Hope you liked the last chapter! If you all were confused a little while ago, I accidentally posted one of my chapters for 'Life With My Rock Star Stalker' here instead! *chuckles nervously* Sorry 'bout that! Hopefully this chapter makes up for it!
Enjoy!
Boomer's POV
Butch sweeps Buttercup in his arms and kisses her for about fifteen seconds. She didn't make a single move to get away from him either. I let out a sigh and Brick gives my hand a light squeeze, we both know it'll be only downhill from here, judging by the look in Buttercup's eyes.
She tries stuttering out a response, just to fail. The queen dismisses us all and Robin, Buttercup's friend, whisks her off.
"Dude, we're totally losing," Brick admits to me.
"If he's going to win, let's make it a total pain in his ass," I grin, for once, evilly.
"You've been spending too much time with us," Brick chuckles. He offers his hand to shake, "to the utter hell of our dear brother."
"To his displeasure," I say with a shake of his hand.
Family or not, if two of us are going to have broken hearts, the other will have to be screwed over one way or another a few times.

"Boomer, right," I hear a soft voice say from behind me. I look up from my sketch book to see one of Buttercup's sisters, Bubbles, smiling softly at me. Of Buttercup's sisters, she's my favorite. She's not naturally evil or anything; she's more of a henchman than the plotter. Away from Blossom and Princess Morbucks, she may not be all that bad.
"Hi Bubbles," I say with a small smile. "How are you?"
"Good," she replies. "How are you?"
"I've been better," I reply with a shrug.
"Shouldn't you be preparing for the next challenge to win over Buttercup or something?" She asks, "or have you given up?"
Remembering my pack with Brick, I shake my head with a grin, "I'm still giving it my all, but I don't think I'll win. That doesn't mean I can't try my best though, right?"
"I would've," she admits while taking a seat next to me on the stone garden bench. "Blossom beats me at everything, so I don't really try all that much anymore. She's the best at everything, save for sports or things of that stuff, Buttercup rules that category. The only thing I'm better at doing is housework and I can talk to animals."
The last thing caught my attention, "you can talk to animals?!"
"Yup," she says with a bob of her head. She makes a perfectly realistic squirrel chirp and suddenly a flood of fluffy brown rodents are at our feet. She dismisses them as easily as she calls them and they quickly disburse.
"That's one great party trick you got there," I tell her.
"Ya think so?" She asks shyly, "no one really thinks it's useful or anything since Blossom's extra power is heat and ice vision."
"I think it's an awesome power," I grin. "My only power is to be able to make earthquakes, that doesn't do me much good since earthquakes are destructive. You can always call a friend to chat with or warn you of incoming danger. Or you could call a army of birds to peck away at your enemies. It's a positive and powerful thing, don't take it for granted."
"I've never thought of it like that," she replies honestly. He blue eyes brightened up a significant amount. "Thanks for the pep talk Boomer, you're pretty cool. By the way, try shading the bushes in your drawing some more and add a few dew drops, it'll make it look a bit more realistic"
With that, Bubbles walks away without another word. I smile. She's not that bad when she's not with the others. I guess being in Blossom's shadow 24/7 didn't really give her a chance to build up her own confidence.

Brick's POV
I walk aimlessly through the palace's halls, looking for something, anything to do. My sensitive hearing picks up a beat-synchronized count. I pick up my speed a bit and find the door the counting's coming from slightly ajar. Inside the room is Princess Blossom going over a dance routine with a lady barking at her every move. There are little quirks here and there, but it's not nearly bad enough for her to yell at the princess that loudly.
"No, no, no," the lady shouts at Blossom. "That was horrible! My grandmother could do better and she can barely walk!"
"I'm sorry," Blossom says quietly. "Can I try again?"
"What's the point?" The lady says with an aimless examine of her nails, "you'll never be as good as your sister Buttercup. You're not powerful enough, you're not graceful enough. If you can't get my attention captivated, you have no point in even bothering being a princess. How can you get the attention of crowds and one of the princes when you barely entertain me? You know your sisters have already perfected the last dance easily while you struggled to get it first. You cheated and worked for extra hours. Buttercup truly learned the last dance the fastest and the best and she'll learn this one as well. You're incompetent, talentless and by far the most useless pri-"
"Shut up," Blossom screeches at the woman. "I'm better than them and I'll prove it to you! I've always been the best and I will always be the best! I was the first to open my eyes and look at the world, I blossomed forth and talked, I was the first to uncover my powers, and I will be the first to perfect this goddamn dance! Start the music!"
"And what if I don't want to watch your imperfect routine?" The woman counters, "I don't know if I'm up to vomit up my lunch right now."
"I'll keep going without you," Blossom says boldly.
"Who'll point out your imperfections then," the lady says while taking a bold step forward.
"I will," I say while walking into the room.
"Oh, and you think you can do my job better, little prince?" The lady laughs, "I'd love to see the final result of this."
On her way out, she stops next to me and lowly mumbles, "give her the push she needs or she'll never get better," and walks away. Hm, I guess the lady was just getting her riled up to make her do better. I do that to Boomer all the time, so I get it.
"So I guess I'm your new instructor," I say while giving the princess a grin. "Welcome to Brick's Ballerina Boot Camp, current amount of campers who will hate me by the end of the day: one."
She chuckles breathily and rolls her pink eyes. "Don't be afraid to yell, I need to get as good as I can."
"Ask my brothers," I say with a fox-like smirk, "I'm not afraid to yell."

After another two hours, Blossom's panting her lungs out, but she's finally perfected her dance. I'm impressed with her diligence. I honestly thought she was naturally good at everything, but I guess there's things she struggles at too. She's human- well kinda. The six of us weren't naturally born, but we have all the human qualities, so let's just say we're human.
"Thanks for all your help, Prince Brick," Blossom says with a grin, making her flushed face stand out against her white teeth.
"Call me Brick, Princess," I say with a wink.
"Call me Blossom, prince charming," she says with a wink.
Before I can reply, she's out of the door.
Brick/Boomer's POV
I walk through the halls until I reach my room. I send a nod towards my brother who just so happens to be going to bed now too. I open my door and flop down on my bed with a slight huff. I run my hands through my hair with a sigh. I learned something new today about her. She's not exactly what I thought she was. I guess you can't judge a book by its cover.
"I don't think life would be horrible if I ended up with her, she's kinda cute anyway."
Sooo how did I do? Tell me via review! Is there anything in the next chapter that you'd like to see?
Sorry for any and all typos
