The warm rays of the sun made the walls of Ouran Academy High School building glimmer with those glitters onto its cemented ceilings. As always, cherry blossom petals filled the catwalks and sidewalks of the grandiose establishment. It was a typical day at Ouran High, and everybody was eager to start the day right.

Well…almost everybody...

"MISA-CHAN!"

Misaki stopped walking and turned around to see who called her. With her surprise, it was Honey, together with Mori as normal. With his usual cheerful, adorable smile, Honey jumped onto Misaki and held her hands childishly.

"Good morning, Honey-sempai.", Misaki said politely and looked at Mori, then continued, "Good morning, Mori-sempai."

Mori simply nodded.

"Good morning, Misa-chan! How's your weekend?" Honey asked happily.

Misaki pondered for a moment and then answered the blonde male's question with a simple, "It was great...I think."

"How's your shopping at the market yesterday?" a familiar voice disrupted Misaki's and Honey's conversation.

Honey shouted with glee as he saw the recognizable face approaching towards them.

"GOOD MORNING, HARUHI!" Honey exclaimed.

Misaki stared at Haruhi, carrying her school bag and was dressed up in the Ouran Academy's boys' uniform. Haruhi waved at them with a smile on her face; Misaki looked down as if she felt intimidated after Haruhi mentioned about her shopping at the market yesterday. When Haruhi noticed it, she slapped Misaki's right shoulder lightly and chuckled.

"Hey, don't be embarrassed, Misaki. It happened that I was there too yesterday. I saw you buying vegetables and stuff, so I decided to keep an eye on you for a while." Haruhi explained.

"Yeah, I was planning to make oyakodon for dinner, so I decided to stop by the market to buy the ingredients." Misaki said.

"Wow! That sounds delicious!" Honey said, rubbing his tummy.

"Oyakodon reminds me of home. "Mori said.

"My mother used to make that for me and Dad when I was little, so as far as I can remember, that was the last time I ate oyakodon." Haruhi added.

"I wonder what it looks like, though. Does it taste good?" Honey asked.

"Don't tell me you haven't eat oyakodon before, do you, sempai?" Haruhi asked.

"I eat cakes and sweets most of the time, so I don't know much about those kinds of dishes." Honey replied.

Misaki sighed. "I see."

Their conversation was interrupted when the school bell rang loudly.

"We should get inside or we'll be late." Haruhi said towards Misaki, holding her by the hand.

"See you later at the music room, Haru-chan! Misa-chan!" Honey said, waving at the girls.

Mori faced Honey and said, "Let's go."

Honey answered Mori with a nod.

FLASHBACK:

Autumn leaves were swiftly falling to the ground.

Twilight approaches, signaling the start of the evening. The sky showed its black, blue and violet hues as the sun finally settled its way down.

The wind blew; there was chillness in the air.

There was a big traditional Japanese house beside an old temple by the woods. The dim lamp posts gave light to the whole surroundings. At the garden, a young girl was seen sitting on the bench, playing with a toy keyboard. The girl pressed the black and white keys with her fingers one at a time. She giggled after hearing the different tunes that each key makes. She smiled and went on playing with the toy.

The girl was about six to seven years of age, possessing a fair complexion complementing well with her shoulder-length ebony straight hair. She was wearing a red ribbon onto the right side of her head. She was wearing a white flowing dress with a black bow tied around her waist.

While in the middle of playing with her toy keyboard, the little girl heard a feminine voice calling her, saying, "Misa-kun! Come inside; it's getting late. Your food's ready!"

"Coming!" the girl said in a high-pitched, adorable voice.

And so, the girl went inside the house, carrying the toy keyboard in her hands.

BACK TO THE PRESENT...

Faint sounds of footsteps were heard across the hallway.

A silhouette was seen moving as it headed on its way to Music Room # 3.

In a while, that silhouette opened the door slowly. There was light coming from the music room, dominating the entire scene.

FLASHBACK:

The black-haired girl was seen staring at the hot rice bowl dish in front of her. The food looks tasty; what made the little girl hungrier were the well-cooked chicken meat cut into bite-sized chunks.

"You know, your Grandma used to cook this for us when we were still young. This is my favorite." the feminine voice told the little girl.

