Sorry I took so long to update. I finally got a job, which is sort of a relief because now I don't have my mom breathing down my neck to get one. And I went to otakon for the first time it was so much fun, I cosplayed as Hinata^-^

Chapter 9
When Minato and Kushina got home they went to bed. " Minato, what are we going to tell the council about Naruto?" kushina asked him.
" I forgot about those idiots, umm… we found him in Orochimaru's lab and is an orphan who we are going to adopt."
" I guess that works"
" It will have to for now. Night Kushina " he then kissed her " Night Minato" The next day Minato went to the council and told them. " What did Orochimaru do the child?" One member asked " Excuse me?" minato said " well Orochimaru was know to do experiments on children so what did Orochimaru experiment with this one, you never know Hokage-sama he could be a danger to Konoha."
" I could train him and put him into the ROOTS program. He would make an excellent addition if he was. He could be Konoha greatest weapon." Danzo told him. " Danzo I will not allow you to turn him into one of your emotionless shinobi. He is not a threat and he will not be treated like threat either. Orochimaru did nothing to him he was just kept there in a tube like a decoration. The file we found on him in there say Orochimaru did try but nothing accept him or destroyed him."
"So he had been experimented on?" asked a member " Yes but it never worked on him." Shikaku stood up and said " I believe Hokage-sama should watch over the child, he could easily take the child if he does show signs of getting out of hand. Besides the child does need someone to look after him."
"Then why not the orphanage?" someone counter " Because Hokage-sama already meet the child with Kushina-san and once Kushina-san make her mind up, it will happen one way or another. So we should choose the easier way now before she chooses the harder one." Fugaku said
" Beside a child should keep her busy and she won't be able to pull anymore pranks for a while." Shikaku said the council began to mumble about the comment. " Then it's settle Naruto will stay with the Hokage's family." Everyone was cheering 'No more pranks'. When everyone left Minato thanked Shikaku and Fugaku for supporting him. " There's no need for thanks Minato-san and I was serious about Kushina-san and her prank." Shikaku said " Yeah, they do get a little out of hand"
" A little?" Shikaku and Fugaku said " Hey no one gets hurt physically, just their pride or dignity."
"Anyway we'll probably bring the kids over to meet him one day soon. They're probably dying to see their friend." Shikaku said " Yeah Kushina and I plan on taking him home today, I see you guys later and thanks again." Minato then walked in the hospital to tell Naruto the good news. When he walked in he already found Sasuke and Shikamaru in the room talking to Naruto. " Well I see you guys wasted no time becoming friends" They all look up at him "Friends?" Naruto said
"Yup friends" Sasuke and Shikamaru said Naruto smiled at the thought " Good to see you're feeling better, so did you guys sneak away again from your moms?" Minato asked them " Maybe" they said " It's not my fault if you get in trouble and you're dads are head home now so I would get there before they do." The two boys gulp and ran yelling " Bye Naruto! see you later"
" Yeah dattebayo!" Naruto then turned back to Minato. " Ok Naruto-kun starting today you'll be living with Kushina and I, how's that sound?" Minato said
"Rea-really? Like adopt?"
" Yup we'll be your new kaa-san and tou-san" Naruto then ran into Minato's arms and started crying " H-hey what's the matter you want to come with us, don't you?" Naruto nodded his head and buried himself in Minato's arm " Good cause I would be in trouble with Kushina if you didn't" Sasuke and Shikamaru smile for their friend who was finally getting a family and left for real this time. Minato carried Naruto home " Naruto why was Sasuke-kun and Shikamaru-kun in the room anyways?"
Hours earlier
Shikamaru and Sasuke were outside of Naruto's hospital room. " Do you think he's awake?" Sasuke asked " How should I know?" Shikamaru said " Go in there and find out for yourself!" They opened the door and saw a yellow blur run under the bed. " Is your question answered Uchiha?" Shikamaru said " Hn" They close the door and walk to the bed. They look under to find Naruto, now in a white t-shirt with the Uzumaki symbol on it and blue shorts, up against the wall, Covering his head and looking at them with nothing but fear in his eyes. "H-hey don't be afraid, we just want to be your friend." Sasuke said " I-I no tr-trust." Naruto said " That's ok I wouldn't trust him either." Sasuke glared at Shikamaru who didn't pay any attention to it. "We wanted to know if you wanted to play with us?" Shikamaru said "Me play with you?" Naruto asked "Hn"
" and in Uchiha language that mean yes " earning Shikamaru another glare
"U-U-chi-ha?"
"Yeah Uchiha, they're one of the major clan that live here, are antisocial, and have a stick too far up their ass"
" Speak not same?"
