As I said on my previous drabble, my ideas for SVU fictions are finally getting back. This song by Tarja Turunen it's extremely beautiful and for some reason reminded me Ell and Liv, and so this was born. Hope you all like it.

He didn't give her chance to say goodbye, and deep inside she thanked him for such, because nothing would make his absence more unbearable than hearing him say 'Goodbye'.
And so she got on with her life as best as she could, though there were times she thought nothing made sense for her anymore and giving everything up was a rather tempting option, but somehow she managed to bring back their happy memories and kept them inside her.
When those memories became painful instead of joyful, she found herself helpless and hopeless, there was nothing more she could do but be consumed by pain, and so she did.
She was patient, though, and somewhere in her aching her there was still a glimmer of hope that said he would come back. With that last portion of hope she waited.
She waited until her tears dried; she waited until the memories could be relived; she waited so long that for once she doubted her feelings, but her heart told her to wait a little more; she waited until she wasn't capable to say her love wouldn't go on; she waited until the silence at other end of line was finally over.
And when the silence was over she waited for him, and he didn't disappoint her.
The silence and tears were finally gone and nothing but their love was left.