"What do you call this dish?" the girl asked.

"This is a donburi (Japanese "rice bowl dish") called 'oyakodon'." the voice answered.

The girl sighed and said her prayers. Afterwards, she picked up her chopsticks and began eating. When she took her first bite of the dish, her dark eyes went wide with joy. The girl ate happily until she finished all of the food. She breathed deeply and let out a cheerful smile.

"Whoa! This is delicious! Will you teach me how to make 'oyakodon'?" she said, looking at a young-looking woman sitting beside her.

"Why, of course, dear! When you grow a little older, I will teach you how to make this dish. But not for now, because you're too young to cook." the lady said.

"Aw! Too bad! But, it's OK. When Pa gets back, I'll make 'oyakodon' for him...and for you, too!" the girl said.

The lady stared at the young girl with her eyes almost teary-eyed. She sighed and held the girl's head gently and smiled.

'I'm sure you father will love to taste your dish, Misa-kun." the woman said as she embraced the girl closely.

BACK TO THE PRESENT...

11:45 A.M.

An enticing, savory aroma filled up the pantry as its warm steam rose to the air. Apparently, the steam came from a big pot on the stove.

Outside the pantry was the music room. A round table was seen at the center of the room, with a fresh bouquet of roses in a porcelain vase set at the middle of it. There were trays that were orderly arranged on that round table - fried fish, sushi and miso soup were seen on each plate perfectly arranged in their places. On top of each tray were empty rice bowls waiting to be filled. Pairs of chopsticks were set on to each tray.

A pair of hands, being covered with mittens, removed the big pot from the stove and set it on the table, just beside the vase.

After everything was done, the persona who was in the pantry took off her apron.

12:00 A.M.

Lunch break.

"Hmmm...do you guys smell something?"

"Smell what?"

"I'm not sure, but I think...I smell food."

"What you said made me hungry, dude."

"Stop! I think I found where the smell's coming from."

Those voices came from four male students who happened to walk along the hallway and pass by the famous Music Room # 3. Since it's lunch time, these students were on their way to the school refectory, until one of them smelled the aroma coming from the music room.

One of them volunteered to take a peek in to the room; the remaining three students guarded the door.

The young male students went inside the music room and gently closed the door. His eyes suddenly went wide when he saw the table and the delicious food being set on that table. He opened the door slightly, calling his friends.

"Hey, come here! Look at this!" he said in a whisper.

The three, as expected, followed their friend inside the music room. They were surprised to see those tasty dishes on the table; their mouths began to water and their stomachs rumbled.

"W-What are we going to do?"

"Should we take our lunch here instead?"

"W-What if someone's in here? What if that person catch us eating someone else's meal?"

"Well...there's only a way to find out."

The four male students nodded their heads and attempted to take the trays to get food. However, as they almost reach the big pot with their hands, they heard somebody humming a slow melody. The hum sounded gloomy...and eerie. It sounded too eerie, that the males began to shake dreadfully. As the hum grew louder, their knees started wobbling.

One of the students pointed at the door leading to the pantry and said, " Someone's coming."

They looked, and then saw a pale young girl, holding a pitcher of cold orange juice in her hands. The girl stared at the male students will dark, dull eyes and slightly smiled.

"Welcome, my beloved guests. What brings you here?" the girl said in her husky, ghastly voice.

The young boys put the trays back to their places and faced the girl, saying, "W-We're sorry to d-d-d-disturb y-you...w-we just p-passed by...a-and..."

"I see. So, would you like to have some-" the girl asked again, until one of the male students shouted in horror.

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! WE'RE SO SOOOOORRRRRRRYYYYY!" the student (who came in to the music room first) shrieked, pulling his three friends out of the room. Their shouts continue to echo until they faded.

The girl sighed loosely and said, "Too bad, I was trying to offer them this." she said, looking at the pitcher of juice in her hands.

On the other side of the Ouran High School building, Haruhi, together with Hikaru and Kaoru, was seen walking along the hallway. The Hitachiin twins were behind Haruhi and were busy talking with each other.

"Unbelievable! I studied hard for our Math quiz since Tuesday; yet, I got ten out of fifty." Kaoru whined.

"Geez, Bro. Haven't you remembered the basics? Seriously, you need to get a tutor." Hikaru said.