" No that was a joke, all Uchiha say 'Hn' to all most everything. So it's a joke, that it's their own language. This is Uchiha Sasuke and I'm Nara Shikamaru ."
"Who's a lazy bastard" Sasuke said " I'm still smarter than you Uchiha" Shikamaru said "You may have brains Nara but you don't have the looks and that's what the ladies go for."
" Since when have you care what girls go for, you're always running away from them"
"I don't, I'm just making a point"
"Well for your information I had a girl back then and you had no one"
" Really who?"
"Temari no Sabaku"
" A Suna nin? And the princess no less "
" She no princess, she just another troublesome women"
"Anyway do you want to play with us?" Sasuke said to Naruto who has calm down. " C-can I rea-really play?"
" Sure why wouldn't you?"
"Your parents?"
"Oh I'm sure they would be fine with it"
" Okay me Uzumaki Naruto dattebayo!" Naruto said with full confidence "I'm" Sasuke said
" Huh"
"It's 'I'm naruto' not 'Me'. We'll help with your speech too" They moved to the bed and talk the rest of the time till Minato came in.
Present time
Minato and Naruto walk inside Minato's home "Okaeri" Kushina said "Tadaima" Minato said back. Naruto look at and didn't know what to say " Okaeri Naruto-kun" Kushina said "Ta-ta-dai-ma?"
"Yup say tadaima whenever someone says okaeri"
" Kay"
"Dinner done so lets go eat" Kushina said " Great what's on the menu?"
" Ramen!"
"RAMEN!" Naruto said with a huge smile " Oh we have another ramen lover in the house"
" Ramen is gods food"
"Wait till you try Kushina's ramen" Minato said as they sat down at the table and eat. " Minato right Kushina ramen better Ichiraku"
" I wouldn't say it was that good"
"Alright kid it getting late let's head to bed" Minato said as he took Naruto to his room. " Night Naruto-kun" Kushina said as she kissed his forehead, he blush a little and Kushina laughed. "Night" he said back and fell asleep.
Dream (Flashback)
Naruto was having ramen at Ichiraku again. He love it there cause he was never glared at by the family plus it was the only place that allowed him to eat there. When he was leaving the ramen stand, he notice villagers started glaring at him. He bumped into some drunk villagers " Hey demon you better apologize for running into me!" one of them said
" Sorry"
"Huh what was that I couldn't hear you?"
"I'M SORRY" Naruto then felt pain in his ribs and notice the guys were kicking him "SORRY, SORRY" Saruto kept screaming after every kick. " Do you think an apology will bring back my dead wife!"
"Or my kids!"
"Or my friends!" each one of them screamed. " You'll pay for what you did demon! We're going to finish what the Yondaime-sama started!" Naruto started to see black in his vision ' No I have to get away, they're going to kill me' he thought. One of the guy hitting him fell to the floor and didn't move. " H-hey Daisuke you ok?" One man said and didn't get a response. An Anbu with a inu mask and silver hair came out. " Maa maa, it's not nice to pick on little kids." Inu said " Why don't you join in? He or it took someone from you too didn't it?" Naruto then stared at Inu with fearful eye shaking his head. "I think you been mistaking, that wasn't this kid, that was something else."
'' Oh but this isn't a kid Inu-san, this is a monster that cleverly disguise itselfs as a harmless kid. This is the monster that took all our love one five years ago."
" Now I believe this is forbidden to talk about" Inu knock out the rest of them and turn to Naruto. "Hey Naru-chan are you ok?"
"I-inu-nii-san"
"Yup it's your nii-san come on lets go to the hospital and get you fix up."
" O-okay" Naruto let Inu pick him up and carry him to the hospital but before they made it Naruto passed out.
Dream end
Naruto open his eyes to find Minato and Kushina hovering above him. He instantly moved to the wall that was against his bed. " Wh-where am I?" he asked " You're home with me and Minato remember Naruto?" Kushina said. Thinking about it Naruto nodded his head " Did you have a nightmare?" He nodded his head again " Do you want to talk about it?" He shook his head this time. " Alright how about you sleep with us then?" Kushina said with a smile " Sl-sleep with you and Minato-san? Together?"
" Yup it will be like a family!"
"Family?"
"Yup family because that's what we are now Naruto. Minato is tou-san, I'm kaa-san and Naru-chan is aka-chan"
"Can-can I ca-call you kaa-san and to-tou-san?"
"Of course" Naruto jumped into Kushina arms and started crying. Soon fell asleep in her arms, they took him into their room and fell asleep in bed with Naruto in between them.
