Authors Note: Hey guys! Thanks for the reviews! I hope you enjoyed the last chapter as well as this one. I have to say this is a pretty boring chapter and I'm sorry for that but I have a case of serious writers block. It's also why it's so short. There will be one more chapter after this one. Please read and review, I hope this isn't too boring!

"You do realize that you have a huge hickey right?" It was the first thing Serena said when she saw Blair enter the make up room.

"Hello to you too." Blair said calmy as she sat down next to the blonde and started to cover up the hickey Dan had left on her neck earlier. A small smile attached to her lips.

"I take it your day was good. Considering that you never showed up for school." Serena was putting on her fake eyelashes as she studied Blair in the mirror.

"It was alright." Blair tried to play it cool but she couldn't stop smiling or the blush that crept up over her cheeks as she thought about her day with Dan. It had been everything she wanted and more. This morning she had been miserable and now she felt happier than ever.

"I want details." Serena laughed at her friends behaviour. She had never seen Blair so smitten by a guy before.

"Later. Anyways he's at the apartment with Nate." She looked in the mirror to make sure that the mark was covered, satisfied with the make up she started on her face picking up the concealer from her make up kit.

"Oh really?" Serena smirked and her smile got even bigger when she saw Blair blush even more, her face was now crimson. "At least tell me something."

"Well, we are, and yes I know how cheesy this sounds so don't point it out, boyfriend and girlfriend. And the sex is absolutely amazing." To be honest, Blair was surprised that she could still walk normally after their all afternoon sex marathon before they rushed out of her mothers apartment and to hers.

"I'm so happy for you B." Serena stood up and hugged her from behind before talking out her first outfit for the night and started to put on her stockings.

"But?" Blair could tell that Serena had something on her mind, the blonde was like an open book.

"But have you talked about everything? Carter, trusting each other, his family?"

"We have." Blair met Serena's blue eyes in the mirror. "We talked it out and yes it's going to be a challenge sometimes but it's worth it. He's worth it." She looked down and bit her lip. "He's worth it S." She said again and this time Serena hugged her much more enthusiastically.

"You can't stop smiling." She still had her arms around Blair as they looked at each other in the mirror.

"I know."

"You're in so deep." Serena teased and Blair pushed her away in response.

"I've got to get ready, stop talking." She said and began to work on her make up once again, ending the conversation and avoided Serena's smug smile behind her.

"So you're here waiting for Blair?" Nate was lying on the couch and Dan sat in the stuffed chair next to him as they watched a soccer game. It was weird hanging out with Nate, Blair's friend instead of Nate, his dealer but he quickly learned that Nate was a pretty fun guy.

"I didn't want to go home to face the wrath of my parents." Dan said, not taking his eyes of the television. He cringed when Barca scored on Real Madrid.

"So basically you're a pussy?"

"Hey." Dan warned Nate with a glare.

"Sorry man but come on. If you have a girl like Blair you can't not stand up to your parents. She's worth it."

"I know that." He stood up and headed to the kitchen to get a bottle of water "And I will, first thing tomorrow when I see them. I'm going to talk to them." He took a long sip from the bottle. "How's your ribs by the way?"

"Still painful, but it's getting better. Those pills are magic." Nate gestured to the bottle of pain killers on the table. "It will be painful for at least a couple of more weeks and I might loose some customers which really blows.I don't want to bring anybody here and I can't go outside." He frowned slightly.

"That sucks." Dan knew that Nate needed the money to help pay the rent so loosing business could be a potential problem in the future.

"But I have Chuck's weed here if you could take it and bring it to him tomorrow?" Nate shifted slightly on the couch to be able to see the television better.

"Yeah, no problem man."

Both men turned to the TV, watching in silence for some time before Nate turned his head in Dan's direction.

"Just want to let you know, I barely remember the threesome. And I barely touched her, we didn't have sex. It was more me and Serena and Serena and Blair."

Dan felt his eyes go wide, not expecting Nate to bring it up.

"We talked about it. It's the past, you can't be mad at the past." He still felt a bit relieved.

"Good." Nate's gaze returned to the television. "Oh and just so you know, Blair is my best friend if you screw her over or hurt her in any way, I'm coming after you." Nate told him seriously.

"I promise I wont." Dan was just as serious.

It was almost 2.30 AM and Blair was running on the usual adrenalin rush she got when she danced. She was having such a good time, better than she had in a while. It had been a busy night and Serena and her had done a few special numbers that was usually reserved for private parties and birthdays but Blaine wanted to keep the people entertained. Now she was alone, Serena had wondered off the one of the private rooms with a few of the other dances to tend to the bachelor party Blair had gotten out of and she was walking around talking with patrons. She had successfully avoided the bar where she knew Carter was, she didn't want any more drama with him. At least not tonight, she knew that they needed to talk at some point.

"Hey Blair!"

