Michelangelo sat by beside Leo, watching his dear older brother breathe deeply in an everlasting sleep. Sighing, Mikey stroked his brother's cheek comfortingly and gave him a gentle hug. The orange-banded turtle could feel the tears coming as his vision blurred together. "Oh Leo…" Mikey muttered into the one sided hug. "Leo…I'm sorry. I-I'm so s-sorry." His whole body started shaking now. "Please…p-please f-forgive me bro. Forgive me. Just w-wake up. Wake u-up…so w-we can laugh a-about it and p-put it b-behind us." His breathing started to quicken as he gasped for air. "Y-you have t-to wake up. You h-have to! Damn it Leo! Wake your green ass up!"
A sound, like a clap of thunder, echoed around the room. As it faded, loud panting was heard coming from the youngest turtle. Blue eyes were trained on the blue-banded turtle's face, where a dark purplish bruise was now starting to form on his left cheek. He gasped as he pulled back from his brother, as if Leonardo was on fire, looking at his hand in shock. "I-I…" Michelangelo closed his eyes, his hands squeezed into tight fists and his teeth grinded together. "I'm sorry, Leo. I'm so, so sorry." Standing up, Mikey opened his eyes, determination shone in their blue depths. "I'll make it up to you big bro. I promise. I don't know how, but I will,"
"I know I will, and I'll be forgiven…"