"I ALREADY have a tutor, and I don't need anybody else." Kaoru injected, pointing at his twin brother.

Hikaru grinned naughtily and suddenly grabbed Kaoru's hand (which obviously surprised Kaoru); he stared at his brother's eyes closely and held his right cheek with one palm, saying, "Do you mean what you said, Kaoru? To tell you the truth, those words made my heart leap with gladness. It's as if you're saying that you are dependent on me...that you cannot live without me...and I love to hear that."

"Yes, I mean what I said, Hikaru. I'm just a bit frustrated, that's all." Kaoru said, now looking back at Hikaru longingly, his amber-colored eyes seemed teary-eyed.

Hikaru held Kaoru, embracing him and said, "Don't worry, there'll always be a second chance. Next time, you will get the highest score, I promise you."

"Really?" Kaoru asked, his eyes shining joyfully.

"Yes, I promise." Hikaru replied.

"You better cut that out, you two. We're making a scene here." Haruhi blurted, interrupted the twins.

"Huh?" Hikaru and Kaoru said, blinking curiously.

The students who were present at the hallway couldn't take their eyes off of the three hosts...most particularly the females. All of a sudden, the girls' faces were madly blushing, their eyes staring at Haruhi, Hikaru, and Kaoru with joy.

After that, there was a loud "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!" inside the building. The girls began to ran towards the three hosts.

"RUUUUNNNN!" the three hosts exclaimed altogether as they found themselves being chased by a massive crowd of young female students, squealing.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the building, Tamaki and Kyouya were still inside the class. It was already lunch break, and almost all of their classmates were out. Tamaki approached Kyouya, who was by that time, busy with his laptop.

"By the way, Kyouya. Have you found interesting information about them?" he asked.

"Yes, I have. In fact, I was amused after checking at all the data I got. Allow me." Kyouya answered, showing his laptop to the blonde male.

"So, what have you got?" Tamaki asked again.

"Ms. Aiko Yomura is in Class 1-B. She was admitted here at Ouran Academy with Ms. Tainaka last April. Her parents were well-known musicians here and abroad. She loves playing the violin and the piano; her exceptional skills in playing these instruments enabled her to pass the examination for the Ouran Academy Musical Scholarship. Also, she is a great theater performer since middle high school, so she too joined the Drama Club and was elected president. At present, Ms. Yomura is highly affiliated with the Music Club and the Drama Club. Most of the students know her as an energetic and vibrant student leader of the Drama Club." Kyouya stated.

Tamaki sighed heavily. "However, they didn't know how harsh Ms. Yomura is, after what she did with Misaki. Did you also gain information about those two female students who were with her?"

"Yes, I did, Tamaki. Both of these girls belonged to the same class as Ms. Yomura. These two ladies came from middle-class families and it happened that their families are well-acquainted with Ms. Yomura's parents. No wonder why the three are close friends." Kyouya replied calmly.

Tamaki tapped his fingers lightly on to the table, thinking. He folded his arms, letting out a sigh.

"If you don't mind, Tamaki...I want to know what you are planning to do with these ladies." Kyouya said curiously, still his face looked serene.

"Let's talk it out later at the music room. So, shall we go?" Tamaki answered simply.

"If you say so." Kyouya said back.

And so the two went out of the classroom. They were walking along the hallway while on the way to the music room; they also talked about the preparations for the upcoming Ouran High School Grand Student Ball next month. Since the Host Club is in charge of the said event, Tamaki and Kyouya decided to hold a meeting after school to lay out the plans for everyone. Well, things ran pretty smoothly for the mentioned preparations, so the two ended up this conversation well.

When Kyouya touched the knob, Tamaki held his shoulder.

"Wait, Kyouya...do you smell something?" he asked, sniffing.

Kyouya blinked, and then sniffed. "Hmm...we better check it out."

"I agree." Tamaki said and opened the door.

Steam welcomed the two hosts as they saw it all throughout the music room. It emitted a savory aroma, causing their stomachs to rumble. Kyouya looked at the round table located at the center of the room. He blinked and turned to Tamaki, saying with a smile, "Perfect timing, Tamaki. Looks like somebody prepared lunch for us."