She turned around at the sound of her name and saw Vanessa and Chuck standing a few feet away, looking a bit out of place with their extravagant clothes in the mist of jeans and plain dress shirts. She quickly made her way over to the pair, not sure how to greet them. She might not hate Vanessa anymore but they were far from friends and she never really knew how to act with Chuck.

"Hi. What are you doing here?" She saw Chuck looking at her up and down and she wanted to punch him.

"We are looking for Dan." Vanessa said and rolled her eyes when she saw Chuck's leering. "Chuck, stop scaring the poor girl."

"I think she likes it." Chuck slurred a little.

"Dan's not here, he's at my apartment with Nate." Blair ignored Chuck and focused on Vanessa. "Why?"

"No reason, we just wanted to see him. Neither of us have heard from him since this morning, he haven't answered any calls or texts. We figured he was with you." A man bumped in to Vanessa and she rolled her eyes. "Can we go to the bar or something?" She didn't wait for a reply, instead she took Chuck's hand and started to push her way through the crowd. Blair followed with a frown.

When they reached their destination she immediately saw Carter serving a man on the other end of the bar. He must have felt somebody watching him, it didn't take more than a few seconds for his eyes to find her. Blair gulped when he approached them.

"The usual?" He asked and Blair nodded. "And for your?" His eyes didn't leave Blair.

"Champagne, nothing for him." Vanessa ignored Chucks protests and he slumped slightly in his seat. It didn't take long for Carter to hand them the drinks and Blair quickly downed her shot.

"We should talk Blair." Carter watched as she sucked on the lemon.

"Not tonight."

Carter looked like he was about to say something but he was interrupted when Ed, the other bartender called for him. He gave Blair one last look before heading over and started to pour the drinks beside Ed.

"Isn't that your boyfriend?" Vanessa recognized the guy from Dan's birthday.

"Ex." She replied curtly. "So Dan's not here. His phone died which is why he wasn't answering. Anything else?" Blair looked at the clock, she needed to get up on stage soon, for the last performances of the night.

"His mom is livid, he needs to go home."

Blair snickered while playing with her shot glass.

"He's eighteen, not eight."

"The rules are different on the Upper East Side." Chuck who had remained quiet suddenly said. "Dan's going to Dartmouth to be a lawyer. It might not be what he wants but it's what's going to happen. And therefore he can't skip school to be with you."

Blair looked at the pair in a mix of shock and contempt. Were Chuck and Vanessa Dans moms little slaves? Wasn't Dan allowed to do what he wanted, like be a writer? She decided that this wasn't her fight though and sighed heavily.

"Look, I need to get up on stage, but the club closes in like thirty minutes. If you want you can come with me and Serena to the apartment and you can talk to Dan." She couldn't believe what she just said but figured that it was the easiest way to get out of this quickly, Carter was making his way over again and she didn't want to talk to him anymore than she wanted to talk to Vanessa and Chuck.

"All right, we have a car outside, meet you there." Vanessa said and Blair quickly headed to the changing rooms to change her outfit.

"You told them what?" Serena watched Blair with narrowed eyes as they changed out of their corset's and stockings.

"I panicked okay? I had to change and get up on stage and Carter wants to talk and they were saying these ridiculous things about Dan and his future." Blair out on her flats on as she looked at Serena who wore a tired look on her face.

"So you told them that they could come to the apartment? Blair it's 3 AM, Nate's still in a lot of pain..."

"I know okay?" Blair interrupted her. "This might not be the best idea but now it's too late I told them that they could come, so just stop bitching about it." The two friends stared each other down, both too tired to fight but too stubborn too surrender.

"Fine." Serena finally said and Blair breathed a sigh of relief.

"Thank you." She said softly before grabbing her jacket. "They're waiting, come on." She took Serena's hand and headed outside.

"Took you long enough." Chuck muttered, he was leaning against the car and smoking a joint with Vanessa next to him looking more tired than annoyed.

Getting in to the car Serena rolled her eyes but kept her mouth shut as Blair gave the driver their address. The ride was awkward and quiet as the four of them sat beside each other in the small space.

"We could have a really good time like this, me and three beautiful girls." Chuck smirked and Vanessa quickly hit him in the chest while Serena forced herself not to slap him and Blair wanted to throw up.

"You're disgusting." Vanessa said but smiled a little anyway.

"You still love me." He kissed her cheek.

The four of them remained quiet until the car came to a halt.

"We're here." Serena jumped out of the car with the rest in tow.

When they got inside they found Dan and Nate in the livingroom slightly startled at the sudden noise.

Dan smiled when Blair practically ran over to him and kissed him.

"I missed you." She whispered against his lips.

"I missed you too." He smiled but the smile quickly turned in to a frown when he saw Chuck and Vanessa standing in the doorway "What are you guys doing here?"

