosen a silver tankini top with black flames on one side and black and silver surfer shorts. "I noticed that when you choose your swimsuit that you were thinking of the veichle mode colors. Am I corrected?" Asked Miko. Nora just nodded and they all walked up to the counter and payed for their swimsuits. As soon as the girls payed for their suits they headed back through the mall back to the car when suddenly they bumped into some guys in the mall. "Hey good lookins. Want to hang with us?" the boys asked as the came closer to the girls. Nora, Arcee, and Miko all looked at each other and and began to back away from the boys and began running towards Nora's car with the boys on their heels. "Hey come back," they shouted. The girls threw their bags into the back seat with Miko. "Step on it Nora. They coming!" shouted Miko. Nora turned the key in the engine, took the brake off, and stepped on the gas pedal. But the boys had gotten into their own car and began to chase them. Soon the girls made it back to the base and as soon as they were in thru the gates they thought that they safe, but the boys from the mall continued to follow them. They had managed to get past the guards at the front gate by driving right through the soldiers who were posted there to make sure cilivians didn't come onto the base. Nora put her hand to head and began to speak to Jazz thru her comlink, ::Hey Jazz.:: With in minutes Jazz replied, ::Hey sweetspark. What's up?:: Nora then replied, :: We need some help at the gates. Some boys are trying to get onto the base.:: ::Okay hold on. I'm on my way.:: Replied Jazz.

Jazz's POV

After I left Nora's bedroom I returned to my room to finish packing my clothes. I chuckled when i found out that she didn't have a swimsuit. As I was walking towards the mess hall I heard Nora talking with Miko and Arcee about going to the mall to get a swimsuit because they all had forgot that they didn't have any swimsuits. I heard Miko suggest that they all go to the mall and try and find their swimsuits. I chuckled and heard them all pile into Nora's veichle form and drove off. I watched as they finally were off base and headed towards the mess hall to get some food.

Three hours later...

Yum! Lunch was very yummy. It was taco tuesday in the mess hall. I kinda wish that Nora was here so that we could've shared the tacos. Suddenly my comlink began to beep like crazy.

::Hey Sweetspark. What's up?:: Nora sounded frantic when she began to talk into her comlink which worried me. ::We need some help at the gates. Some boys are trying to get onto the base.:: She replied. I noticed that there was a hint of urgency in her voice. ::Okay, hold on. I'm on my way:: I replied. I ran out of the mess hall and out towards the front gates, and I saw three boys stumbling towards Nora, Arcee, and Miko. I ran over towards them when the boys started to pull the girls towards them."What's going on here and who are you guys?" I shouted at the boys. They took one look at me and they ran back to their car and sped off. I just stood there, surprised that they suddenly ran off. "Are you guys okay?" I asked them. They all nodded their heads and we head inside where Captain Lennox tells us all to get on or into our veichles for we were leaving for the beach. I had already put my bags into my car and went to help Nora. We all climbed into our veichle modes and drove thru the groundbridge. Onward.