Tamaki couldn't believe his eyes as he noticed the round table with all the simple, yet delicious food on it. He can't avoid the rumbling of his stomach, and he felt like running like hell to grab some food to eat. Since it is impossible for him to do such a reckless manner, he simply sighed.

"Yes, that's true. But I wonder who made all this." he said.

Then they heard a creak. Tamaki and Kyouya turned around and saw a door opened. They remembered that it was the door leading to the pantry. Tamaki walked slowly, approaching the door. His face looked serious, sweat gradually came out from his forehead and his heart was beating so fast. He was curious, yet frightened at what could happen next. Kyouya followed the blonde male and he too was curious about what's going on.

All of a sudden, they saw a shadow creeping inside the pantry. A strong, eerie aura filled the entire room. Tamaki suddenly began shaking with fear; Kyouya just looked at the shadow, trying to conceal the fright from his face. When they tried sneaking into the pantry, the dark shadow finally showed itself, much with the hosts's surprise.

"What are you doing?" a husky, creepy voice greeted Tamaki and Kyouya.

Tamaki started running away from the shadow and hid himself behind the curtains. Kyouya, now recognizing the shadow in front of him, laughed lightly.

"I don't know how to say this but...I am impressed by your punctuality, Ms. Tainaka." he said, smiling.

"W-What did you say?" Tamaki blurted with disbelief, still hiding behind the window curtains.

After that, the door banged open. Haruhi, Hikaru and Kaoru ran in and quickly closed the door. Tamaki suddenly popped out from the curtains and ran towards Haruhi with tearful eyes, screaming, "HARUHI!"

"WHAT THE?" Haruhi blurted as she stepped backward, avoiding Tamaki's "breath-taking" (in a literal sense), tight embrace. Well, Tamaki ended up on the floor with his face flat. The twins looked at Tamaki and then laughed loudly at Tamaki's embarrssing moment. Tamaki stood up slowly, rubbing the dust off of his sleeves and shouted angrily. Hikaru and Kaoru began their little prank on Tamaki as they started running around the room, making Tamaki to chase them.

"DON'T YOU DARE LAUGH AT ME LIKE THAT! COME BACK HERE, YOU LITTLE DEVILS!" Tamaki shouted while chasing the Hitachiin twins.

'Catch us if you can, Tono!" Hikaru shouted back, giggling childishly.

"Over here!" Kaoru said as well, trying to irritate Tamaki.

Tamaki clenched his fists and never stopped chasing the two. Haruhi then turned around and saw Misaki.

"You're here already?" she asked.

Misaki nodded and said in a low voice, "I-I prepared something for all of you." She pointed at the round table at the center of the room.

Haruhi looked at the round table, until she saw that big pot at the middle of it. She felt her stomach rumbling now. Haruhi looked at Misaki and smiled.

"Well...I can't wait to taste the dishes that you made. Come on. Don't mind those morons there. They'll get hungry for sure." she said, holding Misaki by the hand.

Kyouya followed the two ladies, saying, "I agree with you, Haruhi. I hope Honey and Mori will arrive soon, or they'll miss this."

Honey and Mori were on their way to the music room. With a smile, Honey hummed a happy tune while Mori glanced at the glass window, looking at the beautiful view outside the walls of the Ouran High School Building.

All of a sudden, they heard a voice greeting them.

"Hello there!"

Honey and Mori stopped walking. The two hosts stared at three personas before them. Honey let out a wave and said a happy, "Hello to you too, Miss!"

Mori let out a heavy sigh and instantly held Honey's shoulders. For no specific reason, the tall, silent male felt that something's wrong. The situation seemed...odd and unexpectedly...threatening.

"I saw you two at Music Room # 3 a few days ago. I would like to tell you how grateful we are for meeting you, though in fact, we didn't really know each other that well." a feminine voice said.

"Well, we're glad to meet you too, Miss! Is that right, Mori?" Honey said towards Mori.

However, Honey sensed the serious look in his cousin's eyes. Mori's face looked...disturbed. Honey's smile gradually faded, realizing that something's going on. Whatever that is, one thing is for sure - Honey doesn't like it.

"Mori, what's wrong?" he asked.