"We wanted to see if you were alive and let you know that brunch is canceled tomorrow." Vanessa said as she looked around the apartment with a hint of detest on her face. Serena and Blair helped Nate up and headed to Serena's bedroom, leaving the three of them alone.

"Really?" Dan said sarcastically and crossed his arms. "So my mom didn't send you?"

Neither Vanessa nor Chuck answered which annoyed Dan even more.

"Are you kidding me right now?" He stood up angrily.

"Look, we're worried." Vanessa started "You are fighting with your parents and ignoring our calls."

"My phone died." Dan's raised his voice "And I'm not fighting with my parents, I'm trying to get mom to understand that she can not decide my life for me."

"Dan, we all have plans." Chuck said. "We've had the same plans since kindergarten, do you really think that your mom is going to just sit by as you ruin those plans?"

" But I will go to Dartmouth, that doesn't change the fact that I'm dating Blair. Besides there's a difference between their plans and ours. For example, Vanessa you want to work with photography..."

"But I'm going to Princeton to study business anyways. Dan you know that we have expectations that we have to live up too. Don't ruin this."

"I told you, I'm still going to college, I'll study law just like they want. I just want to be able to decide some things on my own. Besides, you wanted me to fix things with Blair, what changed?" He looked helplessly at Vanessa.

"Nothing. I want you to be happy. We just wanted to make sure that you were okay." Vanessa looked down at the floor, her dark hair falling around her face.

"You're lying." He said calmly crossing his arms "And if you are not going to tell me the real reason why you agreed to come here, because she sent you then you might as well leave."

"Dan come on..." Chuck took a couple of steps forward. "Just come with us, away from this hell hole."

"Shut up Chuck." Dan hated that Chuck would become a completely different person when he was high. "Now go home, I'll see you on Monday in school."

"This was obviously a waste of time." Chuck muttered and headed to the door leaving Vanessa to stare at him.

"What?" Dan asked angrily.

"You love her." She said it quietly but in stillness of the room he heard it clear as day. "I wouldn't have come if I had known."

"Look Vanessa..." Dan started but she continued.

"I came here because you mom asked me too, because she still have this fantasy that you and I will get married one day and I agreed to come because I thought maybe she was right about Blair. That maybe you'll get dragged through the dirt and become an outcast on the Upper East Side, but the truth is that I've never seen you more happy that when we walked in through that door and you saw Blair." She smiled at him and he smiled back.

"Thank you." He said before hugging her. This had been a strange night but finally Vanessa understood him. Chuck would come around too, he only had his mom and Jenny to worry about.

"I'm gonna go, have to yell at Chuck for being an asshole." She snickered and they walked to the door. "See you on Monday Danny."

"Don't call me that." He smiled before closing and locking the door after her. He sighed heavily as he walked to Blair's bedroom. He found her already in bed, her face free of makeup, her hair extensions gone and wearing a red slip. She immediately sat up when she saw him.

"You okay?"

"Yeah, Vanessa was just confused, I set her straight though." He took of his shirt on the way to the bathroom to brush his teeth. When he came back Blair was sitting against the headboard with her knees drawn up to her chest.

"You are way to cute for your own good." He smiled as he removed his jeans.

"I'm not cute." She frowned.

"Yes you are." He laid down next to her on the bed. "Now stop being stubborn and lay down."

Blair thought about bickering with him a little more but decided that she was too tired. It was four am after all. She laid her head on his chest and rested her arm low on his stomach, she felt his arm around her shoulders and sighed happily.

"I'm talking to my mom tomorrow." Dan said.

"I'm talking to Carter." When she felt Dan stiffen she looked up at him "I'll call him and ask him to meet me here, Nate will be here and so will Serena."

"Okay. I just don't want him to try anything again." He kissed her nose playfully.

"He wont." Blair assured him and reached up to kiss him properly. "What are you telling your parents?"

"There isn't much to say really. Dad won't mind, it's mom and Jenny who are going to cause problems. But I'll just tell them that I'm with you, that doesn't change my plans for the future. I'll still go to Dartmouth and I will study law."

"What about your writing?"

"That's the beauty of writing. I can do it wherever and whenever. Being a lawyer is the smarter choice, but I'm not giving up on writing. Who knows, maybe I'll publish a book when I'm done with my studies and it'll be a big hit and I can do what I love." He smiled at her.

"Good. I like having a creative boyfriend." She reached up and kissed him once more. "We should sleep. I'm exhausted and my whole body hurts, I had to do these dips and splits that I wasn't really prepared for." She chuckled lightly and turned around, dragging Dan with her so they were spooning.

I would have loved to see that." He whispered in her hair.

"Maybe tomorrow." Blair felt her body relaxing and her eyelids became heavy. "Good night.""Night Waldorf."

Authors Note 2: I'll try to update the last chapter somewhat soon, there's just a lot going on with school and work and life in general. Hope you liked this, please review