Mori never said anything...except he grabbed Honey and carried him as he ran away from the three ladies in front of them. But, much with their surprise, the ceilings of the building suddenly exploded, causing the ground to shake terrifically. Big lumps of the debris blocked Mori's path. He turned around and saw the three female students looking at them with devious smiles on their faces.

"There's nowhere to run, boys." the girl with blonde hair and blue eyes told Mori.

Mori embraced Honey tightly, protecting him from the falling debris of the now damaged building. There were choppers over their heads. Suddenly, a group of men dressed in black Special Ops uniform came down by ladders and cuffed Mori's hands. Accidentally, Mori slipped Honey from his hold and started fighting the men with his defense skills. Honey fell to the ground and hurt his back. He cried for help as he tried standing up to save his cousin. Unfortunately, one of the Special Ops men carried Honey and covered his nose and mouth with a handkerchief soaked in some sort of a chemical in liquid form to make Honey knock out temporarily.

"HONEY! NO!" Mori shouted as groups of Special Ops men began attacking him. Mori was able to defeat the men using his bare hands, since he couldn't use weapons inside the school. Unluckily, one of the Special Ops men sneaked from Mori's behind and knocked him down with a hard blow on the head.

Recognizing that the two male hosts were unconscious, the female students commanded the men to carry the hosts away from the building. Well, after the incident, the school alarm rang, causing a major panic among the students. Shouts and screams of terror filled Ouran Academy.

Meanwhile, inside Music Room # 3...

"WHAT WAS THAT EXPLOSION?!" Tamaki shouted as he stopped running.

"Whoa..." Hikaru and Kaoru said in unison.

Then the ground shook. The hosts started to panic as they felt the dread impact of that explosion beneath their feet. Haruhi pulled Misaki and hid under the strong, sturdy table. Afterwards, the ground shake stopped. After that, they heard the school alarm ringing loudly.

"Let's get out of here now!" Kyouya commanded and led everybody to the fire exit.

Once the hosts got out of the building, they saw smoke coming out from the roof. They noticed the shattered glass windows on the second floor of the building. Haruhi stared at Tamaki, then to Kyouya, afterwards to Hikaru and Kaoru. Lastly, she looked at Misaki, trying to hide the fear from her eyes.

"Are you OK?" she asked.

Misaki never said anything.

Hikaru and Kaoru approached Misaki and held her two hands. They blinked surprisingly when they felt Misaki's hands cold and shaking terribly.

"Oh no." Hikaru said, worried.

"Yurei-chan." Kaoru said as well, staring at his twin brother fearfully.

Kyouya took out his phone and contacted the authorities to fix the situation as urgent as possible. He talked to Haruhi, saying that he'll be gone for a moment. Understanding what Kyouya meant, Haruhi nodded and let Kyouya go.

Then, Haruhi looked around her and saw the students panicking, whispering with one another, asking what could have happened. She closed her eyes, breathing deeply. When she opened her eyes, she saw Misaki running away from them. The Hitachiin twins were now chasing her.

"HEY! Where the heck are you going?!" Haruhi said and began running.

"YUREI-CHAN, WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!" Hikaru shouted, running along with Kaoru.

"Geez, what is she planning to do?!" Kaoru said towards his elder brother while running.

"Misaki, come back!" Haruhi shouted and saw the Hitachiin twins by her side.

"Haruhi!" Kaoru shouted.

"Haruhi! Where's Kyouya-sempai?!" Hikaru asked.

"He'll take care of something important, don't worry! Something weird's going on here, and we have to find out what happened!" Haruhi shouted back.

"B-But, what about Yurei-chan?!" Kaoru said, pointing at Misaki, who was now running like the wind as she ran past them by almost a few kilometers away from them.

"Haruhi! What are we going to do?! She's too fast for a girl!" Hikaru asked, panting.

"I-I don't know! Let's just follow her and see where she's going! J-Just run and run until we reach her!" Haruhi answered.

Hikaru and Kaoru nodded and went on running behind.

Without the hosts' notice, Misaki, who was running fast with all her might, looked above the sky and then fixed her eyes on her way. Her face seemed seriously scared about what will happen next. Somehow, she knew who's behind the explosion, yet she must confirm it with her own eyes.

"I got to do something...or else..." she thought.
